Thanks to Celia and her team for the invite to the Short-Haired Cat Society Show and to Lynda Ashmore for the Rex and Korat classes. I was a little apprehensive about how the joint show would work but I managed to find all the cats without any difficulty and the catalogue was well thought out if a little difficult to read with the small typeface. I didn’t have a booked steward but Heather Boucher came to my rescue and managed to steward for me as well as judging non-pedigrees and attending an AGM in the afternoon! Thanks for all your help Heather it was much appreciated.
SHORT-HAIRED CAT SOCIETY
OPEN CLASSES
RUSSIAN BLUE ADULT MALE:
1ST CC BOND-WONEBERGER’S FURBELL STARGAZER (16a) M 03.03.08. A young boy, only just an adult but well-grown & of a good weight for his size. His head reflects his immaturity but he has a lovely Russian expression. Flat skull, short wedge & good angle. Very slight dip to the profile, level bite but his chin could be deeper and falls off a fraction at the tip. Lovely prominent whisker pads. Large vertically set ears and almond-shaped eyes that are set a touch deep. Long well-fed body with elegant limbs & oval paws. Moderately long tail that tapers nicely but is rather thick at the base. Dense coat, very soft & fine, double and plushy. Medium blue with a well-developed silvery sheen & sound to the roots. A gentle lad who was easy to handle. A promising young man!
2 SEDGWICK’S CATWO KORLYA (16a) M 27.11.07. A large boy of only 13 months, young but very well-grown. Head with a flat skull, short wedge & good angle & profile. Deep chin that rounds off a touch, bite
acceptable but verging on being under. Prominent whisker pads. Very large ears with a broad base but they are set a fraction wide and he tends to flare them. Large almond-shaped eyes of a pale but clear green colour. Long well-grown body with elegant limbs but rather thick tail. Fine coat, double and reasonably soft though it could be plushier. Medium blue colour with a silvery sheen. He wasn’t keen on the other cats and had a bit of a grumble but was OK to handle.
RUSSIAN BLUE ADULT FEMALE:
1 CC NOBLE’S CH TROIKA NIJINSKA (16a) F 15.11.06. A sweet girl of 2 years who looks young for her age. Lovely Russian expression, she has a sweet gentle look. Flat skull, short wedge & good angle and profile. Level bite & shallow but firm chin. Prominent whisker pads. Large ears set vertically to the head & emerald green eyes of almond shape. Elegant body though she could do with a little more weight, perhaps she has been calling? Elegant limbs with small oval paws. Long tapering tail. Double coat, plushy & dense on the shoulders but a little thinner on the lower back, a fraction long but with a soft fine texture. Medium blue and sound to the roots plus a silvery sheen though slightly uneven at present.
BOB FLEMING’S CH SHOELINA NINA MILKINA (16a) F 23.03.07. A very friendly girl of nearly 2 years who loves to lick & nibble! Lovely Russian expression though her head is a fraction long overall. Flat skull & good angle to the profile, prominent whisker pads and level bite. Large upright ears & large greeny coloured eyes of almond shape and set wide apart. Very elegant, she shows herself very well on the table. Long muscular body with long limbs and tail to balance. Double coat of medium blue with a silvery sheen, her coat is perhaps not at its best at present and could be a fraction softer. Her maturity and overall balance won her the Best of Breed award.
SNOW MARBLED BENGAL ADULT MALE:
1 IC BOB ZICCARDI’S SPOTTICATZ MARMO MAGNIFICO (76b 20) M 01.04.08. A young blue-eyed boy who is only just adult but well-grown with a strong muscular body. Broad masculine head slightly longer than wide with a large nose & rounded muzzle that could be a little broader. Rounded chin & level bite, slight curve to the profile. Well-set ears with a broad base & rounded tips. Large oval-shaped eyes of a lovely clear blue though they could be deeper in colour. Strong muscular body with a broad chest & thick neck; limbs & tail to balance. Soft dense coat with beige markings on an ivory base. Distinct marbled pattern though it could flow a little more and is rather symmetrical. Lovely clear head markings, well-marked limbs with spots & bars & ringed tail with a dark tip. Spotty tummy & pearl dusting showing. Shown in lovely condition though he had wet underparts due to a water spill. A happy chap with a gentle nature.
SNOW MARBLED BENGAL ADULT FEMALE:
1 IC STORER’S NITEO SIBERIAN BLUE (76b 20) F 03.05.07. A smallish girl of 1½ years who needs to mature and fill out. Head a medium wedge longer that wide with a feminine look. Rather tall ears with teeny tufts though broad at the base, well-set and not too large. Large eyes, a little full (mood?) but of a stunning deep blue colour. Long body that needs to fill out & muscle up. Limbs to balance. Moderately long tail of reasonable thickness & slightly tapering. Soft & reasonably dense coat with a warm colour to the base coat. Marbled pattern with an asymmetrical pattern & horizontal flow but it could be clearer down the spine where there is some ticking showing. The scarab marking could be more complex but spotted tummy & ringed tail with a dark tip. She was a little shy but not a problem to handle.
KORAT KITTEN, MALE:
1 BOB EDWARDS’S MOESI SILVER TIPPY TOES (34) M 14.07.08. A well-grown cuddly boy of 5½ months. Heart-shaped head with good width between & across the eyes; rounded muzzle that needs to broaden. Large flat forehead, slight stop to the profile plus a nose bump. Level bite but his chin could be a fraction stronger. Well-set ears with rounded tips and a broad base. Wide open luminous eyes though they could a little larger for the full effect. Eyes amber in colour with a slight green ring around the pupil & obviously still developing. Well-grown semi-cobby body with elegant limbs & tapering tail of medium length. Lovely coat quality; single fine & close-lying. Of a darker blue at present, the silver tipping mainly limited to the extremities as yet. Some faint tabby markings on the body & more noticeable tail rings. A sweet lad shown in lovely condition.
BROWN MARBLED BENGAL KITTEN, FEMALE:
1 BOB AHMED’S ACHARAYA CANT TOUCH THIS (76 20) F 14.06.08. A well-grown young girl of 6½ months. Head a medium wedge, longer than wide and it needs to fill out on the muzzle. Shallow but very strong chin and level bite. Moderately large but rather tall ears with a broad base & rounded tips. Large eyes of a good green colour for her age, oval in shape & set on a slant. Long body of a good weight for her size with muscular limbs to balance. Moderately long, tapering tail that could be a little thicker. Soft, reasonably dense coat with black & brown markings on a golden base, paler colour on the underparts. Well-marked limbs & spotted tummy. Bold chin strap & distinct necklaces. She didn’t like her neighbours
but was OK to handle.
RUSSIAN BLUE NEUTER:
1 PC NOBLE’S GR PR LARKSONG LUKOSHKA (16a) MN 10.02.04. An elegant boy of 4 years. Head a fraction long overall & his wedge could be a little shorter. Quite prominent whisker pads. Level bite but his nose goes over his chin a little. Large vertically-set ears & almond-shaped green eyes set wide apart. Long elegant body with long limbs & long tapering tail to balance. Coat probably not at its best, double but it could be softer and is a touch long. Medium blued with a silvery sheen though slightly darker down the spine, a few faint tail rings. Gentle nature & easy to handle though he preferred to be cuddled. Just good enough for a certificate at present.

Reasonably large ears set vertically to the head & almond-shaped eyes of a good green colour & set wide apart if a fraction deep. Long muscular body with long limbs & oval paws; long tapering tail. Coat a fraction long but dense, double & plushy. Even colour of medium blue with a silvery sheen. Gentle nature & easy to handle.
2 BANDY’S GR CH & PR TROIKA MARIA MOREVNA (16a) FN 08.06.00. A sweet gentle girl of 8 years. Head slightly rounded though her fur being a little long at present doesn’t help. Flat skull, short wedge & prominent whisker pads. Level bite with lovely teeth. Quite large ears set vertically to the head. Almond-
shaped eyes of a good green colour for her age. Long body with limbs & tail to balance. Lovely coat texture, soft & dense though it is a little long. Medium blue colour with a well-developed silvery sheen but with a darker colour down the spine. Easy to handle.

Medium ears set wide apart & large eyes of oval shape & of a deep blue colour. Long powerful body with muscular limbs of medium length. Tail a touch long & could be thicker. Soft dense coat with a distinct marbled pattern with some horizontal flow but it could be more asymmetrical. Spotted tummy & ringed tail with a dark tip. Pearl dusting in evidence. A C Burmese Imperial Grand Champion, Male: One cat present. ImpGCC. MATTHEWS’S CR CH KATCHYN COCO LOCO. 17/2/06. Mature handsome boy of good overall type and with a distinctly masculine look. Long slender lithe body is of very good weight and substance, feeling firm and muscular; straight back, gently rounded chest and slender shapely limbs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge, further accentuated by well developed jowls, slightly rounded top between well spaced medium ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. Very slight curve to brow, very good break, straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Coat is fine and of medium length, close lying and with a very good satiny texture for a working boy, in super condition with a glossy shine. Warm rich rather dark milk chocolate is even in tone overall although a little pale towards the roots; just slightly lighter and uneven in tone up the tail. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and is a fraction short to balance. Shy boy, quiet and slightly apprehensive out on the table, more relaxed and very sweet natured in his pen. I forgave him the slightly uneven coat colour because of the time of year and variable weather; he has a super Burmese expression!

