My sincere thanks to Sylvia Smith and the committee for a great and successful day at the 4th championship show at Farnborough and also for their invitation for me to judge the non-pedigree section. My thanks also to Mrs Christine Freeman who stewarded for me; she handled the cats confidently and with care; she was great company and very helpful.

Many thanks for the invitation to this friendly show where all the Committee are intent on making the event a success. Congratulations to Sylvia Smith and her team - the table workers formed an impressive line up. The lunch was prepared by Eileen Ridgeway to her usual high standard and was much appreciated. Some high quality exhibits to judge and an excellent steward in Graham Haggar who stepped in to steward and was a great help and good company. Thank you for the delicious present and for the gift from last year which, though undeserved, was truly appreciated.

M. 23.9.08 A large, very nervous boy of good type, he has a large, slightly pinched wedge head, very wide top and large ears which he insists on holding a little low, almost straight profile, deep chin and level bite, slightly full eyes of mid blue, not the darker blue preferred in a chocolate point, large strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tail, good chocolate points and ivory body so very clear contrast, short fine coat, a dear boy well presented in excellent condition.

F. 25.6.08 A small girl of fairly good type, she has a medium sized slightly short wedge head, wide top and large well set ears, almost straight profile, firm chin and level bite, oriental eyes of fair blue, they really need to be deeper as she is a seal tortie. A sweet girl well presented in good condition.
Thanks to Sylvia and the show management team for the invitation to judge, and for the excellent lunch. Good to see a healthy entry, breaking the downward trend in most shows, even if it meant that I was kept busy. Thanks also to Rosie who stepped in when my booked steward was unable to attend.
Open Classes
Breed 24 Balinese Adult, Male
1+CC+BOX Pinington’s SPINDIAMOND INBLUEJEANS (61a) 13 Aug 06
A mature lad of good type. Medium length even wedge, good width at the top, well set ears would ideally be a little larger. Dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape, set a little straight, of a good depth of blue. Long muscular but slightly lightweight body, long legs with largish paws, tail needing an extra inch or two for balance. Points of a blue which is on the dark side but still acceptable, a brownish tinge to the tail most likely the result of sunbathing, lightly shaded body. Coat of good length and texture, frilling a little round the neck, with a touch of unwanted undercoat to the upper sides, good plume. Rather shy but handled well, excellent presentation. I did hesitate over the award of the certificate, but in the end decided he just made the grade.
Breed 24 Balinese Adult, Female
1+CC+BOB Pinington’s CH SPINDIAMOND REMEMBERME (61b) 4 Apr 05
An attractive girl of good type. Medium length wedge with a small pinch, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile straight but slightly angled down from the bridge of the nose, firm chin, bite scissored over. Eyes of good shape and set, and a good depth of blue. Long slender body, long legs with neat paws, tail needing an extra inch for balance. Points of a darkish shade of warm chocolate, all a little brindled, unshaded warm toned body. Coat of good length and flow and excellent texture, excellent temperament and presentation.
Breed 32 Balinese Adult, Male
1 (CC N/A) Davison’s BUZZ WHISPER (61nt) 14 Sep 08
A ten month old lad needing to develop considerably both in size and masculinity, of goodish type. Longish wedge needing more width at the top, large ears set rather high. Profile almost straight, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape but very full, rather dominating the head, I should prefer a slightly deeper shade of blue. Long slender body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra inch for balance. Fairly well marked in blue-based caramel, facial markings rather blurred though thumbprints in evidence, good leg bars, well ringed tail. Lightly shaded body, coat of good length and excellent texture. Very apprehensive though he handled well, excellent presentation.
Breed 32 Balinese Adult, Female
1+CC+BOB Woodhouse’s DORAL IMOGENE (61e) 22 Jun 07
An impressive mature girl of good type. Strong medium length wedge head, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile almost straight, firm chin, bite level though a little messy. Eyes of very good shape, well set, I should prefer them a slightly deeper shade of blue. Long firm body, long legs with largish paws, tail needing an extra fraction to balance. Points a good seal well broken with shades of red, with plenty of bright red in evidence, lightly shaded body. Coat of good length and excellent silky texture. Handled well, though with a bit of tortie temperament, excellent presentation.
