TABBY POINTED SIAMESE CAT SOCIETY

Following written confirmation from the GCCF Office, the Officers and Committee of the TPSCS are now in the position to explain the situation with regard to the cancellation of the Breed 32 Cat Association Show 2011.  Due to the difficulties within the RP&TPSCC, and the absence of any Officers or Committee, the club was placed in a difficult position with regard to the Breed 32 Cat Association.  As it was not possible to ascertain how long the club would be inactive, the TPSCS had to decide the course of action to take with regard to the 2011 and 2012 shows.  It was not possible for the TPSCS to apply for a show licence for the 2012 season, as signatures were required from both clubs.  This situation resulted in the committee's decision to apply for a licence in the club name, in order to secure the future of the show for both 2011, 2012 and in the future.  The Officers and Committee would like to assure all interested parties that the decision was made with considerable regret, as the club has enjoyed an extremely successful and popular Breed 32 Cat Association Show, run jointly with the RP&TPSCC since 1979.  We sincerely hope that the recently appointed Acting RP&TPSCC Officers and Committee will be in the position to run a successful show in their own right in the future.

The Officers and Committee TPSCS