A V Rex Imperial Grand Champion, Female: Two cats entered. IMPGCC. SHEPHERD’S GR CH LORRENTINO LADYGUINEVERE. Black Smoke Devon Rex. 27/7/04. Mature attractive girl of good overall type, but not at all happy to see me today. Slender long well filled body is firm and muscular and of very good weight and substance, gently rounded chest and slender elegant well shaped limbs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms short broad wedge with good width to high cheeks and breadth to short quite strong muzzle showing defined whisker break and with long curled whiskers. Quite large wide based ears are of good shape and spaced well apart, set fairly low, but could be just a touch lower for perfection; very modest muffs and tiny tufts at tips. Flat skull curves forward at brow, good stop, short nose and level chin of reasonably good depth. Large lustrous rounded almond shaped eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant to give typical “wicked” expression. Untidy bite, but level. Well covered with fine silky coat, good curl to hairs gives regular shallow waves, but which can be felt, on back, sides and lower flanks, rather straight on upper flanks and along length of spine; rexing on head and down chest although a little sparse on throat, shallow ripples down legs, fine down on tummy and very loose waves along tail. Tail tapers evenly to finer tip; length is a fraction short to balance. Very unwilling to be handled and assessed, but calm and settled quickly when returned to her pen. 2. Res IMPGCC withheld. DESOLLA’S UK & IMP GR CH INDASIA MIRISKIA. In my book as a Blue Smoke Cornish Rex, but appeared to be a Blue Self. 28/5/03. Attractive girl, mature and of very pleasing type. Long slender body is firm and well muscled, of good weight with elegant foreign boning, gently rounded chest and standing tall on slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head shows medium wedge with good breadth to slightly pointed muzzle and high cheek-bones, long curled whiskers. Fairly large ears are broad at the base and cupped, however it was difficult to get her to hold them high enough on her head and she persisted in holding them just a little too low and slightly flared. Large lustrous oval eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart straight brows. Flat skull curves forward at brow, slight dip in profile line to nose, chin is just level and needs more depth. Well covered with fine silky coat, quite dense overall with gentle curl to hairs giving regular shallow waves on sides and flanks which can just about be felt, broad strip of straight hairs along back, ripples across shoulders, shallow ripples down legs, rexing on head and chest and well covered tummy; loose waves along tail. Tail tapers evenly to fine end and is short to balance. Very relaxed and sweet natured with a soft purr. Sorry to withhold, but this is a very prestigious award and her low ear set in particular, coupled with relative lack of wave and a few other minor faults, ruled her out today.
Devon Rex Grand Premier, Male: One cat entered. 1. GPC withheld. HALL’S PR JONSCOT ZAZU. Blue Smoke & White Devon Rex. 16/9/07. Large handsome boy of very pleasing type. Long slender body is of good size, weight and substance, firm and muscular with straight back, gently rounded chest and slender shapely legs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Head shows short broad wedge with good high cheeks and breadth to quite strong muzzle with defined whisker break and long curled whiskers and eye-brows. Large almond shaped eyes are set wide apart and at a slight slant to give typical expression. Flat skull curves forward to brow, good stop, straight nose is a fraction long; chin recedes slightly and needs more depth. Well covered with fine silky coat, good density overall, except for tail, and with gentle curl to hairs giving very shallow ripples visible on back, sides and flanks, but which I couldn’t feel, hairs are almost straight along spine-line, slight ripples across shoulders and very slight curl to hairs on lower back, slight ripples at tops of legs, plush lower down, rexing down chest, fine down on throat and tummy; very loose waves on tail and a some harsh guard hairs near base. Tail is of good shape, tapering to finer end and is a fraction short to balance. Talkative boy, friendly and contented.

Very pretty girl of good size and weight for just over four months and of very promising type. Balanced slender body is firm, lithe and well muscled with level back, gently rounded chest and slim elegant shapely legs ending in neat oval feet in proportion. Head shows short wide wedge, quite blunt in the muzzle with very gently rounded top and well spaced medium large ears of good shape. Large lustrous warm yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. Very gentle curve to brow, very good break, short straight nose and level chin of fairly good depth. Medium length coat is fine and of good satiny texture for a kitten of this age, in beautiful condition with a gleaming shine. Warm even pale dove grey, very slight pinkish cast just discernible in hall light. Tail tapers evenly to finer “paintbrush” tip and length just balances. Delightful temperament, confident and very affectionate. 2. WILSON’S MAHARANI VANITY FAIR. 27/7/08. Another very attractive Lilac lass, a few months old and of good overall type, she ran the winner close in this class. Slender long body is of very good size and weight, feeling firm and well muscled and of very good substance; straight back, correctly rounded chest and slender well shaped limbs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms short wide wedge, quite blunt in the muzzle, with gently rounded top between well spaced medium large ears, broad at the base and of good shape. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical Burmese expression. In profile has good depth to skull with very gentle curve to brow, very good break, nose leather falls away at tip, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Fine medium length coat lies very close to the body and has silky smooth texture, in lovely condition with a glossy shine. Warm pale milk chocolate, noticeably darker richer tone to mask and ears in contrast. Tail tapers to finer rounded tip and almost balances. Good natured girl and talkative. 3. WRIGGLESWORTH SYKRIS AKHENATEN. 3/7/08.
Brown, Blue, Chocolate or Lilac Burmese Kitten, M or F: Five kittens entered. 1. WILSON’S MAHARANI VANITY FAIR. 2. MOORE’S DULCAMARA ANNABELINDA. 24/7/08. Attractive girl who is developing well, good size and weight for age and of very pleasing type. Long slender body is lithe and elegant, feeling firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and slender elegant well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Short wide wedge-shaped head has slightly rounded top between well spaced medium large broad based ears of good shape. Large lustrous rich golden yellow eyes are of very good shape and set wide apart to give typical expression. Very gentle curve to brow, good break, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Fine coat is of medium length, a touch long on the back but very close lying with a smooth satiny texture, in super condition with a glossy shine. Rich warm sable brown, even in tone. Tail tapers evenly to “paintbrush” tip and just balances. Playful girl, lively and affectionate. 3. COLIN’S AUREUS SWEET JULIET. 30/9/08.
A V Asian Radius Kitten: One kitten entered. Wrong Colour. PASHLER’S ADATESH COOLIAS EDUSA. 4/6/08. In my book as a Blue Self, but in fact a Blue Asian Variant. Lively alert young man and very confident. Long slender body is of very good size and weight, firm and well muscled with gently rounded chest and elegant slender legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Short wedge lacks width at cheeks and is rather fine in the muzzle. Medium large broad based ears are of good shape and correctly spaced when he is relaxed and settled. Large expressive warm yellow chartreuse eyes are of good shape and set wide apart. Very slight curve to brow, good break, nose is straight, although rather long, chin is level and needs more depth. Medium coat is fine, a little long on the back, but lies close, good satiny texture and in very good condition with gleaming sheen. Warm medium blue grey colour with slightly fawnish overtone, slightly darker in tone on face and ears, confirms for me that he is Burmese colour restriction and not a Blue Self. Tail is of good shape and length just balances. Friendly boy, relaxed and easy to judge.
Korat Visitors Adult, Male or Female: Three cats entered. 1. JEFFERS’S GR CH MAIPENRAI TAO LUCY. 9/4/04. Attractive girl of good overall type, mature and well balanced. Slender compact body is of good weight and substance, feeling firm with well developed muscle tone; gentle curve to spine, correctly rounded chest and slender well shaped legs ending in neat oval paws in proportion. Head forms balanced heart shape when viewed from the front with good width to cheeks and breadth to gently rounded muzzle, forehead is broad and flat between broad based medium sized ears of good shape held correctly high when she settled in her pen. Lovely large lustrous eyes are of very good shape, held well open and set wide apart to give typical alert expression, colour is mid-green with just a very slight yellowish cast to outer edge of each iris. In profile has good depth of skull, slight stop and nose slopes down, chin is just level and of fairly good depth. Fine close lying coat is of medium length, silky smooth in texture and in superb condition with a gleaming sheen. Colour is medium to dark blue grey, even in tone with good silvery tipping, especially around head and ears. Tail is of good shape, heavier at the base and tapering evenly to rounded tip, length just balances. Slightly apprehensive out on the table, calmer and very sweet natured and affectionate back in her bed. CH JENANCA LONE STAR. 5/9/07. Mature handsome lad of good overall type, nicely balanced and looking distinctly masculine. Compact slender semi-cobby body is of very good weight and substance, feeling hard and muscular to the touch; spine shows gentle natural curve, gently rounded chest and slender shapely limbs ending in compact oval paws in proportion. Heart-shape to face with very good width to cheeks accentuated by jowls, and good breadth to gently rounded muzzle; forehead is broad and flat. Medium large broad based ears are of very good shape with rounded tips, set high on head to give alert stance. Lovely large luminous eyes are of very good shape, held well open and set wide apart, colour is green with a hint of yellow cast at present. Flat brow, slight stop, nose is short and slopes down, chin is level and of fairly good depth. Fine, close lying coat is medium in length with a smooth silky texture; shown in superb condition and displaying a gleaming shine. Darkish blue grey colour is even in tone with good silvery tipping. Tail is heavier at base and tapers evenly to finer tip; length is a fraction short to balance. Noisy boy who was a little upset, I felt he was probably just a bit fed up after a long day, not particularly difficult to handle. 3. COLLAR’S JENANCA BLUE BONNY. 4/2/08.

