Many thanks to Veda and Betty for the invitation - the Teeside always holds very good memories for me from the past and showing and it is lovely to come back and judge. I had some quality cats.

Cinnamon Point Female Adult
1st CC W/H Helms Tilden Tintofcin 24K F 30.01.09
Lovely rich colouring to this lady - she was clearly in full call and therefore it was difficult to get her to relax. Medium wedge with rather a blunt muzzle with visible pinch. Uneven profile with a chin that could have more depth. Her eyes were sore and pink rimmed and they were a mid blue and lacked true oriental shape and set. Messy bite with teeth missing and sore gums. Elegant limbs and whip tail needs an inch for balance. Super almost unshaded coat that was rather dry and open and a bit long down the spine. Spicy cinnamon points looking well matched and even . Not in top condition today and for me that is a basic so together with her type issues I am afraid I felt she was not of CC standard.

Very shy lady hiding away under her blankets and really not wanting to be out of the pen. Shorter wedge with largish ears fairly well set. Almost straight profile with fimish chin and level bite. Oriental eyes of a mid blue. Feminine body with dainty limbs and paws. Darker blue points cool toned with a shaded coat that again was fairly cool toned. Sweet lady just warranting the BOB today.

Handsome senior gent of superior type and style with the most superb nature. Medium wedge with large well set ears and gorgeous eyes of a mid blue with the loveliest expression. Lilac Based caramel points all well matched with good depth and sludge tones. Slightly long coat a shade dry but he was presented beautifully ad yearned to be cuddled; it was a pleasure to award him the BOB.

Attractive lady with textbook points colour and sweet temperament looked a bit out of sorts today and had slightly sore looking eyes. Missing out to seniority today.

Attractive boy of very good type and style with medium wedge and large well set ears. Oriental green eyes of good colour and setting. Almost straight profile with firm chin and level bite. 60 % white to 40% colour it must be said that the colour i felt was more akin to apricot as it showed a distinct burnished colour with too much depth and warmth to the colour to be cream i would imagine that he would be better registered as a 40 38FN . Super temperament and lovely condition. He displays elegant body type with long limbs and whip tail to balance.

Gorgeous type to this young man but on the day he displayed less than the minimum 30% white to colour and as such he was marked down accordingly. Medium wedge with super large flared wide set ears with long straight profile with firm chin and level bite.Ticked base colour even and showing good warmth to the brown with clear black ticking. Oriental eyes of a pale green with good expression. Long strong elegant body with fine limbs and whip tail to balance.

Huge handsome senior gent of very good type and style somewhat blurred by his extended waistline but he looks very good. Shaded coat in a really good caramel tone with gorgeous green eyes. Caramel shaded coat with clear shading along his torso and clear M and leg bars with clear metallic tones. Super boy in lovely condition.

Stylish youngster of very good type longer wedge a shade narrow with rather deep set eyes of a medium green rather than the bright vivid green preferred in the standard. Dark brown coat fairly sound needing a shade more warmth. Handsome cat

Handsome male rather shy but terribly sweet and of very good overall type and style. Lovely expression and well developed masculine look with super top and ear flare, slightly full oriental eyes of a good colour blue. Almost straight profile with firm chin and level bite. Long muscular body with long limbs and whip tail to balance. Dark seal brown points with slightly shaded coat of good length a shade dry to touch. Lovely boy well presented. Shame he doesn't have more self belief.

Super stylish boy a looking a bit immature next to his stable mate Super stop and look slightly bonneted ears with almost straight profile with oriental eyes of a good colour and super expression. His nose rather overshoots his chin and his muzzle is a shade fine at present giving him a slightly unbalance look. Gorgeous coat of super texture and almost unshaded. Whip tail and long elegant limbs. Sweet temperament. Lost out to me one overall balance and maturity today. Warm Brown seal brown points well matched very warm beige coat looking very attractive against his warm seal points. Fabulous presentation.

Handsome boy looking a shade out of sorts today patchy mask and rather honest expression. He was rather uneasy out of the pen and i guess he was feeling his hormones. Good coat quality and lovely size and substance.

Balance lady in very good condition. Short strong wedge needing slightly larger ears and more flare. Shorter body needing to show more refinement and style. Lovely eyes for colour. Cooler seal brown points and a cool beige coat needing more warmth for me.

Well grown miss needing to show more red mingling in her dark warm chocolate tortie. Rather full eyes of good colour. Large strong body with dainty limbs and tail that ideally needs an inch for balance.

1st Helms Velvetena Fawntocaptivate 24R F 19.08.10 Initially quite attractive miss but with a few minor glitches today. Longer wedge looking a bit angular with a fine muzzle. Large well set ears with almost straight profile with slightly shallow chin and level bite oriental eyes of a mid blue that i would prefer deeper in colour. Warm fawn point well matched and with a rosy hue which is most attractive. Clear coat a shade long and a bit dry to the touch.

Rather immature for her age and looking out of sorts today . Oriental eyes of a mid blue that i would prefer darked for a seal and a bit sore today. Very brindled cool toned seal brown mask with spectacles today. Long strong well developed body with long limbs and whip tail with slight deviation at tip. Cool toned beige coat with some shading a bit long and open.

1st Samphiers Flutterby Phineas 32 10 M 08.08.10 Handsome boy very stylish looking very mature and very masculine already for his tender years. Longer wedge with large well set ears that i would prefer a smidge bigger for perfection. Almost straight profile with firm chin and level bite. Oriental eyes of good colour and expression. Long strong muscular body with long limbs and whip tail to balance. Well developed apricot tabby points looking more burnished out of the pen with M and smudged ribbons with leg bars and tail rings. Handsome youngster.

Gorgeous chap only young but lovely type and style with a composed and calm demeanour. Lovely head type with huge flared ears set widely on his head super eyes for expression and colour with firm chin and level bite, almost straight profile. Reddish gold point developing well with warm white coat with coat that was a shade dry and slightly open probably excitement as he was pleased to come out of the pen. Lovely boy
