My thanks to my friend Gill Allen for stewarding for me,
As usual she handled the exhibits with love and me with care!!

Class 30a Chocolate Kitten (under 6 months) Male
1st Akehurst's Chiaro Cioccolato Cielo M (27b) 8.2.09
An affectionate boy with a lovely feel to his body. He has a reasonably
short wedge with good width at his cheekbones and a blunt finish to his
muzzle that is a little long and rectangular today. He has very good rounding
to the top of his head and excellent width between his ears that are set
well apart and are medium/large in size and the correct shape having a
broad base and rounded tips. His eyes are moderately large in size and
are a little deep set and would benefit from being set a little wider
apart. They are the correct shape with a well rounded bottom line and
a flatter top line angled towards his nose. They are gold in colour. He
has a reasonably good Burmese expression. In profile his depth of head
is good and his ears show a slight forward tilt. His brow is gently rounded
and his nose break requires a little more definition. His nose is a little
long and is not quite straight due to a small bump. His nose finishes
in the same vertical plane as his chin and is medium in depth. His bite
is correct. His body is well grown and he is developing good muscularity.
His chest is rounded and his back is straight. His tail is of medium thickness
at the base and tapers to a rounded tip and is long enough to balance.
His coat is medium in length and lies well with a soft texture. He is
a warm pale chocolate which is fairly even except for some facial contrast.
He is clear coated. His condition is excellent and he is shy but enjoyed
his cuddles.

A shy girl with a nice Burmese expression. She has a fairly short wedge
with good width at her cheekbones and tapering to a slightly long muzzle

from being set a little lower. Her ears are medium in size and are the

large in size and are set well apart and have a well defined shape with
a rounded bottom line and a flatter top line angled towards her nose.

pale chocolate colour which is fairly even. She has some smudges to her
outer back legs and is otherwise clear coated. Her condition is good and
she has a shy and gentle nature.
Class 30c Chocolate Kitten (over 6 months) Male
1st and Bob Brimsden's Clarkesfield Harry Potter M (27b) 30.10.08
A well grown chocolate boy looking more mature than when judged last month
and with a very nice shape to his wedge. He has a short wedge shaped head
with very good width at his cheekbones and tapering to a fairly short
muzzle with a blunt finish. He is beginning to develop jowls. The top
of his head has good rounding and he has fairly good width between his
ears that would benefit from being set slightly lower. They are medium
in size and have a broad base and rounded tips. His eyes are moderately
large in size and set well apart. Their shape shows just enough difference
between the top and bottom lines to be acceptable and would benefit from
more bottom line rounding. They are yellow chartreuse in colour and he
has a fairly good Burmese expression. In profile his depth of head is
very good and his ears show a slight forward tilt. His brow is gently
rounded and his nose break is fairly well defined. His nose is slightly
long and straight and finishes in the same vertical line as his chin that

good muscularity. His chest is rounded and his back is straight. His tail
is of medium thickness at the base and tapers to a rounded tip and just
balanced today. His coat is medium in length and soft in texture. He is
a pale chocolate with warm tones evident today. He is fairly even in colour
and he is clear coated. His condition is very good and he is a gentle
and calm natured boy who handled well.

2 very well matched kittens.
1st and Bob Taylor's Backchat Gipsy Moth F (27e) 26.1.09
A good natured wriggly miss with a good Burmese expression. She has a
short wedge with very good width at her cheekbones and tapering to a fairly
short muzzle with a blunt finish. The top of her head is well rounded
and she has very good width between her ears that are set well apart and
continue the shape of the upper part of her face. They are medium in size
and have a broad base and rounded tips. Her eyes are moderately large
in size and set well apart and have a well defined shape with a rounded
bottom line and a flatter top line at their best when relaxed. They are
yellow chartreuse in colour and she has a good Burmese expression. In
profile the depth of her head is reasonably good and her ears show a slight
forward tilt. Her brow is gently rounded and her nose break is fairly
well defined. Her nose is fairly short and straight until a slight roll
off at the nose leather. Her chin is medium in depth and is slightly set
back. Her bite is correct. Her body is compact in size and she felt a
little lighter than ideal today. Her chest is rounded and her back is
straight. Her tail is of medium thickness at the base and tapers to a
rounded tip and is slightly short to balance. Her coat is medium in length
and lies well with a glossy finish. She is a mixture of mainly dark seal
brown with pale red and is clear coated. Her condition is good and she
is a playful good natured kitten.

A sweet natured brown tortie kitten of good Burmese type. She has a short

a very good flatter top line angled towards her nose. They are yellow
in colour with a chartreuse inner rim. She has a good Burmese expression.

being a little more defined. Her nose is slightly long but straight and
finishes in the same vertical plane as her chin which is a little shallow

1st Woodley's Imp GrCh Honpuss Chardonnay (27) F 20.7.00
A nearly 9 year old brown lady with lovely Burmese type. She has a very
nice balanced short wedge with very good width at her cheekbones and tapering
to a short muzzle with a nice blunt finish. The top of her head shows
very good rounding and very good width between her ears that are set well
apart and would for perfection have benefitted from being set slightly
lower. Her ears are medium in size and have a broad base and rounded tips.
Her eyes are large and lustrous and are set well apart and have a very
well defined shape with a well rounded bottom line and a flatter top line
angled towards her nose. They are yellow in colour still and she has an
excellent Burmese expression. In profile the depth of her head is very
good and her ears show a slight forward tilt. Her brow is gently rounded
and her nose break is fairly well defined. Her nose is fairly short and
straight and finishes in the same vertical plane as her chin which is
medium in depth. Her bite is correct. Her body is a trifle plump but she
still has good muscularity and retains an elegant stance. Her chest is
rounded and her back is straight. Her tail is of medium thickness at the
base and tapers to a rounded tip and is slightly short to balance. Her
coat is medium in length and lies very well and she is a very nice warm
mid-toned seal brown colour with a couple of white hairs on her shoulders.
She is clear coated. Her condition is good and she handled well. A lovely
example of the breed.

Many thanks to Terry for coming to steward again; I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. And my eminent 2nd steward was Linda Walpole, getting a flavour of Burmese. The show was super, with lovely totally tropical theme. There were some seriously loud flowered shirts! Having a breed seminar alongside the show made the morning busy, but luckily my book wasn't too full, so it was perfectly manageable. I do hope the audience enjoyed my contribution, as well as those of later speakers.