AV ASIAN GRAND CHAMPION – FEMALE
IGR CC SELLMAN’S GR CH KINABALU SWEET SAPPHIRE (72). Good size, weight and
muscle to this girl. Slightly rotund in the body, proportionate limbs, shapely tail to balance.
Short, wide, blunt wedge, gently rounded top of head, well rounded brow. Distinct profile break,
level, strong chin, correct bite. Well shaped and set bright green eyes of pleasing size. Neat ears
of good shape and set. Glossy, jet black coat, silk like in texture, a touch long for total perfection.
A lovely girl with a superb “look” when she sat relaxing in her pen.
RES IGR CC W/H BRADLEY’S GR CH KAMEHAHD TICKETY BOO (72 45) Elegant girl of
good skeletal size. Muscular though feels like she needs some more weight, to me she felt like a
girl who had recently been calling? Good shape to body, slim limbs with dainty spoon shaped
paws. Balancing tail, slightly thick at the root. Short, rather narrow wedge, particularly at the
muzzle, nicely rounded top of head and brow. Very good nose break, level, firm chin, correct
bite. Good size, shape and set to eyes which unfortunately were orange/copper in tone, not a
colour permitted in the standard. Well set and shaped ears, which she is inclined to bonnet.
Lovely coat for length and texture, very well ticked with black on a warm deep mushroom
basecoat. Clear ‘M’ to forehead, thumb prints to ears, darker spine line, bracelets to limbs, rings
to tail, solid colour tail tip. Very sweet natured, sorry to withhold but this girl had too many
small faults for me to award.
AV ASIAN GRAND PREMIER – MALE
IGR PC W/H ELDRIDGE’S GR PR FRILFORD FUSILIER (72 43s). Large, well fed chap,
proportionate limbs, tail of good shape though a touch short to balance. Short wedge showing
good width at the cheek bones though muzzle appears pointed, flat top of head and brow. Good
profile break, level, firm chin, correct bite. Good size, shape and set to yellow toned eyes. Well
set ears, a touch small for perfection. Slightly long coat, especially around base of tail. Even
shading to bright silver undercoat, ‘M’ to forehead, clear pencilling to cheers, darker spine line,
bracelets to limbs, good colour up hocks, rings to tail, coloured tail tip. Good tempered and easy
to handle. Sorry to withhold on this boy, but for me Imperial means as near to perfect as possible
and unfortunately this boy had too many small faults for the virtual perfection that the Imperial
deserves.
AV ASIAN CHAMPION - MALE
GR CC W/H 1ST TROTTER’S CH CORVUS INTREPID (72). Tubby, wriggly boy of good
skeletal size, shapely limbs, balancing tail. Short, wide wedge, gently rounded top of head, well
rounded brow. Defined break to slightly long nose with roll of at leather, level chin of good
depth, correct bite, which I saw first hand as he tried to sink his teeth into my hand! Good size
and shape to gold toned eyes, slightly deep set. Short, slightly open, sound black coat showing a
touch of scurf and some white hairs to neck. Sorry to withhold but his bad mood today, together
with his slight faults precluded his award. Really not happy to be out of his pen and let us know
in no uncertain terms.
RES GR CC W/H 2ND LAUGHER’S GR CH LOHR AZTEC CAMERA (72 43bsq). Good
skeletal size to this boy, though very slender in the flanks, acceptable muscle tone, could use a
touch more weight. Shapely limbs, balancing tail. Short wedge of reasonable width, rounded top
of head and brow. Acceptable break to slightly long nose, level chin of reasonable depth, correct
bite. Good size to rather obliquely set green toned eyes. Shapely ears, set a touch high. Short,
close lying coat of good texture, bright silver undercoat shaded with BCR chocolate. ‘M’ to
forehead, pencilling to cheeks, darker spine line, colour up hocks, solid colour tail tip. Good
temperament, very easy to handle.
AV Asian Premier – Female
GR PC STEEL’S PR ABBUREX PREEMADONNA (72 45q). Girl of rather matronly build,
good skeletal size, elegant limbs with neat spoon shaped paws, tail good for shape, just balances.
Short, wide wedge, gently rounded top of head, well rounded brow. Very good nose break, level
chin of fair depth, correct bite. Expressive green toned eyes very well set. Good size and set to
well shaped ears. Close lying coat of pleasing texture, well ticked with very dark BCR brown on
a cool mushroom toned undercoat. Correct ‘M’ to forehead, pencilling to cheeks, thumb prints to
ears, darker spine line, good colour up hocks, solid colour tail tip. Good natured girl who I’m
pleased to say I later discovered made Grand with this award, well done to her owner/breeder!
ASIAN SMOKE OR BURMILLA NEUTER
BOB DEW’S GR PR LOHR JOLENE (72 43nq). Well grown, feminine girl, showing
proportionate body and limbs, correct tail to balance. Short, wide wedge, rounded top and brow.
Good profile break, level chin of fair depth, correct bite. Good shape and size to well set eyes,
yellow/green in tone. Shapely ears, well set. Lovely short, close lying coat, shaded with BCR
caramel over a warm pale mushroom basecoat. ‘M’ to forehead, slight pencilling to cheeks,
slightly darker spine line, good colour up hocks, which show a particularly good metallic sheen,
solid colour tail tip. Delightful temperament, talkative in a really lovely way!
My thanks to Lynda as show manager for the combined smaller shows, I hope the experiment worked as well behind the scenes as it appeared to from my position, where things ran smoothly, my book was easy to work out between all the shows & I had some very good exhibits in each. Many thanks to Haden for stewarding, though a relative novice he handled the cats well.
ASIAN IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER FEMALE:
IMP GR PR Not Awarded 1 DEW’S GR PR LOHR JOLENE 72 43nq 22-07-06. BCR Caramel Shaded Burmilla, in many ways a pleasing mature balanced lady but lacking in my opinion the extra impact that this level of certificate was meant to be about. Her head is of slightly more medium length than short, reasonably wide wedge, the muzzle could be a little blunter, head rounds well, fair break, slight nose bump, chin ebbs a little, bite good. Ears medium size, set quite well apart, tips rounded, touch of forward tilt. Eyes quite large, a fraction more rounded than I would have preferred requiring a little more defined shape, light green colour, line of caramel round the rim. Body mature & well proportioned, with quite slim legs, neat paws, slightly broader base to the medium length tail, rounded on its tip. Her coat though close lying was a little on the long side, the texture very good. Subtle facial markings, paler spectacle area beneath the eyes, with some denser skullcap on the brow, her coat was a little uneven in the shading with a deeper line of colour along her back & extending down her tail, solid coloured tip, the body was showing quite heavy shading of toffee taupe on quite a warm undercoat, darker markings of sludgy taupe on the heels. Her condition was excellent & she has such a gentle composed temperament.
AV ASIAN KITTEN UNDER 6 MONTHS:
1 TROTTER’S TROTKATZ CHOCOLATE ROBIN 72b 13-07-08. Chocolate Self, I confess it was only when I got home & read my notes that I realised this lad was very nearly 6 months of age, that being so he is extremely ( & I mean extremely) small & needs a real spurt of development if he is to catch up. His actual type is very good, having a short wide wedge, good blunted muzzle, rounded top, well defined break, slight rise on the nose, good chin but the bite a little undershot. Ears medium size, set well, rounded tips, gentle tilt. Eyes could have a little more definite curve on the lower line, green in colour. Body small & needs to be far better grown than is the case, proportionate legs & paws, tail slightly short of shoulder, rounded tip. Coat appeared to have been plucked having a very baby softer fluffier coat over the body as whole whereas the plucked areas had grown a short close darker chocolate glossy texture. It was quite late in the day & I did not call the DV but I was a little concerned as he appeared to tilt his head a little to the left when handled but it was in all possibility that he was just so completely relaxed. Extremely fussy little chap.
AV ASIAN KITTEN OVER 6 MONTHS: Almost like two peas in a pod, little to choose between & could so easily go either way.
1 RICE’S CORVUS CELESTIAL 72b 24-05-08. Chocolate Self, an attractive young lady of very good type & looks promising. Head has the typical short wide, blunt wedge as per SOP’s, top well rounded & with a good break, short nose, chin & bite good. Her ears are medium size & set well apart, round on the tips, touch of forward tilt. Eyes have a very attractive bright deep golden tone, shape well defined, lovely expression. The body firm & possessing good weight & tone, with slender limbs, neat paws, well proportioned tail with round tip, slightly short of shoulder. Well prepared reasonably short coat which was close lying & beautifully prepared, with sleek satin like finish. The colour though perhaps a little dark still has a pleasing degree of warmth for a chocolate & it was also by Asian standards relatively sound (rarely the case in chocolates), it is also even tone throughout. Her condition was excellent, a very composed young lady.
2 RICE’S CORVUS EUPHORIA 72b 24-05-08. Chocolate Self an attractive young lady of very good type & looks promising (an intentional repeat of wording), the wedge again typical of her breed, short & wide, good blunted muzzle, top rounds well, break not quite so well defined as her sister, short nose, good chin & level bite. Ears medium size, touch of tilt forward rounded tips, set well. Eyes have a pleasing shape & again with the deep bright gold tone of her sibling albeit perhaps not quite so large. Body firm & weighty for size, well proportioned limbs, dainty paws, well balanced tail, medium thickness, rounded tip. Coat was beautifully prepared, close lying marginally longer, satiny texture. The chocolate appeared to be a little warmer than her sibling but this may well have been due to where they were penned as their was one at either end of a row, again it was virtually sound & very even overall. Lovely condition & also a relaxed gentle young miss.
AV ASIAN VISITORS NEUTER:
