Many thanks to Kim and the Committee for inviting me to the 1st Exemption show. It was a very pleasurable day and wonderful Cats too. Good luck for the future shows. Many thanks to Michelle Carter for stewarding for me, you did a great job and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Catering was brilliant, thanks to Jodie, Megan and everyone involved.
AC CORNISH REX WITH A TITLE (Ch. Gr Ch. or I Gr Ch) MALE
1st.and BOB. Retief’s Ch. Alizmah Livingstone. Black Male. Medium wedge with correct proportions, narrowing to rounded muzzle, chin recedes slightly. Flat skull curving gently at brow with straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Would like tail to be just a fraction longer for balance. Short, dense coat with silky texture and well rippled all over. Lovely lad. Went on to be Overall Best In Show Winner.
AC CORNISH REX WITHOUT A TITLE (Pr. Gr Pr or I Gr Pr) MALE NEUTER
1st. and BOB.Cieslawska’s Ikurlikat Blue. Blue MN. Very slightly long in the wedge but narrowing to rounded muzzle showing a slight pinch. Firm chin. Flat skull curving gently at brow and showing a straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set but sometimes looked a little round. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Long tapering tail. Short coat, dense with silky texture and well rippled all over.
2nd. Mallett’s Ikurlikat Icarus. Blue smoke and white MN. Litter brother to the winner. Very slightly long in the wedge, narrowing to rounded muzzle with firm chin. Flat skull curving gently at brow and showing a straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head but holding very slightly flared. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body, a little overweight which detracted from balance, with long legs and dainty paws. Long tapering tail. Short coat which lacked density, silky texture and well rippled except for being rather sparse at rear end of back.

1st. Mallett’s Ikurlikat Nefertiti. Blue and white tortie FN. Medium wedge with good proportions, narrowing to rounded muzzle, chin recedes slightly. Flat skull curving gently at brow and showing straight nose profile. Ears could be slightly larger but set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Tapering tail of good length. Short coat , rippled along sides but rather flat and straight along spine. Very pretty colouring.
AC SPHYNX NEUTER (FEMALE NEUTER)
1st and BOB. Davies’ Adtresh Blue Ghostcleo (Fife EP) Black FN. Modified wedge with rounded contours, prominent cheekbones, distinctive whisker break and prominent whisker pads and strong rounded muzzle. Straight nose with slight stop at bridge. Chin recedes a little. Large ears of good shape and set well. Eyes of good shape and set. Well muscled neck on a medium length, hard and muscular body with broad chest and rounded abdomen. Legs in proportion to body with long slender toes on oval paws with thick paw pads. Long and slender tapering tail. Fine down on skin giving a feel of soft warm chamois leather. Slightly thicker down on back of ears and on bridge of nose.

1ST. Eaton’s Calonlan Honey. La Perm. Female. Modified wedge with slightly rounded gentle contours. Prominent whisker pads. Good nose profile with gentle nose break. Broad muzzle, firm chin and moderate whisker break. Ears of good size and set well. Eyes of good shape and set. Neck carried erect on a medium sized body, firm and muscular with legs in proportion and rounded paws. ‘Bottle brush’ tail in proportion to body with slight defect at tip. Medium length coat with textured feel. A beautiful girl with a temperament to die for.
2nd. Cross’ Rastacat Kahrenzah. Blue Cream Female Cornish Rex. Medium wedge narrowing to slightly square muzzle with a little pinch. Firm chin. Straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Long tapering tail. Short dense coat, plush on shoulders with ripples over rest of body, silky in texture. Excellent temperament.

Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Tapering tail of good length. Coat of good length and texture and well rippled. Just a little upset today.

