The IT Refresh Project

simple fundraisersThe Governing Council of the Cat Fancy recognises that its customers are under many pressures such as reduced income and available time. It also appreciates that more of its customers are connected digitally than they were only a few years ago. Recognising this and other needs, it is looking to provide as many of its services as it can via the world wide web. This requires a complete overhaul of its IT systems which a small project team have been working on for over a year now. To enable the work to be done in a reasonable timescale the GCCF will need to invest money in the project but will recover this money through savings as a part of the project and through other cost saving initiatives. These are summarised in the document(s) below. These documents can be supplied in printed form on request by email to the office on info@gccfcats.org

Funding

The GCCF is currently establishing if the project can be funded by receiving an interest free loan from its stakeholders, its constituent clubs and customers. Reasons for this method are given in the Project Summary Report below. The GCCF has already appealed directly to its Clubs and pledges of financial support raging from £50 to £5000 have been received. Individuals can contribute too, either with recognition or anonymously. For further details of how to pledge money please click here.

Latest News

The IT experts on the project team are currently trialling the Club information side of the web service with volunteers from Clubs to test the operation. We are looking for Club Officers / Delegates who are willing to take part in the development process, to test the system as it is developed and provide input to ensure it fits our needs. If anyone is interested in taking part, please email Ian.Macro@Crispus.co.uk with your details.
