Mrs C Bamford
I thank the committee for my invite to judge at their show for the first time. I really enjoyed my day and with Heather McRae stewarding for me I had a very nice time with some lovely exhibits.
Ac Exotic Sh Tabby or Tabby & White Adult Male: BOB only WALL’S IGR CH SHEERBLISS GIFTWRAPPED. (70 30s) 01/11/08. Large Silver Spotted Tabby Exotic of lovely type with a cobby shape to his body, heavy bone and a short tail.. His large round head had good width between fairly neat ears. Large pale orange eyes, almost level bite, broad nose with a good break, fat cheeks and a good chin. Plush coat of good length that stood out well from his body but very slightly harsh on the day. His undercoat was a lovely silver colour with silver furnishing to his ears. His black markings showed good spotting throughout his coat with a many ringed tail, clear legs bars and lovely facial markings. He had a lovely temperament and I gave him best longhair adult on the day. Female: 1st & CC TYSON’S PIPPAKITS LOU’S FLASHDANCE. (70 12a6ts) 24/06/10. Tortie Silver Tabby and White Exotic who although is a little small in stature is a good cobby shape with nice bone and a very short thick tail. She had a nicely shaped head with neat ears set well apart, round orange eyes, almost level bite, a short broad snub nose, well rounded cheeks and a strong chin. Her dense coat was not too soft with silver undercoat and large patches of black and red to her back. The white was mainly to her underneath, chest and whisker pads with some on her legs. The pattern on her body, where visible, was mackerel with lovely lines going down her sides and along her back. Lots of rings to her tail and clear facial markings.
AC Non Self Adult Male: 1 WALL’S IMP GR CH SHEERBLISS ENRICO. (70 31a) 14/04/07. Large Blue and White Bi-Colour Exotic male with a compact cobby shape to his body, strong bone and a short tail. Well rounded typy head with neat ears, round deep orange coloured eyes, broad nose with a good break, level bite, fat cheeks and firm chin. Soft and plush coat of good length that stood out well from his body. The mid blue was almost sound but his white was slightly stained around his eyes and mouth. He had a full blue tail, colour to all his legs, some blue on his tummy and a blue back. The white from his chest went up the right side onto his neck to form an incomplete collar. His all blue face was broken by a triangle of white placed to the middle but slightly towards the left of his face and went from his chin to just between his eyes. Wonderful temperament. Female: 1 TYSON’S PIPPAKITS LOU’S FLASHDANCE. (70 12a6ts) 24/06/10. 2. ROSS’ MYSBO SUMMER SOLSTICE. (10) 10/04/09. Chinchilla who lacked size and weight on the day but was a lovely cobby shape with nice bone and a very short tail. She had a round head with neat well furnished ears set well apart, large expressive deep blue-green coloured eyes, a broad nose with a deep break, an undershot bite, rounded cheeks but she lacked depth of chin. Her nose leather was deep brick red and she had clear pencilling lines around her eyes, nose and mouth. Her silky white coat was long and soft with medium tipping that was just a touch heavier on her back. She had a full ruff framing her face and almost no colouring to her feet except for her black paw pads. Beautiful temperament.
Ac Not Bred by Exhibitor Adult, Male: 1. WALL’S IGR CH SHEERBLISS GIFTWRAPPED. (70 30s) 01/11/08. Female: 1. THORNBURN’S CH COUNTRYGIRL LIPGLOSS. (8e) 11/04/06. Tortie Tabby with a large cobby shape to her body, strong bone and a tail length in proportion. Well rounded head with neat ears set well a part, a broad snub nose, round orange eyes, almost level bite, well rounded cheeks and a strong chin. Good coat length and texture with nice preparation. Her tabby markings on her body were not very evident due to the length of her coat but she had clear rings to her tail, bars on her legs and good facial markings. She had a coppery ground colour with black markings and this was all overlaid with a lot of deep red patches. 2. MATTHEWS’ CRUZ LITTLE STAR. (13b14) 12/08/10. Large Lilac Tabby Colourpoint with an excellent cobby shape to her body, very strong bone and a tail length in proportion. She had a round head with neat ears, pale blue eyes, a broad snub nose, well rounded cheeks and a strong chin. She had an undershot bite and couldn’t close her mouth completely. Her full soft coat had a clear magnolia white body colour and lilac markings on a pale beige agouti background colour. She did have some staining to her face but otherwise her coat was prepared very well.