1st Van-Enk’s Rastakeshi Mouse. Blue MN Cornish Rex. Very slightly short in the wedge with rather a squarish muzzle and having slight bump to nose profile. Good chin. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Tail could be slightly longer for balance and has a little defect. Lovely texture to coat of good length and well rippled. Lovely temperament.
AC KITTEN MALE.
1st. Franks’ Ikurlikat Alfie. Black and white MN Cornish Rex. He was rather upset today and difficult to judge. He appeared to have a well balanced head and fairly good nose profile. He was holding his large ears rather flared but this could have been because he was upset. His eyes appeared to be of good shape and set. He had lovely white whiskers. He looked to have a firm muscular body with elegant legs and dainty paws. His coat appeared to be of good length and texture and was well rippled.

Many thanks for the invitation to judge at the Societies 10th anniversary and 1st Exemption show. My grateful thanks to Rita Davis a novice who steward for me, she was good company and handled the cats and kittens with, kindness, consideration, and calm efficiency I hope you had a pleasant day. The venue was ideal for this size show and seemed to provide all the exhibitors required for a small friendly show.

1st Davies RASTAKESHI CHOCCIELEXA 33 15b Chocolate Cornish Rex female born 24/01/08. Flat skull, good medium wedge, good curve at brow to almost straight profile, slight dip to nose, rounded muzzle with a slight pinch, firm chin, level bite, elegant neck, large ears, set fairly high on head, wide base mussel shaped, medium size, yellow eyes oval shaped, with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, slender tubular medium size and elegant, muscular body, long elegant limbs higher at rear, neat oval paws, good length tail, slender and tapering to pointed tip well covered, good short coat length with soft, fine silken texture, fair density, neat waves all over, temperament just a littlr upset today and in good condition.
2nd Cross Rastacat Kahrenzah 33 28 blue cream Cornish Rex female born 309/06/08.
Flat skull, good medium wedge, good curve at brow to almost straight profile, slight dip to nose, Squarish muzzle with a pronounced pinch, firm chin, level bite, elegant neck, large ears, held a little flared and low on head, mussel shaped, medium size yellow eyes, oval shaped, with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, medium slender, tubular and elegant, muscular body, long slender limbs, higher at rear, oval paws, long slender tail, tapering to pointed tip well covered, short coat length with soft, fine silken texture, good density, neat rexing all over with plush on shoulders, very good temperament and condition.
3rd Retief Diademhill DIKULIKAT 33 40 4w Lilac and white Colourpoint Cornish Rex female born 24/06/07. A very pretty colour girl but head is too rounded for a Cornish Rex, fair curve at brow, almost straight profile round muzzle, thickish neck, medium triangular ears with rounded tips, medium size, full rounded, good deep blue eyes fair set, medium solid body, good long slender limbs, rounded oval paws, good tail length tapering to a pointed tip, good medium length coat with very good density and rexed all over except plush on shoulders, soft texture, very good temperament and condition.

1st & BOB Eaton CALONLAN HONEY 80s 27btx Chocolate Tabby darker point shorthair La Perm female born 29/04/07. Modified medium wedge with gentle rounded contours, full whisker pads, flat skull curving down to profile to nose which has a stop, slightly broad muzzle, moderate whisker break, long curly whiskers, strong firm chin, level bite, broad strong nose, gently nose break, medium ears, well cupped, tufts, medium grey greeny eyes, almond shape slanting to ear base, medium foreign body, fine boned, muscular, good medium limbs, good length tail with a bit of a plume, good even medium length wavy coat loose, open and with soft springy textured feel, good chocolate tabby darker points, good temperament and condition.

