Thank you so very much to Margaret Gear, Eileen Fryer and Sue Amor for a most enjoyable show, also very many thanks to Mary Hutchings for coming especially to steward for me, we had a very good day together.

ASIAN TABBY (SPOTTED, CLASSIC, MACKEREL OR TICKED) ADULT

BOB Mrs C Pilkington’s, GR CH GARES OYSTERCATCHER, (72  45q). F. 24.7.07. This girl has that very special “Look” on her face!!! Overall of very good Asian type, she has a large, strong, wide, short wedge head, very wide top and large well placed ears, good nose break, deep chin and level bite, very expressive yellowy green eyes of correct shape and set, large strong body, strong legs and oval paws, medium to long tail. Short, fine, close lying brown ticked tabby coat, very good ticking. A real character well presented in excellent condition.

SNOW SPOTTED (AOC-EYED & BLUE-EYED) BENGAL KITTEN. 1 & BOB.  Mrs J Jones’. LEAPSDEN BELLA, (76b 30). F. 31.1.10 A fairly well grown girl of good type, she has a moderate, gently rounded head, fairly wide top and large ears which she holds a little high at times, break in profile, firm chin and level bite, rather rounded eyes of good blue, long firm body, strong legs and rounded paws, long thickish tail. Short coat with fairly clear spots and markings of warm reddish brown on an ivory ground, she has darker points, a few faint spots on her tummy. A friendly girl well presented in good condition.

OCICAT (CLASSIC TABBY) ASSESMENT A/K/N  MERIT  Mr S Whiting’s, THICKTHORN LEONARD, (73 41). MN, 25.11.09.  A well grown young man of very good type, he has a large modified wedge head, very wide top and large well set tufted ears, just enough nose break, muzzle needs to be a little squarer, firm chin and level bite. Yellowy green eyes of good shape and set, large strong body, strong legs and large feet!! Long slightly thick tail. Fairly short sleek coat with well defined classic markings of dark warm brown on a tawny agouti ground, good oysters. A real character well presented in excellent condition.

ORIENTAL TORTOISESHELL KITTEN  1 & BOB Mrs G Siviter’s, ROCHEROS LADY GUINEVERE. (37h). F. 27.3.2010 A very pretty girl of very good type, she has a large wedge head, lovely top and huge well set ears, almost straight profile, firm chin and level bite, yellowy green eyes of oriental shape and set, very long firm body, long legs and oval paws, long tapering tail. Slightly long, very brightly coloured, warm chocolate and red tortie coat. A very elegant girl, well presented in excellent condition.

CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN  1 but BOB w/h Mrs E Maybury’s, SAMANDJON MYANGEL, (24b). F, 13.4.10. A fairly well grown girl of good type, she has a large, slightly pinched wedge head, wide top and large well set ears, dip in profile, firm chin and level bite, slightly full eyes of mid blue, they really need to be a little darker blue, well proportioned firm body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail. Dark chocolate points (my main reason for having to withhold best of breed, sorry) and pale ivory body so very clear contrast, soft fine coat. A friendly girl well presented in excellent condition.

A.C. SIAMESE OR BALINESE GRAND PREMIER {IMP GR PR), MALE
IMP GR PR  Mr N Gourley & Mrs P Ward’s. GR PR DAZZLING BEN HUR. (24). MN.  15.9.05.  A very chatty, large, strong, “Aristocratic” gentleman of very good type, he has a large strong wedge head, very good wide top and large well set ears, straight profile, deep chin and level bite, dark blue eyes of oriental shape and set, large, long, strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail. Dark seal points and some shading on his cream body, still plenty of contrast, fairly short coat of good texture. In a good mood today! Well presented in excellent condition. Res. IMP GR PR Miss V Crowley & Mr I Lambert’s, GR PR JOHPAS RAFAEL. 32fn). MN , 9.5.08. This boy has a lovely face!! Overall of very good type and unlucky to meet the winner, he has a large wedge head, wide top and large well set ears, straight profile, firm chin and level bite, expressive dark blue eyes of oriental shape and set, long strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail. Very good apricot points and a little shading on his warm creamy white body, still plenty of contrast, soft fine coat. Such a dear boy well presented in excellent condition.

A.C. SIAMESE OR BALINESE GRAND PREMIER (IMP GR PR), FEMALE
1 but IMP GR PR w/h. Mr & Mrs K Green’s, IMP GR CH & GR PR MAPU ALLEGRA, (24). FN  30.10.04. A sweet girl of good type, she has a medium to large wedge head, wide top and medium to large well set ears, almost straight profile, fair chin and level bite. ( She had a scar under her chin, the duty vet said, it looked as if she had been scratched, ) Deep blue oriental eyes, which were a little deep set and slightly sore. Strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail. Caramel points and unshaded off white body so good contrast, slightly long coat. I am sorry, but overall, I did not feel she was quite up to Imperial standard on this occasion.

