I love judging Persians and so was delighted to step in when Jane Allen was not able to attend. I do hope she is feeling very much better and that the exhibitors were not too disappointed with the substitution. I really enjoyed the cats as the quality was extremely high. Many thanks to all concerned.
GRAND CHAMPION, FEMALE
1 GCC PRESTIDGE’S UK GR CH JAZZYCATS BELIEVE IN MAGIC, 13B7, F, 2.10.2002
A really beautiful, mature queen with a wonderful personality too! Excellent type and balance overall. The head was well rounded with excellent breadth and balance to the skull. Neat little ears, rounded at the tips were set well apart and low in the contours. Full cheeks. Broad muzzle and good chin. The forehead was rounded and she had a short, broad nose with a stop. Large eyes that were a good blue. Very expressive. Cobby body with breadth of chest and a solid, muscular feel to her. She stood low on short, thick legs with large, round, tufted paws. Short, bushy tail to balance. Excellent coat length, it was long and thick with a full frill. Cream points that matched well and showing contrast to the creamy white body. Beautifully presented in sparkling condition and an excellent temperament.

Another beauty of very good type and balance overall. The head was broad with well rounded contours and small ears, well furnished and rounded at the tips set wide apart and low. Large eyes that were full and round. Good tone of blue and expressive. Full cheeks and muzzle. Rounded forehead and short, broad nose with a stop. Good depth to the chin. Cobby, muscular body with short, sturdy legs and large, round, tufted paws. Short, bushy tail to balance. Beautiful coat that was long and thick. Fine, silky texture and with excellent presentation. Clearly defined red “M” on the forehead and the facial markings were well defined. Spectacles around the eyes and the whisker pads were spotted. The legs were barred and the tail ringed. Lovely contrast to the apricot-white coat. Shown in superb condition and with a lovely temperament. Unlucky to meet the winner and well worthy of the Grand in different company.
RED POINT KITTEN, FEMALE

My notes say, “Scrummy!” and she really was! A really promising kitten with the personality and confidence to match her exquisite type, gorgeous coat, bright red points and superb contrast! Broad head that was well rounded with full cheeks and dinky little ears that were rounded at the tips and very well furnished. Short, broad nose and rounded forehead. Good bite and firm chin. Muscular body with good legs and tail. She was dripping with coat; it was long and thick with a silky, fine texture and full of life. Rich, bright red points with the mask developing nicely and colour coming on the legs. Excellent contrast. Superb presentation in sparkling condition and with a wonderful temperament.

An attractive young Exotic female who was pleasing. Round face and good breadth to the skull. The ears were rounded at the tips and set well apart but marginally prominent at present. Rounded forehead and short, broad nose with a stop. Full cheeks and muzzle. Strong, cobby body and she stood low on short, thick legs. Good tail to balance. The coat was dense and plushy. It stood well away from the body and was beautifully presented. Attractive blue-cream points and minimal shading to the body. Excellent condition and temperament.

A red point female of good type overall though I felt she had rather a heavy brow which made her eyes appear deep set. They were a reasonable blue. The head had breadth with rounded contours. Neat ears, rounded at the tips were well furnished and set well apart. Cobby body with a firm, muscular feel and short, thick, strong legs. The short, bushy tail balanced well. The coat was a good length and thick. Good points colour and contrast. She could have had more preparation to the coat but she was shown in very good condition and had a sweet temperament.

A really beautiful colourpointed Exotic of excellent type, balance and style. She has fulfilled all the promise I saw in her at our last meeting. Excellent head and expression. Solid, muscular body with very good legs and tail. Wonderful coat, it is really thick, plush and soft, standing away from the body well and presented to perfection. Red tabby points developing well and showing excellent contrast. This is so confident and has “presence”.

Older kitten, almost an adult of good type and balance overall. I felt her eyes were rather pale but expressive. Very good coat that was well presented and she had well defined red tabby points and good contrast to the body. Excellent condition and temperament.

A very pleasing female of excellent size and substance with solid muscle and substantial boning. Very good head and round face with full cheeks. Neat, well furnished ears set wide apart in the rounded contours of the head. Large eyes of good colour with a bold expression. Short, broad nose with a stop. Full muzzle. Compact body with very good legs and tial. Good length to the coat which was fine and silky. Very good tortie points with all points broken. Some shading to the body but there was contrast. Excellent condition and temperament.