Very many thanks to Steve and Linda for the invitation and excellent hospitality. I was also very grateful to Maggie Docherty for coming along to steward for me; I really enjoyed her company and thank her for her hard work. I must say what a brilliant idea it was to hold a Seminar at the show; it meant candidates, judges, stewards and exhibitors could all take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about Burmese
RED OR CREAM CHAMPION, FEMALE
1 GCC HALL’S CH MINOTOSA BRONWEN, 27D, F, 10.10.2004
An elegant, attractive and balanced female with type and style; the head formed a short wedge with width at the cheeks and a blunt finish to the muzzle. The ears were of medium size, broad at the base and rounded at the tips. They had a slight forward tilt. The top of the head was gently rounded as was the forehead when viewed in profile. There was good depth to the head. Distinct nose break but the chin could be a little stronger. The eyes were set well apart, the top line slanted towards the nose and the lower line was rounded. They were chartreuse in colour and very expressive. Medium length body with a firm, muscular feel; rounded chest and straight back. Slender legs and neat, oval paws. The tail was of moderate thickness at the base and tapered to a rounded tip. Excellent coat quality and condition; it was short, fine, close-lying and glossy. Attractive tangerine tone and apart from a faint, smudgy, broken necklet, she was clear. Well presented in excellent condition and with a confident, relaxed temperament.
CHOCOLATE OR LILAC PREMIER, MALE - A challenging class of five handsome cats.
1 GPR POWER’S IMP GR PER MAINMAN RAJAH, 27B, MN, 11.8.2003
Such a handsome and balanced cat with a delightful temperament; Rajah demanded that he should be my winner! Excellent head that formed a short, broad wedge with a blunt finish. The medium ears were set well apart to continue the lines of the upper part of the face. They were broad at the base, rounded at the tips and had a slight forward tilt. His eyes were large, set well apart and an excellent shape and expression. Pale yellow in colour. The top of the head was slightly rounded, as was the brow. He had a distinct nose break and a good depth to the chin. Solid, muscular feel to the body with slender legs and a tapering tail to balance. Superb coat quality, it was of medium length but fine and close-lying with a wonderful, healthy gloss, Warm chocolate that was even. A very charming cat!

CHOCOLATE ADULT, MALE
1 CC BRADLEY’S CH AUREUS CHAMPAGNE CHARLIE, 27B, M, 3.11.2007
A very balanced male with type and style; the head was short with width at the cheeks and a blunt finish to the muzzle. Medium ears, broad at the base and rounded at the tips were set wide apart and the outer edges continued the lines of the wedge. The top of the head was gently rounded as was the brow when viewed in profile and there was good depth to the skull. Large eyes of very good shape and yellow tone. Defined break in the profile and reasonably firm chin. Medium length to the body with a straight back and nicely rounded chest. Slender legs and oval paws. The tapering tail gave final balance. The coat was moderately short, fine and glossy. Warm milk chocolate tone although the tail was slightly bleached. Excellent muscle tone, he was masculine but elegant. Excellent condition and temperament.
2 THOMAS’ SEYSIANA SIRIUS, 27B, M, 20.5.2008
This boy was looking rather immature I felt. The head was short but he needs more width at the cheeks and the muzzle was rounded. The ears were of medium size and set well apart. There was a distinct nose break and fair chin. The eyes were rather almond in shape and slightly deep set. Muscular body developing. Slender legs and oval paws. The tail tapered and was a balanced length. The coat was of medium length but a little dry in texture and slightly coarse at the base of the spine. Warm chocolate colour. Excellent temperament, he was friendly and alert.
CHOCOLATE ADULT, FEMALE
This was a challenging class of high quality; I could easily have awarded several certificates. I did consider exhibit 25 for the BOB award, she was a pleasing female of lovely type but a little plump, which blurred her balance.
1 CC + BOB WILSHAW’S GR CH ROSSIKHAN CUPCAKE, 27B, F, 16.8.2007
A beautiful, feminine chocolate, she was so affectionate and friendly (it is such a clever trick to kiss the judge!). Excellent type and balance overall, the head formed a short wedge with width at the cheeks and a blunt finish to the muzzle. The ears were medium with the outer edge completing the shape of the upper part of the face. They were broad at the base, rounded at the tips and showed a slight forward tilt when viewed in profile. The brow was slightly rounded as was the top of the head. She had a distinct nose break and good depth to the chin. Beautiful eyes that were set well apart; they were an excellent shape, clear yellow in colour and really expressive. Her body was of medium length and though so feminine and elegant, she was an excellent weight and felt hard and muscular. Slender legs and neat, dainty oval paws. The tail was straight, moderately thick at the base and it tapered to a rounded tip. Excellent coat, it was short, fine and satiny with a warm, milk chocolate colour and a healthy gloss. Excellent temperament and in sparkling condition.
2 KENNARD’S CLARKESFIELD UPTOWNGIRL, 27B, F, 30.5.2008
Another very pretty and feminine chocolate with excellent type and style. She had a very good short wedge with a blunt finish to the muzzle and width at the cheeks. Her ears were of medium size and set well apart, continuing the lines of the upper part of the face. Her eyes were large, lustrous and very expressive; the colour was a clear yellow. Elegant body that felt hard and muscular with slender legs and a good tail to balance. Her coat was a warm, milk chocolate. It was of medium length but fine and glossy. Excellent condition and temperament.
3 WILSON’S MAHARANI VANITY FAIR, 27B, F, 27.7.2008
Yet another very attractive female with very good type, style and expression. I really liked her head type with medium ears and large eyes of excellent shape, set and colour. Her body was hard and muscular with slender legs and oval paws. I felt her tail was a little short and that spoiled her overall balance. The coat was of medium length, fine, satiny and close-lying; the colour was a warm milk chocolate that was pleasing. Excellent condition and temperament.
4 PEARCE’S MERINDA TIGERLILLY, 27B, F, 18.7.2008
A sweet female with a gentle expression. The head formed a moderately short wedge, but the muzzle rounded and the eyes were almond shaped rather than the unique Burmese shape. Good profile showing a distinct nose break and good depth to the chin. The ears were of medium size and set well apart. Very good body, legs and tail. She felt firm and muscular. The coat was of medium length, slightly longer on the lower back and felt a little coarse there; she was shown in excellent condition otherwise and had a friendly, affectionate temperament.
BLUE NEUTER, MALE
I considered exhibit 74 for the BOB award; I really liked his type and expression, but felt his coat was not as short as my winner’s.
1 PR + BOB ROBERTSHAW’S PR KYMIAN SHAMU, 27A, MN, 21.8.2007
A lovely big, cuddly boy who was so friendly and affectionate. Excellent type and balance overall; his head formed a short wedge with width at the cheeks and a blunt finish to the muzzle. The ears were of medium size and set well apart with the top of the head slightly rounded as was the brow. Large, lustrous eyes, chartreuse in colour and of excellent shape, set and expression. The nose showed a distinct break and the chin was good. Hard, muscular body with slender legs and oval paws. The tail balanced well. Excellent coat quality; it was short, fine, satiny and close-lying. It was a very attractive soft, blue-grey and had a distinct silvery sheen. Shown in excellent condition, he just lay in my arms with his front paws “playing the piano” and purring loudly!!
2 WRIGGLESWORTH’S MOLYNMEUX JUST BENTLEY, 27A, MN, 1.2.2008
Sadly this boy was very upset. He had tipped his water over and was soaking wet. He was not happy to be judged, so I did not prolong his time out of the pen. He had very good type but was tending to bonnet his ears although I feel that was because he was not happy. Very good eyes for shape and set with clear chartreuse in colour; his expression was rather worried though. Distinct nose break but I thought the chin could be deeper. Excellent body, legs and tail. Medium length coat of good blue with a silvery sheen. Shown in excellent condition.

