1 AND BOB GIRAUDY’S GIRADELLE CHEETARO:  DOB 3.3.09:  A beautifully balanced head with fairly broad muzzle.  Good clear face markings and pattern.  Profile shows gentle rounded brow, slight curve to nose line, moderately firm chin and level bite.  Ears medium in size, wide at base with good width between and correctly set.  Eyes fairly round in shape, large in size and correctly set.  Body medium to long in length and feeling very strong and muscular. Legs medium in length, moderately strong and muscular with largish rounded paws. Leg pattern very clear being a mixture of broken rings and small spots.  Tail long,  although medium thick and even. Body  pattern  extends  unbroken down one third of tail and then breaks into clear rings ending in a black tip.   Coat  super short, very dense, luxurious and with the correct feel.   Coat colours a pale gold ground with dark brown large, very distinct spots,  most of which are rosetted.  Tummy clearly spotted, two necklaces and one chinstrap complete a super pattern.  A really super boy who was well presented and very easy to assess.
2 HERKES’ ADNIOSH PURE CHAOS:  DOB17.2.09:  Another super boy who ran the winner very close.  Head well balanced being a broad medium wedge with strong broad muzzle and a large and broad nose.  Face markings and pattern very clear and running over head and down neck flowing into a very complex shoulder pattern.  Profile good showing gentle curve to nose line, firm chin and level bite.  Ears a fraction on the large side at present but do have good width between and are correctly set.  Eyes large in size, oval in shape and correctly set.  Body has a good strong feel to it and is medium in length and well developed.  Legs medium in length and strong with  large rounded paws. Leg pattern shows primarily  rings with spotted paws.   Tail long, which balances body well but needs to be thicker.   Pattern very clear being a mixture of rings and dashes.  Coat super being short in length, dense and soft to the touch.  Coat colours a pale gold ground with medium sized dark brown spots, most of which are rosetted and clearly defined.  There are a couple of rib stripes on each side of the body at present.  Tummy clearly spotted, one chinstrap and two necklaces evident.  A well presented lad with a super temperament.  Lost out to the winner on rib stripes and a slightly fine tail.
3 FYFE’S GLITTERGLAM AGASSI:  DOB 11.03.09: Another welcoming lad with an absolutely stunning coat pattern and a lot to say for himself.  Head at present needs more width across top to balance its length.  Muzzle needs to be broader,  at present it is too narrow and gives the impression of having a slight pinch.  Maybe teething?  Good clear pattern and markings to face.  Profile shows the slightest of curves to the nose line, firm chin and level bite.  Ears medium in size with correct width between and well set.  Eyes almond in shape, large in size and correctly set.  Body very long and muscular with the correct feel to it.  Legs medium in length, muscular with a pattern of some rings but primarily spotted.  Tail long and very fine, almost a whip and a pattern of rings interspersed with small spots.  Coat very short, not particularly dense, although moderately soft to the touch. Coat colours a pale gold ground with very dark brown spots, almost all of which  were rosetted and very distinct.  Tummy very clearly spotted, two necklaces and one chin complete the pattern.  A very welcoming and chatty chap.  I awarded maximum points for coat pattern but felt his head, at present, was a little unbalanced.
4 PEACE’S BARIJKA RUPERT:  DOB 30.3.09:  This lad was the baby of the group.  Head very nice indeed being a broad medium wedge with a full and broad muzzle.  Nose large and broad with puffed nose leather.  Moderately good face markings and pattern.  Profile shows gentle curve to nose line, firm chin and level bite.  Ears medium in size with good width between and correctly set.  Eyes oval in shape, large in size and well set.  Body long in length and for his age well developed.  Legs of  medium  length,  muscular and showing broken rings by way of pattern.  Paws medium to large in size and rounded. Tail of correct length but I would prefer it thicker as I felt it a little lean. Tail markings and pattern good, showing  clear, mostly complete rings. Coat excellent being short in length, very dense, luxurious and soft to the touch.  Everything it should be and I felt the best in the class.  Coat colours are a bright gold ground with mid brown spots and a lovely pale tummy with clear mid brown spots.  Spot sizes range from medium to large, some of which are arrowheaded and most are generally well defined. A well presented lad who compared very favourably with higher placed cats. It was a case of my deciding that the coat contrast was not as strong as the other kittens.  Temperament was good and he was easy to assess although rather shy and retiring today.

