Short nose but a fraction fawned. Level bite and chin is firm. Good cheeks. Cobby body of good muscle tone and weight. Her coat is short dense but soft. BLACK SILVER TABBY ADULT
1ST CC@BOB LE MONNIER’S COUNTRYSTYLE SILVER IDOL 2YRS 8MTHS. Well grown chap of excellent bone and size, a fraction long and tall at present, still maturing. Good head shape and ears. Short nose but has a wee bump and a little fawned. Level bite, chin slopes a tad. Good cheeks. Round eyes of good size and a nice even light green. He is obviously a working lad as he thins at the haunches nevertheless he has substance. Dense black pattern as some brindling and seasonal coat changes. Trams a little uneven, oysters and butterfly clear. Mid silver ground. Sweet expression.
BLACK SILVER SPOTTED ADULT
1ST CC&BOB SPEARS COUNTRYSTYLE SILVER FLORA 4YRS 3MTHS. Open type face, pale hazel toned eyes, nice size and expression. Long nose, wee bump, level bite and chin slopes back a little. Good cheeks. Nice sized girl of good development. Quite good bone. Very short tail! Her coat is short dense and crisp. The spots are nicely separated in places with good separation down her spine line but has linkage on her sides and are brindled. Lovely bright silver ground.
BLUE KITTEN
1st & BOB GOTEL’S MARDENKA MACLARTEN MN 7MTHS . Big chap of fabulous bone with large fat paws. Good head shape and type, just a little squared in the muzzle. Lovely ornage eyes nice and round but I would prefer them a tad larger for balance. Excelelnt cheeks. Level bite and god chin. Coat is a dark blue, sound to roots a tad silvered and slitghly soft to touch. Super density to the coat though and is fairly short. Balanced thick tail. A nice kitten and my BOV kitten choice.
2nd HAYWARD’S MARDENKA MILLE MIGLIA MN 7MTHS. Litter brother, also a nice big solid lad of very good bone. Head not quite as well typed as the winner for me though. His coat is longer and slightly darker and not quite as dense and sound as the winners. Lovely gold eyes also could do with being fractionally larger to fit the head size but has a nice expression. excellent weight and development.
Both kittens purred for England and are obviously much loved!
CREAM KITTEN
1ST (BOB N/A) WAKEHAM’S MARDENKA MAZARATI MIKE 7MTHS MN Litter brother to the 2 blues. Well grown and solid with excellent bone but he is out of balance today. His head tapers to a squared muzzle. Eyes are a nice soft expression but pale in colour. Bite is just level. Longish coat, soft and isn’t that dense at present. Hot two tone cream, probably changing coats too. Tail balances. BOB not awarded today on coat, sorry.
BLACK SILVER TABBY KITTEN
1ST & BOB LE MONNIER’S MARDENKA MISSME KATE 8MTHS. Small but perfectly formed gorgeous tabby girl, just wish she was bigger and more substantial for her age. Lovely type and spots, super green eyes too. excellent contrast to the bright pale silver ground from the pattern. Fraction brindled on butterfly. Spotty tummy and front paws. Very short fact tail.
2nd. GOTEL’S MARDENKA MYE FAYRELADY FN 8MTHS Litter sister and more substantial with good bone. Her head shape is not quite as rounded as the winners, nose is a fraction longer with a wee bump in profile. Pale hazel eyes, soft expression. Oysters are slightly elongated surrounded by incomplete rings. The colour is good a nice dense black with a mid silver ground. More brindling to the pattern overall.
BLUE-CREAM KITTEN 7MTHS. Litter sister to the blue and cream above. Well grown too and stocky, a tad tetchy, mind you she is a tortie! Round head with squared muzzle, small round orange eyes. Excellent bone. Medium sized ears set well apart. Fat cheeks with good bite and chin. Cobby. Soft dense coat a little long. Mid blue but hot cream patches rather than mingling hence my withholding the BOB today. Both colours sound to roots. 2 solid paws.