2 Smith’s JAYMAX HEAVON SENT (61p) 20 Jun 08
The youngster of the class but not lacking in maturity, a girl of good type. Medium length even wedge, a trifle broad in the muzzle, needing a fraction more width at the top, well set ears of reasonably large size. Profile almost straight, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set, a little wide at first but better when she relaxed, of a reasonably good depth of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with reasonably neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points an attractive lilac-based caramel very well broken with shades of apricot, with plenty of the deeper shades in evidence. Coat a little short over the first quarter of the body but of good length elsewhere, of an excellent texture, good plume and other furnishings. Excellent temperament and presentation.
3 Woodhouse’s CH DORAL INYOURDREAMS (61e) 22 Jun 07
A mature girl of good type, in many ways similar to her litter sister Imogene. Medium length even wedge a little broad in the muzzle, good width at the top, ears reasonably large and well set. Small dip in profile, firm chin, level bite lacking many incisors. Eyes of good basic shape but she would open them rather wide, well set, needing slightly more depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with largish paws, tail needing an extra inch to balance. Points of a good seal all well broken with some bright red in the mixture, lightly shaded body a little cool in tone. Coat of good length except over the shoulders, of excellent texture and flowing well. A little shy but handled well, excellent presentation.
4 Pinington’s SPINDIAMOND HELLOAGAIN (61p) 26 Jun 07
A girl of reasonably good type. Medium length even wedge, needing a little more width at the top, well set ears would ideally be a little larger. Small dip in profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes a little small and set a little far apart, of good basic shape though she did open them rather wide, needing a little more depth of blue. Medium length rather lightweight body, long legs with largish paws, tail needs an extra inch to balance. Points of a blue-based caramel all broken with shades of apricot, though mostly lacking in the deeper tones. Lightly shaded body, coat of good length except over the shoulders, and of excellent texture and flow, good plume. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Also considered for BOB Pinington’s GR CH SPINDIAMOND PLAYME (61e) 4 Aug 99
A girl of good type, and in good shape for an almost ten-year old, but I would think has looked better in the past. Medium length even wedge rather broad in the muzzle, good width at the top, well set ears needing to be a little larger. Rather a dip in the profile now, firm chin, no incisors now but gums level. Eyes of good shape and set, I should prefer a little more depth of blue. Medium length firm and substantial body, long legs with large paws – one of the attractions of Balinese I think, even if the Standard disagrees. Tail distinctly on the short side. Points of a good seal, all well broken but lacking in real red, body moderately shaded. Coat of good length, mostly of good texture but a little harsh along the upper back, good toe and ear furnishing but the plume could be better. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Red Point Adult
BOB Armstrong’s CH JOHPAS RED ROUE M 19 Oct 07
A very impressive lad of excellent type. Long even balanced wedge with good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, very firm chin, level bite. Eyes of good shape and set though slightly small, of a good depth of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, tail needing an extra inch to balance and with a touch of treated stud tail at the base. Points of a rather pale red, some colour on his legs, unshaded warm white body, coat a little long but of very good texture. Excellent temperament, especially for an entire male, excellent presentation. Later on, my choice for Best Siamese Adult (a unanimous choice, as it turned out) and congratulations on then going on to become Best Exhibit.
Chocolate Point Kitten, Male
1+BOB PLEZETOBE AKILA OUBASTET 6 Dec 08
A well grown lad of good type. Long wedge with a small pinch, needing a fraction more width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm slightly shallow chin, bite scissored over. Eyes of good shape and set though he did open them rather wide when out of his pen, of a good depth of blue. Long muscular body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points quite a dark chocolate though warm, at the moment I think just acceptable though I do hope they do not darken further, all somewhat brindled. Unshaded ivory body which ideally would be warmer in tone, close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Chocolate Point Kitten, Female
1+BOX PLEZETOBE MISS ABICASA 6 Dec 08
A girl of good type, not as well grown as her brother. Longish wedge with a small pinch, needing a little more width at the top, well set large ears. Profile almost straight, chin ebbs a little, bite level. Eyes of very good shape and set and good depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a darkish warm chocolate, rather incomplete as yet, and all rather brindled making her colour appear better at first start than it actually was. Unshaded body a little cool in tone, close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Lilac Point Kitten
1+BOB Sibley’s ATARIQ FIORI MN 25 Jan 09
A handsome well-developed lad of good type. Long even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Profile straight except for a bump on the nose, firm but rather shallow chin, bite level. Eyes of very good shaper and set and good depth of blue. Long firm muscular body, long legs with largish paws, balancing length of tail. Points a darkish lilac and lacking in pinky tones giving rather a flat effect but without the brownish overtones which would suggest he might be other than lilac. Very lightly shaded warm toned body, close coat of excellent texture. Superb temperament, excellent presentation.