BROWN (BLACK) SPOTTED 14 WKS – 6MTHS FEMALE KITTEN:
1 HERKES’ ADNIOSH HIPPY CHICK:  DOB 17.2.09:  This girl was the eldest in the class and litter sister to the male kitten placed second above, with strong similarities.  Head well balanced being a broad medium wedge with strong broad muzzle and large and broad nose.  Face markings and pattern good and run over head and down neck where it scatters into  many little spots over shoulders.  Profile good showing gentle curve to nose line, firm chin and level bite.  Ears small to  medium in size with good width between and well set.  Eyes large in size, slightly oval in shape and correctly set.  Body medium to long in length and feeling strong and muscular for her size.  Legs medium in length and muscular with a pattern of mostly small spots.  Paws medium in size, rounded in shape and with a scattering of very small spots on toes.  Tail very nice, medium in length, thick and even with a rounded tip.    Coat very nice, short in length, dense and very soft to the touch.  Coat colours very pale gold ground with black spots.  Spot sizes are primarily small although there are lots and lots of them, giving a busy pattern with an excellent contrast.    Some spots are arrowheaded.    One chinstrap, two necklaces and a very well spotted tummy complete a good overall pattern.  This girl has a good temperament making her easy to assess.
2 GIRAUDY’S GIRADELLE CHARISMA:  DOB 3.3.09:  Another case of keeping it in the family as this girl is litter sister to the winner of the male class above.  Head a well-balanced broad medium wedge with good strong broad muzzle.  I would like the nose to be a fraction larger and broader.  Excellent  face markings and pattern.  Profile very nice,  showing the slightest of curves to nose line, moderately firm chin and level bite.  Ears medium in size with correct width between and well set.  Eyes large in size, slightly oval in shape and well set.  Body medium to long in length with a very good muscular feel to it.  Tail a little long but nonetheless moderately thick and seven.  Tail pattern a mixture of broken rings with a few small spots.  Coat short in length, although not particularly dense is fairly soft to the touch.  Coat colours a mid gold ground with large black spots, many of which are rosetted and all are clear and distinct.  Tummy moderately well spotted, two necklaces and one chin complete an overall good pattern.  A kitten with an excellent temperament making her easy to assess and  who was well presented.
3 PEACE’S BARIJKA RHEEA:  DOB 30.3.09:  This girl was almost the youngest in the class and oh so worried.  Head something of a  short rounded wedge although with good width across top.  Muzzle full and broad but does need to be longer.  Nose moderately broad with slightly puffed nose leather.  Good clear face markings and pattern that runs clearly over head and down neck onto shoulders.   Profile  shows a rounded brow but does have a gentle curve to nose line, shortish muzzle, moderately deep chin and level bite.  Ears very nice,  small, wide at base with good width between and correctly set.   Eyes large in size, almost round in shape and correctly set. Body  medium to long in length and very muscular for her age.  Legs medium in length, strong and muscular with large rounded paws.  Legs show a pattern of broken rings interspersed with a few spots.  Tail medium in length, fairly thick and even from base to tip.  Tail pattern good with clear broken rings.  Coat really lovely, short in length, fairly dense and luxurious and soft to the touch.  Coat colours pale beige ground with a pattern of  medium sized black spots giving excellent contrast.  I really loved this little baby and could have taken her home.  She was well presented but unfortunately very frightened by her surroundings.
4 ZAGNI’S ZUGZOG JESSICA ARAMIS:  DOB 20.2.09:  I am really sorry but something has been spilt on this page of my judges book and I cannot read enough of my notes to make a sensible report.

SNOW MARBLED BENGAL ADULT MALE
1 IC RICHMOND-WATSON’S IKLAS ROMEO  76b 20  M  4.8.05
Nearly four year old strong boy with a good length, muscular body of good size and weight. Medium length, strong legs and large rounded paws.  Medium length tail a trifle fine but carried low. Good length coat with some density but a bit open and greasy with evidence of stud tail. Medium wedge with very rounded contours, high cheek bones and head correctly small in proportion to the body.  In profile level plane from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve to nose then straight but slightly long line to tip.  Nose could be a bit broader perfection and a trifle fine at muzzle, level bite but shallow chin.  Medium sized ears, wide at base and rounded at tips. Strong blue colour to eyes, very full almost round in shape and slightly small for my preference. Snow Marbled Bengal of ivory ground colour with marbling in shades of brown which is fainter on sides, better on left than right side, deeper colour down spine and across shoulders and down legs and tail. Some evidence of classic tabby pattern but fortunately not quite matching and some ticking down spine. Good facial markings with ‘M’ on face, pencil lines on cheeks and vertical streaks over head.  Broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy.  Nice natured.