BLACK SILVER SPOTTED KITTEN
1ST & BOB BOTTERILL’S VIVAVOOM BOO ZINO F 8MTHS. Sweet expression to this fairly grown lass, large hazel eyes, green spreading from the centre. Short nose level bite and good chin and cheeks. Cobby body of substance. Very short tail! Ears set wide apart. Crisp coat, short and dense. Mid silver ground against black spots elongated on her shoulders otherwise quite well separated as is the spine line. Good tail rings.
BI-COLOURED NEUTER
1ST PC&BOB BENEST’S ADSETSI ROSAI (31a) 1YR 8MTHS. Well grown lady of lovely bone and balance. Pretty type and lovely deep orange eyes but slightly small in size. Bite is untidy but acceptable. Good chin and cheeks. Cobby body, short thick legs. Her coat is short and crisp. She has just about 1/3rd white to colour. A mostly blue face with just the lower cheeks white, front legs have both white and colour, rear legs all white. White to neck and chest. Fully coloured tail. The blue is a dark shade, sound but slightly silvered.
SMOKE NEUTER
1ST (PC & BOB N/A) SPENCE’ CH RYMAROSE RAINBOWSEND (36 E) 3YRS 2MTHS. Big solid lady of substance. Round head shape with plenty of width between medium ears. Good cheeks. Bite level and chin firm. Eyes are round but pale yellow and pale more to the centre. Her coat is fairly short, dense and crisp. Fairly bright tortie colours with a fairly well smoked undercoat, a tad uneven and shady and not demonstrating a clear silver undercoat that I would expect, which may be seasonal so benefit of doubt given today on this, however she has a distinct white locket to her throat which is, in itself a withholding fault.

1`ST LE MONNIER’S CH KOLINGA MERSADIES
2ND SCOTT-TOMLIN’S COLLAMEAD LA PAILLEDOR (16) 9MTHS. Fraction small buit well boned lady. Nice head shape but slightly squared in the muzzle. Good chin and bite. Sweet expression to her large orange eyes. Her ears are medium in size but she tends to hold them a tad upright. Mid toned blue coat that is short but soft and silvered and banded at present.
AC BSH / SELKIRK REX NON BREEDERS ADULT
1ST LE MONNIER’S CH KOLINGA MERSADIES
2ND LE MONNEIR’S COUNTRYSTYLE SILVER IDOL
AC BURMESE NON BREEDERS ADULT
1ST GALLIENE’S GR CH TALIPAW PLAISIR DESOIE (27a) F 5yrs. Dainty lady of deceptive weight though; she is firm bodied and mature with nice rounding to her chest, elegant slender limbs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail marginally short to balance with minor fault at the tip. Marginally flattened top of head between medium gently forward tilting ears of quite good set, she needed to relax back in the pen and she tends to hold them a little high. Short wide blunt wedge tapering to a slightly pinched muzzle. In profile the wedge is of good depth and the short nose has a good break but it just rolls off slightly. Good bite with medium depth level chin. Super coat of mid toned blue, silvering to the extremities and lays well, slight seasonal unevenness in places today but has a nice healthy shine. Super eye shape, set nice and wide apart, good fullness and size with the upper line gently slanting to the nose and the lower is fully rounded. Sadly the colour, in what was broad daylight in this show venue, has some obvious blue tones to her chartreuse eyes, as confirmed by a senior judge.
2nd. WATKINS’ CH GARES EXCALIBUR (27a) M 6yrs Well grown firm medium to long bodied masculine chap of excellent weight and muscle tone. Well shaped and balanced tail but has stud tail at the base. Legs fairly slender proportionate to body and has oval paws. Moderate wedge that tapers to a fairly blunt but fine muzzle. His ears are a trifle large, set wide apart and gently tilt forward. In profile the top of head is rather flattened and his nose is a trifle long and rather broad needing more break. Bite is fine with a fractionally shallow chin. His coat is long and rather thick, not really laying that close at the moment, quite nice texture though and has some silvering to his extremities but he is quite fawned in places and the colour which is fairly soft toned is uneven. His eyes could be larger and fuller and set wider apart for me. The topline appears slightly straight and the lower line is more rounded but tilts up at the corners. My attention was also drawn to one eye tending to look inwards slightly, that said he was rather stressed.