3 RAE’S CH RAEBURASI SUGARBABE, 27C, FN, 4.5.2005
Many, many thanks to Linda, Alan et al for what appeared to be yet another successful Burmese Cat Club Show, wonderful atmosphere prevailed throughout, plus the added aspect of the Hawaiian theme to make it interesting & more fun for spectators. I would very much like to say a big thank you to Sue Barrett who stepped in when my stewards could not make if for various reasons (all I hasten to add perfectly acceptable ones), she performed her duties with both skill & sense of humour. I had some excellent quality exhibits & I really enjoyed my day, thank you everyone who played a part.
Imperial Grand Premier, Male;
IMP GR PR WILSHAW’S GR PR ROSSIKHAN CRACKER JACK. 27c. 05-01-07. Lilac, this lad now has a degree of size & maturity & looked extremely impressive, quality Burmese. Short wide wedge, the muzzle showing well blunted finish, top rounds gently in both direct directions, excellent definition to the nose break, short nose, good chin & bite. Ears larger medium size, with width at the base following through the wedge, rounded tips & slight forward tilt, set well apart. Stunning eyes, large in size, excellent curve to the lower line with gentle slant to the nose on the top line, very impressive lustrous yellow chartreuse colour further enhanced with flashing indignation, wonderfully expressive. Body is lithe & well muscled, good breadth across the chest, slim legs, oval paws, medium thickness to the tail, rounded tip, just a little short of shoulder. Superb coat, excellent shorter length, incredibly sleek & glossy satin like finish. His colour is even could ideally have a little more evidence of pink tone, but there is nevertheless a pleasing frosty dove grey effect. His condition was splendid, has quite an attitude problem but keeps it an acceptable level (just) which undoubtedly enhances his type.
RES IMPR GR PR PLAW’S CH & GR PR RAINSONG XABI ALONSO. 27. 07-03-07. Brown, a lad for whom I have a great liking & literally just missed out today. Very masculine & handsome chap. Excellent mature head type, wedge short & wide, the muzzle has a good blunt finish, top rounds well, very good break in profile, excellent chin & bite. Ears well placed when he relaxed fully, medium size, round on the tips, width to their base. Lovely shaped eyes, well curved lower line & slanted top, very expressive, chartreuse in colour all enhanced by their larger size. Excellent muscular body, well proportioned legs & paws, the tail well balanced slightly short of shoulder round on the tip. Coat beautifully prepared, short & close lying, lovely sleek satin like finish. Deep rich brown in colour which also has a degree of warmth to it & wonderfully glossy shine. Super condition, enjoys a grumble but purely effectual.
Brown Adult, Female;
1st & CC. MOORE’S DULCAMARRA ANNABELINDA. 24-07-08. I confess to deliberating over the certificate for this girl, but her type was excellent & other than her adolescent development which time usually has the answer for, in all other areas she was well worth the certificate. Though still rather kittenish her wedge was short & possessed good width, blunt muzzle, top rounds gently, excellent break, good chin & bite. Ears of larger medium size, well placed, wide base, round tips, gentle tilt forward. Eyes large, well defined in shape, lovely expression, yellow chartreuse colour. Body still very dainty & quite petite but her weight & tone in relation to her size was excellent, elegant limbs, tiny oval paws, tail fine & slightly shorter length. Coat was an excellent shorter well prepared length, fitting beautifully, glossy sleek sheen. Colour a warm brown which was even throughout. Her condition was excellent, charming little personality, full of confidence.
2nd POWER’S MAINMAN KISSOFINDIA. 26-05-08. Another quite dainty & still rather immature young lady but again the type most pleasing & should continue to improve as she matures. Very good short wide wedge, with a good typical blunted effect to the muzzle, round top, break well in evidence, short nose drops of a little at its tip, chin & bite both good. Well set ears, with good wide base & rounded tips, touch of forward tilt, larger medium size. Eyes ideally could have just a little more definition to the lower line, gentle slanted top line, yellowy chartreuse colour, pleasing expression. Body though still small & rather dainty, was weighty for size, has slim legs & small neat oval paws, fine tail with small but definite kink at its tip. Short very sleek well prepared close lying coat, excellent texture. Glossy dark even brown colour. Condition & temperament both excellent.
3rd COLE’S CH ANOKHI JOCELYN BROWN. 31-03-06. Though the oldest in the class this girl lacked a little in balance & belief in her self. Head good width & also quite short, rather pinched muzzle, her top a little flat & looked a little long as a result, the break well in evidence, chin could be a little deeper, bite marginal scissor. Ears are large, well set, wide base & with well rounded tips. Eyes though large as required, tend to dominate the head a little too much & more rounded than typically Burmese, with the colour leaning towards the greener phase of chartreuse, her expression a little startled. Body is firm & well toned, her legs slender with neat paws, tail quite fine & a little short for overall balance. Her coat was reasonably short & was beautifully close lying, satiny sleek finish. Warm deep brown colour with a glossy shine. Condition was excellent, very sweet nature if a little reserved.
Considered for & Awarded. BOB. MOONEY & REID’S IMP GR CH MAINMAN KISSCHASE. 21-05-04. This madam looked in cracking form today. Her type excellent, wedge short & with good width across the cheeks, good blunt effect to the muzzle, lovely rounded top line, excellent break, strong chin, bite excellent. Ears beautifully set, following through the wedge, wide base, rounded tips. Gorgeous eyes, large in size, lovely ‘Burmese’ shape, with a so wicked expression, chartreuse in colour. Her body was beautifully hard & well toned, slim legs, neat paws, well balanced tail just a little short of shoulder, rounded tip. Super coat, short & tight fitting, excellent sleek satin like finish. Dark rich, even warm brown colour, wonderful glossy shine. Her condition was superb & though a madam with a degree of attitude, this was not taken to extremes, just enough so you didn’t have everything your own way, well worthy of her Best of Breed despite very good. competition.
Also Considered KENNARD’S GR CH MAINMAN KISSANOVA. 06-04-07. a Handsome looking lad, handled well but gave indications he was likely to get excited easily. Very good width to his short wedge, the masculine jowls adding to the effect, with a good blunt muzzle also present, broad rounded masculine skull, excellent chin & bite. The ears are well set, with a good width at the base, touch of forward tilt. Tends to bolt his eyes a little till he relaxes, the shape then much improved, light yellowy chartreuse tone, pleasing expression. Body beautifully muscled despite his slim hips, good breadth chest, well proportioned legs & paws. Coat tight fitting & close lying, beautifully sleek & well finished. Glossy deep rich brown colour. Wonderful condition.
Also Considered CH RAEBURASI MOPANI. 08-12-07. Another very attractive & mature slightly dainty queen of very good type. Head ideally requiring just a little more width but otherwise a good short wedge, with good blunt muzzle effect, top rounds gently, well defined break in profile, short nose, quite a good chin. Well placed ears, medium size, hint of forward tilt, good width base. Eyes have a good shape & pleasing larger size, more leaning to the green chartreuse tone. Body quite dainty yet surprisingly weighty & firm, slender limbs, neat paws, quite a fine tail a little short of shoulder, slightly fused irregular tip. Coat short & close lying, glossy surface sheen, sleek finish. Her colour has a good degree of warmth if not quite so even as the BOB or more mature girl below.
Also Considered WOODLEY’S IMP GR CH HONPUSS CHARDONNAY.
20-07-00. Still as ‘bolshie’ as ever & yes just as attractive also, superior type & ran the BOB winner very close despite her mature years. Excellent short wide wedge, lovely blunted effect to the muzzle, top rounds in both directions, excellent break, excellent chin, marginal over bite. Ears medium size, wide base, well set, with rounded tips. Lovely eyes with a very withering look, the shape classically ‘Burmese’, deeply curved lower line with gentle slanted top line, the colour a more faded chartreuse, wonderfully wicked expression. Though marginally over her best weight, she was surprisingly firm & beautifully toned, quite slim legs, oval paws, tail slightly on the shorter side, medium thickness, rounded tip. Coat in excellent condition for her years, relatively short & beautifully close lying, sleek satin like finish. Deep rich brown colour, beautifully even with a lovely glossy sheen. Her condition was superb, handled well when out, returned to her pen she reverted back to her normal status, but still well worth the trouble.