Cream Point Kitten
1+BOB Muir-Taylor’s JOHPAS FATBOYSLIM M 12 Feb 09
A promising and well-grown lad of very good type. Strong even medium length wedge, very good width at the top, very large ears set a fraction low. 1+PC+BOB Esterford-Howard’s GR CH & PR RANTIPOLE FARRAGO MN 16 Feb 02
A friendly lad of good type. Longish balanced even wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Dip in profile, perhaps attributable to his age, firm chin, level bite lacking most incisors. Expressive eyes of good shape and set and good depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needs an extra fraction for balance. Points a good bright red, lightly shaded body, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
2 Ridgeway’s HARTZIE PRINCE CHARMING MN 8 Apr 08
A lad of good type but not looking on top form today. Long wedge, overlong for my taste in the muzzle, needing a little more width at the top for balance, large ears set in line. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and exaggerated set, rather deep set and with the haws up rather, needing a little more depth of blue. Very long firm body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points a palish red, unshaded body, coat short but a little open. Excellent temperament and presentation
Tortie Point Neuter
BOB Cook’s IMP GR CH & IMP GR PR TIANLEX INDIES BLUEBLAZER (32b2) FN 1 Mar 01
A lovely old girl of excellent type, and hardly showing her age. Well balanced longish wedge, good width at the top, well set large ears. Small dip in profile now, firm deep chin, bite level though missing most incisors. Expressive eyes of excellent shape and set, of a good depth of blue. Long substantial body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points of darkish blue all well mingled with shades of cool-toned cream, moderately shaded body but still good contrast, close coat of excellent texture. Excellent temperament and presentation. Later my choice for Best Siamese Neuter, also a unanimous one.

x2 Janicki’s SHERMESE LIFE O’ RILEY (32/1) 10 Sep 08
A lad of good type at present very immature and lacking masculinity, though as a youngster he still has hope of achieving it. Longish even wedge, good width at the top, something of a bump at the rear, well set large ears. Straight profile, chin ebbs marginally, bite scissored over. Eyes of very good shape and set which he was inclined to open a little wide, of a very good depth of blue. Long body needing to fill out rather, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail. Points marked in a good warm seal, fairly clear “M”, good ribbons, fair thumbprints, Fairly good leg bars, tail half ringed. Moderately shaded body still giving good contrast, close coat of good texture. Excellent temperament and presentation.
Tabby Point Neuter, Female
1+PC+BOX Davis’s IAMSIAM KARISMA (32t3) 31 Oct 07
A very nervous girl of good type, whom we did manage to persuade to semi-relax. Longish even wedge, very good width at the top, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Eyes of good shape and set though a little full, of a good depth of blue. Long firm body, long legs with neat paws, tail needing an extra inch to balance. Points marked in a dark chocolate with some mingling in mostly pale red. Good facial markings, surprisingly clear thumbprints for a tortie tabby, good leg bars, well ringed tail. Very lightly shaded body, coat a fraction long but of good texture. Excellent presentation.
2 Tobias’s NATHIFA GLIMMEROFLIGHT (32/5) 13 May 08
A rather small and still kittenish-looking girl of good type, very timid and unwilling to be handled or show herself to any advantage. Long even wedge a little fine in the muzzle, good width at the top, small bump at the rear, well set large ears. Straight profile, firm chin, bite a little over. Eyes of good shape though opened a little wide, set a little straight, of a good depth of colour. Long rather lightweight body, long legs with neat paws, balancing length of tail with a tiny irregularity at the tip. Marked in a good bright red, good facial markings and thumbprints, well ringed tail, leg bars hardly present yet, not unexpected in a young red. Unshaded body, close coat of good texture. Excellent presentation.