AV ADULT FROM OVERSEAS.
1ST HARRIS’ CH TALIPAW SIENNASILK (27) F 8YRS Nicely balanced lass I have judged before. Super weight to her firm bodied, marginally plump body with elegant slender legs and neat oval paws. Tail of good shape that balances. Top of head is slightly rounded between good ears for shape and set wide apart. The head forms a short and wide wedge that is of good overall depth. In profile the nose is straight with a good break but is a trifle long. Superb coat that is a rich seal even toned brown, super glossy shine to it and is short, fine and close lying. Just a few white hairs. Lovely expression to her large and lustrous eyes, set wide apart with gentle slant to the nose and the lower line is more fully rounded, pale yellow in colour.
AC BURMESE NEUTER
1ST HARRIS’ PR TALIPAW ROYALSILK (27) FN 2YRS 10MTHS. Quality girl I have judged before. Lovely balanced mature lady of very good weight to her firm lithe body. Her legs are elegant and proportionate with neat oval paws. The tail is a good shape to balance but ends bluntly. The top of head is gently rounded and her ears which are medium in size are set well apart with the outer line following the line of the wedge. The head forms a super short wide blunt wedge, just marginally pinched at the muzzle. The nose is short and straight with a good break in profile. Bite is correct with good depth to her level chin. Super coat, even toned glossy rich seal brown lays beautifully, just a few scattered white hairs and is a fraction brindled on her chest. Super typical Burmese pale chartreuse eyes, lovely shape and fullness, good size and set wide apart.
2nd WATKINS’ CH&GR PR ADVERSANE ALFONZO (27b) MN 10YRS Huge lad medium to long bodied with a lovely firm feel and of excellent weight, shapely legs and large oval paws. Tail is balanced but has sandy tones and brindling. Medium ears are set well apart a gently rounded top of head which forms a short wedge wide at the cheeks but is fraction pinched at the muzzle. In profile the depth is good and the short nose is straight with good break but is rather broad. Good chin and bite. Short coat but it is slightly thick and not quite a gradual fade, nice even warm chocolate tones though. Contrast masking and some brindling along his back. His eyes were a rather sore and he appeared a little disconcerted by this, one third eyelid was up and watery so I can’t really comment on the shape properly.
AC BURMESE NON BREEDERS NEUTER
1ST. MILLER’S ADATEBU BOBTHEBLOB (27) MN 9MTHS. What a lovely temperament this young lad had, he purred non-stop and was a joy to handle! Well balanced chap for his age of excellent weight to his medium sized very firm muscular body. His legs are proportionate with large oval paws and his tail is a good shape tapering to a rounded tip just a fraction short. Nice rounding to his top of head between medium gently forward tilting ears set nice and wide apart. The head form a good short blunt wedge that is both wide at the cheek bones and has good depth from top of head to lower jaw, but is just a fraction pinched. In profile the nose is short and straight with distinctive break, bite is correct and he has a medium depth level chin. His coat is gorgeous! Beautiful even rich seal brown of satin feel and lays close. Just a few bars to his hind legs evident. His eyes are a good shape, with nice rounding to the lower line and topline slants very gently to the nose, set wide apart but I would prefer them to be slightly larger.

OPEN CLASSES
AC ORIENTAL IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE.
IGP w/h, 1 MILLER’S IGP PASHTAN VALLIANT. (37d) 12.3.05. Oriental Red. A tall and elegant lad of good type. Long wedge head which requires just a little more width to better balance the length. Large ears with width at the base but which he tends to hold slightly tipped forward. Straight profile, needs a bit more chin, acceptable bite. Deep set oriental eyes of pale green – nicely expressive. Long well muscled body, elegant neckline, long slender legs, long whip tail. Well prepared short and sound rich red coat of excellent texture, with tabby markings evident. Delightful temperament and beautifully presented but, for me, not quite an Imperial.