Lilac Tortie Adult;
Considered for & Awarded. STEPHENS’S GR CH MILLGILL
THEATRICS. 14-03-06. This girl was very composed. Pleasing short wedge, with good width though perhaps could be a fraction more blunt on the muzzle, rounded top line, well defined break, medium length nose, good depth chin, bite good. Ears medium size, set well with slight tilt forward & well rounded tips. Eyes have a slightly greener tone of the chartreuse range, quite large, would benefit with a little more cupped lower line, to give a more typical slightly wicked Burmese expression. Body well developed & possessing good weight & tone, slender limbs, dainty paws, well balanced tail, rounded slightly irregular tip & a little short of shoulder. Close lying coat, which could ideally be a be a little shorter having a slight degree of fluffiness to it, perhaps a mite over-groomed. Her colour is very attractive, having a soft base colour of pinky dove grey, with varying shades of cream. Her condition & was superb, appeared to be on call & as a result very amorous & affectionate.
Also Considered TAYLOR’S INT CH KYMIAN HENRIETTA (TARA GRCH). 13-07-05. Another firm mature lady with lovely manners. Good short wide wedge, quite a good blunted effect to the muzzle, top could be a little more rounded, well defined break, chin requires a little more depth & bite good. Ears well set, medium size, round on the tips, just requires a little more hint of tilt, round on the tips. Eyes let her down a little as these need to be larger & are a little too tight in shape with a more defined slant on the lower line than well cupped, the colour a most attractive yellow tone, one eye was a little watery. Body firm & well proportioned, slim legs & neat paws, tail of medium thickness, just a little on the shorter side perhaps. Lovely coat, being sleek & well prepared very good shorter length, satiny texture. Pleasing pinky toned lilac base colour which was mingled with shades of cream. Very gentle nature, such a pity about the eyes.
Brown Burmese Neuter, Male;
PC Not Awarded. 1st BESWICK’S PR MAINMAN LEONARDO. 06-04-07. Type in the main all very acceptable. The wedge could ideally be a little wider, reasonably short, good blunt muzzle, the brow requires a little more rounding, adequate break, small bump & roll off at the nose tip, good chin, the bite though was slightly twisted & also a little undershot, confirmed by the DV. Ears medium size, placed well apart, round tips. Eyes could be a little larger & the shape requiring a little more definition, yellowy chartreuse tone, lacks the more typical ‘Burmese’ expression. Body lithe & good weight, slim legs, oval paws, the tail just a little on the thicker side for the body proportions. Glossy dark brown coat, ideally could be a little shorter but was nonetheless close lying with a good texture. Condition & temperament both excellent.
The following boys all from my Imperial Class. Considered for & Awarded BOB. PLAW’S CH & GR PR RAINSONG XABI ALONSO.
Also Considered. BUIST’S GR PR ADMEWBU BILBO BAGGINS. 10-05-02. Very handsome fellow, with excellent body & muscle tone, well shaped legs & oval paws, tail medium thickness, short of shoulder rounded tip. Head has short, wide wedge, blunt muzzle, broad top, could be a little more rounded , good break, chin & bite both good. Ears well placed medium size, wide base with rounded tips. Eyes are large but looking a little more rounded in shape, chartreuse tone. Coat close & still quite short, texture satiny & sleek. Condition excellent, easy to handle.
Also Considered. TIMBERLAKE’S UK & IMP GR PR SYKRIS CHEZACER. 27-07-01. Looking very impressive for his age. Head short & wide, well blunted muzzle, pleasing rounded top, very good break, chin & bite both good. Ears well placed, wide base, rounded tip, touch of forward tilt. Eyes pleasing yellow tone still, quite large, well shaped, pleasing expression. Body firm & muscular, with excellent weight, well proportioned legs & paws, tail of balanced length, just a little short of shoulder. Still a very good quality coat being short & close lying, with a sleek well prepared finish, even warm brown in colour. Lovely condition & temperament.
Also Considered. STEPHENS’S GR PR MILLGILL PANDEMONIUM.
12-07-04. Another lad of very good type. Body more lithe, with good muscle tone, slim legs, neat paws, balanced tail with rounded tip, a little short of shoulder. Coat not quite sleek, not quite a short & close as I would have preferred. Short wide wedge, the muzzle has a good degree of bluntness, his top requires a more rounded effect, well defined break, chin & bite both good. Ears medium size, with slight forward tilt, rounded tips & wide base to complement. Eyes are a pleasing size & could be just a little more rounded on the lower line, the colour leaning more to the green phase of chartreuse, very good expression. Colour a very good warm brown to his coat which was even, just the odd sprinkle of white here & there on his neck.
Also Considered. POWER’S UK IMP GR PR MAINMAN BURMASTAR.
19-05-01. A most attractive female neuter, who has retained excellent type. Head short & wide, with good blunt muzzle line, top slightly flatter now, still with a well defined break, good depth chin & the bite also good. Ears medium size, set well apart, hint of forward tilt, rounded tips. Eyes large, well shaped, still with a lovely slightly wicked glint yet so gentle with it, stretching the chartreuse description little. Well grown firm well proportioned mature body, well balanced legs & oval paws, tail slightly on the shorter side, rounded tip. Coat of slightly thicker texture & could be slightly shorter, but still laying close & well prepared. Colour extremely dark brown very even with just the odd white hair or two on her neck. Her condition was splendid & she has such a composed nature.
AC Novice Adult;
1st WILSON’S MAHARANI GENEVIEVE. 27c. 14-08-07. Lilac, most attractive & mature looking lady. Lovely type, short wide wedge, good blunt muzzle, well rounded top in both directions, good chin & bite. Ears medium size with rounded tips & gentle hint of forward tilt, wide at the base, set well apart. Expressive eyes, the shape well defined & good larger size, good yellow chartreuse colour. Body beautifully firm & weighty, well balanced legs & paws, tail of medium thickness, with pleasing round tip. Coat sleek & well prepared, could ideally be a little shorter but lovely & close, satin like texture. Colour a very soft dove grey with a good degree of pink to the tone created a soft frosty tone with subtle sheen. Her condition & temperament both excellent.
2nd PEARCE’S MERINDA TIGERLILY. 27b. 18-07-08. Chocolate, petite & still looking very immature. Head has slightly narrow wedge which as a result makes it appear a little long, muzzle requires a slightly more blunted effect, top could be a fraction more rounded, good break, nose runs off at its tip, chin could be a mite deeper, bite good. Ears medium size, tends to prick a little high, rounded tips. Eyes good larger size but lacks a little definition to the shape, most pleasing yellow chartreuse tone. Body very dainty & still to attain a little substance, slim legs, tiny paws, tail fine. Coat is on the longer side albeit it close. Her colour warm but a little uneven & showing some points definition. Sweet nature, very good temperament.
AC Debutante Kitten;
1st WILSHAW’S ROSSIKHAN DADDY’S GIRL. 27c. 11-01-09. Lilac, gorgeous kitten of superior type, real pocket job. Wide wedge of shorter length, very good blunt finish to the muzzle, rounded top, break well defined, good chin, bite level. Ears larger size, wide base, round on the tips with hint of forward tilt. The eyes are quite beautiful, depth of curve to the lower line, yellow chartreuse colour with a wonderful expression. Body though quite dainty was firm & beautifully proportioned, slim legs, neat paws, tail fine, short of shoulder, rounded tip. Close lying coat of very good shorter length, satiny texture, beautifully prepared. Her colour is a very good shade of soft toned lilac with pleasing frosty pink tone. Superb condition, combined with a wonderfully appealing personality, full of confidence.
2nd TAYLOR’S BACKCHAT GIPSY MOTH. 27e. 26-01-09. Brown Tortie, most attractive kitten with a lot of attitude, unlucky to meet up with the winner. Type most pleasing, short wide wedge, with good muzzle, top rounds well, the break very good, small bump on the nose & drop off at its tip, good chin & bite. Ears are very well set, wide base, good rounded tips, larger medium size. Eyes are large, well curved lower line & slanted top line, the colour still with a touch of muddiness to the colour, naughty expression. Body is firm & well proportioned, slim legs, good paws, well balanced tail, rounded tip. Coat could be a little shorter but it was beautifully sleek & well prepared, very close. Very attractive colour combination of brown interspersed with various shades of red, interesting blaze which tends to distort he head shape till you look past it. Her condition was excellent, a young miss with a mind of her own & a liking for her own way.

