Mrs A Ivinson

Congratulations to the Club on the occasion of their first Exemption Show, and thank you to Mrs V. Carnell and the Committee for my invitation to judge at this Show. My thanks to my Steward, Heather Rope, for being such a support on the day.

BLUE ADULT MALE.

1. BOB. STILIES'S CH. ACHURI MECONOPSIS. 16. M. 6.8.07.
A mature looking British boy of nearly 4yr. showing good British type.

Large cobby body; broad chest; well boned medium legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of mid-blue, short, of good density, paling slightly to roots. He was a shy boy who was much happier in his pen.

A very solid boy of over two and a half years showing good British type.
Round head with good breadth and depth; medium sized ears; round cheeks well developed to muzzle line; level bite, firm chin, short broad nose; round eyes of a golden shade. A large cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of mid-blue, short, dense, slightly soft in texture, paling to roots and slightly banded. A shy boy who handled well, and shown in good condition.

BLUE ADULT FEMALE.

1. FAWCETT'S MARKSHIR KATE. 16. F. 26.4.09.
A well grown young girl of nearly 2yr. showing good British type. Round head; neat ears; cheeks nicely rounded to muzzle line; level bite, firm chin, short broad nose; round eyes of a really super copper shade! Medium size cobby body of good weight; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of good density, and firm, shorter on sides of body, longer on the spine; coat is mid-blue in shade, sound to roots. She handled well and was shown in good condition.
2. ACTON'S IDLEBECK ELIZA DOLITTLE. 16. F. 18.2.08.
A good size 3yr. old British Blue. Round head; neat ears; cheeks rounded to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale gold shade. Cobby body standing a little tall on her legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat was short and dense, mid-blue almost sound to roots. A friendly little girl who was shown in good condition.

3. BURFORD'S KAROWBIST YUM YUM. 16. F. 6.6.10.
A young girl of just over 9 months who was not very happy to come out of her pen today. Round head, ears standing tall; cheeks needing to fill out a little more; firm muzzle and chin, level bite, short broad nose; round eyes of a copper shade. Body a little rangy, but of good weight; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat of dark blue, short, dense, and firm, though paling to the roots.

CHOCOLATE KITTEN.

1. BOB. ACTON'S IDLEBECK JUSTIN THYME. 15b. M. 1.8.10.
I was delighted to see this Chocolate boy of 8 months again. I have seen him several times before when his coat was going through a difficult stage. Round head; neat ears; gently rounded cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of a pale golden shade. Cobby body developing well; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. Coat short and dense, a little soft in texture; of a rich chocolate, just paling to roots. A very friendly boy who was so easy to handle, and who was shown in good condition.

BRITISH NEUTER.

1. BOB. HILL'S IGR. PR. KATELORO MUMBO JUMBO. 16. MN. 18.1.08.
To me this British Blue boy of over 3yr., and showing good British type, is one of the best Blues around! Round head with good breadth and depth; neat ears with good space between; balanced round cheeks to muzzle line; level bite, short broad nose, firm chin; round eyes of gold giving him a very coy expression! Good size cobby body; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail. What a coat! - mid-blue in shade, really short, dense, and firm, completely sound to roots. He has such a gentle shy personality, and a pleasure to judge. He was shown in good condition.
