Mrs S Heavens

My thanks to Pat and her committee for the invitation I had a great day with some lovely cats, Sandie Holloway stewarded for me and as always handled the cats with great skill and was very pleasant company I do hope we can get together again soon.

A.C. BRITISH GRAND CHAMPION MALE

I.G.C.C. POTTER’S GR CH PAMPURRER PABLO HONEY (31f) M 20/04/06

Cream & White Bi-Colour. A lovely natured boy a fraction shy but better when he’d had a cuddle. Round head with medium width between well set ears, lovely expressive round deep orange eyes, short straight nose with cheeks and muzzle filling and rounding, level bite and fair chin. A good sized frame with depth to his chest and sturdy boning to his limbs, a fraction light weight at present he needs to tuck in. Super short coat a mid sound cream  and lovely sparkling white. White blaze to face, full thin collar, white to legs and stomach, cute cream dot to his chin and also spot to front paw. Balance length fully coloured tail.

Res W/H DENNY’S I.G.C.C. CHELSO EASTON CASPER (15) M 25/06/07

Black. A large gorgeous boy with super nature. Huge round head with wide smooth skull between well set medium sized ears, lovely large round orange eyes, broad straight nose, full developed cheeks rounded muzzle and good chin. Just massive frame, heavy and well filled but with balance, held up by short strong legs with large firm paws. A fabulous coat so short and crisp it was hard to get your fingers into it, he is starting to moult and I am sure his coat is on the change as he is very unsound to the roots at the moment, this was why I withheld the reserve award today, balanced length tail.

A.C. SELKIRK GRAND CHAMPION

1. G.C. W/H MARSLAND-ROUND’S CH CATBALU INDIANA (79S31D) M 26/06/04

Red and White Bi-Colour Shorthair. This boy had a nature to die for and I could have wasted all day with him, I was tickling and stroking him for a film crew and this was his undoing, as I then found a slight trace of powder so had to withhold the award, bi-colours are never easy especially when they have white to the tummy. Large round head with broad top and full cheeks set on a short thick neck , wide set to ears with good width to base more small than medium, round eyes a lovely orange colour, just a little closely set and I would have liked them large. Short nose that has a real curve when viewed in profile, full round cheeks and also rounded muzzle, level bite and quite firm chin. Huge body with massive boning a square shape, very short coat a little harsh in texture with lots of good clear curls, medium thick tail with compact curls.

A.C. SELKIRK REX PREMIER

G.P.C. RYAN’S PR CURLU NEVE (79S40 5) FN 19/04/08

Red Colourpointed. A super friendly girl, lovely round head broad and full cheeked set well on short thick neck. Rounded forehead and wide curved top of head between medium sized ears with cute tufts to tips. Large round eyes a super blue colour, short nose with downward slant, medium muzzle with well-padded whisker pads giving correct rectangular impression, level bite and firm chin. Good boning to rectangular frame fairly well filled but still balanced, super coat of waves and curls very well prepared and standing away from the body with plush soft feel, medium length tail with plush compact curls. I gather she was made up today, well done she’s lovely.

A.C. TABBY & WHITE EXOTIC MALE

1. C.C. B.O.B. BURROUGHS’S OWLETTS MACAVITY (70 7) M 1/05/09

Black Silver Tabby. A lovely boy I’ve not seen him before, he had a slightly quizzical look when the kiss test was applied but didn’t seem too bothered. Well round head with smooth top and good set to medium sized ears, huge round eyes a super orange colour, short snub  nose with deep break, lovely full round cheeks and muzzle, only slightly undershot bite, good chin. Cobby shape to body, not huge but there is good boning to the limbs and he is well balanced. Superb coat with good density and soft textured it is a dark silver but with good dense black markings, m to face, butterfly, clear defined spine lines and oysters,  full well ringed tail a little long in length.

2. DAVIS’S NABOO PHOENIX RISING (70 12a5ts) MN 17/02/09

Red Silver Tabby & White. A lovely sized boy, large round head with wide smooth top between well set medium sized ears, expressive eyes full and round a light orange colour, short nose with visible break, cheeks and muzzle filling well, narrow undershot bite, strong very stained chin. He has a large frame  and stand a little tall at present, he will be a whopper when he fills out, soft coat lacking in undercoat at the present so flat lying. He has colour to his head, body and tail, with white to chest and legs. A M is clearly visible to his face and in the large patch to his body there are oysters the spine lines at unclear, he is a very dark red and I am not sure there is silver present as there is no evidence of it to his head, the body patches do pale to the roots, but the addition of the silver gene should leech out colour and not intensify it. Full tail with some rings

A.C. TABBY & WHITE EXOTIC FEMALE

1. C.C. CLARK’S SHEERBLISS DAKOTA (70 12a6t) F 21/02/09

Tortie Tabby & White. What a sweetie, I realised when I saw my catalogue she was that scrumptious kitten I saw at the West of England last year, she has come on beautifully and still loves a kiss. Small round head with smooth top between ears just a fraction on the large side at present, lovely round orange eyes that I would have liked a fraction larger. Short snub nose with defined  break, cheeks filling well, she has a very strong chin but a narrow only slightly undershoot bite. A dainty girl with a compact cobby body and short fat legs, plush dense coat that stands well from the body, good patches of vibrant colour to the body with visible tabby pattern, balanced length full tail with rings.