1st ROBINBSON’S MOLYNMEUX GOLD DUST. 27f. 23-12-08. Cream, sorry just had to mention this lad, he looked terrific. A quality youngster of excellent type. Head short & wide in the wedge, cracking blunt muzzle, beautifully rounded top line, lovely break, good depth chin, level bite. Ears larger medium size, beautifully set, wide base & rounded tips, touch of forward tilt. Gorgeous eyes, well shaped with a very pleasing yellow tone, excellent expression. Body is firm & weighty, slender limbs, neat oval paws, tail just a little short of shoulder with paintbrush tip. The coat was beautifully prepared, very short & close lying, sleek sating finish. His colour is at present a soft powdery cream tone, but still to deepen fully & the ears & tail are a slightly warmer tone. His condition was absolutely fantastic & he is such a confident self assured little chap, extremely promising.
Thanks to Steve, Tommy, Linda & Alan for a super day, & to my friend Carolyn Pengelly for looking after me & the cats so well. The light in the hall made it very difficult to be entirely accurate with coat colour but otherwise I thought it was a nice venue.

BROWN KITTEN (OVER 6 MONTHS)
1 LAUGHER’S SANLIS SHADOW SEEKER 27 M 15.11.08
Very good size, weight and muscle tone to this seven month old lad. Medium to longer length body with proportionate, shapely legs and largish oval paws which he will no doubt grow into. Good length tail to balance body just a trifle thick overall. Coat a trifle long but close lying and of fairly good texture just slightly coarse at base of spine. Medium, seal brown in colour just showing faint half bars on inside of limbs and a sprinkling of white hairs between the back legs. Good width to slightly rounded top of head between ears set well apart but tilted slightly too far forwards, good shape and size. In profile I would prefer a little greater skull depth, slight flattening to brow, adequate nose break, nose a bit long but straight. Level bite and fair depth chin. Good size to pale yellow eyes set well apart but appeared to be tending to round in shape. Super temperament, he just rolled around all over my book which did not assist the note writing!!

