Mrs S Lorton-Hobbs
I had a lovely weekend, judging some super cats, Les Hall stewarded for me and what a good chap he is! I popped across to Cheshire after the show to stay with “other half” Tony who lives just outside Chester, lucky thing! I was very honoured to be asked to judge the Burmese BOV’s adult, kitten and neuter. I chose Sally Giles’ CH RAWEKE IN HIGH DEFINITION, lilac female, who is just beautiful! My kitten was, Sandra Bridges CHAMSTRAW CRUZIN’Ona super promising chap! And my neuter was Sandra Bridges UK IMP GR CH & GR PR ADTREBU TRINITY she is “THE” most stunning brown cat, looked an absolute picture, withering expression but excellent temperament, my choice for Overall BOV Burmese.
BLACK SILVER TABBY ADULT
BOB ONLY: I had 3 cats for the BOB, A super large masculine and very well built cat with excellent type and pattern called Ch Skidoodsh Magnus aged 2yrs 5 mths, but he has a lot of fawning around his head and neck. The other male was Gr Ch Leonitara Prince-Charming who is a good size but was rangy today and I would prefer much larger eyes underneath his slightly heavy brow he is the same age.
BOB went to: BEST’S GR CH LEONITARA SWEETHEART This lass has an excellent pattern, good jet black and has a super contrast to even silver ground. Just some fatty tissue underbelly but otherwise a super cat indeed.
AOC SILVER TABBY ADULT
BOB ONLY: I had 2 cats to choose from, KIDD’S GR CH CATYKES EDWINSON a Big strapping male, not yet fully mature at 2yrs 4mths, nice shade of blue and clean silver pattern and KIDD’S CH CATYKES KIMMARCHANT a 3yr old female who had a brindled pattern today, needed more weight and her bite is acceptable.
BOB awarded to KIDD’S GR CH CATYKES EDWINSON
1ST PC & BOB TEATHER’S ADECISH LILAC ECLIPSE 19.12.09 Quite a big lad, with nice body substance and bone, tad rangy at present, neesds to grow into himself and fill his frame out. His head is fairly rounded, slightly large ears set fairly well apart, large round pale gold eyes, more deeper colour preferred for correctness. Short straight nose, level bite, v=chin of medium depth but slopes back. Cheeks fair. His coat is a tad long, fraction soft, should be crisper and more dense. It is also too pale to the roots and a cold lilac in this hall lighting, hopefully in natural light he has a pinky tone. I gave him the benefit of doubt today regarding his colour and awarded the PC on the general look.
BLACK SILVER TABBY NEUTER
BOB ONLY: AWARDED TO BEST’S PR LEONITARA SILVER SUKI . 9.2.07 Rather unhappy today, nice face and eye colour, just a pity about the coat today.