Lady Bruce-Gardner’s, GR CH FRILFORD SILVER FILAGREE, (72 43sq) F A very pretty Brown Silver Shaded Asian girl of very good type, large short wide wedge head, wide top and large ears, correct nose break, green eyes, strong body, short, soft, very pale brown silver shaded coat. 3. Mrs J Jones’ GR CH ASETSH CHEBONA BULA  (76 30). M. Huge strong Brown Spotted Bengal male, correct head, green eyes, very long body, long thickish tail, very short coat with clear spots and markings of mid brown on a buff ground.

A.V. FOREIGN LIMIT ADULT 1.Mrs C Turner-Russell’s, DAYLIGHT REGATTA, (72 43s). F. A very chatty Black Silver Shaded Asian girl of very good type, large wide short wedge head, wide top and large ears, very expressive green eyes, strong body, very short, fine, black silver shaded coat. Well done on becoming Best Foreign Adult in the Show. 2.Ms E Stark, DUSHENKA YSABELLA’s, (16a). F. A pretty Russian girl of good type, Neat wedge head, ears held high, puffed whisker pads, green eyes, rather too much nose dip, mid blue coat of good texture. 3.Miss L Brookes’, SUNTOUCHED THEODORIC, (76 30). M. X3 Mrs Y Wilson’s. KUZMA KATZAKIORA GRAND SPHYNX (IMP). (84 16).M

A large Brown Spotted Bengal male kitten of very good type, large rounded head, longer than wide, good top and large ears, green eyes, very long strong body, thickish tail, short soft coat with very clear spots and markings of warm brown on a warm buff ground. 2. Mr A & Mrs C Bernard’s, TARJJIKA MISCHIEF. (74at). F. A small Tonkinese kitten of good type and the sweetest nature, moderate wedge head, large ears, greeny blue eyes, strong body, blue tabby kitten coat.

M.  A really super Brown Spotted Bengal male kitten of very good type, moderate gently rounded head, good top and large ears, expressive eyes, strong body, long thickish tail, short coat with wonderful rosetted spots and markings of very dark brown on a buff ground, excellent contrast, well done on becoming Best Foreign in the Show 2. Mrs Y Wilson’s. WITCHYPUSS KATZAKIORAELLE. (33a 30bs). F. An attractive Devon Rex girl of very good type, short wide wedge head, huge ears held correctly low, nose stop, complete coat but not much rexing at present. 3. Mrs M & Miss S Pollett’s. WAVETAIL MUSTARD SEED. (23a). F. Very pretty little Sorrel Abyssinian girl of very good type.

A.C. ASIAN NEUTER 1. Mrs S Plaw’s, IMP GR PR RAINSONG STEVIE GERRARD. (72 45d). MN. A real character of very good type who was looking after his friend!!?? Large, wide short wedge head, wide top and medium sized ears, good nose break, expressive yellowy green eyes, large body, fair length tail. Short bright red ticked tabby coat. 2. Mr & Mrs Eldridge’s. FRILFORD PATINEUSE. (72 43bsq). FN. A pretty girl of very good type, short, wide wedge head, wide top and large ears, green eyes, strong body, fair length tail. Short pale chocolate silver shaded coat. 3. Mrs A Harrison’s, TAHIRAH STORMCHASER, (68 43bsq). MN. Overall of fairly good type, coat a little thick.

A large, long Brown Spotted Bengal neuter of very good type, large strong head, large ears, green eyes, very long strong body, very long legs, long thickish tail. Short coat with clear spots and markings of brown on a paler ground. Very friendly. 2. Mrs A Coak’s, TYPHAST ZSAMI, (76 30). MN. A long slim Brown Spotted Bengal neuter of good type, slightly narrow head, large ears, green eyes, very long body, very long tail which needs to be a little thicker, very clear spots and markings of warm brown on a warm buff ground. Extremely friendly. 3. Mr R & Mrs K Holloway’s, PR MICAJA.S VILLAMAJIC, (33a 36d). F.  X3. Mr S Whiting’s. THICKTHORN LEONARD. (73 41). MN.

Overall of very good type, modified wedge head, large tufted ears, square muzzle, expressive eyes, muscular body, lots of clear warm chocolate spots. A very sweet girl.  2. see  Mrs A Coak’s, TYPHAST ZSAMI, (76 30). MN.