Many thanks to Steve and Linda for their very kind invitation to be a judge at this prestigious club show. There were some lovely cats which were a credit to the breed. And yes, the competition is stiffer at breed shows but then the awards are more highly treasured! Many thanks for Pat Tegg for ably stewarding for me in her own inimitable fashion. Thank you Pat, sincerely.
AC GRAND CHAMPION IMPERIAL MALE
IMP GR CH.. BRIDGES’ GR CH SANLIS DIAMOND GEEZER M
A really strong impressive male with excellent width on the top. The ears were really well set more on the sides than on top but they carried the outer edge of the head so well. There was gentle rounding on top. The side profile showed a really good short nose break almost ideal in depth and shape. He had large lustrous eyes in yellowy chartreuse. A short blunt muzzle completed a really attractive Burmese head. The legs were muscled and yet acceptable. They possessed good length and ended in paws that gave balance. The tail was of decent length; it was well shaped. The coat was excellent, a super mid-blue with silvering on the outer edges. It lay so well to the body and was quite short and fine. A large boy who maintained the right proportions and whose head gave him the overall edge today. Worthy of this high award.
RES IMP GR CH. KENNARDS’ GR CH MAINMAN KISSANOVA 27 C
An impressive boy of size and type and not overally masculine but well balanced. There was good width across the top with good gentle rounding generally with just a hint of flatness on top. The ears were so well set on the head being more to the side and not obtrusive but of medium small size. The nose beak was good, nose straight the chin was of good depth. Overall I would have liked just a little more depth from the top of the head to the bottom of the jaw. The coat was excellent. It was short, fine and lay close to the body;one of the best today. The legs were of good length and well muscled. The tail was good for balance though for perfection it could have been just a little longer. An attractive boy unlucky to meet the winner.
Also Considered for the Grand Certificate
MOORE’S GR CH ANOKHI BOY GEORGE 27C M Another boy of quality who I have met before and though he has many admirable qualities he needs to be a little more ‘male in such as class as this. A good head overall with very good ear set with a lovely forward lilt. A good width between these well set ears and gently domed across. The nose break was good and the eyes were of good quality for shape and size. He had higher cheek bones which set of the eyes well. A short straight nose and a blunt muzzle of pleasing depth completed a very good head. The lilac this coat was a slight darker toned dove-grey. However it was even in toning. It was short and quite fine and lay well to the body. The legs were quite muscular and of good length ending in appropriately size feet for this book. The tail was of overall good shape and gave good balance. An attractive boy and shown well today.
PALLISTER’S CR CH PENWYHNKATZ CREMEDELIGHT 27F M A boy of super temperament and so cooperative. I know showing working boys is never easy and today this boy was just a little out of show condition just needing some muscle tone and a little more weight on him. The head was very pleasing with good ear set and and the eyes were of good shape and size. The nose break was good and the chin of pleasing depth. The muzzle was just a little longer finer for my liking. The coat was lovely colour being quite pale and even in toning with just a hint of mottling on the flanks. But what a super temperament and so cooperative. Shown well.
CHOCOLATE OR LILAC PREMIER FEMALE
1 GR PR STEPHEN’S GR CH AND PR MILLGILL MIIMICRY 27C A very attractive female of really good type with a very short blunt muzzle and high cheek bones with an overall well balanced head. . The ears were of good shape and set and the eyes were typical with really good rounding to the bottom lid and with the upper lid possessing that curving into the tear duct which is so typical. The nose was straight as was the line from the nose tip. There was good depth from top of head to bottom of jaw. The muzzle was short and quite broad. The muscle tone was excellent and the coat she wore was not as short as I would like but it was of a super texture and it had a good pinkish tone to it and it lay well to the body. The legs were slim and elegant and ever so feminine ending in neat trim oval-shaped paws. The tail was very neat for length and balance and it tapered well to the tip. A lovely attractive female who deserved this award. Shown in lovely condition.
RES GR PR UK GR PR MAINMAIN KISSADORA 27B FN
A very nice female of very good type who was nicely balanced overall and with such a lovely nature. She particularly had a nicely balanced head. They ears were quite well set on the head if on this occasion they appeared to be a little high though that could have been her natural curiosity. There was good width across the top which was rounded. The eyes set in chartreuse were very good for shape and set. She had a straight nose and the chin was or good depth. A muzzle of good width though the chin receded a little. The coat had pleasing warmth to the colour. It was of good texture and lay well to the body. There was slight darkening to the points. The legs were of good shape and were well muscled. The feet were trim and quite oval shape. The tail was of good overall shape and of acceptable length. A very attractive girl who I have met before.
CREAM KITTEN
1st and BOB ROBINSON’S MOLYNMEUX GOLD DUST 27F M 23.12.08 An particularly attractive young male cream boy. A super type with a good rounding to top of head with a good nose break in the profile. The ears were of medium size and were rather good for setting and typically carrying the outer edge of the face so well. The eyes were particularly stunning being of good size and with lovely shape and they were stunning in their depth of the colour which was so good to see. The nose was straight and the chin was of good depth. The body was firm and well muscled for such a kitten. The legs were of pleasing length and were well muscled. The feet were trim and of good spoon-shaped. The tail was good for its length and the shape was quite typical, tapering well to the tip. The coat was a lovely pale colour. At the moment there was a fine mottling which it is to be hoped becomes diffused with maturity. A really nice kitten and certainly one to watch.
LILAC NEUTER MALE
1 WILSHAW’S GR PR ROSSIKHAN CRACKER JACK 27C MN 15.1.07 A strong neuter boy of very good type with a super head and with good gentle rounding on top with good space between the well set ears. These had a good shape and with a lovely forward tilt. The side profile showed a very good nose break which was quite ideal in its depth and shape. The nose was straight and the chin was of good depth on a muzzle that was short and quite blunt. The body was very firm and well muscled. The legs were were of good length for balance and good stance and they were well muscled. The feet were appropriate for size given his sex and age. The coat was a lovely pinkish dove grey and it possessed a super texture lying close to the body. A really attractive boy and overall was my preference in this good class. Shown really well.
2 ROBINSON’S PR ROSSIKHAN STATUS SYMBOL 27C MN 3.11.07 Overall looking really good today though he had some wonderful attributes I would like him looking a little more ‘male-like’. Burmese can be particularly made by the ears and the eyes and for me this boy had the most super eyes. They were stunning in terms of shape, size and depth of colour and the latter looks particularly stunning when set against a lilac coat. A good head with good gentle rounding across and with really good ears for shape and set. The nose was straight and muzzle quite blunt. The chin was of acceptable depth. The body was firm and well muscled. The legs were of acceptable size and the feet appropriate. A lovely coat which was shortish and lay well with a good even toned dove-grey. The tail was long enough to balance and it tapered well to the tip. A very attractive young man He was just a little stressed and therefore did not show himself to advantage. Well prepared.
3 UK & IMP GR PR ROSSIKHAN JOJO 27C MN 7.4.02 From the same stable and with that trade mark quality look. And what a stunning temperament! A very large neuter boy with lovely size as well as type. The head was particularly strong and it was good see such good width between the eyes which set them off to such good effect. The nose break was acceptable and the nose was straight. The muzzle was short and for perfection I would have liked it to be a little blunter; the chin was of pleasing depth. The body was firm and well muscled. The legs were of very good length and they were well muscled and shape. The tail was good for overall balance and shape. The coat was clear and it lay well to the body and was quite short in a pleasing dove-grey. I have met him several times and today though he was still very good he was not at his best. However, what a temperament! Prepared well for the show.

There were of good size very lustrous and so typical for their shape with a really good rounding to the bottom lid and with a very typical curve to the upper line towards the tear duct. The body was firm and quite well muscled. The legs were slim yet firm and the feet were trim and neat and quite spoon-shaped. The tail was very good for shape and length and it tapered so well. The coat was a pale chocolate with slightly darker points. A super girl , well prepared for the show.
YARDLEY’S PAPAGENA YANA YARDLEY 27C Another well balanced girl of good type. She possessed such a lovely head and so typical of the breed. Lovely rounding on top with good space between the well set ears which were so well balanced on the head. The eyes were so typical and good and of ideal shape. It was so unfortunate she was a little stressed and her eye was watering. A good nose break and straight nose and a chin of pleasing depth. A good short blunt muzzle. The depth of head form top to bottom of chin was good. The body was firm for a young female with good developing muscle tone. The coat on this girl was really lovely . BROWN CHOC RED BROWN TORTIE OR CHO TORTIE KITTEN
1 LAUGHER’S SANLIS SHADOW SEEKER 27 M 15.11.08 A strong looking male kitten with such a lovely temperament. He had the advantage over the other kitten in the class in being almost adult and that does count. A good nicely shaped top of head with pleasing space between the really well set ears which were particularly good for shape and set. The eyes were of good shape and quite typical. They had good rounding to the bottom lid and were very typical in the upper. However I would have liked them a little larger overall. A good nose break with just a hint of a bump on the nose. A good chin on a short blunt muzzle. There was good developing muscle tone . The coat was of good texture and it lay well to the body, if, at the moment it is a little longer than ideal. The legs were slim and well muscled ending in neat trim feat and the tail was good for overall balance and shape. A really super temperament and easy to handle. Shown in excellent condition.
2 AKEHURST’S CHIARO CIOCCOLATO CIELO 27 M 8.2.09 A very nicely balanced kitten of very pleasing type who was quite challenged in this class given the age difference. I did like his overall stance and presentation. A good gentle rounding on top with good space between well set ears of good shape and set. There was a good nose break and a chin of pleasing depth. The eyes were attractive overall with excellent shape but he did appear to be teething which caused him to appear to have a slight squint. A pleasing chin of depth. The coat was even in tone and it lay well to the body which had a good muscled tone. The legs were of pleasing length and were well muscled and he had feet which were well shaped and balanced. The tail was of good length and it tapered well to the tip. Shown in very good condition.