1 PLAW’S IMP GR PR RAINSONG STEVIE GERRARD 72 45d 28-06-05. Red Ticked Tabby, this lad is still extremely handsome & still behaves in exactly the same way as always, grumpy so & so out of the pen but back in he is a real pussy cat & you can do whatever you want with him. Has typical ‘Asian’ type, with his short wide wedge & blunt muzzle, top nicely rounded, good break, strong chin, bite good. Ears medium size, beautifully set, wide base, rounded tips, touch of forward tilt. Lovely eyes for size & shape, with deeply curved lower line & gentle slanted top, light green colour. Body has medium length & well muscled & firm, well shaped legs, oval paws, tail of medium thickness, rounded tip which is a little short of the shoulder in length. His coat whilst not implying long could be just a little shorter, but that said lay beautifully close & was an excellent texture, sleek well prepared finish. Good facials with more solid skullcap on the brow, the body showing excellent ticking & banding with paler red area to the undercoat, slight amount of perfectly acceptable necklet. The colour is a rich vibrant red shade & the ticking is well contrasted. Super condition, just much happier in his pen.
2 STEEL’S GR PR ABBURREX PREEMADONNA 72 45q 11-06-05. BCR Brown Ticked Tabby, I do like this girl she has much to recommend her. Her type is in the main excellent, the wedge short & wide, muzzle has the required blunt finish, top could perhaps be a little more rounded, well marked break, nose has a slight roll off a tits tip, chin good. Ears well set, medium in size, touch of forward tilt to the setting. Eyes large & lovely shape, green tone to the colour. Well a little rounded in the body proportions, but as stated often, better that than the alternative, well proportioned legs, oval paws, tail on the shorter side, not due to some extent by her slightly more rounded waistline. Coat of slightly longer length, well prepared & close lying, excellent texture. Excellent facial markings, very typical of ticked tabby showing a denser more solid skull cap, the ticking was excellent & though I would have preferred her colour warmer the overall effect was very obviously Ticked, she does have a little grey at the roots in places, showing leg bracelets & well marked dark Burmese brown heels. Her condition was immaculate, a little tetchy but not in any way difficult.
AC SILVER TABBY ASIAN ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
1 KEMP’S NATZKATZ JUBULANI 72 45sq 26-01-08. BCR Brown Silver Ticked Tabby, still very much a baby but that said very good type & not yet a year so has time on her side to mature & develop more fully. Good short wedge, reasonable blunt finish to the muzzle, top rounds nicely, quite a good break, tiny rise on her nose, fair chin, good bite. Ears well placed to follow her wedge, medium size, rounded tips. Eyes are quite large just requiring a little more emphasis to the shape, good bright green tone. Body quite dainty as yet, but the proportions are all keeping & she is quite firm, neat paws, well balanced tail. Coat though marginally long was close lying & has very sleek finish. Evenly shaded on the body with a good silver undercoat to give a mantle effect, deepening on the mask, she has dark brown hocks, brick nose leather, darker pigmented line of colour round her eyes. Sweet nature, very good condition, just to grow up a little more.
AOC ASIAN SELF CAT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
Marked as Wrong Pattern PASHLER’S ADATESH AGROTIS PRONUSI 72a 04-06-08. Is in my opinion Blue Burmese Colour Restriction & therefore not eligible to be shown as opposed to Blue Self, fussy & very gentle natured. Head a little long & requiring a greater degree of width, muzzle slightly rounded as opposed to blunt, top requires a more rounded effect & he has slightly retrousse effect to the nose, the chin needs depth, bite okay. Ears medium size, set slightly tall. The eyes I would have preferred to have more emphasis to the curve on the lower line, quite an attractive light gold to the colour. Body is quite firm, medium length, well proportioned limbs, small paws, quite a well shaped tail which is a little short of shoulder. Coat has a slightly fluffy appearance as opposed to short & close, good texture. He was showing a slight masking on the face with definite paling to the tummy & underside, with a slight brownish overlay & looked typically Burmese in colour also not sound further confirming that he was not Blue Self. Condition was excellent.
SPHYNX ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
1 NEWTON’S ADATESH SHANGRI –LA 84 22 25-03-08. Black Tortie & White, my what a beautifully well grown & mature looking young lady, at only just over 9 months she is showing excellent development. Her head though perhaps marginally long in relation to its width was nevertheless displaying otherwise very good type, slight muzzle indent beneath the well defined cheek line, profile has required gentle break at the eye line, adequate chin, good bite, bit of tarnish on her teeth. Ears large wide base, the set very good being slightly angular, rounded on the tips. Lovely eyes which are large & the required lemon shape with a slight slant upwards, green in colour. She has a very elegant neckline, with superb body tone, it is hard & well muscled, good breadth to her chest, long slender legs, long toes, with very well padded paws, the tail long & fine, well proportioned to the body. Body is covered in very short peachy down, with a little more furnishing on the nose & ears, some wrinkling on the brow. Good combination of colour on the skin showing both black & red with small amount of white present on her paws. Her condition was absolutely superb, with an excellent degree of confidence to display herself well. Sphynx may well not be to everyone’s taste but if they are out of condition it will show.
AV KITTEN WHOSE PARENT IS A VARIANT:
1 ANDERSON’S CURLU MACEY 79s 21 14-04-08. Black Tortie Selkirk Rex, quite a wonderful example of her breed, most beautifully grown & developed, her type excellent. Head broad & beautifully rounded, with full cheeks, the muzzle, showing well developed whisker pads to create a really boxy shape, rounded brow, excellent chin, bite meets albeit just. Ears medium size, small tufts on the tips, fit well into the head shape. Eyes large & round bright orange colour. Her body is beautifully grown & firm, well boned legs, good paws, quite a broad heavy medium length tail. Her coat initially looking a little flat in the pen was actually quite the opposite, being soft yet dense parting easily & was beautifully prepared, the loose curl was abundant & rippled through your fingers, it was a little tighter in the usual places round the neck ears, throat chest, tummy & tail itself. Her black base colour was well broken with shades of red some of which was patched & whilst not a requirement (neither is pattern or colour) she had a beautifully balanced harlequin effect on her face. Condition was superb & her temperament was wonderfully confident. I thought she was quite gorgeous.
My thanks to Celia for the invitation, it was a great show as always superbly run. I was lucky enough to have Karen Holloway as my steward for the day, she is great company and handles the cat superbly.
BRITISH ORANGE EYED ADULT
C.C. B.O.B. WESTALL’S DARRWAY RAMONA (14a) F 20/05/07
I wonder what this poor girl had been up to as she was soaking wet down one side, she is immature and I did debate long and hard on her C.C, but I felt so sorry for her and of course she purred so it was this that swung the balance and carried her thru. Fairly round shape to head with medium top and slightly large ears that were wide to the base, round eyes which are good orange colour, short straight nose, she is still lacking cheeks and her muzzle is rather square at present, level bite and fair chin. A good sized frame slightly long frame which is starting to fill, short coat possible a little soft but as she was so wet difficult to tell, balanced length tail with rounded tip.
BRITISH CREAM ADULT MALE
C.C. B.O.B. HARRISON & GRIBBEN’S CH CRAZIPUSS CALLME CHARLEY (17) M 28/10/06
What a sweetie a lovely nature and superb purr. Well rounded head with lovely wide smooth skull between medium sized well set ears. Large round deep orange coloured eyes, short nose with a slight dip when viewed in profile balanced well by full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Lovely cobby shape to body with deep chest and short level back, held on short sturdy legs with firm round paws, short dense coat a medium cream and generally sound and free of ghost marking, short full tail with some rings.
HARDY’S STONNALL MAGICAL TOY BOY (17) M 06/10/07
This boy is lovely natured as well a head butter he is difficult to ignore. Head rounding well with smooth skull between well set fractionally large ears, medium orange eyes which are tending towards an oval shape, long straight nose his cheeks are filling well but his chin is rather weak, level bite. Cobby shaped frame of a good weight with sturdy boning to limbs, short coat rather hot in colour and a little unsound to the roots, balanced length tail with some rings.
RICHARDS’S PETTICOTE MARCO POLO (17) M 22/09/07
The baby of the group and at that difficult stage, head rounding with more width needed between rather large ears. Round orange easy, short straight nose with cheeks and muzzle needing to fill, just fractionally overshot bite he need to fill his chin out and hopefully this will correct itself. Good boning to his frame he just needs to fill it out, short coat lacking in undercoat so flat lying a medium cream with some ghost pattern overlay, balanced length tail with some rings.
BRITISH CREAM ADULT FEMALE
C.C. MANN’S LORASTON MILLY-VANILLI (17) F 12/06/07
A lovely natured girl and it was this that won me over as she is a little on the immature side, but she was such a sweetie I had to give a certificate as she purred!. Quiet round head with medium width between ears that are a fraction on the large side. Round super deep orange eyes, short straight nose with slight dip when viewed in profile, small round cheeks that could be fuller her muzzle needs to fill as it is rather square, level bite. Not a large frame but balanced and a good weight the boning to her limbs could have been heavier. Short coat with good density, a mid cream and generally sound, full tail with rounded tip showing some rings.
HARDY’S STONNALL COUNTRY GIRL (17) F 19/08/07
Another girl that is on the immature side, fairly round head with medium width between well set fractionally large ears, fabulous eyes colour a deep orange her eyes however are a little almond shaped rather than round, short nose with slight dip she needs to fill out her cheeks and muzzle to balance this up, level bite and fair chin. Slightly long in the body she is a little light weight and I would like thicker boning to her limbs. Rather long soft coat a dark cream with some ghost tabby pattern overlay, long tail with pointed tip.

