BIRMAN CAT CLUB

The Birman Cat Club AGM took place in Solihull on April 22nd

It was well attended and combined club business with a substantial tea and an exhibition of pictures and books detailing the development of the breed, researched and compiled by Mrs Alwyn Hill and her husband.

There were both raffle tables and a selection of birman merchandise, featuring the new clothing and the very popular made in Yorkshire cat beds and igloos.

The £60 raised by the raffle was donated to the Birman Welfare and Rescue.

Mrs Elaine Culf was confirmed as Chairman and Mrs Anne Madden as Vice Chairman, Mrs Wendy Mcquilkin and Mrs Sarah Wilson, joined the committee replacing retiring members.

The GCCF delegates were confirmed as Mrs Elaine Culf, Mrs Val Kilby and Mr Jim Warrender, with Mr Peter Madden and Mr Neil Porter as reserves.

The annual Show will be held in Rugby again this year and tickets for the post show dinner are already available. For details check the web site at www.birmancatclub.co.uk

COLOURPOINT PERSIAN BREED ADVISORY COMMITTEE
