An enjoyable day with some lovely cats. Many thanks to my steward Rowena Murphy for handling the cats with care and her enjoyable company during the day. Also my thanks to Ronnie for the invitation to judge and to the GCCFI for their hospitality.
USUAL ABYSINNIAN KITTEN
1st & BOB LONG’S ISMISHA LETTER TO MEMPHIS 23 F 24.8.08
Nice moderate wedge, with large ears, well pricked and slight tufts at tips. Pleasing profile line, level bite but slightly shallow chin. Rounded contours to face and slight indentation. Just a trifle fine at muzzle at present. Long, lithe muscular body with proportionate slender legs and oval paws. Long gently tapering tail to balance. Coat fairly short, fine and dense in texture. Slightly pale apricot base colour with black ticking. Ticking showing good bands of colour, slightly more intense down spine and tail. ‘M’ on forehead and pencil lines on cheeks, broken necklaces. Black slightly up hocks. Delightful kitten shown in lovely condition. Hazel eyes set well apart with good expression.
sorrel ABYSINNIAN KITTEN
1st & BOB LONG’S ISMISHA SURFER ROSA 23a F 24.8.08
Moderate wedge, large ears wide at base, well pricked with little tufts at tips. In profile nice line except nose rounds slightly towards tip. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Teething so slightly distorting her face shape, but nicely rounded muzzle. Elegant weighty body with good firm feel. Long slender legs and dainty oval paws. Tail thicker at base and gently tapering to tip. Coat fairly short and fine, dense in texture. Delightful colour with chocolate ticking showing good bands of colour. Slightly more intense down spine to tail. Pale lips, chin & throat. Clear facial markings. Nicely set greeny eyes of good shape. Lovely temperament and condition.
BLUE ABYSINNIAN KITTEN
1st & BOB FRENCH’S ISMISHA HELVETICA BOLD 23c M 24.8.08
Good breadth to gently rounded top of head, gently rounded contours to moderate wedge. Muzzle just a trifle fine but formed by slight indentation. Good profile line. Level bite but slightly shallow level chin. Large, well pricked ears, furry inner edges, slight tufts at tips. large, almond shaped eyes, golden in colour, set well. Very well grown young male, longish, weighty body with proportionate slender long legs and oval paws. Tail gently tapers to tip, good length. Coat fairly short and fine, dense in texture. Good colour blue with clear bands of ticking, colour more intense at base of spine and tail. Blue part way up back of legs. Nice facial markings. Lovely condition. Sprightly temperament.
LILAC BURMESE CHAMPION

Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Slight rounding to brow, fairly good nose break, nose a trifle long and rounds. Level bite but shallow chin. Very good size and weight with good muscle tone. Proportionate legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail of good length to balance body. Coat a trifle long but close lying and of good texture. Lilac colour a bit dark for my liking, paler over shoulders, slightly blue contrast masking to face and ears. Sprinkling of pale hairs between back legs. Good size and shape to chartreuse eyes, well set. Nice natured boy shown in good condition.
CREAM BURMESE PRE-CHAMPION

Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of slightly generous size. Gently rounded brow, fair nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and fair depth chin. Excellent size and weight to good length body with proportionate legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail of good length to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent texture. Fairly pale cream even and with desired powdering over head. Two rather heavy but broken necklaces. Half bars on inside of all limbs. Very good size and shape to yellow eyes spaced well apart. Promising young male, lovely temperament and excellent condition.

Very good width to gently rounded top of head between well set ears of good shape but a trifle oversized. Gentle rounding to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and good depth chin. Medium length body with proportionate slender legs and neat oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent satiny texture. Prettily mingled deepish lilac and shades of cream. Good size and shape to pale yellow eyes set well apart. Deceptively weighty mature lady shown in lovely condition. A real wriggler but lovely temperament.
AOC TORTIE BURMESE PRE-CHAMPION

Very good width to gently rounded top of head between slightly oversized ears but of good shape and well set. In profile gently rounded brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and good depth, level chin. Widely set pale chartreuse eyes of very good size and shape. Elegant, weighty body with proportionate slender legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail balances body length. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent satiny texture. Deepish blue attractively mingled with shades of cream. Striking looking young lady shown in excellent condition and with a lovely temperament.
2 NERITTI & GIBBONS’S GIRONA BLUEPOPPY 27g F 12.10.07
Very good width to gently rounded top of head between medium ears set wide apart. Slight rounding to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and medium depth chin. Very good size and shape to yellow eyes well set. Good size and weight and firm feel to body with proportionate shapely legs and neat oval paws. Tail balances body. Coat fairly short and close lying and of very good texture. Attractive medium blue mingled with shades of cream. Attractive lady, a trifle frisky but handled OK and shown in lovely condition. I would be happy to award her a certificate another day.
LILAC BURMESE KITTEN MALE
1 LEOGUE’S ISMISHA HUNKY DORY 27c M 18.8.08
Gently rounded top of head of good width between well set and shaped ears of good size. Fairly short blunt wedge. Gentle rounding to brow, good nose break, and fairly short straight nose. Untidy bite but good depth, level chin. Good size and shape to yellow eyes set well apart. Well grown boy of very good weight and muscle tone, strongish legs and largish oval paws. Good length tail spoilt by minor defect at tip. Coat fairly short and fairly close lying, slightly dense at present but of good texture. Fairly even medium lilac with bluey contrast masking to face and ears. Delightful temperament and shown in lovely condition.
LILAC BURMESE KITTEN FEMALE
1 & BOB KEENAN’S KATCENNE SPERANZA WILDE 27c F 23.4.08
Lovely width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Short blunt wedge. In profile nicely rounded brow, good nose break, nose straight, shallows in depth slightly to tip. Level bite and good depth chin. Large lustrous pale yellow eyes set well apart and with ‘typical’ burmese expression. Very good size and weight with good firm feel. Proportionate shapely legs and neat oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body. Coat fairly short and close lying, excellent satiny texture. Pale lilac colour a trifle creamy for my preference. Faint bluey contrast masking to face and ears. Excellent condition, some attitude for one so young.
BLUE BURMESE PREMIER