Attractive nearly seven year old lady with a medium to large body, long, sleek and muscular with medium length, well boned legs and large rounded paws.  Medium length tail, thick at base but tapering slightly to dark tip.  Short to medium length coat, fairly dense, soft and luxurious in texture.  Snow Marbled Bengal of ivory ground colour with markings in shades of brown. Colour more intense down spine and tail. Well defined and coloured marble pattern with good horizontal flow. Clear ‘M’ on face, pencil lines on cheeks, chin straps and vertical streaks over head.  A few broken lines and spots on legs, rings on tail and spots on tummy.  Broad, medium wedge with rounded contours, high cheek bones and head correctly small in proportion to body.  Good profile line from forehead to bridge of nose, slight concave curve to nose then straight to tip. Broad nose and rounded, broad muzzle, level bite but shallow chin. Pronounced whisker pads. Small to medium sized ears following the outer contours of the head, wide at base and rounded at tips.  Full, almond shaped, blue eyes, large and correctly slanted towards the base of the ear.  Nice natured.

PREFIX BRACE
A splendid entry in this breeders class and a real pleasure to judge.
1 MERCIER-SAUNDERS’S
SPARKLESPOTS PRINCE SUNSET 76 20  M  15.2.09
SPARKLESPOTS BLOSSOM  76b20  F  15.2.09
This pair of kittens really sparkled and lived up to their prefix name. The boy has a stunning marble pattern in black and brown against a rufus ground colour to his superb textured coat. He has a good head although the chin is slightly shallow and is well balanced with proportionate body and legs. The tail is just slightly long and fine. His sister has a lovely textured pale creamy coat with a pale brown marbled pattern and clear facial markings. Good head with bright blue eyes, just a bit shallow on the chin. They both had lovely temperaments and were in tip top condition. Congratulations to their breeder/owners.
2 GIRAUDY’S
GIRADELLE CHEETARO  76 30  M  3.3.09
GIRADELLE CHARISMA  76 30  F  3.3.09
This pair of kittens ran the winners very close but I definitely had a preference for the boy of these litter mates. An excellent overall kitten with excellent brown and black spotting against a pale, but warm toned rufus ground colour. Only four months of age and looking the part with a good head of very good breadth. His sister needs to develop a little more breadth to her head and grow into her ears but she had the most stunning spotting to her coat with spots right down to the end of her toes. Babies with lovely temperaments and lots of time to fulfil their early promise. Congratulations they did you proud.

BROWN (BLACK) MARBLED MALE KITTEN

1 AND BOB MERCIER-SAUNDERS SPARKLESPOTS PRINCE SUNSET  (76 20) M 15.2.09
A very good looking and well balanced Bengal kitten and while making allowances for his age he did have the correct balance of being slightly longer than wider to the head. The wedge was broadish and there were clearly rounded contours, for perfection I would have liked it a little broader but given his age, allowance had to be made.  The eyes were of good shape being oval and set with a slight slant to the ears. They were currently a deep golden-green green and clearly changing. He did have a broadish nose and the dip in profile was more than acceptable. The chin was acceptable but could have had a little more depth. The bite was good. The body showed a good muscle tone, it had length and was strong with good muscle tone developing. The legs were of medium length and they were slim but strong. The paws were of good shape, being almost round. The tail was very good for length and it tapered well not quite having the thickness as yet.  The coat on this boy was so attractive and of quality. It was short and quite dense which may develop with age and did have some softness. The pattern was outstanding especially the contrast between the base coat and the darker patterning which contained three colours – the ground, the markings and the dark outline. The base coat had a most attractive and super golden/orange rufous colouring to it and this was consistent throughout the coat with a slight paling to the belly but continued down to the legs and feet. The marbling pattern was distinct with swirled patches which were non-symmetrical. There was clearly horizontal flow to the pattern on the flanks. There was a well defined ‘M’ on the forehead and lines over this led over the head over the neck and down to the shoulder. There were clear mascara markings with a bold chin strap. The upper legs had defined stripes. The tummy was well spotted. The eyes rims, lips and nose leather were outlined in black and the paw pads and tail tip were black.   A very attractive kitten and his coat with its lovely rufous colouration across the coat  made this boy a worthy winner of the BOB today. Shown in really good condition.