CLASS 32 LILAC KITTEN (UNDER 6 MONTHS), FEMALE
1st & BoB Mrs Wilshaw’s ROSSIKHAN DADDYS GIRL (27c) F 11/01/2009
Rather a delightful kitten – a super start to the day (again)! She has large and lustrous eyes which have super definition to the upper lids and superb fullness to lower lids. They are rich golden amber yellow in colour and set very well. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers to a blunt muzzle. She lovely rounding between her ears which are set well apart; they are nicely balanced; wide in the base and having rounded tips. She has a very typical contour to her upper face. Her profile shows very good depth to her skull. She has good rounding to her brow. She has a well defined nose break and a straight nose line, whilst her lower jaw has good depth I would like a little more for absolute perfection. Her chin sits correctly aligned to her nose in a straight vertical plan. Her body has good weight for her size and is beginning to look slightly unbalanced in that she has obviously had a growth spurt recently and she has become rather long in the body. She has a straight back and strong chest. Her stance shows correctly taller hind legs. Her tail balances and tapers very well to a rounded end. She still has a kitten coat at present, it is a warm even lilac. It had a super fine texture and satin like feel to it. Shown is excellent condition, she is a very confident girl who is very sweet and gentle – such a shame to wake her up from underneath her multi-layered blankets. How did she cope in the heat?
CLASS 32A LILAC KITTEN (OVER 6 MONTHS), MALE
1st Mrs Langham’s PREFERE ALBUS DUMBLEDORE (27c) M 24-10-2008
A very relaxed young who had a very serene posture as we reached his pen – I could swear he was meditating! He has reasonably large muddy yellow eyes, which have a pleasing slant to his upper lids and reasonable roundness to his lower lids. They are set quite well but his head is at that “in between kitten and adult stage” of development at present. Face on he has a short wide wedge, which due to teething was a little pinched today. His bite was level. He has gentle rounding between his well set ears. They are good for size and shape. His contour to his upper face is pleasing. In profile he has a reasonably deep skull. He has a gently rounded brow. His break lacks definition (due to his teething no doubt). He has a straight nose which falls away a little at the very end. His lower jaw was rather shallow and slightly set back. His body is developing nicely and has excellent weight. He has a straight back and a rounded chest. His limbs are neat and in keeping with his body having oval paws and the correct stance. His tail balances, and tapers from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat has medium length. Is soft and silky to the touch. It is a rather pale lilac in tone with a slightly cool toned mask. He is a lovely lad who is very friendly and a pleasure to meet. I suspect he may become a wise old sage like his namesake.
CLASS 35 RED KITTEN (OVER 6 MONTHS), MALE
1st & BoB Mrs Kempe’s OAKENSHIELD FORTISSIMO (27d) MN 14-12-2008
What a charmer this young man is – “a proper schmoozer” as my old Gran would say. His eyes are a rich deep amber yellow and really need to be larger as they are somewhat on the medium to small end of the spectrum at present. They have very good shape to the upper lids but the lower lids could be much fuller. They are set correctly in a head that is still a work in progress. Face on he has a medium length, medium width muzzle which was a little pinched due to teething. He has gentle rounding to the top of his head. His ears that are set well apart, they are good for size and shape. He has a pleasing contour to his upper face. His skull was a medium depth and has a rounded brow. His nose break needed more definition (possibly due to his teething). He has an essentially straight nose that fell away little towards the end. His lower jaw has barely acceptable depth and really need much more for balance, it was also receding a little. His body was very well grown for his age being firm and solid. He has a strong chest and a straight back. His limbs are of an appropriate size for his body. They have oval paws and they show the correct stance. His tail was a little short to balance, but tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat was reasonably short. It has very good texture to it. It is a pale but bright red, currently with a few smudges to his inner fore legs, a remnant of a necklace which will hopefully blend in as he develops and scarab but a clear tummy. Shown in excellent condition and a lovely young man who behaved impeccably! Was he named for his very loud purr I wonder?

She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart thereon. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as the end of her nose. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. She has the correct stance; taller hind legs. Her tail balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a rich warm brown in tone, it was very clear and even. I have to confess to having a wee bit of glee at finding I was handling this exhibit as I am often penned next to him at shows but rarely see him for myself as he prefers the underside of his vet bedding. He has large and lustrous pale yellow eyes. They have very good shape; they have a good slant to the nose in his upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in his broad, well developed head. All in all a very good Burmese expression. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle, finally a chin of excellent depth. He has a level bite. He has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart thereon. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance his head nicely. They enhance the contour of his upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile his skull has good depth. He has a gently rounded brow. He has a good nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which could be deeper for perfection. It was unfortunately set back a little. His medium sized body feels less weighty than his sized belays, it did have good muscle tone however. He has a rounded chest and a straight back. His limbs are neat and elegant with spoon shaped paws. He has the correct stance; taller hind legs. His tail was just short to balance. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat was a rich warm brown in tone, it was very clear and even but had a few stray white hairs on the back of his neck. It was also short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. He was shown in excellent condition. He was very relaxed and handled very nicely for us and sat contentedly on the table whilst I wrote him up.

A very pretty and endearingly sweet lady. She has large and lustrous pale chartreuse eyes (with a darker inner rim). The have good shape having a good line to their upper lids and quite fully rounded lower lids. They are set well in her pleasing head. She has a short wide wedge which tapers nicely to blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. Her top of head has gentle rounding with her ears set well apart. Her ears are good for size and shape. They have good width to the bases and rounded tips. They add nicely to the contour of her upper face and show the desired profile tilt. She has acceptable depth to her skull. She has a rounded brow. She has a good nose break and a straight nose. Her has lower jaw has reasonable depth but more is required for perfection, it does sit correctly in a vertical plane with the tip of her nose. Her medium sized body has good weight. She has a strong chest and a straight back. Her limbs are in keeping with her body. The have oval paws and the correct stance. The are very neat and elegant. Her tail tapers well to a paint brush tip from a medium thick base. She has a good mingling of cream and pink toned lilac, but I noticed a few smudges to her inner left rear legs and the remnants of a necklace. Her coat is short, soft and silky, perhaps rather too soft today. She was shown in very good condition and she has a charming winning temperament.

A very neat exhibit. She has large and lustrous rich chartreuse eyes. They have excellent shape; with very well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They add to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She has a gently rounded brow. She has a very well defined nose break, a straight nose line and a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as the end of her nose, I would prefer more depth for perfection. Her medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with spoon shaped paws. She has a good stance with taller hind legs. Her tail was short to balance to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat has a rich shades of red mingled with warm chocolate, it was very clear and even. It was also reasonably short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She was a charmingly friendly character whom I could take home with me – a joy!