AC SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER MALE.
GP, MILLER’S PR PASHTAN WILLIEWONKA. (32/10) 10.5.05. Apricot Tabby Point Siamese. Looking extremely relaxed and handsome, better than I have ever seen him actually! Long wedge head, ideally requiring a touch more width to balance the length but his ears are large and very well flared which gives a wider impression. Straight profile, firm chin, level bite. Bright blue oriental eyes – very expressive. Very long body and neckline – has gained muscle and weight since we met last and it suits him. Stands up very tall on long slim legs. Very long fine whip tail. Tabby markings overall well defined in soft warm apricot. M and single cheek ribbons, shadow leg bars and arm bands, good rings to tail. Lightly shaded warm creamy white body – shows good contrast to his points. Well prepared close lying coat. Delightful temperament, beautifully presented.
RGP w/h, 2 MILLER’S PR PASHTAN DAKOTA. (24b) 6.7.06. Chocolate Point Siamese. A handsome boy of very good type. Strong balanced wedge head with large wide based ears of excellent set. Near straight profile just a slight rise over the bridge, firm chin, level bite. Vivid blue oriental eyes with lovely expression. Long strong body and legs. Tail rather thick and has a fixed deviation about 1” from the tip. Points dark in tone but well matched on his ears, mask and tail and they do show warmth. Very lightly shaded warm ivory body – contrast excellent, his coat well prepared, short and close lying. Lovely temperament but his tail fault cost him the reserve award.
ORIENTAL RED NEUTER MALE.
Judged for BOB only and awarded, MILLER’S IGP PASHTAN VALLIANT. (37d) 12.3.05.
CREAM POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE.
Judged for BOB only and awarded, MILLER’S GR CH APRIKAT SONOFMYFATHER. 17.5.06. He has very good type and a gentle disposition, but what a shame he lets his nerves get the better of him and insists on pretending he’s not really there! Strong balanced wedge head with large wide based ears well set and flared. Straight profile, good chin and bite. Expressive oriental eyes of bright mid blue. Fine boned in type with a long well muscled body, long slim legs and a long fine whip tail. Soft cream points, some shading on his body but the contrast good – his coat a touch long but close lying and of good texture. Presentation and condition both excellent.
TORTIE POINT SIAMESE NEUTER.
PC & BOB, LAFFOLEY’S CATLANTIC BOUDECIA. (32t2) 5.11.07. Blue Tortie Tabby Point. A very attractive and stylish madam with attitude!! Strong mid length even wedge head with large wide based and very well set ears. Straight profile with a firm chin and acceptable bite. Bright vivid blue oriental eyes with lovely expression. Long well toned body with dainty legs and feet. Long fine whip tail. Tabby markings overall well defined, a touch dark in tone overlaid with lots of tortie breaks in shades of cream. Well mottled ears. M and cheek ribbons to mask, leg bars and bracelets, good tail rings. Body shaded in tone with her points – shows good contrast. Short, close coat beautifully prepared. Excellent presentation.
NON-PEDIGREE.
TORTIE OR TORTIE & WHITE SHORTHAIR NEUTER. These were three delightful ladies all beautifully prepared for their day out and in excellent condition, I found it very hard to choose a winner, they were all more than worthy.
1 CURTIS & POUNDS’S CINNAMON. FN 1.5.08. Short Hair Tortie & White. A lovely big girl with very expressive and sparkling eyes. Beautifully prepared, her coat was thick and plush, of rich autumn colours with patches of bright red, and clean, pure white feet. Full of character – demanded to be placed 1st.
2 NO NAME IN CATALOGUE. FN 15.5.08. Short Hair Tortie & White. Another big girl, similar to the winner but not quite so outgoing. Again a lovely plush coat and clean bright white legs and feet.
3 HUCKER’S MITZI. FN 3 years. Short Hair Tortie. A dear girl, quite timid, but very gentle. No white on her but she had the most lovely gleaming coat.