Tortie Silver Spotted. This girl is such a sweetie she has a nature to die for and I gather she went on to be overall BIS, well done, her only fault is she is a little rotund, but I bet she enjoys life! Full round head with wide smooth top between neat well set ears, superb large round deep orange eyes, short straight nose, full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Compact square shape to body very well filled with deep chest and wide level back, held on short sturdy legs. Short dense coat a light silver with clear red overlay to pattern, M to face, well defined spine line, the spots are slightly clearer to the left than right side, balanced length ringed tail.
LOCKWOOD’S CH FARLEYWOOD MR BUMBLE (40 4) M 21/07/07
Lilac Colourpointed. A lovely looking boy not in the best of tempers, well developed head with good smooth round skull between small well set ears, his large round eyes are rather obscured by a heavy brow line they are a good blue colour, broad nose with full cheeks and rounded muzzle, level bite and good chin. Lovely size and substance to frame with sturdy well boned limbs, short dense coat with good texture, well defined mask and points the pinkish huge is a little lacking, there is some shading to the body. Balanced length fully coloured tail

SHEPHERD’S GR CH LORRENTIONO LADYGUINEVERE (33a 36) F 27/02/04
Black Smoke. Short broad wedge with high cheek bones, large eyes wide set oval in shape and sloping towards edges of ears. These are large with a good low set wide to the base and tapering to tufted tips. Short nose with stop, strong muzzle well defined whisker break, level bite and firm chin. Her body is rather on the large side she does have a slender neck, very broad chest and firm muscle tone, slim legs with neat oval paws. Short dense coat with rippling to body, long tapering tail well covered with short fur.
LUXFORD-WATTS CH DU-BU STARSHINE (33 18c) F 24/04/04
Lilac Silver Tabby. It said take care on her pen which was a little unfair, she had a tiny grumble and we didn’t keep her out too long, but compared to some she was almost friendly!. Medium wedge with high cheek bones narrowing to a rounded muzzle and strong chin, very expressive oval shaped eyes, flat skull with curving at the brow in a straight line to tip of nose. Medium sized ears with high set tapering to rounded tip, she had a tendency to hold them very upright. Nice size and feel to body with long legs and small oval paws. KORAT GRAND CHAMPIONS
G.C.C. TO EDWARDS’S CH KOORAHK ROSY (34) F 04/03/07
This girl is lovely she has fabulous attitude and tells you just what she thinks, and although she has some developing to do I couldn’t resist her. Good outer heart shape to head the inner one could be fuller, she has large ears with a good set when she screams at you she does have a tendency to splay them side wards. Again he eyes look better when she is telling you off still a yellowish amber colour but she is under 2 so time is on her side, short nose with slight downward curve, her muzzle is developing but needs to fill more. Dainty framed with good muscle tone she is filling out well. Medium coat a dark blue with silvering only to nose and paws at the moment, balanced length tail a little thin.
KORAT ARISTOCRAT ADULT
CHERKAS’S JUSARKA PUSSYWILLOW (34) F 18/08/02
What a pretty girl, so soft natured not a smidge of attitude and she loved a cuddle. Heart shaped head with breadth coming across super eyes large and luminous and a lovely deep green colour. Good set to large ears. short nose with downward curve and slight stop, well developed muzzle level bite and good chin. Another dainty girl with good muscle tone, short single coat fine textured and lying close to her body a light blue with silvering to face and legs, medium length tail thick to base and tapering to tip.
LACEY’S JENANCA ANJALI (34) F 27/06/04
Gosh what is going on here, yet another softie very relaxed with not comment to be made!. Heart shaped head quite clear with fair breadth across eyes, they are a super deep green coming and are a large size but being so relaxed it was difficult to get an alert expression from her, well set large ears with rounded tips and flared at the base. Short nose with slight downward curve but no visible stop, rounded muzzle with level bite and fair strength to chin. A dainty girl with good muscle tone, short fine textured coat a mid blue with very little tipping and some stray white hairs to her shoulders and neck, medium length tail with rounded tip.
Many thanks to Lynda & the show team for their invitation – the first time I’ve judged at the breed shows. I hope the new venture was a success – it seemed a very busy day for all concerned, at least one way of keeping warm! Karen Kempsall stewarded for me, handled the cats very well and was pleasant company.

GrCC SELLMAN’S GR CH KINABALU SWEET SAPPHIRE (72), Bombay, 11/07/04
Very nice mature Bombay girl, it’s several years since I last met her. Well rounded top of head, medium ears with small tufts set wide apart, showing forward tilt in profile & continuing shape of face in front view. Gently rounded brow, very good break to short straight nose lining up with medium depth level chin; correct bite & excellent width to blunt muzzle. Rather pale yellow eyes of correct size, shape & set, with top line slanting towards nose & fuller lower line, giving typical expression. Substantial girl of over 4 years, heavy & muscular, well rounded chest, medium proportionate legs ending in small oval feet; tail tapering to rounded tip & reaching shoulder when brought around side of body. Jet black coat of dense texture, just a touch long but lies close; almost sound to roots (paling slightly to a more brownish tone). Shown in excellent condition, a very calm relaxed girl who is clearly an “old hand” around the show scene!
Res CHAMPMANS’S CH KAGURA AUREOLE (68q), Brown Tiffanie, 06/09/07
Pretty brown Tiffanie girl of 16 months. Slight rounding to top of head, medium ears with small tufts held a little high at times so not quite continuing line of wedge in front view. Brow a touch flat, well defined break to short straight nose in profile; level chin of good depth, correct bite & good width to short blunt muzzle. Large, lustrous pale yellow eyes of excellent size, shape & set, showing correct slant to top line & well rounded lower line giving a pleasing expression. Smaller girl, no doubt still with some growing to do, muscular body of good weight with slim legs ending in neat oval paws & plumed tail of balanced length. Coat of excellent soft silky texture, but rather short in length over entire body despite the time of year; no ruff or breeches in evidence as yet, ear tufts & small furnishings, slight plume to tail. Very attractive colouring - a particularly warm rich seal brown, paling slightly to roots. Promising girl of very good overall type & temperament, just lacking the maturity of the winner today – I hope her coat will grow!

Not at all happy today, we could only handle her briefly. Fair type, rather a long head with large wide based ears set at correct angle, dip to profile, slightly long nose with dark outline & pink leather. Slight whisker break, acceptable width to longish muzzle & slightly shallow receding chin. I was unable to check her bite. Fair width at eye level; hazel eyes of acceptable size although shape not typical, showing quite a slant to the top line – perhaps due to her mood. Compact muscular body, slim legs ending in neat oval feet; tail showing faint half rings ends in blunt tip & falls just short of shoulder. Many thanks to Celia and her hard working team for my invite to this very popular show. This year the venue was shared by 5 cat clubs, which enabled some of the clubs to enter two shows and possibly win 2 C.C.’s on the day. This must surely be the way that clubs must go. I know as a breeder and exhibitor, I long for the day when I have the opportunity to enter two shows under two different judges all in one day. Also, my grateful thanks to Pauline Gribbens who very kindly stewarded for me. We had a really good day with some terrific British Shorthairs.
BLACK ADULT MALE:
1 CC & BOB DENNY’S CH CHESLO EASTON CASPER. What can I say, such a gorgeous young man. I am talking about the cat and not the owner I might add!!! Lovely large well balanced boy, true British headshape, with excellent width between neat tiny ears. Well balanced cheeks and well rounded eyes of orange colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Excellent weight to a body of good depth standing on short thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail of medium length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Very dense short jet black coat, just a little unsound in places today. I understand he received his 3rd Grand Ch. Certificate, so congratulations.
2 SIDWELL’S ARAVEL BASIL BRUSH. Much young boy who needs to mature. He has a well rounded head but lacks the maturity of the winner. Ears a tad wide at base, nicely balanced cheeks, round eyes of deep gold colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Good sized body although he stands a little tall at present. Tail in proportion. Lovely jet black coat, short and sound to roots but I would like it denser, and rather unsound today. Lovely temperament.
BLUE ADULT MALE:
1 CC ROSS’S ADATESH BURLINGTON BERTIE. Youngest boy out of the two at 10 months. Maturing well for his age. He has a well rounded head shape with a lovely open expression. His ears are well set but flared at base. Excellent large expressive round eyes of orange colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy body with good stocky legs and rounded paws. Thick tail of medium length with a rounded tip. Coat of medium blue colour, short, dense and sound to roots. One of those coats that you can move in any direction and it just flows
2 BUJALSKA’S-AXON’S DELPHINIUM MIGHTY ATOM. Another stunning boy, very mature with a well rounded head, balanced cheeks, well-set ears, just a little heavy browed. Eyes of good orange colour, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of good weight and depth, thickset lets and rounded paws. Tail in proportion. Lovely pale blue coat, very short and very dense and sound to roots. Just sorry that he had to meet the winner today, it was very close.
BRITISH BLUE FEMALE:

Tail in proportion, thick at base but with a pointed tip. Lovely pale blue coat, short, dense, sound to roots and with a lovely temperament.
2 PERRY’S ADVISH ABEL AWILD. Very nice girl who could be larger for her age. Fairly good top of head, well set ears, excellent round eyes of deep orange colour, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of fair weight for her age, good sturdy legs and rounded paws. Tail of medium length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Coat of good pale blue, fairly short, would like it denser, but sound to roots
3 NEALE’S JALANDHARA SIMPLY MAGIC. Young lady with a fair shaped head, unfortunately her ears are rather large at present for balance. Excellent round orange eyes, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Body of medium weight, legs in proportion to body. Tail of medium length. Coat of good medium blue colour, short in length but lacks density, and showing some silver tipping today.
4 WESTALL’S PAMPURRED ANCHELLE. Pretty girl of excellent type, unfortunately today, her 3rd eyelids were very pronounced which completely spoilt her facial expression. Rather small for her age but compact and she had a well rounded head shape, neat ears, and from what I could see, orange eye colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Coat of medium blue, fairly short, could be denser and very unsound today.
I must just mention that we had Brown’s Ch Charmoden Simplygrace for best of breed, she is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately her bite let her down today.