1st Van-Enk RASTAKESHI MOUSE 33 16 Blue Cornish Rex male neuter born 16/08/08. Well balanced boy with a superb nature, medium wedge 1/3rd longer than wide, flat skull, fair curve at brow to almost straight profile, with a bump on nose, nicely rounded muzzle, curly whiskers, strong chin, slightly undershot bite, elegant neck, large wide based, mussel shaped ears with rounded tips, very good set, rather high, small to medium yellow oval eyes with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, medium size slender body, long slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good long tail tapering to rounded tip with attractive kink, good medium length coat with soft, silky texture, good density, very good rexing all over, superb temperament motor purred continuously and in very good condition.
2nd Franks IKURLIKAT ALFIE 33 31 Black and White Cornish Rex male neuter born 09/10/08. A well grown young lad with attitude, unfortunately this spoilt his chances as he refused to show himself, wrinkling up his nose and flattening his ears, as he stood his ground and growled at me. Medium wedge almost straight profile, good curve at brow, flat skull, bite appeared level, slight pinch to muzzle, medium size mussel shaped ears held a bit too low and flared, medium size, greeny yellow, oval eyes, fair set, large for age, solid muscular body, good slender limbs, higher at rear, medium length soft silky coat with good density, excellent rexing, temperament suspect as he did not behave and was very grumpy today, in good condition.

He looked every bit a mature male neuter and surprised me to be only just a year old, good medium wedge1/3 longer than wide, flat skull, good curve at brow almost straight profile, gently rounded muzzle, firm chin, bite level, elegant neck, large mussel shaped alert ears, good rather high set, yellow oval eyes of medium size with good set, slanting towards ears, large long well built body, hard and muscular, slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good length tail, tapering to pointed tip covered with waves, short coat, soft and fine, just lacking a bit of density and rexing all over, very good temperament and condition.

Nice compact girl with good ear set, medium wedge a fraction short of1/3rd longer than wide, flat skull, good curve at brow to almost straight profile with slight dip to nose, nicely rounded muzzle, curly whiskers, firm chin, level bite, elegant neck, medium wide based, mussel shaped ears with rounded tips, good set, rather high, medium yellow oval eyes with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, medium to small size body, long slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good long tail tapering to rounded tip, very short length coat with soft, silky texture, lacking density, rexing all over, very good temperament and condition.

1st DAVIES ADTRESH BLUE GHOSTCLEO 84 15 Black Sphynx female neuter born 28/11/02. The oldest cat attending the show but she looked the youngest, super dainty black Sphynx. Modified wedge with rounded contours, slightly longer than wide, prominent cheek bones, distinct whisker break, prominent whisker pads, strong rounded muzzle, rounded skull with slight stop to profile, weak shallow chin, level bite, large, wide open based ears, tapering to rounded tips, good set, large lemon shaped greeny yellow eyes, slanting to outer edge of ears, medium hard muscular body, rounded rump, good medium limbs, oval paws with thick pads, long toes, long slender tapering tail, very fine down on skin, soft peach like feel, just the right resistance when stroked, thicker down on nose, ears tail and feet, giving a darker points look to her jet black colour, super condition and very good temperament.

What a lovely day! What a great, well run, little Show. This was only my second “real” Judging experience & I thoroughly enjoyed both judging the Household Pets & speaking with some of their owners later in the day. It was truly an honour to be asked to judge & a pleasure to handle the exhibits.
Harry. Black Tabby shorthair Male Neuter, 9 years old, .owned by Mrs. H. Retief; 1st: Tabby or Tabby & White S.H. Adult, 1st: A.C. Adult or Kitten Living more than 25 miles from Show Hall 1st. Friendliest Exhibit, Best in Show Household Pet. A big, well proportioned, laid back boy with large green eyes. He looked like a big “bruiser” in his pen, but was totally the opposite to this when he came out onto the judge’s table. He immediately warmed to me & rubbed my hands with his head – MANY TIMES! He just wanted to be loved & cuddled (& he was). The very essence of a Household Pet.
Sophie, Black Tabby & White Female Neuter, 1 year 5 months old, owned by Mr. & Mrs. M. Lancaster; 1st: A.C. Junior Adult, 1st: Best Groomed S.H. Adult or Kitten, 2nd: Tabby or Tabby & White S.H.Adult.
Well prepared little girl, with lovely markings & such a sweet face. She was very bright & alert, though a little nervous. She was much happier following round the cat teaser in safety of her pen than being handled on the judge’s table.