A handsome cat with a wonderful expression that was really enhanced by his blue tabby points! Very well balanced overall, he was solid, muscular and cobby. Neat ears that were very well furnished and set well apart in the contours of the head. Large eyes, full and round that were a very good shade of blue. Short, broad nose with a stop. Full muzzle and firm chin. Very good body, legs and tail. Excellent full coat that was very well prepared, fine and silky. Lovely blue tabby points that were well defined on all areas. Good contrast. Excellent condition and wonderful temperament with the sweetest purr!
2 DRONSFIELD & COPE’S CONFETICAT JIVE TALKING, 13b5, MN, 24.5.2007
A younger cat who was well balanced and handsome. He had good type and expressive eyes of good colour. I felt his coat was not as full as the winner’s but he had matching red points and showed good contrast. Excellent condition and temperament.

A very attractive senior lady who was looking very good for her age. She had good type and balance overall. Her chocolate points were Bournville rather than Dairy Milk, but she was shown in splendid condition and had the sweetest temperament.

top of head with neat ears. Quite bold eyes of good shape & very good
blue colour. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite
fractionally undershot. Coat very full & expertly prepared. Clear
body & pale red to all points. Very cobby body. Short full tail. Super
temperament & show presence. A very well deserved winner of Overall
BIS - congratulations to his owners/breeders on making him up to Grand
today too!
AOC Colourpoint Adult Female; 1 CC BARBER'S SASHARMEY CHANTEE (13b5, 8/7/06). Sweet Red point girl of good type. Good width to head with neat ears. Mid blue eyes of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite slightly undershot. Coat full, just needing a little more preparation to really sparkle. Fractionally shady to body, mid red to all points. Fairly well grown - I would like to see a little more bone on this lass. Cobby body shape & short full tail.
Premier of Premiers Male; GPC WHITE'S GR CH & GR PR OAKDENE WALKIN ON SUNSHINE (13b5, 20/10/05). Huge Red point lad of very good type. Excellent top of head with neat ears. Pale blue eyes of good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite slightly undershot. Full coat which was very well prepared. Clear to body & deep red to all points. Very cobby body. Short full tail.
Tabby Colourpoint Neuter Male; PC withheld. 1 KNIGHT'S RISETTA CHAOS (13b12, 13/5/06). Very attractive lad of super balanced type. Excellent top of head with very neat ears. Pale blue eyes of excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite sadly very undershot & mal-ocluded. Coat full & well prepared. Almost clear to body. Mid blue tabby markings to all points. Very cobby body. Short full tail. I was very sorry to withhold on this super lad - his type is absolutely wonderful, but unfortunately his bite left me no choice.
Tabby Colourpoint Neuter Female; 1 PC BOB PEPPERELL'S ADSETLO LADY LOUISIANA (13b16, 18/5/07). Sweet Seal Tortie Tabby girl of good type. Good top of head with fairly neat ears. Pale blue eyes of good size & shape. Short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite slightly undershot. Coat full & well prepared. Slightly shady to body. Points showing mid seal with shades of red overlying tabby markings. Cobby body. Short full tail.
AC Debutante Adult Female; 1 KNIGHT'S TROUILLORD CHARITY. Very attractive Blue cream pointed Exotic girl of super type. Excellent top of head with neat ears. Bold eyes - slightly pale blue in colour, but good size & shape. Very short broad nose. Excellent full apple cheeks. Scissor bite & good chin. Coat of good texture & expertly presented, standing out really well from her body. Glacial white to body, just showing fractional shading at present. Pale blue & mid cream to points - just showing slight tabby markings to tail at present. Very cobby body. Short legs with strong, rounded paws. Short tail to balance. A real poppet!

favourite lad of mine who was looking good today. Lovely broad head with
fairly neat ears. Bold pale blue eyes of good size & shape. Short
broad nose. Bite fractionally undershot. Good cheeks & chin. Coat
full & well prepared. Slightly shady to body & deep seal to points.
Huge cobby frame. Short full tail. Just lost out to the winner on type
today - but he gave me a cuddle anyway, so I think he forgave me! 3 PEPPERELL'S