Head round with ears which are little tall today, rounded and set nicely apart. Eyes hazel in colour, large and round. Nose broad and straight with a full brick leather. Level bite. Chin a little weak. Coat short dense and crisp. Silvery ground colour with dense black markings overlaid with a rich red. M to forehead, thumbprints to ears, spectacles and spotted whisker pads. Shoulder shows a butterfly, oyster on both flanks which are almost full. Well defined spine lines. Tail well ringed, thick and medium in length.
3 MRS H MAXTED’S SARGENTA SILVER ZENO (30s) M 5/6/08 – Black Silver Spotted of good size and shape. Cobby body standing low on short strong legs with round firm paws. Large round head needing cheeks to fill. Good width between ears that are a little tall at the moment. Large round green eyes spaced nicely apart. Short nose which is broad and straight. Good bite. Chin a little weak. Coat is short dense and crisp showing slight tarnish on nose. Ground colour is silver with dense black Tabby markings. Body and legs showing numerous oval shaped spots, around the shoulder areas the spots are elongated and linked. M to forehead, spotted whisker pads, thumbprints to ears and spectacles to eyes. Tail well ringed with the tip of the tail being the same colour as the markings.
AC BRITISH NOVICE NEUTER:
1 MRS H GOODWIN’S ILONA SILVER SPARKLE (79S 30S) MN 18/8/07 – Silver Tabby Selkirk. Good size with solid muscle tone but I would have liked a little stronger boning on the legs. Face is round with full cheeks but needing more padding to the muzzle. Ears are a little small in size but are set well apart. Round eyes which are nicely set. Rounded brow with a short, broad nose which is straight and in profile has a downward slant. Good bite. Super coat that was fairly uniform in length and standing out from the body. It had random structured waves which where very well rexed around neck, tail and underparts.
My thanks to Lynda and the AGCS committee for the invitation to judge at the club
show and to Celia for allowing the extra side classes for the Short Hair show. Also I
am, as usual, indebted to Heather Bradley for her care and considerate handling of
the exhibits and the judge. Many thanks to the exhibitors for trusting me to judge
your delightful cats at the breed show.

Asian Self Kitten Male (14 weeks to 6months)
1st Mr & Mrs Trotter’s TROTKATZ CHOCOLATE ROBIN (72b) M 17/09/08
Gorgeous wee baby boy! Poor wee man seemed to be teething rather badly in the
morning. I noticed later in the afternoon he had settled down and was looking very
relaxed and settled. Large and lustrous rich golden amber eyes greeted me first;
they are set well apart and had a very pleasing shape to them. Head on he has a
short wide wedge, he was teething badly when I handled him and the duty vet
confirmed he had a slightly irregular lower tooth but his bite was level, a blunt
muzzle, rather pronounced rounding in the top of head (almost a Dome) at present
which might be expected in such a young kitten. His ears were set well apart, being
of good shape at present, wide at the base with rounded tips and slight tufts (due to
his teething pains it was not possible to assess the profile tilt today). In profile his
skull shows good depth, a very rounded “kitten” brow, a very good nose break, an
essentially straight nose that fell away slight to his nose leather, jaw of good depth
which lay in the correct plane to his nose. His medium sized body was very well filled
for his age having that lovely plump kitten feel, but the muscles are developing
nicely, strong chest and straight back. His legs were in proportion, the hind pair
being taller and having oval paws. His coat was very much a baby coat going
through that first moult and was patchy in terms of hair length and quality due to
this, but it was a superb shade of chocolate, very warm and absolutely sound to the
roots, he had a few stray white hairs mostly guard hairs though and his nose leather
and paws were a complimentary shade of chocolate to match his coat. All in all a
very sweet little chap who although suffering with teething pain when we examined
him purred away and really enjoyed a fuss today. Will look forward to watching his
development.
2nd Mrs Ward’s RHUGGIBEAR EBONY CHIEFTAN (72) M 19/09/08
What a well grown youngster. His medium eyes were set wide apart and well shaped
with correct slant to upper lid and pleasing rounding to lower, in colour they were a
muddy yellow still. Head on he has a short wide wedge, with a blunt muzzle which
was marginally pinched today due teething perhaps, but having a level bite; he also
shows gentle round between his wide set ears which were of acceptable size, wide at
the base with rounded tips. In profile his skull showed reasonable depth, a rounded
brow, good break to his straight nose and acceptable depth to his jaw, I would
prefer greater depth for perfection, which was set back slightly. His medium sized
body was of excellent weight, with a strong chest and straight back. His limbs were
medium sized but well proportioned, taller on the hind legs with attractive spoon
shaped paws. His moderately thick tail balanced and had a paint brush tip. His coat
was rather kittenish at present - a tad fluffy still; it was coloured to the root but
there were some pronounced white hairs evident, no doubt where mum has been
carrying him around, obviously black in colour with matching nose leather and paw
pads. Shown in excellent condition and well prepared; such a sweet little soul who
was very cheerful!
Asian Self Kitten Male (6months to 9months)
1st Mrs Pashler’s ADATESH COOLIAS EDUSA (72a) M 04/06/08
Rich golden yellow eyes which unfortunately he distorts somewhat narrowing them
inside the pen and then widen them to “Chapel Hat Peg” size outside of the pen, he
also rather tended to hood over the upper lids, set wide apart on his somewhat
narrow head. Face on his has a medium length medium width muzzle which may
well have been distorted by teething as his bite was confirmed as level by the duty
vet but the lower teeth appear to be pushing further forward. He was puffing out his
whisker pad though but had gentle rounding between his ears but they needed to be
further apart as his head was somewhat narrow. Ears of reasonable size, wide in the
base, with rounded tips and correct profile slant. His skull was of medium depth in
profile, showing a rounded brow, a reasonable nose break, a straight nose a looking
but a little too long, with a shallow receding jaw. His body was well grown for his
age and he had very good weight and muscles developing nicely, a strong chest and
a straight back. He had long legs which were in proportion to his body, neat oval
paws and correctly taller hind legs. His tail balanced, had a gentle taper to a rounded
end. His coat was slightly long but had good texture, it was the most unusual blue I
have seen with a strange Pinkie-Brown (Cinnamon?) shade which was somewhat
patchily scatter about his coat – there was a hint of silvering too but there was
colour to the root if somewhat paler. A little nervous but handled well.
2nd Mrs Pashler’s ADATESH AGROTIS PRONUSI (72a) M 04/06/08
This report will be very similar to his brother as they were almost alike as peas in a
pod with a couple of minor differences. Medium sized eyes of golden yellow with
green inner rim though, correct shape again with slight hooding to upper lids and set
wide apart. Head on he was as narrow as his brother with medium width wedge of
medium length, bite was level but whiskers puffed out again, gentle rounding but
ears though set as far apart as they could be they still look incorrect because the
head is not broad enough to take them as yet, they are of reasonable size, wide in
the base and with rounding at the tips profile tilt was not quite there yet. Medium
depth to skull in profile, rounding to brow, a weak nose break which needs more
definition, straight if somewhat long nose, slight receding jaw which was again too
shallow. Again a well grown body, with good weight and muscles developing very
nicely, strong chest and straight back. Good long legs in proportion to body, neat
oval paws and taller hind legs. Again coat the same as his brother slightly too long,
that same odd pinkish-brown shade mingled into the pale blue but colour descending
to the root if paling top the root. I am afraid he was tenser than his brother which
along with his inner green rim and weaker nose break separated them for me.

