It was a pleasure to judge at this well-organised and friendly show.  My thanks to Jackie Pell and the club for inviting me, and to Jo Clements my hard working steward for all her help throughout the day.

GR CH            Jenkins GR CH Lomoras Bobbydazzla – Red & White Bi-Colour

Fourteen month-old, very well grown boy.  Good round head, ears well placed.  Round eyes of good deep orange that I would prefer larger and bolder.  Medium length broad nose, good firm chin and good bite.  Excellent body size, very well boned.  Rich red patches to head and body, with minimal markings, white areas very clean, long, silky textured coat.  Excellent preparation and condition.

Odd-eyed, Cream & White Bi-Colour

Good round head with ears well set on side of skull.  Round eyes, both of good colour.  Short, broad nose, round cheeks, good chin and bite.  Very cobby in shape with short well boned legs, and short (slightly stiff) tail.  Cream patches to his head, and fully coloured tail, the cream being medium in tone.  I did, in fact, prefer this boy’s head type to the winner’s, but he needed more preparation around his ears, top of head and to his bib and underparts, and this put him into second place today.

GR CH            Parke’s CH Ladygem Evita – Blue & White Bi-Colour

A pretty, feminine cat.  Round head with well placed ears.  Large orange eyes set wide apart, snub nose, good chin and bite.  Very cobby in shape, short legs and short full tail.  Her patches are of a medium shade of blue, her coat is long and silky and well prepared.  White V to her face, white to bib and all limbs.

RES GR CH   Owen’s CH Bessjet Rocawenbrightlight – Tortoiseshell

Young girl just 13 months old.  Good round head, neat well placed ears, round orange eyes, snub nose, round full cheeks, good chin.  Bite fractionally undershot.  Cobby in shape, with short legs and a short full tail.  She has a lovely Tortie coat, the black is shiny and she shows good red patching to her face, body, legs and tail.

Red Silver Tabby & White Bi-Colour Exotic SH

Very good round head, well placed ears.  Round orange eyes, short broad nose with good full leather, nicely rounded cheeks, good firm chin and good bite.  Very cobby body shape, short thick legs, short thick tail.  Super coat that is thick and soft, showing a good red silver tabby pattern to his head and back, white areas pristine.  Excellent condition.

Very flashy girl.  Good round head, ears very well set.  Round orange eyes that I would prefer slightly bolder.  Snub nose, good chin and bite.  Very cobby, short tail.  Super full coat, red to head plus a small black spot, full black leather.  Well defined red and black patches to her body and tail.  Excellent preparation and condition.

RES GR PR    Beattie’s CH & PR Barniluv Blubelle – Blue-Cream

Round head, ears quite well set a little open at the base.  Short broad nose, fairly round cheeks, good chin.  Well boned girl.  Her coat was a little woolly in texture today, of medium blue and slightly hot cream, with the pattern somewhat patched in places.

A big, dark tabby with large green eyes and very long whiskers.  Good big strong body with well boned limbs and a broad chest.  His coat was thick and silky in texture, and he was shown in excellent condition.

1st, CC & BOB           Owen’s Heathrose Romany Fyre – Female

Young girl of 11 months.  Nicely balanced round head, neat ears.  Round orange eyes, snub nose, nicely rounded cheeks, good chin, bite slightly undershot.  Cobby girl with short legs and short tail.  Fairly full, silky coat of very good rich red, showing some slight tabby markings to her head and faint bars to her legs and some shading to her flanks.  Very nicely presented.

1st, CC & BOB           Potter’s CH Primission Diligent – Male

Big, handsome boy.  Good round head, wide top and well set ears.  Nice big eyes spaced well apart.  Short broad nose, good chin and bite.  Good body shape and well boned short legs, and full tail.  Medium length coat, just slightly hot in tone, nicely prepared.

TORTIE OR CHOCOLATE TORTIE & WHITE KITTEN

1st & BOB       Cooke’s Firanty Felicia

Very pretty girl.  Round head, well set ears, round eyes with colour still developing.  Snub nose, good cheeks and chin.  Cobby body.  Very full soft coat.  Excellent preparation.  Red and black patches to head, body, legs and tail.

Excellent round head, well placed ears.  Round eyes with colour still developing.  Snub nose, round cheeks, good chin and bite.  Very cobby body, short legs and tail.  Super coat showing well defined patching.  Excellent condition and grooming.

2nd                    Roberts’ Alaskan Sugarcandy

Sweet baby, two months younger than the winner.  Round head, ears presently a little upright and open.  Lovely big eyes, nose a fraction long, round cheeks, good chin and bite.  Good cobby body shape covered with a soft coat showing medium toned patches of both blue and cream.  Short tail.