AC BALINESE/SIAMESE GRAND CHAMPION MALE
GR CH, ARMSTRONG’S CH JOHPAS RED ROUE. (32a) 19.10.07. Red Point Siamese. Excellent type and style – I was thrilled to hear that this certificate made him up to Grand. Superb strong wedge head with lovely size to wide based ears, beautifully set to follow the lines of his wedge. Strong profile, good chin, level bite. Gorgeous eyes and expression – deep vivid blue in colour. Long well muscled body, tall and very elegant in stature. Whip tail needs an extra inch – just a tiny bit of stud tail at the base which he has had treated. Bright red/gold points well matched on his ears mask and tail. Some colour on his legs which, as one would expect, was paler in tone. Un-shaded warm white body – contrast excellent – his coat a touch long but of good texture and well prepared. Gentle temperament – beautifully presented - congratulations on his further achievement later in the day – Best Exhibit no less!!
RES, MARTIN’S GR CH GLENTHORNE CONSTANTINE. (24) 14.12.05. Seal Point Siamese. A very handsome and mature gentleman with a truly wonderful temperament. Strong long wedge head, tiny pinch to muzzle, large wide based ears beautifully set and flared. Very good strong profile, chin goes back a bit, the bite acceptable. Bright vivid blue oriental eyes – lovely expression. Long hard and muscular body with elegant neckline and long strong legs. Good whip tail. Very dark well matched seal points – just warm enough. Body shaded but still with plenty of contrast – his coat beautifully short and close. Looking most regal relaxing in his double pen.
AC BALINESE/SIAMESE GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE
GR CH, PUMMELL’S CH FURRYFACE ATHENA. (32/3) 8.11.06. Chocolate Tabby Point Siamese. A very attractive and mature looking queen. Strong even wedge head with large wide based and well set ears. Very good straight profile, deep firm chin, spot on level bite – lovely clean and sparkling white teeth. Lovely expression and excellent oriental shape and set to her eyes which although show good depth of blue, perhaps could be a touch more intense. Mid length body firm and well toned, slim legs, good whip tail with clear rings for about ½ the length. Mid chocolate tabby markings which ideally could be a touch warmer, but they were all well defined. Good thumb prints. Clear M, single cheek ribbons and pin prick whisker spots to her mask. Paler leg bars and arm bands. Lightly shaded ivory body - superb short, close fitting coat – beautifully prepared. Excellent presentation – congratulations on making her up to Grand today.
RES W/H, 2 SIBLEY’S CH ABICASA PRINCESS ABIGAILLE. (24n) 13.2.07. Caramel Point Siamese. A lovely big strong queen - very impressive for both type and substance. Strong wedge head with large ears, wide at the base and very well set. Near straight profile, firm chin, level bite. Slightly full dark blue eyes. Long strong body, lovely feel to her. Long strong legs. Long tapered tail. My problem was with her colour which, given the day light available in this hall, was certainly open to conjecture. The points were a very dark blue tone, well matched on ears and mask, the tail darker, but showing no sign of the sludgy brownish overtones I would expect to see in a mature Caramel Point. Body heavily shaded giving little contrast – her coat of superb texture, very short and close. Presentation and temperament both excellent.
CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE ADULT
CC W/H, 1 GRAY’S LYNNOX KASANOVA. 23.9.08. A handsome youngster of good overall type, but very unsure of himself. Long wedge head, small muzzle pinch. Ears large and wide at the base – well set but he holds them almost flat with nerves. Near straight profile, firm chin, level bite. Eyes of good oriental shape and set, but held full and requiring much more depth and intensity to the colour. Long elegant body and neckline – well muscled, and developed in line with his age. Long slender legs. Long whip tail. Mid warm chocolate points, not fully developed on his mask as yet with pale chin and whisker pads plus ‘specs’. Un-shaded ivory body – excellent contrast, his coat short and close. Beautifully presented, but so frightened – I understand from his owner that unfortunately he has had a previous bad experience.
AC BALINESE/SIAMESE GRAND PREMIER MALE
GR PR, TOBIAS’S IGR PR SHERMESE FUNANDGAMES. (32/1) 9.9.06. Seal Tabby Point Siamese. Lovely boy – excellent type. Long strong wedge head with large wide based and beautifully set ears. Straight profile, chin fades, bite level. Very expressive dark blue oriental eyes. Long well nourished muscular body with long strong legs and long whip tail, well ringed for about ½ the length. Seal tabby markings overall well defined. Clear round thumb prints. M, single cheek ribbons and dark whisker spots to his mask. Slightly paler leg bars and arm bands. Lightly shaded body – very good contrast. Coat of excellent texture, a touch long but close lying. Wonderful temperament – beautifully presented.