A.C. TABBY & WHITE NEUTER MALE

1. P.C. W/H FINN’S MOROMOU CHUNKY MONKEY (70 20) MN 19/07/04

Brown Tabby. A very gentle boy, slightly small round head with good top between medium sized ears, he has  a rather heavy brow which hides his lovely orange eyes, short snub nose, full fat cheeks, narrow undershot bite. A compact rather well filled body he is obviously a very contented neuter, his coat was lacking in undercoat and seemed rather long and flat lying, he is moulting badly and as a result of which he has no clear tabby pattern at present  which was why I withheld the certificate. Full tail with some rings.

A.C. TABBY & WHITE NEUTER FEMALE

1. P.C. B.O.B. GLOVER’S OWLETTS TICKLED PINK (70 7) FN 10/08/07

Black Silver tabby. A very cute girl, well rounded head with width to top and neat small ears, large round orange eyes, snub nose with good break, full fat cheeks and rounded muzzle, rather narrow untidy bite, fair chin. Lovely cobby shape to body with short sturdy boned limbs. Lovely density and texture to coat, there is a good clear tabby pattern with M to face and butterfly to shoulder, clear spine lines and matched oysters, she does however seem to have a slight light brown tint all over, balanced length tail with rings.

BRITISH BLUE ADULT MALE

1. C.C. B.O.B. GRAY’S PAMPURRED FINN MCCOOL (16) M 25/07/08

A lovely young boy with super nature and innocent expression. Well rounded head with smooth top between neat small well set ears, wide set to large round eyes a rich orange colour, broad straight nose, nicely rounded cheeks and muzzle, level bite and good chin. Cobby shape to body with depth to chest and flanks, short dense coat a light blue with a touch of silvering in place, balanced length tail with rounded tip.

2. WOLFE’S LATCHCATS IMAGEOF EVAVALE (16) M 29/05/08

Another lovely boy with soft nature it was very close on the placings. Round faced with full cheeks and good smooth skull between medium sized ears, large round deep orange eyes, short broad nose, rounded cheeks and muzzle, level bite and strong chin. Square shape to frame a good balanced weight with short sturdy boned limbs, good density to coat a fraction on the long side and unsound in places which was my deciding factor, medium thick balanced tail.

3. DENNY’S CH CHELSO FELBRIDGE BLUEJOHN (16) M 28/05/09

This boy had the most delightful nature, he is just going thru his adolescent phase. Fairly round head with smooth top between what are currently rather large ears, good width between gorgeous well opened deep orange eyes, his cheeks are developing but need to fill out more as does his muzzle, level bite and fair chin. Nice boning to frame he is rather long and standing tall but will be a big boy when her fills out, short dense dark blue coat, full tail with rounded tip.

BRITISH BLUE ADULT FEMALE

1. C.C. MILES’S MARDENKA MUSICAL CHAIRS (16) F 4/09/08

A pretty girl with lovely expression, nicely rounded head with wide top and good set to medium sized ears, large round eyes a super orange colour, short broad nose, nicely rounded cheeks and muzzle, level bite and fair chin. Good boning to frame she is a touch rangy and needs to fill out, short dense coat a mid blue sound to roots, thick medium length tail with rounded tip.

2. BRADLEY’S SHEEPHOUSE BUNTY (16) F 12/09/08

Another very pretty girl and like my boys the placings were very close. Nicely rounded head with smooth top between ears that are fractionally on the large side, super colour to eyes they are not completely round, short nose with a distinct curve when viewed in profile balanced well by full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and fair chin. Compact frame with good boning, nice density to coat just a fraction longer that my winner and it was again this that was the deciding factor, medium thick balanced length tail.

3. HILLYARD’S TRUBRIT MOLLY JONES (16) F 26/03/08

Nice natured girl, despite being the eldest she is unfortunately the most adolescent at present, fairly round head with medium width between rather large unbalanced ears, super round deep orange eyes, broad straight nose, cheeks and muzzle rather shallow and needing to fill, level bite and fair chin. Fair boning to frame just a little rangy, short dense mid blue coat with firm texture, balance length tail with rounded tip.

BRITISH BLACK SILVER SPOTTED ADULT

1. C.C. B.O.B. GRAVES’S SARGENTA SILVER ZEBEDEE (30s) M 23/04/08

A lovely natured boy, quite round head with wide top between medium sized ears, expressive round eyes a pale lemon colour with green coming from round the pupils, broad straight nose with some fawning to tip, fairly full cheeks a fraction square to his muzzle, level bite and fair chin. A compact shaped frame with good solid boning well filled and nicely balanced, short dense coat a mid silver with clear dense black markings, clear M to face, his spine line is separating the spots are better to his left side than right, on both they are linked to the shoulder and clearer to centre of his body, balanced length tail showing rings.