1st & BOB       Davey’s Primission Embellished – Red & White Female

Very nice round head, well placed ears.  Round orange eyes, round cheeks, good chin and bite.  Very cobby in shape.  Good coat texture, but needs more preparation underneath.

A superb boy with excellent balance.  He has a beautifully rounded head with the neatest of ears placed low on his skull.  Large round expressive orange eyes set wide apart, giving him a sweet open expression.  Neat nose, broad muzzle and good chin.  Very cobby body shape, short thick legs, short full tail.  His coat was very silky in texture, beautifully groomed with rich red patches to his head and face, fully coloured tail and random red spots to his back.

Very good round head, neat well placed ears, round deep orange eyes.  Snub nose, round cheeks, good chin and bite.  Very cobby in shape, short legs and tail.  Coat of excellent length and the softest texture, slightly dark blue and cream patches that are very well defined, and with a good balance between the colours, and the white areas pristine.

2nd        Sanders’ Chermicican Preciousgem – Cream & White Bi-Colour

Nice round head with good ear set.  Lovely big orange eyes, snub nose, bite rather undershot.  Cobby in shape, short full tail.  Cream areas to head and fully coloured tail, patches to shoulders and rump.

3rd        Roberts’ Alaskan Blueberry Muffin – Blue-Cream

Very good balance to head and body.  Good top of head and ears set, bold eye shape, good colour.  Snub nose, good chin and bite.  Cobby body, short legs and tail.  Full coat showing excellent tabby markings to the patches to her head, body and tail.

Good top of head and ear set.  Round orange eyes, snub nose, good cheeks, chin and bite.  Cobby body shape, short well boned legs, short full tail.  Superb coat, full and silky, rich red, very well prepared and very sound for a 3 month old kitten.

2nd        Yuille & Cairns’ Finchfield Justin Time – Black Exotic SH

Excellent round head, neat ears.  Round bold eyes with colour still developing.  Neat short nose, lovely round cheeks, good chin.  His bite presently shows his canines back to front (deciduous teeth), so hopefully this will correct itself when he sheds these and gets his permanent teeth.  Very cobby body shape, short legs and tail.  Lovely thick coat, very sound shiny black.  Excellent preparation.

Very well balanced round head, well placed ears.  Large expressive orange eyes.  Snub nose, good chin, teething very hard at present.  Cobby body shape, very full silky coat that was sound and very well prepared.

Supre cat.  Round, very well balanced head, well placed ears.  Round well-opened orange eyes, short broad nose, good chin and level bite.  Very good substantial body, well boned legs, medium length tail.  Beautiful coat, thick and dense and very sound shiny black.
2nd        Potter’s Kabenbe Blue Krystal – Blue & White Bi-Colour Female

Pretty girl, nice round head, good ear set, round orange eyes, short broad nose, good chin.  Good body shape.  Blue areas rather unsound and heavily silver tipped.

AC MAIDEN BRITISH KITTEN MALE

1st        Holloway’s Typically Texedo Junction – Cream & White Bi-Colour

A very nice kitten in all departments.  Good round head, well placed neat ears.  Round orange eyes, short broad nose, nicely rounded cheeks, good chin and level bite.  Good substantial cobby body, well boned legs, medium length tail.  A good dense coat, the cream areas are medium in tone, just showing some very slight spotting.  White V to face and all limbs.  Excellent condition and presentation. 

2nd        Newman’s Moormist Blackmagic – Black

Quite nice round head, ears well placed a little open at the base.  Round orange eyes, short broad nose, quite good round cheeks and good chin.  Good cobby body, well boned legs, medium length tail.  Nice texture coat of good shiny black and very sound.

Handsome kitten with a very good round head, good ear set, very nice eyes for both shape and colour.  Short broad nose, good chin and body.  Good coat but showing a lot of spotting at present.

Very nice head, good ear set.  Round orange eyes, short broad nose, good chin and level bite.  Cobby body shape, short legs and medium length tail.  Coat of good texture with quite well defined markings.

2nd        Roger’s Farodell Red Tuxedo – Red Silver Spotted Male

Round head, quite good ear set.  Lovely eyes for shape and colour, nose a little long.  Lovely coat pattern and colour.  Very nice condition and temperament.

Flashy boy of 7 months.  Very well grown kitten with lovely deep green eyes, a super thick plushy coat showing a well defined silver tabby & white pattern.

2nd        Hollandt’s Firecracker – Tortoiseshell Shorthair

What a great name for a Tortie!  Just 4 months old and looking a little overwhelmed by the whole show thing by the end of the afternoon when we got to her.  She has a coat of lovely rich colours and copper coloured eyes.
