Mrs A Matthews

A huge thank you to Helen, Sean and Sue for the invitation to judge Household and Pedigree pets at this brilliant Show, I had a great time and the exhibits were a joy.  I cannot forget to thank my amazing steward Janet Wilshaw who was entirely responsible for our outfits – thank you (I think). Always a pleasure.  We thoroughly enjoyed our day and we hope the exhibits and exhibitors felt the same way.
AC Pedigree Pet Master Cat (Grand Class)
GR MC to Mrs Lloyd’s MC Arnie – a delightful exhibit, happy to be shown, calm and content with a ‘been there got the T-shirt’ expression, which said it all.
Reserve GR MC to Ms J Dunstall’s MC Pickwick – an inquisitive lad with vivid blue eyes, a little nervous but a joy to handle, he must be a delight to live with.
Class 815 AC Self (single colour) Cat with or without white
MC & BOB Mrs P Potter’s Bertie Bassett - Lovely young lad beautifully prepared by his owner and very affectionate. Dense black coat and stunning deep amber eyes.
2nd Miss K McLeod’s Bear  - again a lovely lad but lacking the show preparation of my winner and he wanted to be back in the safety of his pen
Class 830a Any Other Colour or Pattern Cat, with or without White (Male)
MC BOB Ms J Marecki’s Mc Remus – a very pretty (in a masculine sort of way!)  exhibit with lovely blue eyes, a little nervous but kept it all together. Lovely soft coat, well prepared.
2nd Mrs J Johnson’s Alfie – shown in great condition, obviously well loved and treasured by his owner.
3rd Mrs E Scott’s Twizzle – a lovely ‘grumpy’ expression but easy to handle and very happy to be shown; he was kneading his feet as we held him. He would be held all day – if only we had the time…

Class 830b Any Other Colour or Pattern Cat, with or without White (Male)
1st MC Mr & Mrs Gardener’s Ellie – again lovely to see an exhibit in excellent condition and with great show preparation, congratulations.
Class 833a Red cat of any Pattern or any other colour Tortoishell or Tortie Tabby Cat, with or without White (Male)
1st MC BOB Mr J Bernard’s MC Charlie – a lovely alert but calm exhibit, heavy but athletic and of oriental type. Shown in lovely condition, happy to be held and fussed.
2nd Mrs & Mr Miller’s Jaspurr Miller – a rich red tabby coat in great condition, a little unsure of himself but easy to handle.

Class 833b Red cat of any Pattern or any other colour Tortoishell or Tortie Tabby Cat, with or without White (Female)
I dispensed with my stewards services for this class as I take any opportunity I can to hold a sphinx – it was a little warm on the day but I didn’t care… I loved them both.
1st MC Mrs A Ashman’s Kiki Galore – cracking grumpy expression, wonderful big ears and expressive eyes, my take home cat of the day.
2nd Mr & Mrs Miller’s GMC Cleo Katra Miller – just needing a little more show prep on the day.
