Mrs C Jones

Many thanks to Margaret and Eileen for the invitation to Judge at this well organised Show. I had an

enjoyable day with some very nice exhibits.

AV ANY OTHER FOREIGN CHAMPION (GR.CH.) MALE:

GR.CH. WHITEHOUSE’S CH. ACCLAIM WHITECREST AZIZI(78 30s):  A lad of eighteen months of age and at present somewhat adolescent, although muscular and firm.  Head a generally well balanced,  slightly rounded wedge, of medium length with a slightly long nose although of  uniform width.  Ears medium to large in size, broad at the base with good width between and correctly set.  Eyes large, well set with a good expression and a pale green in colour.  Body long and graceful and feeling muscular.  Legs elegant with small and rounded feet.  Tail rather long in proportion to body but is moderately thick at base with a slight taper.  Coat medium in length, dense and with a resilient texture.  Overall pattern very good and clear,  being a pale silver ground with  distinct  dark grey spots, giving a good contrast.  A slightly shy boy but easy to assess.

AV ANY OTHER FOREIGN CHAMPION (GR.CH.), FEMALE:

1 MCRAE AND BAGGS CH. YESSO BRECHIN (73b): A rather timid girl of fifteen months of age.  Head a rather short and rounded wedge with a broad muzzle.  Good clear face markings which flow over head and break into small spots down neck.  Profile shows a slightly short muzzle, firm chin and level bite.  Ears medium in size, wide at base and needing a little more width between.  Eyes moderately large, almond-shaped with good width between, well set and a deep gold in colour.  Body firm,  muscular and feeling strong although I would like this girl a little larger in size.  Tail of sufficient length to balance body which is broad at the base.  Coat rather on the long side and feeling woolly, although moderately close lying.  Coat colour good,  showing clear chocolate spotting on a pale copper ground.  This girl did present better out of her pen than when in it but I felt unable to award the Certificate on account of her head shape, size and somewhat woolly coat.   Whilst she was rather shy she was without malice and easy to assess.

BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL KITTEN MALE:

1 AND BOB TURLEY’S KORSHKI JUNGLE ROOTZ OF TRIBALGEM:   A lovely boy of five months of age and very well grown. Head a well balanced broad medium wedge, slightly longer than wide.  Excellent face markings which run over head, down neck and develop into a complex pattern across shoulders.  Nose large and broad with slightly puffed nose leather.  Muzzle full and broad.   Ears rather on the large side,  with good width between and well set.  Profile shows gentle curve from the forehead with a slight dip in the nose line, moderately firm chin and level bite.  Eyes excellent, large in size, oval in shape, well set and a greenish gold in colour.  Body medium  to long in length with a strong and muscular feel to it.  Legs medium in length, strong and muscular with large rounded paws.  Leg pattern mostly broken slashes  with a few spots evident, all very clear.  Tail medium in length, thick and even with a rounded tip.  Tail pattern a mixture of streaks and small spots  with a short,   almost black tip.    Coat a little long at present but is dense, soft and luxurious to the touch. Coat colours a pale gold ground with large black spots.  Coat pattern superb being primarily large rosetted spots, with an extreme contrast, making them very distinct. Tummy clearly spotted.   Spine line almost totally patterned. A lovely lad, such a poser with a brilliant temperament and a coat pattern which was just stunning.

2 EDWARDS’ ZAWADI DIZZEE RASCAL:    Another lad of five months, very well grown with a strong feel to him.  Head a broad medium wedge, slightly longer than wide and although the muzzle is strong, at present it shows a rather strong indentation, maybe this is due to teething.  Good clear face markings which flow over head, down neck to a very complex shoulder pattern. Good large and broad nose.   Profile shows correct curve from the forehead with a slight dip in nose line, firm chin and almost level bite.  Ears large in size but need a little more width between for perfection, just slightly spoiling the overall balance of the head.    Eyes lovely, large in size, oval in shape, well set and a greenish gold in colour.  Body long in length, firm and muscular and carried on medium length, strong and muscular legs with large rounded paws.  Leg markings a mixture of slashes and small spots.  Paws at present not spotted.  Tail medium in length, thick and even with a pattern of broken rings interspersed with small spots.  Coat short in length and whilst not particularly dense is soft and luxurious to the touch.  Coat colours a warm gold ground with very dark brown spots, the largest of which were arrowheaded and all clear and distinct.  Tummy very pale gold in colour with large clear spots.  One chin strap and two thick necklaces complete an overall excellent pattern.  Another laid back boy, well presented and easy to assess.

