Mrs S Amor

Thank you to Kathy and the committee for inviting me to judge at my own breed’s show – a very special judging engagement. Thank you to Irene Roos who travelled specially to steward for me. She handled the cats and the paperwork expertly despite the worry of someone backing into her car in the carpark. I do hope the car is ok Irene. I look forward to us working together again in the New Year.
CLASS 13 BROWN, BLUE, CHOCOLATE, LILAC OR CARAMEL KITTEN MALE
1st Tamlin’s TAMTONKS HARLEY KWARA A handsome young brown boy, very good size and weight for age. The head was gently rounded with a moderately proportioned wedge showing a definite whisker pinch. There was good width between his medium sized ears which he was holding slightly upright. He had a lovely profile with a slight nose break leading to a level bite and a moderately deep chin. His large and expressive eyes were more almond shaped than round, set well apart and a lovely bluey green colour. He had a firm, muscular body with a nice short, close-lying length. His legs were slender and well muscled with neat and oval feet and a tapering tail of medium length, neither thick nor whippy. Superb temperament and very well presented.
2nd Walker’s KICHIKO PALOMINE A lovely lilac boy, full of character and a good firm body showing excellent muscle  tone. The head was gently rounded on top with a moderately proportioned wedge showing a definite whisker pinch.  A lovely ear set showing  good width between the ears and the outer edge continuing the line of the wedge. His large and expressive eyes were more almond shaped than round, set well apart and showing evidence of a blue green colour. His legs were slender and well muscled with neat and oval feet. A lovely sleek, close-lying coat presented in excellent condition.
3rd Goodburn’s HYLILY PRICELESS PICASSO Another lovely boy, a very dark chocolate colour and a good size for his age. The head was gently rounded with a moderately proportioned wedge showing a definite whisker pinch. There was good width between his medium sized ears which were nicely pricked forward. He had a good profile with a slight nose break leading to a slightly untidy bite and a moderately deep chin. His body was nicely balanced and coat was close-lying, slightly marred by a mark on his flank. A lovely temperament and presented well.
CLASS 14 BROWN, BLUE, CHOCOLATE, LILAC OR CARAMEL KITTEN FEMALE
1st & BOB Hitching’s CWTCHYCATZ ROGUE A lovely little lilac girl, so full of confidence and presence, waiting for her adoring public to come and meet her. She displayed an excellent overall balance, a soft sleek coat and a good weight for its size. Her head showed gentle contours, with nicely rounded top and good width between the ears. Her eyes were large and expressive showing a nice almond shape and an eye colour that was developing nicely. Her legs were slender and well muscled with neat and oval feet. There was a good length to her tail, which was neither thick nor whippy. I was happy to award her BOB and was pleased to see her later in the BIS Kitten pen.
2nd Hunter’s ALLICA CATALUNYA Another lovely girl, this time a stunning blue colour. She was an extremely good size and weight for her age and was unlucky to come up against the other girl. Excellent coat pattern and texture and good overall balance to body. Her head showed gentle contours, with nicely rounded top and good width between the ears, a moderately proportioned wedge and a definite whisker pinch.  A good profile with a very slightly overshot bite probably due to teething. Her eyes were large and expressive showing a nice almond shape and an eye colour that was developing nicely. A good length to her tail which balanced the rest of her body very well. A very confident young lady, beautifully presented.
CLASS 22 AC ADULT
1st Edge’s TARJJIKA TALLULAH TULIP A lovely young lilac lady. Firm, muscular body nicely balanced, showing good, well defined coat pattern. Nicely rounded top of head with good ear set and neat ears which she was holding slightly high. Good profile showing a slight nose break leading to a level bite. Large expressive eyes a yellowy green colour with just a hint of blue. Slender legs with neat and oval feet. Nice shape to tail, of good length with very faint barring towards the tip.
CLASS 33 SPECIAL LIMIT ADULT
1st Edge’s CH TARJJIKA SKYLARK Lovely, large blue tabby girl. Very well balanced appearance and good weight for size. Nicely rounded top of head with excellent ear set and neat ears. Good profile showing a slight nose break leading to a level bite and firm chin. A slightly long muzzle but very alert expression. Large expressive eyes showing a nice bluey green colour. Coat close lying and short but very slightly harsh. Nice shape to tail, of good length. A lovely temperament and nicely presented.
2nd Chapple’s ANTIKPATINA PRUNELLA A lovely brown tabby girl slightly nervous out of pen but much happier back in. A lovely top of head showing good width between well set ears. Could do with a little more width across cheeks but an otherwise good profile showing slight nose break and level bite. Large expressive eyes, displaying lovely bluey green eye colour. A nice well balanced body with tail of good length to balance, neither thick nor whippy. Short, close lying coat with nice texture presented very well.
3rd Mason’s TOSHIKI AZRA A lovely, very friendly dark brown tortie girl. The coat was an excellent texture, short and close lying showing lovely tortie mingling. Nicely rounded top of head with good ear set and neat ears. Large expressive eyes, displaying lovely greeny blue eye colour. Good profile showing a slight nose break leading to a level bite and firm chin. Slightly narrow across muzzle.  A good firm, muscular body nicely balanced with elegant limbs and neat, oval paws and a tail of excellent length and shape.
This was a very hard class to judge as all three girls were very evenly matched. Well done to all three.
CLASS 37 VETERAN ADULT
1st Goodburn’s CH TOSHIKI HYLILY ZODIAC A lovely blue girl in super condition for her age. She was a good size and weight and displayed excellent muscle tone. Nicely rounded top of head with good ear set and neat ears. Good profile showing a slight nose break leading to a level bite and good depth to chin. Large expressive eyes, displaying lovely bluey green eye colour. Her coat was short and close lying with a lovely soft sheen but was slightly harsher near her tail. It had very good colour definition. A great cat, well presented and with a super temperament.

Lovely profile showing a slight nose break, with a slight bump on her nose, leading to a level bite and firm chin. A really nice example of the breed who unfortunately didn’t conform to the colour description of a lilac and who, I suspect, is a very attractive caramel.

A very good size and weight displaying good muscle tone. Gentle rounding to top of head with fair width between the ears. Excellent presentation and temperament.
2nd Chapple’s ANTIKPATINA LOGIBEAR Another lovely big boy, this time with a lovely shiny brown coat. He displayed an excellent coat pattern but faint barring was evident on his legs and tail. He was a very good size and weight and his body was firm and muscular. Gentle rounding to top of head with ears of good set and shape. Large bluey  green expressive eyes. Muzzle slightly  long, showing whisker pinch and nice firm rounded muzzle. Profile shows a slight nose break, medium depth to chin and good level bite.  This boy has a lovely temperament and was presented well.