RES, ESTERFORD-HOWARD’S CH & PR MAPU MALACHITE. (32/8) 18.6.07. Caramel Tabby Point Siamese. A handsome lad, not quite so big and masculine as the winner but of very good overall type. Strong mid length wedge head with large ears, wide at the base and set to follow the lines of his wedge. Very good straight profile with a firm chin. Teeth rather untidy with quite a few missing, but the bite level. Gorgeous eyes and expression – deep sparking blue in tone. Long well muscled body – nice firm feel to him. Long slender legs. Tail needs a touch more length for perfect balance. Lilac based caramel tabby markings, overall well defined. No thumb prints (not unusual in a caramel tabby). Slightly muted M, single ribbons and pale pin prick whisker spots to mask. Shadow leg bars and arm bands. Good rings for the best part of his tail. Virtually un-shaded off white body - glistens over his back. Superb texture to coat, very short, close and beautifully prepared. Presentation and temperament both excellent.
AC BALINESE/SIAMESE GRAND PREMIER FEMALE
GR PR, COOK’S IGR CH & IGR PR TIANLEX INDIES BLUEBLAZER. (32b2) 1.3.01. Blue Tortie Point Siamese. Into her ninth year and still looking wonderful – every inch the beauty queen. Lovely dark blue oriental eyes – glorious expression. Long well nourished body with legs and tail in balance. Slightly dark blue tortie points very well mingled with shades of dark and paler cream. Body shows some tortie shading but there is still plenty of contrast. Short close coat of excellent texture and beautifully prepared. Superb temperament – later Best Siamese Neuter – very well deserved.
RES, FREEMAN’S CH & PR KRISTIKATS SERAPHINA. (24c) 9.12.06. Lilac Point Siamese. A very pretty girl, very good overall type and style, unlucky today to meet such strong competition. Strong well balanced wedge head with large well set ears, near straight profile, firm chin and level bite. Dark blue and expressive oriental eyes. Long firm body, elegant and graceful neckline, long slim legs, long whip tail – all very well balanced. Soft mid lilac points showing correct pinkish tones. BOB ONLY, MUIR-TAYLOR’S SUP UK IGR PR TIANLEX FULL MONTY. 14.3.03. Wonderful boy – the ‘cream’ of the Siamese world (pardon the pun) – I was indeed honoured to see, and handle him again! Very long strong wedge head with large wide based and beautifully set ears. Strong profile, deep chin, level bite. Oriental dark blue eyes - exaggerated in shape and rather deep set – the haws showing today. Extremely long, strong and well nourished body. Very long tall legs. Very long whip tail. Points quite dark in tone but well matched, his body shows shading but still with adequate contrast. Coat short and close, of excellent texture. His temperament pure showman, his presentation superb – long may he reign.
CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE NEUTER
PC W/H, MARTIN’S PR ABICASA PEER GYNT. 14.2.08. A very stylish boy – head on quite stunning to look at, however he does have a noticeable protrusion at the back of his head which was my reason for withholding. I learnt from his owner afterwards that this is the result of an injury, so hopefully it will not be permanent. Strong wedge head with very large widely flared ears, beautifully set but which he can drop fractionally low. Dark blue expressive oriental eyes. Long strong body, long legs and tail. Dark blue based caramel points with correct brownish overtones. Off white shaded body. Beautifully prepared, superb short, close coat. Delightful temperament – excellent presentation.
2 COSGROVE’S PR BETHANJO THEADORE. 18.6.07. A big strong boy of good overall type and balance. Long wedge head with large ears, wide at the base butt which he holds slightly forward. Good profile, firm chin, level bite. Eyes a touch full in shape and require much more depth and intensity to the colour. Long well nourished muscular body with long strong legs and a long well tapered tail. Blue based caramel points, quite well matched and showing correct brownish overtones. Some shading to his off white body. Coat of good texture. Lovely temperament and beautifully presented.

1 SMITH’S CASPA. (short hair) MN 25.10.08. A delightful tabby point Siamese type kitten, well grown, in fact almost adult. Very elegant and stylish in type. Bright blue eyes - lovely trusting expression. Superb short close lying coat – excellent texture. Typical of the Siamese breed, he had such a lot to tell us about – a real character.