Another pair of siblings who are developing really nicely!
1st Ms Rice’s CORVUS CELESTIAL (72b) F 24/05/08
Lovely girl who I was pleased to see since I saw her a few months back in Yorkshire
continues to develop beautifully. Rather lovely large and lustrous rich coppery amber
eyes set well apart her broad head, super shape giving a typical pleasing expression
with their super slant to the nose in the upper lids and fully round lower lids. Head
on she has a pleasing short wide wedge, leading to a blunt muzzle finish with a level
bite, gentle rounding across her broad head with well set ears; which are of good
shape and size, wide in the base with rounded tips and have a good profile tilt. Her
skull has very good depth in profile, a rounded brow with a very good nose break,
straight short nose, jaw of acceptable depth set in correct plane to the end of her
nose. Her medium sized body has very good weight, super muscle tone for her age,
a good strong chest and straight back, her elegant legs are in proportion with neat
oval paws and taller hind legs. Her tail balances and tapers well to a paint brush tip,
being generally of moderate thickness. A lovely rich chocolate coat colour if paling
slight towards the root with correct nose leather and paw pads to compliment her
colour, the coat is leek and lies very close to her body. Shown in excellent condition
and having a very sweet nature.
2nd Ms Rice’s CORVUS EUPHORIA (72b) F 24/05/08
Another super young lady what a shame to be competing against her sister but
lovely to see her out supporting her breed and showing how lovely the Chocolate
Selfs can be. Again large and lustrous deep coppery amber eyes correctly set and
shaped. Very pleasing head on with a short wide wedge, level bite and good muzzle
shape, gentle rounding and ears set well apart. Her ears are a good shape and size
for her head, wide at the base and with pleasing rounding to the tips and correct
profile tile. She has a deep skull in profile and a nicely rounded brow, her break is
acceptable but not as good as her sisters I’m afraid, her short nose is straight but
falls way slightly toward the nose leather at the end, her jaw is of acceptable depth
and sits correct in the right plane to the end of her nose. Nice medium sized body of
very good weight and muscle tone developing nicely, strong chest and straight back,
medium sized legs in proportion to her body with nice oval paws and taller hind legs.
Tail balances well and tapers to a paint brush tip but is slight thicker than her sisters.
Again another lovely dark rich chocolate but pales much more towards the root than
her sister’s coat, it too was sleek and lies very close to her body. A lovely girl who
handled well but did not seem quite as confident as her sister.
Tiffanie Kitten Female (14 weeks to 6 months)
1st Mrs Ward’s HUGGIBEAR AUTUMN PROMISE (68 45) F 19/09/08
What a super expression this wee baby had – a real cutie! Large and lustrous rich
golden eyes set wide apart with super shape, lovely expressive slant to nose in upper
lids and fully rounded to lower lids – typical expression. Super head on showing a
short wide wedge, wide at the jaw hinge with a blunt muzzle finish and a level bite,
ears set wide across a gently rounded top. Ears of good size, wide at the base, round
tips with lovely tufts and gentle furnishings still developing, already displaying the
correct profile tilt. Good depth to skull in profile, with a rounded brow, good break,
straight nose that fell away slightly at the end of her nose, good depth to jaw and
set correctly in good plane to end of her nose. Medium sized body of good weight for
size with a rounded chest and straight back, dainty legs in proportion to body with
sweet little spoon shaped paws and correctly taller hind legs. Her medium thick tail
balanced and tapered to a paint brush tip. Her ticking is developing but evident;
having thumbs to ears, M to forehead, spectacles, faint broken necklace, and solid
spine descending down her tail no rings to tail but having stripes on all four legs. Her
coat colour is developing I would hope the background colour still has a good way to
go yet as was a bit indistinct. The coat texture was still rather immature and very
kitten fluffy none-the-less well presented and a very sweet little baby.

Unfortunately I could not find a single trace of Red in the kitten and would
respectfully suggest she should registered at 68 43sq
Well grown girl with large eyes of golden yellow tone, good shape to upper lid but
lower lid could be fuller for perfection, set wide apart. Head she has a short wide
wedge, good width at jaw hinge and tapering to a blunt muzzle finish with gentle
rounding to top of head and ear which are of good size and set, wide at the base,
round tip with wee tuft developing nicely, set well apart showing good profile slant.
Skull has medium depth, rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose, reasonable
depth of jaw and correct plane to nose end. Medium sized body is developing well
and has good weight, strong chest and straight back; paws are in proportion with
oval paws and correctly taller hind legs. Her tail balanced and tapered to a rounded
end. Whilst her coat is still developing it is quite pleasing already with a plum, ruff,
ear streamers and toe tufts beginning to develop; unfortunately she had no evidence
of red intermingled anywhere on her coat or paw pads (I even check in between her
toes) she had a lovely even mantle of BCR brown over a pristine silver background;
scarab, M to forehead, spectacles and spine line all developing nicely. A real shame
to have to wrong colour her as she was otherwise a rather charming exhibit who
though a little tense handled well.

Medium large pale green eyes set well apart with correct shape. Face on showing
short wide wedge, level bite and blunt muzzle, gentle rounding between ears which
were set well apart, they are good for size, wide at the base, with rounded tips. In
profile having medium depth to skull, rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose,
jaw of reasonable depth in correct plane to nose end. Medium body of pleasing
weight, strong chest and straight back, medium legs in proportion, oval paws and
taller hind legs. Medium thick tail balances and tapers to a rounded end. I did
hesitate over his colour which was border line caramel with hints of metallic sheen
but I gave the benefit of the doubt after consulting a full judge. Definite pinkish
casting but dulled slightly by the hall lighting which may have added to the sheen
effect around the hocks and paws, light beige background colour, light thumb prints
to ears, M to forehead and scarab evident too, spectacles on face, faint necklace,
stripes to legs and tail, of soft and satin like texture marginally long, would prefer
shorter for perfection. Shown in super condition and handled very well.

rather upset young man who have given the judge before me a rather hard time.
Large and lustrous pale yellow eyes set well apart with correct shape. Face on
showing medium width to wedge could not check bite due to his mood but has a
relatively blunt muzzle, slightly flat top between ears which were set well apart, of
good size, wide at the base, with rounded tips and wee tufts. In profile has
reasonable depth to skull, gently rounded brow, nose break could do with more
definition, straight nose with slight roll off to nose leather, jaw of medium depth in
correct plane to nose tip. Large frame body of reasonable weight and good muscle
tone but looked a tad rangy at present, strong chest and straight back, long legs
which adds to the rangy look, oval paws and taller hind legs. Tail balanced and
tapered to a rounded end, free from faults. Good even mantle of BCR chocolate
which is appropriately cooled by the pristine silver background, faint thumbs to ears,
skull cap and M to forehead, spectacles to face, well descended spine line to solid
tip. Coat of medium length and silky texture – what a shame he was rather grumpy
and uncooperative today but managed to handle him in his pen without injury or
upset to either of us.

Simply gorgeous; super type and lovely coat for colour, texture and length a proper
SLH coat. Large and lustrous pale golden yellow eyes set well apart with excellent
shape; super slant to upper lids and full rounding to lower lids. Face on showing
short wide wedge, level if slightly untidy bite and blunt muzzle, gently rounded
between ears which were set well apart, they are good for size, wide at the base,
with rounded tips and tufts and streamers developing nicely. In profile having
excellent depth to skull, rounded brow, very good nose break, straight nose, jaw of
good depth in correct plane to nose end. Medium body of pleasing weight, strong
chest and straight back, medium legs in proportion to body, oval paws and taller
hind legs. Medium thick tail balances and tapers to a rounded end. Super true rich
chestnut BCR brown which was very even and glowing with a healthy sheen on her
silky and fine semi-longhaired length coat. Her coat is still developing with the plum
and ruff somewhat in development at this stage but the texture was truly stunning.
She was somewhat frightened when we arrived at her pen but she handle well and
after covering her with a blanket she had settled down well by the time we returned

Face on showing short but medium width wedge, level bite and blunt muzzle, gentle
rounding between ears which would look better if they could be set across a broader
head, they are good for size, wide at the base, with rounded tips. In profile she has
good depth to skull, rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose, jaw of
reasonable depth in correct plane to nose end. Medium body of pleasing weight,
strong chest and straight back, medium legs in proportion, oval paws and taller hind
legs. Medium thick tail balances and tapers to a paint brush tip. Super even ticked
coat that fits her like a glove with a smooth as silk feel to it, rich coppery tone to
background set against black bands of ticking. Ears have thumb prints, head has
skull cap, M to forehead and spectacle lines to face, broken necklace, solid spin line
descending down her tail to a solid tip with strips to all legs and solid hocks that
ascended well. A very gentle girl who is always a pleasure to handle just needs more
width to her otherwise lovely head.

What a character! Large and lustrous pale green-yellow eyes set well apart with
correct shape. Face on showing short wide wedge, level bite and blunt muzzle,
gently rounded between ears which were set well apart, they are good for size, wide
at the base, with rounded tips. In profile having very good depth to skull, a very
rounded brow, good nose break, straight nose, jaw of good depth in correct plane to
nose end. Medium body of pleasing weight – rather well fed but she looks good on
it, strong chest and straight back, medium legs in proportion, oval paws and taller
hind legs. Medium thick tail just balances and tapers well to a rounded end. Clear
defined black ticking on a gentle coppery background with grey (slating) in roots
across shoulders but this did not disturb her colour; good thumb prints to ears, M to
forehead, spectacles to face and broken necklace, well developed hocks and stripes
to legs, her spine line descend to solid tip at end of tail – her coat was short and had
a lovely soft feel to it. She handled well even though she had a lot to say for herself
and some of it unrepeatable, but really showed us her displeasure when we put her
back in her pen but not harm done – as I stated a larger than life character, but I
bet she’s great fun to live with!

well behaved and handled well. Large and lustrous golden yellow eyes, set well apart

him down as it need more width for balance, level bite and blunt muzzle, gentle
rounding between ears which were set well apart, they are good for size, wide at the
base, with rounded tips. In profile his skull had medium depth, a rather flat brow, his
nose break was lacking in definition, straight nose, jaw of reasonable dept in correct
plane to nose end. Large body of excellent weight, strong chest and straight back,
medium legs in proportion, oval paws and taller hind legs. Medium thick tail balances
and tapers to a rounded end. His black was sometimes a little unconvincing in
places, it appears to have quite a brown tinge to it especially around his paws and
tail as if they’d been bleached out but not a tarnished look, clear silver background
though. Scarab to head, M to forehead, stripes on legs and tail, faint broken
necklace and faint thumbs to ears also, his coat was too long really but lies well. A

Quite simply one of the most eye catching Bengals I have ever seen, amazing
wild look to head; small with super ears lovely expression across eyes. Her
pattern was so striking although she appeared to have pale ground to her pelt
the golden traces were quite remarkable with super arrow heads that had
wonderful dark outlining to define them yet a mellow inner contrasting warm
brown colour – a very lovely girl very pleasing!