3 HIBBS CHRISJAY CUERVO:  A happy lad of six months of age.  Head reasonably broad just requiring a little more width across top to balance length.  The nose was large and broad with slightly puffed nose leather although I would have preferred the muzzle to be a little strong with more indentation.  Super clear face markings which run over neck and  form a very complex pattern of small spots over the shoulders and upper back.  Profile shows gentle curve, the slightest of dips in the nose line, moderately firm chin and level bite.  Ears large with good width between and correctly set.  Eyes large, almost round in shape and correctly set.  Body very long, very sleek and muscular with a long  rather fine tail.  Tail pattern a mixture of broken rings and small spots with a short dark brown tip.  Legs long and muscular with medium sized rounded paws. Coat short in length and whilst not particularly dense is soft to the touch.  Coat colours a medium gold ground with a dark brown pattern of lots and lots of small and medium sized spots, some of which were arrowheaded.  Tummy very clearly spotted with small spots. One chin strap and two necklaces complete an overall good pattern.  A well presented boy with an excellent temperament and very unlucky to come up against two very impressive boys today.

BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL KITTEN FEMALE:

1 EDWARDS’ ZAWADI MISS DYNAMITE:   A very pretty, albeit apprehensive girl of five and a half months of age.  Head overall a moderately well balanced wedge, slightly longer than wide, although the muzzle is rather too rounded at present.  Good  large and broad nose with slightly puffed nose leather.  Good clear face markings.  Profile shows correct curve from the forehead with a slight dip in the nose line, firm chin and level bite.  Ears very nice being medium in size, broad at base needing just a fraction more width between,  although correctly set.  Eyes  almost round in shape, large in size and well set.  Body medium to long in length with a good strong feel to it and carried on medium length, strong and muscular legs and large rounded paws.  Forelegs show a pattern of one bracelet and lots of baby spots whilst hind legs are a mixture of slashes and spots.  Tail medium in length, thick and even with a rounded tip.  Coat colours a warm gold ground with a dark brown pattern and a very pale tummy.  Good clear pattern of small, medium and some large spots.  All very distinct.   A very pretty girl, well presented and whilst very worried was not difficult to assess.

OCICAT NEUTER FEMALE:

P.C. AND BOB WHITLING’S THICKTHORN LOTTIE(73b):   A really super girl of just under a year of age.  Head a well balanced moderate wedge, slightly longer than wide with a broad and well defined muzzle and  moderate whisker pinch.  Lovely clear face markings.  Good profile showing firm chin and level bite.  Ears moderately large, wide at base with correct width between and well set.  Eyes large, almond shaped with good width between and correctly set.  Body super, solid, muscular and strong  with a good athletic appearance.  Tail of good length to balance body, broad at the base with a slight taper.   Excellent coat, short, close lying and sleek with a lovely sheen.  Coat colours really impressive with a pale copper agouti ground and a clear chocolate pattern which was distinct.   Face, legs and tail markings all excellent. very   Coat short in length, close lying and sleek with a lovely sheen to it.   A really nice girl, very happy and easy to assess.

EGYPTIAN MAU NEUTER:

BOB CROUCH’S GRP.PR.CWMDARRAN AZRAFF(78 36):  I have met this lad on many occasions and am still impressed by his outgoing nature.  He is a very handsome cat who is well balanced and strong with a very muscular feel to him.  Head well balanced being  a slightly rounded wedge with medium sized, large well set ears . Eyes large in size, well set and gooseberry green in colour.  Coat dense and silky, although now a fraction long in length.  Contrast to silvery white ground with black spots on sides and flanks good, although I felt the spotting over upper back was now fairly indistinct.