A really lovely friendly well-organised Show which was rewarded with a bumper entry of some high quality Exhibits – indeed the BIS Kitten line-up was a close run thing with about 4 of them deserving the award.
Thanks go to Pat – and well done on your good day with the lovely Daisy!
SEAL POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE
Considered for and awarded BOB MARTIN’S GRCH GLENTHORNE CONSTANTINE (24) M 14/12/05 A boy with an endearing temperament – he must be a joy to live with. Quite a long wedge which is pleasing front on having wide based ears set following lines, tiny pinch, almost straight profile, chin ebbs away significantly and the bite just about ok, oriental eyes of bright blue, lovely long neck carriage and firm body lines, whip tail – just needs another inch to balance, treated stud tail evident, fine legs. Very dark toned points – would like a touch more warmth to them perhaps – and the mask is creeping over the top of the head, the body also heavily shaded. Lovely texture to his coat. Comfortably penned.
BLUE POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE
1 CC and BOB SIBLEY’S ATARIQ SIAN (24a) F 28/8/08 Youngster whose growth is as it should be for her young age. Neat even wedge with strong firm chin lines, bite ok, well set ears, could be a little larger ideally, oriental eyes of a very pleasing depth of blue, small rise over brow in profile, firm little body still needing to lengthen and harden with maturity, fine whip/Points of a medium toned blue with correct cold body colour and minimal shading as yet. Her coat of a very good length and texture.
2 WOODHOUSE’S CH DORAL ELIZADOOLITTLE F 17/9/05 A rather unbalanced girl as her slightly large rotund body dwarfs her petite short wedge, ears are well set but need to be a tad larger, even lines with no pinch evident, almost straight profile, good chin and bite, eyes rather full in shape but of a good depth of colour, short well nourished body, with whip tail that just about balances, elegant legs and neat paws/Points dark in tone – although well matched, base correct cold tone but she is heavily shaded. Coat a little long but of good texture.
LILAC POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE
1 (CC and BOB w/h) SINGLE’S SINOPE FERN F 24/7/08 A very kittenish young Miss who needs to mature and grow on. Medium wedge with large ears that need to be more open to the base and a little more width between, eyes are full in shape of a pleasing depth and brightness of blue, dip to profile, chin could be a touch firmer, level bite, fine neck, short immature body – needing to lengthen and tone – whip tail, fine legs. Points dark but show a good pinky tone and her body colour was excellent, coat a little long but of very good texture.
AC SIAMESE NON BREEDERS ADULT MALE
1 ARMSTRONG’S CH JOHPAS RED ROUE (32a) M 19/10/07 Gorgeous head line and carriage with open based ears set following the lines, oriental eyes of lovely expression and depth of colour, tiny bump to nose, firm chin and level bite, long body and muscled body, whip tail that needs another couple of inches ideally – evidence of treated stud tail – fine legs and quite large paws. Points of a good bright red gold – paler stocking as is usual and unshaded ‘bright’ white coat. Coat was long but of good texture. Handled well. Congratulations on Best Overall Exhibit and your new title today.
2 MARTIN’S GRCH GLENTHORNE CONSTANTINE (24) M 14/12/05
AC SIAMESE NON BREEDERS ADULT FEMALE
1 SIMPSON’S MAFDET LOVEMUFFIN (32/3) F 29/9/08 A choc tabby lady of very good overall type. Long wedge with straight profile wide topline giving a pleasing picture, oriental eyes of bright blue, small pinch, chin and bite ok, long neck and body – this of good firm tone – excellent fine long whip, stands tall on elegant legs. Points dark warm choc – no leg bracelets hardly visible, which was interesting as her other markings, were well defined. Excellent coat texture.
2 PUMMELL’S CH FURRYFACE ATHENA (32/3) F 8/11/06 A mature choc tabby who had a very strong head with straight profile and reasonable well set ears – ideally they need to be a little more open to the base to fix the setting, oriental eyes of medium toned blue, firm depth of chin and level bite, rather short to body which unbalanced her a little I felt, whip tail that needs an inch. Points dark choc well matched but needing touch more warmth to them, clear facial tracings and thumbprints, broken bracelets and tail rings for about half-length.
