BURMESE BREED ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The next meeting of the BBAC will be held on Sunday, 5th September 2010, at the Friesland Sports Centre, Nursery Avenue, Sandiacre.

THE FOREIGN BACs AND SELKIRK REX BAC SEMINAR

The Foreign BACs and Selkirk Rex BAC Seminar, presented by the Guild of GCCF Judges and Stewards, is to be held, 19th September 2010 at The Greig Centre, Kinwarton Road, Alcester, Warwickshire B49 6AD. There will be over 55 cats present representing 14 breeds. Those on exhibition are:

Asian, Australian Mist, Bengal, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Egyptian Mau,
Korat, LaPerm, Russian Blue, Selkirk Rex, Singapura, Sphynx,
Thai, Tonkinese
and introducing the Khao Manee (name subject to approval).

The event commences at 9.45 am with welcome and refreshments after which each BAC/Breeders Group will be demonstrating the standard for its breed throughout the morning and afternoon. The day, which includes lunch, will finish at 3.30 pm.

Tickets for the seminar will be £10. Cheques/postal orders should be made payable to the Guild of GCCF Judges and Stewards. If you would like to attend please send your cheques to the address below advising the name(s) of attendee(s). If you require a receipt or directions I would be grateful if you could enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Please could you also advise if you prefer a vegetarian option for lunch.

The Annual General Meeting of the Guild will be held half way through the event and the Chairman, Mrs. Helen Marriott-Power, looks forward to seeing members there.

NORTH WEST CAT CLUB
26th Championship Show

To be held on September 25th at Leigh Sport Village, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 4JZ

Schedules will be sent to last year’s exhibitors very soon.  Requests for a Schedule to be sent to Lesley Muffitt, The Laurels, Spen Brook, Newchurch in Pendle, Burnley BB12 9JH.  Please enclose an 8 x6 stamped envelope.  Anyone requiring a double pens, please confirm with Show Manager before sending in entry, due to having 500 cats last year double pens are strictly limited.


TORTIE, TORTIE & WHITE AND BI-COLOUR BAC

The next meeting of the Tortie, Tortie & White and Bi-colour BAC will be held on September 26th 2010 at Moto Services Travelodge, Junction 10 M42, Tamworth, Staffs. Items for inclusion on the agenda should be sent to me at The Old Post Office, Cottam, Retford, Notts, DN22 0EZ by August 23rd.

SELF PERSIAN BAC

The next meeting of the above BAC will be held on Sunday, September 26th 2010 at Moto Services Travelodge, Green Lane, Junction 10, M42 Motorway/A5, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 5PS at 1.00 p.m.

THE TABBY CAT CLUB AND EXOTIC CAT CLUB

The Tabby Cat Club and Exotic Cat Club are sharing the same venue at their Championship show on 2nd October 2010.

We are pleased to announce that Tabby and Tabby & White Exotics can enter both shows and therefore have the chance of two certificates on the day. We propose that exhibitors can only enter either Imperial / Grand or Open (one class only). We have been allowed by GCCF to split the Grand class so there will be a separate Grand class for Exotics.

Price will be £15 member, £18 non member.