BROWN (BLACK) MARBLED FEMALE KITTEN

1 BOIZARD-NEIL’S BAMBINO TRULY SCRUPTIOUS  76 20 M 26.03.09  A lovely kitten undoubtedly living up to her name and she was so cooperative and with a super nature.  I really liked her head showing good ear set with good width at the base. The shape showed a slightly longer head than wide and with good rounded contours. She possessed slightly raised whisker pads. There was a dip in the profile but it almost came to the edge of being too pronounced. The chin was of good depth and the bite was good. The eyes were very good for shape and size they were quite round but with a slight oval shape. They showed a good greenish colour in this light. The body was appropriately muscled for a female of this age. The legs were of medium length and she had well rounded paws of appropriate size. The tail was very good for length with a lovely shape and it was slightly thick.  The coat quality on this girl I would place above the BOB winner. She had a super texture it was soft and dense and really quite mature to the touch. Naturally this diffused the contrast a little but I believe the balance was correct between coat texture and definition.  The patterning was very good on the head and lower body. It was really unfortunately that the marbling on the sizde showed so much agouti invasion that the ticking obscured the pattering too much. This clearly reduced the contrast. There was some quality rufous orangey colouration to the base coat and the legs were nicely coloured. The ‘M’ on the forehead was well defined as were the lines that ran over the head on to the shoulders. The chin strap and mascara marking were so well defined as was the broken necklet. The stomach was well spotted.  The tail was well defined with rings. The eyes rims, lips and nose leather were outlined in black and the paw pads and tail tip were black.  This was such a lovely kitten whose coat quality was impressive I was just so disappointed that the marbled pattern was obscured. Let us hope...!   Shown in lovely condition.

AC NOT HAVING WON AC C, IC  OR MERIT ADULT

1 HERKES ZAWAKI MATRIX 76 30M  M 19.4.08  A strong male with good braod medium wedge. He was slightly longer than wide in the head. The profile did show a definite break though it was quite shallow. The muzzle was defined with raised whisker pads. The ears sat well on the head and were of good shape in medium size with good width at the base and correctly set as much to the sides as on top. The eyes were of good size but were not bold and were correctly shaped in round almost oval. The chin was of pleasing depth and the bite was good. The nose was quite broad. The body was sleek and muscular though he was just a little out of condition and being a working boy this could be in some ways expected. The coat too had many good qualities but it was not at its best I am sure. The legs were of good shape and were well muscled and the feet were almost rounded. The tail was medium length with a rounded tip and it did taper but could not be classified as particularly thick. The coat had good constrast between the spotting and the base coat which had a lovely orange rufous colouration to it. There was the usually agouti feature with paling around the lips and the head had an ‘M’ from which lines rose over the head breaking into spotting on the shoulders. There were mascara lines. The tummy was well spotted. He was a little darker on the spine line where the contrast was more diminished.  He cooperated really well. Present so well.

2 RICHMOND-WATSON  IKLAS ROMEO 76B20 M 4.8.05  Another strong looking boy who had quite good balance to the head which was just slightly longer than wide. He was just a little finer in the muzzle than I would have liked. There was good space on top and the ears were well set more to the sides than top and they were medium sized. The dip in profile was good being gentle and quite acceptable. The chin was of pleasing depth and the bite was good.  There was a slight raising of the whisker pads. The eyes were of super blue and they were rather good for shape and size almost rounded but not too bold. The body was firm and pleasingly well muscled. There was very pleasing contrast with the marking which were asymmetrical and quite unlike classic tabbying. For perfection i would have like more horizontal flow to the major pattern. There was rather a lot of agouti invasion on the head which reduced the contrast and definition of head pattern. The body showed pleasing contrast. The coat has a good dense yet soft and plush quality to it.  There was a visible ‘M’ on the forehead and lines could be seen over the head. There were spine lines down the body. The bold chin straps and mascara markings were seen. The tail was good for both length and shape having a really good thickness to it. The legs and feet were of good shape, well muscled and the feet themselves were quite rounded.  Very cooperative.