3 SIBLEY’S CH ABICASA PRINCESS ABIGAILLE (24n) F 13/2/07 She looked blue to me – albeit dark!
AC SIAMESE BREEDERS KITTEN MALE
1 SIMPSON’S SHERMESE FABULOUS FABERGE (24) M 10/2/09 Promising seal lad. Long wedge just a tad fine to muzzle, lovely wide topline with a roman profile – always lovely to see! – Eyes set rather straight but of deep blue, firm depth to chin and level bite, long neck and body development in line with age, fine whip. Points slightly black but well matched – his body colour a touch too white as yet. Excellent coat texture and presentation.
SIBLEY’S ATARIQ FIORO (24c) MN 25/1/09 Long wedge with pronounced bump to nose, ears are a good size but set forward and unbalances the headlines, eyes of good shape and depth of colour, chin shallow but bite ok, very well grown body firm and muscular already, tail of good length just slightly heavy, strong legs and large paws. Points rather murky and dingy toned – more akin to brown than pink grey. (I feel he could well be!) Body of warm tone. Excellent coat texture and presentation.
AC SIAMESE BREEDERS KITTEN FEMALE
1 SIMPSON’S SHERMESE TRULY DEVINE (24) F 10/3/09 A seal miss who looked much better out of the pen - she had a really strong almost masculine wedge to her, large open based ears – ideally needing a touch more width between to balance the strength (had a small cyst to top of head I noted), oriental eyes of a lovely intense blue – transient squint to left prob teething – deep perpendicular chin and level bite, firm strong little body and whip tail, quite sturdy legs I noted. Points warm dark seal brown – very well matched for her tender age – and correct body colour
2 HOMER-WHEELER’S WITHAJAY JOINTHEDOTS (32fn) F 7/2/09 A strong well balanced apricot lass with a medium wedge with large ears that are well set but just need to be a little more open to the base to fix the setting and even the lines when viewed head on, straight profile with firm depth to chin and level bite, slightly square to muzzle at present but she would persist in puffing her pads in excitement. Oriental eyes of good depth of blue, firm bodylines – nice strength to her – whip tail and another one with sturdy legs and boots to fill! Points have a typical warm’ glow’ to them already - with an overcast of a blue haze almost to the mask. Excellent coat texture – just a fraction long.
AV NOVICE KITTEN
1 SIMPSON’S SHERMESE FABULOUS FABERGE (24) M 10/2/09
2 WEBSTER’S JOMESE JESSE JAMES (32/1) MN 6/11/08 Seal tabby of good overall type. Strong wedge with small pinch, ears large and open based and a good set, good eye shape and colour – haws up today and they looked a little pink rimmed–bump to nose, firm chin and bite, body needing to lengthen a tad and develop with a fine whip and quite heavy legs. Points rather black toned and lacking some warmth however his pattern is very well defined, he could do with a few more tail rings though, coat has a good degree of warmth to it and is of good texture.
3 LLOYD’S RIDESTAR AFRICAN VIOLET (61dt) F 23/3/09
AV LIMIT KITTEN
1 MARTIN’S PLEZETOBE MISS ABICASA (24b) F 6/12/08 Quite an elegant lass. Long wedge rather sharp to muzzle, ears of good size but needing a little more width between, eyes of good shape and colour, almost straight profile, small pinch, chin could a tad stronger but bite level, long neck and well developed length and tone of body with a fine whip and lengthy legs. Points warm and well matched- specs around eyes - her body colour a touch too white at present. Lovely coat qualities.
2 EMGLISH’S PLEZETOBE AKILA OUBASTET (24b) M 6/12/08 Long wedge with sharp muzzle lines, ears are large but set a little too close and held as a result a little too high, eyes a little round in shape but of good depth of blue, almost straight profile, chin rounds and bite fractionally over, long neck and body with a fine long whip tail. Points dark but warm and well matched - the body colour again needs a touch more warmth to it. Excellent texture and length.
3 WEBSTER’S JOMESE JESSE JAMES (32/1) MN 6/11/08
BALINESE NON BREEDERS FEMALE NEUTER
1 DAVIDSON’S SPINDIAMOND LOVETOLOVE (61) FN 28/10/00 Short round head – lacking oriental head type unfortunately with small ears set high on head, dip to profile, round pale eyes, chin rounds - few missing teeth which she can be allowed at a golden age, body well nourished with a short plume tail. Coat very short and thick – lacking length and silky flowing nature of the breed.