A grizzly exhibit today. She has large and lustrous pale yellow-chartreuse eyes. They have pleasing shape; having a good slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They were only enhanced by her mood! They are set well apart in her broad well developed head. All in all they have a super Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a slightly flat top of head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are really very well sized and shaped to balance her head. They enhance the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a good nose break which could be more defined for perfection, a straight nose line and a deep lower jaw which was slightly set back. Her large sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant, in proportion to her body with oval paws. She has the correct stance with taller hind legs. Her tail was just short to balance to her shoulder. It tapers well from a slightly thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a warm but intense deep cream with ample powdering evident from her head down her spine, it was very clear and very even. It was also very reasonably short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in rather ample condition. As already mention she was not in the best of humours today.
3rd Mr & Mrs Blake’s CH & GRPR HOBBERDY HOOPCYDAISY (27h) FN 18-4-06
A very worried exhibit out her pen but happiest when back in her pen. She has large pale yellow eyes. They have acceptable shape; rather gentle slant to the nose in her upper lids and acceptably rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her head which has excellent width. They have a reasonable Burmese expression. Face on she has a short but medium wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle which could be broader for perfection. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They extend the contour of her upper face and have a reasonable profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonable depth. She had a gently rounded brow. She has a good nose break, a straight nose line with a little falling away to her nose and an acceptable lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as the end of her nose; it does need greater depth for balance. Her large sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are in proportion to her body with oval paws. She has the correct stance with taller hind legs. Her tail just balances to her shoulder. It tapers well from a somewhat thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was well mingled with various shades of red and a rather dark chocolate especially around her face, it was very clear and even. It was also an acceptable length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in good condition. She was rather tense and did not really show herself to her best today I suspect.

A stunning lad if a tad upset. He has large and lustrous rich golden eyes. They have excellent shape!!! Superb definition to the slant of his upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in his broad well balanced head. All in all they have an excellent Burmese expression – it is nigh on text book. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a very broad blunt muzzle. He has a level bite. He has a pleasingly rounded head and ears that are set well apart thereon. His ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance his head. They compliment the contour of his upper face but their profile tilt was hard to assess due to his humour. In profile his skull has good depth. He had a gently rounded brow. He has a very well defined nose break, a straight nose line. He has a reasonably deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as the end of his nose. His medium sized body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. He has a rounded chest and a straight back. His limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. He would not stand for me but I can see his rear legs were longer than his fore. His tail balances to his shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. His coat was a warm lilac in tone with correct pink caste, it was very clear and even. It was also very short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture feeling like satin. He was shown in superb condition. He is such a stunning boy that is a real shame to see him so upset, he was not aggressive just fearful I think.
2nd Mrs Stephen’s GRCH & PR MILLGILL MIMICRY (27c) FN 3-5-01
A very sweet exhibit who was rather unlucky to meet the winner today. She has large and lustrous chartreuse eyes. They have very good shape; well defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and nicely rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her broad head. All in all they have a pleasing Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head verging on flatness though and ears that are set well apart thereon. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add well to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She had a rather gently rounded brow. She has a good nose break, a straight nose line which was a tad long. She has acceptable depth to her lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose end. Her large body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. She has the correct stance with taller hind legs. Her tail balances very well to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a cool toned lilac with hints of pink casting, it was very clear and even. It was also reasonably short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She was quite the little charmer and an absolute pleasure to meet!

What an amazing character – gorgeous, compact and neat I could have wasted the day with her; she really put a smile on my face! She has large and lustrous pale chartreuse eyes. They have excellent shape; super defined slant to the nose in her upper lids and fully rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her broad head – excellent width. All in all they have an excellent Burmese expression. Face on she has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a broad blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head – perhaps they could be a little larger for perfection. They add nicely to the contour of her upper face and have the correct profile tilt. In profile her skull has good depth. She has a gently rounded brow. She has a very good nose break, a straight nose line. She has a pleasing deep lower jaw which ends in the same vertical plane as her nose. Her compact body felt weighty and had good muscle tone – nicely filled. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. She has the correct stance with taller hind legs. Her tail is just short to balance to her shoulder. It tapers well from a medium thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a rich warm chocolate mingled well with various shades of red. It was also very short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture but a little open today. She was shown in superb condition for her ten plus years of age. She was a real joy to meet – how I envy her owners such a fun character!

Her coat was very well mingled with a variety of red shades and minimal chocolate. It was also very short in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in just superb condition. She handled very nicely indeed but was a little feisty, I will never forget the shock of those perfect teeth!
3rd Mrs Power’s UK & IGRPR MAINMAN BURMASTA (27) FN 19-5-01
A pleasing exhibit. She has reasonably large golden yellow eyes with an inner chartreuse rim. They have reasonable shape; she tends to round her upper lids and has well rounded lower lids. They are set well apart in her reasonably broad head. They have a pleasing Burmese expression when relaxed. Face on she has a reasonably short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. She has a level bite. She has a very gently rounded head and ears that are set well apart. Her ears have wide bases, rounded tips and are suitably sized to balance her head. They add to the contour of her upper face. In profile her skull has reasonably good depth. She has a flat rounded brow. Her nose break is acceptable but could do with more definition, a straight nose line. Her lower jaw needs more depth and is set back slightly. Her medium-large body felt weighty and had good muscle tone. She has a rounded chest and a straight back. Her limbs are neat and elegant with oval paws. She has taller hind legs. Her tail is just short to balance to her shoulder. It tapers well from a rather thick base to a paint brush tip. Her coat was a rich dark brown tone. It was also reasonable in length, whilst being soft and silky in texture. She was shown in superb condition. She handled very nicely indeed.

CLASS 150 CREAM KITTEN
1st Mrs Robinson’s MOLYNMEUX GOLD DUST (27f) M 23-12-08
A simply stunning kitten who goes from strength to strength. Excellent expression in his large and lustrous rich amber yellow eyes. They have excellent shape especially in his fully rounded lower lids and have a very good slant to the nose in his upper lids. They are very well set in his pleasing broad head. Face on he has a short wide wedge which tapers well to a blunt muzzle. He has a level bite. He has good rounding to the top of his head. His ears are set well and are in proportions for the size of his head. They are wide in the base with rounded tips. The enhance the contour to his upper face nicely and have the correct profile tilt. His skull shows good depth in profile. It has a rounded brow and a well defined nose break with a small bump midway along his nose which hopefully will straighten out. His lower jaw has good depth and sits in the correct plane to the end of his nose, I would prefer this to be a little deeper for absolute perfection though. A solid body which is growing nicely, with a well rounded chest and a straight back. His legs are elegant yet sturdy and in proportion to his body. They have taller hind legs and neat oval paws. His tail balances well and tapers beautifully to a paint brush tip from a medium base. It has amazing length to it. There are hints of powdering developing in his appealing pale cream coat which is really rather clear except for a couple of smudges to his rear legs. Whilst his coat has a kitten texture to it, it is none the less soft and silky and very short. A very confident young man who was shown in super condition, he has an adorable temperament and was very relaxed. He is really rather wonderful – I have admired him from the first time I met him.

Only one entry but well deserving this award. He is a beautiful tabby
and white with lovely eyes and a fab pink nose leather, shown in pristine

start with, but when coaxed, he came out and showed just how really lovely
he is. A gentle sweet natured chap. Well done to Chris and Dave he is
