Thanks to Kim & Megan for the invite to judge at this little show that was combined with the Coventry & Leicester Show.  The special judge’s rosette was a nice touch and an attractive memento of the show.

AC CORNISH REX NEUTER WITHOUT A TITLE
1ST & BOB LOWELL’S MEGGYMOO DANTES INFERNO (33 36) MN 23.03.09
A very handsome young man, a black smoke boy of nearly 2 years.  Head a medium wedge narrowing to a rounded muzzle.  Flat skull, rounded forehead and straight profile.  Level bite & deep chin but his nose comes over his chin a little.  Large ears but it was difficult getting him to put them up & his eyes are a little full.  Elegant & muscular body with a lovely strong body carried high on long slender limbs.  Long tapering tail.  Very short coat with some ripples on the lower back, plushy on the shoulders.  His coat is of an even length but I would prefer more depth to the waves.  I couldn’t see any evidence of him being a smoke but no points for this.  Shown in excellent condition.  He preferred the security of his pen but is a gentle fellow.

1ST TYLER’S GR PR MEGGYMOO DONNCHA (33 31s) MN
A familiar boy with a black smoke & white coat pattern, the Hitler moustache and white tip to his tail is very distinctive.  Lovely type, head a medium wedge narrowing to a rounded muzzle with high cheek bones.  Large well-set ears though his eyes are a little full.  Very elegant with a strong muscular body carried high on long slender limbs.  Long tapering tail.  Short coat with good ripples though the texture could ideally be silkier.  Long whiskers.  Shown in excellent condition, he was slightly reserved but with a gentle nature.