3 RILEY-JONES’S BAMBINO SUNSET  76 30 M 9.10.08
76 30  M  9.10.08  It was such a pity this boy was upset and a little confused and he was such a good looking boy. We went several time to get him out and it was decided not to test him. A really good head with excellent ears of smallish size sitting well on the head more on the sides than top. His eyes were lustrous and of good shape and set. The head showed a good broad medium wedge with rounding in the appropriate contours.   A pleasing chin and good bite.  However, for pefection I would have liked him to have just a little more length to the head. The coat was of excellent condition it was softish yet dense. There was an excellent orange rufousing to the base coat.  The spotting pattern show really good contrast being in dark brown. The definition too was very good.  The legs were of good length and the tail gave balance though it could have been a little thicker.  The legs were of good length and the feet were quite rounded. Such  a pity he was not in a good mood. He appeared to be in excellent condition.

AC SPOTTED KITTEN MALE  A  good class of kittens and difficult to tease apart.

1. HERKES ADNIOSH PURE CHAOS  76 30 M 17.02.09 I chose this boy who was of average age in this class at 5 months. He has such excellent balance and the head was of really good type. There was go dwith on top with a head that was slightly longer than wide. He had a super side profile which just the required amount of dip. The ears were so well set on the head being medium small and they were as much on the side as on the top. I would have liked them just a little less held upright. The eyes were of very good size and shape being almost round with a slight oval setting set with the require slant toward the base of the ear. The whisker pads were raised. A good bite. Though the overall effect was of gentle rounding to the head. The body was firm and had good developing muscle tone. The legs were of good length and gave elegance to the boy. The tail was good for length and shape. The coat quality was excellent being soft and dense but it lay quite well. The contrast was good with excellent spotting to the coat which showed well. There were clear mascara lines and a well defined ‘M’ on the head. The tummy was well spotted. There was a really good rufous golden yellow to the base coat and the spotting were well defined.  A striking boy. Shown in very good condition.

2. FYFE’S GLITTERGLAM AGASSI 76.30  M 11.03.09 Another strong kitten and he was only 4months old. A good head overall. I would have like the muzzle to be a little shorter. It possibly possessed just a little too much length. The ears were quite well set on the head and the dip in profile was good with a chin of pleasing depth. A good bite. The eyes were of good setting and shape almost rounded though slightly oval. The coat was of excellent quality. There was excellent contrast between the pale base  warm base coat and the spotting on the coat. There was excellent rosetting and some super arrowheads in the coat.  The definition was so good as well. The legs were really good for shape, length and they ended in quite rounded paws. The tail was good for length and shape just needing a little more thickness for perfection. Shown in very good condition.

3. NICHOLL’S BEAUSANCY LAURANCE 76B30 MN 7.11.08 This male also showed strength and overall had very good type. He had a good shaped head with pleasing rounded contours showing overall more length than breadth. The ears were well set on the head being medium small and tending to be just more to the side than top. They had good width between. The dip in profile was just a little more pronounced than I would have like but did not constitute a nose break. The chin was of pleasing depth. The bite was level.  The body was lithe of good length and it was well muscled. The legs were of good length, were well muscled and showed pleasing rounding to the paws. The coat on this boy was of good quality it was medium length quite dens and pleasingly soft. The ground colour was a cream colour with light brown spotting. There was some darkening to the points. The pattern showed quite well on the flanks but on the upper flanks and nearer the spine there was less contrast than desirable. The tummy was well spotted. There was an ‘M’ on the forehead and mascara markings. Shown in good condition.

4. PEACE’S BARIJKA RUPERT 76 30 M 30.3.09  A good size male whose  coat was impressive but I felt the head was just a little too short to meet the standard. The ear set was very good being medium small with good width at the base and with rounded tip. The dip in the profile was good and the chin depth was pleasing. The muzzle was short and he did show raised whisker pads. It was perhaps just a little fine, however. The chin was of pleasing depth.  The bite was good.  The eyes were of good overall shape being slightly oval with the correct turning of the lower lid towards the ear. The coat has a lovely texture it was soft, of medium length and dense. The orange rufousing was very rich and provided an excellent base coat to this cat. The darker brown spotting provided very good contrast especially on the lower flanks. However, there was a little lack of contrast near the spine line Shown in very good condition.

5. PEACE’S BARIJKA VIKAS 76 30  M 7.4.08 A strong looking kitten with overall very good type. The head again just appeared, at the moment to be a little shorter overall. He possessed a good ears set and the eyes were typically oval in shape and set well. The dip in profile was acceptable and the chin was of pleasing depth and the bite good. The muzzle was just a little short.  The coat quality was good with pleasing texture, medium length and good overall density. The base coat had a lovely deep orange rufous colouration The spotting was of good quality with very pleasing contrast. There was a well defined ‘M’ with lines over the head, mascara markings and chin straps. There was spotting on the tummy.  Shown in good condition.