Ac Senior Adult, Male: 2, 1ST WITHHELD. HOLDEN’S CH SIMBA SEABISCUIT. (3) 23/02/04 I don’t like having to withhold a first in a side class but the condition of the coat on the day was really lacking in preparation with bald patches and lots of knots. He was a nice cobby shape with strong bone and a tail length in proportion. Large round head with neat ears set well apart, pale orange eyes, a broad nose with a very deep break, an undershot bite, well rounded cheeks and a strong chin. His coat colour was mid blue and not sound. He was very nervous on the day.
Ac Breeders Kitten, Male: 1. MACKERETH’S PIPPAKITS BEAU GESTE. (70 12a1ts) 19/04/11. Lovely Black Silver Tabby & White Exotic boy with a good shape to his body, nice bone and a short tail. His round head has ears that could be neater at present, large round copper coloured eyes, very short broad nose, very slightly overshot bite, round cheeks but his chin needs to develop. His coat was soft and dense with good silver ground colour, clear black spotted tabby markings and clean white. He did have some slight tarnishing to his face and back right leg. His body was almost solid tabby with white to his legs, belly, chest and going up his face in a triangle to between his eyes. 3. 2ND WITHHELD. STEPHENSON’S TRIBALIFE CARDE DIEM. (70 13b7) 23/04/11. Cream Colourpointed Exotic whose body was a good shape with nice bone a tail length in proportion. His soft plush coat stood out well from his body and showed a creamy white body colour with darker cream points. At the moment his head is completely unbalanced and he has a marked head bump, a very overshot bite with the bottom jaw not in the correct alignment. His eyes, although a good blue colour actually appeared to be different sizes and he lacked cheeks but he had a good depth of chin. Female: 1. STEPHENSON’S TRIBALIFE DEVILMADEMEDOIT. (70 13b7) 23/04/11. Litter sister to the last kitten and so different in type. Cream Colourpointed Exotic with a lovely cobby shape to her body, good bone and a tail length in proportion. Well rounded head with neat ears, short broad snub nose, level bite, round eyes of two-tone blue at present, slightly pinched cheeks and a good chin. Her coat was soft and plush with a nice creamy white body colour but her cream points were a little dark.
Ac Maiden Kitten, Male: 1. GRUBB’S BEECHBRAE EDDY SCISSORPAWS. (10) 07/04/11. Chinchilla male who was small but beautifully formed and so cute! Compact cobby shape to his body with short legs, good bone and a short tail. His round head had good width between neat ears, round green eyes, almost level bite, broad nose with a good break, nicely rounded cheeks and a good chin. His long coat was soft and silky with a light dusting of black tipping on his back. His coat would have benefited from more preparation on his belly and a cleaner face. His nose was a good brick red colour and he had clear black lines around his eyes, nose and mouth with black paw pads.
Ac Senior Neuter, Male: 1. WHITE’S IGR CH & UK IGR PR MARDIGRAS THECANDY MANCAN (12a7) MN 07/03/05. Cream and White Bi-Colour male of excellent size, shape, weight and bone with a tail length in proportion. He has a lovely mature head with lots of width between neat ears, round orange eyes, very broad nose with a lovely break, a narrow level bite with the top set very concave, fat cheeks and a strong chin. His full coat was groomed to perfection with sound pale cream and clean white. He had colour to all his legs, a cream tail with the colour going up his back a little way, small patches of colour to the back of his neck and head. The cream to his forehead was divided down the middle by an almost complete thin patch of white. I have judged this boy many times before and it was a great pleasure to award him best overall longhair at the show and I understand that he went on to be overall best exhibit. Congratulation to his owner. 2. MANNING’S GR CH CHAKEL BORNTOBEWILD. (1) 07/05/05. Black male of good size with excellent bone and a tail length in proportion. He has a good round head with neat ears, round deep orange eyes, almost level bite, broad snub nose, round cheeks and a good depth of chin. His full coat is a little woolly in texture but is a dense black and sound to the roots, only a small amount of rust colour to his full ruff. Lovely temperament.