Good width to nicely rounded top of head between slightly large but well shaped and set ears. In profile slight flattening to brow, fair nose break, nose a bit long but straight. Level bite and good depth chin. Longish, well filled body of good muscle tone, proportionate legs and oval paws. Well shaped tail needs fraction more length for perfection. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent texture and good sheen with silvering to rounded areas. Deepish blue in colour, nice and even. Widely set pale yellow eyes of very good size and shape. Lovely temperament and shown in lovely condition.
LILAC BURMESE PREMIER

Good width to gently rounded top of head between ears of good size and shape well set. In profile gentle rounding to brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and fair depth chin. Widely set large and lustrous yellow eyes with ‘burmese’ expression. Good length body with proportionate shapely legs and largish oval paws. Good length tail spoilt by minor defect at tip. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent satiny texture. Slightly dark tone to lilac colour but even, bluey contrast masking to face and ears. Nice mature boy with a nice temperament and shown in lovely condition.
CREAM BURMESE PREMIER MALE

Well placed ears of good size and shape. Gently rounded top of head, slightly rounded brow, good nose break, nose a trifle long and rounds. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Good length body of excellent size, weight and muscle tone with proportionate strong legs and oval paws. Good length tail spoilt by minor defect at tip. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent texture. Even cream in colour, a trifle hot but with desired powdering. Strong but broken necklace. Lovely pale yellow eyes of good size and shape set well apart. Lovely condition and temperament.

Lovely lady. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. Short blunt wedge with gentle rounding to brow, good nose break and short straight nose. Level bite and good depth, level chin. Large lustrous yellow eyes with a lovely expression. Medium length body, deceptively weighty with proportionate shapely legs and neat oval paws, well shaped tail could be a fraction longer for perfection. Coat fairly short and close lying and of excellent satiny texture. Prettily mingled deep brown and shades of red. Charming mature lady shown in lovely condition.

making all the arrangements as well. The hospitality was very good indeed. The cats of course were wonderful.

GC BOB DMYTRIYEVAS CH LLANDAR LOLA Very good head, just slightly longer than wide. High cheek bones. Good profile and chin. Medium ears good shape and well set. Eyes good shape and setting. Firm body of good length. Good legs and in proportion to body. Round paws. Thickish tail and length to balance. Short coat of very good texture and colour. Interesting pattern and contrast. Well balanced cat overall shown in very good condition. Just a trifle tense. BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL PRE CHAMPION
1CC MCDONALT & QUINNS RAKASTA LUSTROUS LEONARDO Good head, medium wedge slightly longer than wide. Full muzzle and good whisker pads. Good profile and chin. Medium ears good setting. Nice eyes. Body very good length and well muscled. Strong legs medium length. Round paws. Thick tail of good length. Coat short and close lying and wonderful texture and pattern with lots of glitter. Trifle tense not showing as well as he might. Nevertheless a very handsome cat and typy.
2 KENNEDYS BUNDAS GUSTO. Very good head and well balanced. Good length for width. High cheek bones. Good profile and chin. Medium ears well set. Lovely eyes. Good length body and well muscled. Good legs good bone. Round paws. Good length tail and thick. Coat superb texture and lovely pattern and contrast. Short coat and close lying. Splendid fellow shown in very good condition and
with so much to say.
SNOW SPOTTED BENGAL PRE CHAMPION
1 CC BOB DMYTRIYEVA WILDSIDE SNOW PRINCESS (76a30) Very good head slightly longer than wide. Good moderate wedge, good profile and chin well set ears. Greenish/blue eyes trifle full (temper?)Strong body of good length. Medium legs and good bone. Round paws. Tail thick and length to balance. Lovely coat of very good texture, pattern and contrast. Very pretty cat not on her best behaviour today but upset rather than truly aggressive. Hence CC

1 1C BOB CREANS SELSKAR KIKO (80L/5e) Very good well balanced head. Good modified wedge and good width between medium ears. Good profile and chin. Expressive eyes. Medium body and good muscle tone Medium legs, neat paws. Good tail and plumed and length to balance, Very good coat length and texture and good preparation. Charming girl and affectionate, typy and elegant. Pleasure to judge.

Firm body, good length and weight. Very good legs and paws. Good length tail thick at base. Lots of curly fur. Lovely coat very good length and texture and very curly indeed. Well prepared. Delightful
little girl and a joy to handle and shown in splendid condition and so very friendly. Needs time.

lovely pattern. Excellent texture. Handsome male, very striking but very nervous and unwilling to leave pen. A lovely cat shown in super condition but upset today.

Very good short head, full cheeks, good stop and whisker break. Chin just a fraction shallow. Bite level. Large ears good shape and setting. Lovely eyes. Strong body and well proportioned and lovely
neck. Long slim legs and dainty paws. Very good length tapered tail Superb coat beautifully rexed and groomed to perfection.Beautiful girl and sweet natured and shown in wonderful condition. A pleasure

1 BOB LENIHANS KYOMI KOHANA (29c) Very good head, good length wedge straight profile and good chin. Level bite (still has double teeth) Large well set ears. Green Oriental eyes and alert expression.
Long firm body of good weight. Long slim legs and dainty oval paws. Long tapered tail. Beautiful coat colour and sound. Short and close lying. Delicious kitten stylish, elegant and glamorous and shown in very good condition. I predict a bright future on the show bench.