6 HERBST’S SONARGAON TOTO 76 30 M 2.1.09 This kitten had a  really well balance head which was unfortunately let down by a rather too defined nose break and bump on the nose. This was such a pity as he did have a nicely balance head overall. The head was just longer than the width. The ear set was good and they were of good size. The ears were of pleasing oval shape almost rounded. The muzzle was of good rounding with raised whisker pads. The bite was good and the chin was of pleasing depth. The coat showed good contrast to the spotting pattern  and the coat had discernable glitter. The tummy was spotted. There was a defined ‘M’ as well as a strong chin strap and mascar markings with an unbroken necklet. He had legs of good length and shape and feet of good rounding. Shown in very good condition.

AC SPOTTED KITTEN FEMALE

1 ZAGNI’S ZUGZOG JESSICA ARAMIS 76 30 F  20.2.09 I was really impressed by this young female who had an excellent balance of good type and good coat quality hence putting her into first place. A lovely well balanced head just slightly longer than wide with good width on top and showing good ears set of medium small size just so well set on the head. She possessed a very good side profile with an ideal dip in the profile and a chin of pleasing depth. A good depth of chin and a good bite. The eyes were very good begin slightly oval from round and the colour was a deep amber. The body was lithe amd muscular and typical for a female of this breed and age. The legs wer of medium length and were strong and muscular. The tail was of mdium length and had some thickness and ended in a rounded tip.  The coat was of very good quality it was medium in length and was quite luxurious with a noticable density yet possessing a softness to the touch. The pattern was excellent shwoing excellent contrast betwen the spotting and pale rufous undercoat which had very little agouti invasion to it. There was also a noticeable glitter. The spots were largish in size and some were well shaped as arrow heads. She was just a little darker to the base coat at the spine line but this did not detract significantly from the excellent overall contrast. The definition of the spotting was good. The tummy was spotted. There was a well defined ‘M’ and lines ran over the head. There was a strong chin strap and mascara lines and un-broken necklet.  A really attractive girl of good quality and shown so well.

2 HERKES ADNIOSH HIPPY CHICK 76 30 F  17.2.09  Another very attractive girl and overall  not a great deal between the winner and this girl them apart from the coat. The type was again very good indeed. There was a good balanced head with a broadish medium with rounded contours being slightly longer than wide. The profile was very good having a slight dip as required. The chin was of good depth. The ears were well set on the head and quite typical with good width at the base and being medium small in size. The eyes were of good shape roundish with a slightly oval shape. They were set on a slight slant towards the base of the ears. The whisker pads were raised. The bit was good and the chin of pleasing depth. The body was firm with good muscle tone developing. The legs had good length and were appropriately muscled. The feet were almost roundish. The tail was excellent having good length being thickish and it tapered well. The coat was of good quality. The base coat was a little cooler toned than the winner of this class but the contrast with the spotting was good; some of these larger spots were arrow-heads and were quite striking.  She did have a well defined ‘M’ and mascara lines and chin strap. Shown in very good condition.

3 EYRE-BROOK WOTHORPE RUBY TUESDAY 76 30 F 7.1.09  For type a nice looking girl with a good head shape with a broadish medium wedge with rounded contours. The whisker pads were slightly raised. The dip in the profile was good and chin had pleasing depth. The bite was fine. The ears were quite typical being medium small and they were well set on the head as much to the sides as on top. The eyes were of good rounded oval shape and of good size though not bold. The coat on this girl was of good texture and it lay well with a softish touch. It was a little cool toned however though had very pleasing contrast and definition. There was a little agouti invasion with was more obvious in the base coat and there for this did reduce the contrast. There was some good largish spots and arrow heads in the coat. It was such a pity there was a distinct lack of warmth as she did had good type.  Shown in very good condition.

4 PEACE’S BARIJKA RHEA 76 30 F 30.3.09 This girl was a very feminine and very pretty girl.  A good overall head though just a little short for my liking though she was the youngest and this may change as she grows. Her eyes at the moment were just a little too full and rounded but again allowance needed to be made for her age. An excellent side profile with a really good dip which was quite typical. The bite was fine and the chin had depth.  She had an excellent coat with really good patterning and contrast. There were some super rosettes which were well defined on the coat. The texture was good and it was quite soft though overall I would have liked it slightly paler for contrast.  A good well defined ‘M’ and she also had good mascara markings and chin strap.  A really attractive girl who was challenged probably more by age than type but on the day... Shown in lovely condition.