Super confident girl! Medium sized head in proportion to her solid body, having a
broad wedge with rounded contours, top of head was rounded nicely and forehead
beginning to flatten, straight nose, firm chin. Alert good sized ears and broad at the
base. Beautiful shade of blue to eyes of good shape and set. Good muscling to
medium sized body. Legs of good length with oval paws. Tail balances well tapering
to a rounded end. Coat was quite short, having good texture and healthy glossy
sheen to it. Super pattern with absolutely minimal white covering on her paws which
did not ascend up her leg and small white triangle on her face.

A very appealing girl with a lovely shade of cream. Large and lustrous eyes of a rich
yellow amber tone, set well apart and with very good shape to both upper and lower
lids. Head on she had a short wide wedge, level bite which was a little untidy, blunt
muzzle and gently rounded top; upon which sat well set ears of good size, wide in
the base and had rounded tips which displayed the correct profile tilt. Her profile
showed a skull of good depth with very gentle rounding to brow, a good break with
a straight nose and jaw of reasonable depth which was set in the correct plane to
the end of her nose. Medium body had good weight and muscle tone feeling well
fed! She had a strong chest and straight back, proportionately medium size legs
which had oval paws, correct height to hind legs. Her tail balanced, was medium thin
and tapered well to a paint brush end. A rich, yet pastel cream with super powdering
evident across her head, spine and rounded areas. Shown in super condition, a very
positive sweet girl and was a real pleasure to meet!

Another rather sweet young lady who was unlucky to meet the winner today. Large
and lustrous pale golden yellow eyes set well apart, super shape to eyes especially
when relaxed. Head on shows a short wide wedge, level bite and blunt muzzle,
gentle rounding to top of head and ears that are of good shape, wide in the base
with rounded tips and good profile tilt, set well apart. In profile she had good depth
to her skull, a rounded brow, reasonable nose break, straight nose, jaw of
reasonable depth set in the correct plane to end of her nose. Medium sized body just
about acceptable weight, strong chest and straight back; her legs were in proportion
to her body, having oval paws and taller hind legs. Tail balanced, tapered to a
rounded end but there was slightly tensile feel toward the end. Short, soft, silky coat
of a warm chocolate tone, lightly mingled with shades of red which was very
attractive. Her condition was generally good, but I would have preferred her to have
been heavier at her age. A very sweet girl who handled very well despite being
somewhat concerned about the blower above us.
Thank you to Lynda, Celia and their teams for the invitation to judge today and for all the hardwork that went into making this combined show a success. Thanks also to my steward Sarah Sellman who handled the cats with care and efficiency.

Delightful black silver ticked tabby with Burmese Colour restriction of very good weight and size for his age. He has a rounded chest and straight back, with elegant limbs, neat spoon shaped paws. His top of head shows gentle rounding and well spaced medium sized ears that are wide at the base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. Large lustrous greenish yellow that have good shape and set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and are set wide apart. In profile he needs a more distinct nosebreak and his nose has a tiny bump but his chin is of good depth and is level as is his bite. His wedge is short and broad and shows a slight pinch jaw hinge (teething?). His coat is a little long and kittenish at the moment and show rich warm seal brown markings on a pale silvery ground. His ticking is a little patchy at present showing distinct ticking along his sides and flanks but looking slightly more shaded in places along his spine line. He does however have a complex scarab, attractive pencilling on his face and has pale spectacles around his eyes with dark mascara. He has a pale broken necklace, half bars on his front legs, smudges on his knees and a spotty tummy. A promising lad with a lovely temperament who was really enjoying his day out.

Good length to his tail which is thick and even, carried low and with a rounded tip. Typical head looking correctly small in proportion to his body with a broad medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones. His large sparkling green eyes are almond shaped and slanted towards the base of the ear. He has the most gorgeous coat that is short dense, soft and luxurious. This black silver Burmilla was very cold when we got to him so he enjoyed a cuddle to warm him up! He has a firm weighty body with a straight back and rounded chest, proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and balances his body. His top of head is just a little flatter than ideal but he has very good width between his ears that have a wide base, rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt their out edges following the line of his upper face. He has large lustrous golden yellow eyes that have the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower line, set well apart giving him the desired Asian look. In profile he has good depth to his head with a rounded brow and distinct nosebreak, firm chin and level bite. 2 Plaws Imp Gr Pr RAINSONG STEVIE GERRARD (72 45d) MN 28/06/05
Handsome well known red ticked tabby boy I have judged before. Lithe medium sized body feeling firm and muscular with straight back and rounded chest with proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail of medium thickness tapers to a paintbrush tip and is a little short to balance. He has a lovely balanced head with gentle rounding to top with well spaced medium ears of good shape and set with broad base and rounded tips and slight forward tilt. In profile he has a distinct nose break, straight nose, good depth to head and a level firm chin and a level bite. Large lustrous amber yellow eyes that have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a more fuller rounded line to the lower lid set wide apart giving the correct Asian expression. His coat gleamed with health and today his ticking was not as well defined as it has appeared in the past but I did manage to find some ticking showing three bands of deep red on a pale red ground on his flanks. He has pencilling on his cheeks, mascara effect on his eyes, spectacles and an M on his forehead bars on all four limbs and broken rings on his tail. A really lovely boy and a worthy Imperial, unlucky to meet the winner today.
3 Laughers LESSENTINE SIERRA SANDY (72k) MN 27/12/03
Nice to see an example of a Cinnamon self on the bench. He has a heavy well muscled body with rounded chest and straight back, proportionate limbs and neat oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and is just a fraction short to balance. His head needs more depth but has width between his ears that are wide at the base but need more rounding to the tips. In profile his brow requires more rounding and he has an adequate nose break but his nose is a little long and slopes away. His has large lustrous golden yellow eyes that have the topline slanting towards his nose with a rounded lower line, they are set well apart. He has a short broad wedge that just narrows a little at the jaw hinge. His coat is a rich warm toned cinnamon brown and is short but just a bit on the thick side and he has a smattering of white hairs at his throat. He has the most wonderful calm loving temperament and was a pleasure to handle.

Another nice BSH kitten just a not showing the maturity of my winner. He is of good weight with a short straight back and rounded chest. His legs are short and strong and with rounded firm paws, medium thickness to his tail which has a rounded tip. Round head with full cheeks and small well set ears that have rounded tips. I was impressed by the condition of the lovely black and white lad when I judged him and thought him to be (according to my book) 8 years old. This was a small mistake and we have to add 10 years to his age as he is actually 18. He has a gleaming jet black coat with just a few white hairs, sparkling white toes on his front feet, socks on his back and a white bib and chin. He has the most attractive white flash down his nose. He was looking a trifle bored by the time I got to him and gave an enormous yawn showing me he still has nearly all his teeth!!! A lovely boy in fantastic condition and a credit to his owner.

Very pretty Tiffanie kitten that was in my book as a Black tortie silver shaded with BCR, however I couldn’t find a trace of tortie anywhere her pads included. I felt that after consultation with a full judge I had no choice but to wrong colour her. She was of good weight for her size with proportionate limbs and rounded paws. Gently rounded trop to her head with good width between her well shaped and set medium ears. They have a broad base with rounded tops and set with a slight forward tilt. In profile she has reasonable depth to her head with a rounded brow and distinct nosebreak but her nose just slopes off, her chin is shallow and lays back a fraction. Her wedge is short broad and just looks a fraction pinched at the jaw hinge today and her bite is level. She has large lustrous yellow eyes that have the correct shape and set with the topline slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower lid and set well apart. Her coat is medium length and lies flat along her spineline and flows down her sides and is silky with a nice plume and shows a warm seal brown mantle over a silver base. She has a scarab on her forehead with pale spectacles and dark mascara. She has more intense colouring down her tail, half bars on her front legs. A promising kitten.

She has slight flattening to her top of head with she has good width between her medium sized ears which are wide at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. I felt she needed more depth to her head but her profile shows a gently rounded brow and an acceptable nose break, medium length nose that just rolls off at the tip. She has a shallow chin that lies back a little and a level bite. Medium broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle but is just a little pinched at the jaw hinge today. Beautiful rich golden yellow colour to her to her eyes, that have the top line slanting towards her nose with the bottom lid fuller and more rounded, they are set wide apart to give the typical Asian expression. Her coat is short lying glossy and closes lying and is a rich warm chestnut brown and lacks colour to the roots. A confident young lady who showed herself well.