AC ADOLESCENT NEUTER

1 LOVEDAY’S TYPHAST URRANUSS 76 30 MN 27.9.08  A strong large neuter male of really good type and with an attractive coat. The head had a good broad medium wedge with the rounded contours as required. There was a pleasing and slight dip in the profile. The chin was of pleasing depth. The bite was fine. The nose was broad . He possessed slightly raised whisker pads. The ears were of medium size and were well set on the head as much on the sides as on the top.  The eyes were of good shape large but not bold and they possessed an almost round appearance. The body was of good size quite firm and well muscled with a good foreign stance. The legs were of good length and shape and the paws were almost round. The tail was good for shape and length. He had a good coat with a lovely text. It possessed softness and was dense yet soft and of medium length. The spotting was of good size and had excellent contrast with the base coat which possessed some rich attractive rufous colouration. The definition of the pattern allowing for the soft and denseness of the coat was very good.   A well defined ‘M’ and mascara lines were present. The tummy was spotted. Shown in lovely condition and well deserving his first place.

2 STEVENTON’S ZAWADI LEGADEMA 76 30 MN 10.6.08 Another strong neuter male. He had good type with the balance of length over width just being correct. There was a good broad medium wedge and they contours were rounded. The profile had a gentle curve as required. A good bite. The nose was quite broad and the chin of pleasing depth. The ear were well set on the head as much as to the sides as on top and the eyes were of good rounding with a slight oval shape were of good size large without being bold. The coat was of good quality it was soft and it was of medium length. The patterning was generally very good with good large spots contrasting well against a paler background. It was slightly darker on the upper body which did reduce the contrast and spoilt an otherwise good coat.  Shown in good condition.

3 BOLLON’S WOTHOROPE RUBENS  76.30 MN 27.3.08 This boy also possessed very pleasing type. A good head with gentle rounding to contours on a broad medium wedge. It was longer than wide. The chin was good as was the bite. The nose had width and the profile was a gentle contour as required.  He possessed the usual agouti feature. However, his coat was rather dark and there was just a little too much agouti invasion which detracted from the spotting which was generally good. There was a pleasing glitter in the coat. Shown in very good condition.

4 JESSOPS’ GLITTERBUG POLKA DOT 76 30 MN 10.7.08   A large boy who had a generally good shaped head as required by the standard. The ears however were small but were just a little upright and detracted from the top of the head which was generally good. The eyes were of good shape and were almost rounded but not bold. The dip in profile was good and the bite and chin were good. He had raise whisker pads.  The coat had a pleasing quality to it. It was of medium length and had a softness to it. The pattern did lack some contrast and the base coat was rather dark and this did affect the definition as well. The legs were of pleasing shape and length and they ended in good rounded paws. The tail was of acceptable length and shape though there was a tail defect.  Shown well.

ANY BENGAL ADULTKKITTEN OR NEUTER BORN JAN TO MARCH

1 ZAGNI’S ZUGZOG JESSICA ARAMIS 76 30 F 20.2.09 repeat

2 LEE’S GR PR KALUKIKATZ ARABESQUE 76 20 FN Overall a strong and pleasing girl. A good head overall though I would have preferred her tobe a little longer than wide with a good rounded profile. There were raised whisker pads and the chin and bite were good. The ears were quite well set on the head as much on the sides as on top and they had good widht at the base. The eyes were of good size but not bold and they were in a slightly oval setting. The chin was good and the bite was level. The body was quite firm and well muscled. The legs were of good length and gave good balance. The feet were almost rounded. The tail had pleasing length and shape.  The coat was good for length and it lay well however it was just a little coarse to the touch lacking the required softness that it more typical of the Bengal. The marbling was well defined and the contrast and definition were good. The pattern was asymmetrical and clearly not classic is appearance though I would have liked more horizontal flow to it.  She had a spotted tummy. She had the usual agouti features. A strong bold chin strap, mascara making and and unbroken necklet. There was a well defined ‘M’ and with lines over the head which broke up on the sholders to medium sized spots. The tail was ringed and ended in a black tip. Shown in good condition.
