Many thanks to Dominic, (looking very handsome in his kilt I might add), and Kim for the judging invitation. It is always a pleasure to judge at this show, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the weather is always good.

OPEN CLASSES

AC GR PR Oriental Neuter Female
IMP GD PC – Hutchings GD PR WILLHAVETODO IMJUSTDIVINE (43e) 04/08/07. I have judged this lovely female very recently so I have nothing to add to my previous reports. Her coat pattern continues to puzzle all and sundry but I am happy she is what she is registered as, and although possibly not the best example of a Shaded cat she still has enough quality for me to feel comfortable about awarding her the certificate today. I just wish she had more self-belief, her excellent type would look even better I am sure.  Excellently presented as always.

AC Siamese/Balinese Premier Neuter Male
GD PC – Hutchings’ PR WILLHAVETODO SIR PERCY (24n) 27/05/06. Such a dear boy and quite the old friend now. He is a big strong lad with very good type, Head perhaps a touch longer than ideal for balance, but the ears are very large and well set. Oriental eye shape and set, colour could be a little deeper but it is much improved on the colour he had as a kitten. Very good profile and firm chin, bite a little untidy but level. Long strong and slightly heavy body, long limbs but tail rather short and a little thick.  Excellent points colour, sludgy toned lilac based caramel and matching. Off white coat, showing some signs of plucking by the unevenness of the  shading over the back,  length and texture good.  Excellent to handle as always and presented in tip top condition.

R – Butterworth’s PR ADTREAM MERRYMERLIN (32c) 25/04/03. A stylish  older boy of very good type. Medium length wedge, top could be marginally wider but ears very large and well set and he improved hugely when he relaxed.  Very oriental eye shape, perhaps a touch deep set, colour bright mid blue. Good profile and chin, bite has only one incisor remaining but looks reasonably level. Comfortably covered body of good length, long elegant limbs, well tapered tail almost balances. Points colour very good, pale and cool toned. Creamy coat of beautiful texture, shaded overall to tone. Lovely to handle and excellently presented.

AC Siamese/Balinese Premier Neuter Female
GD PC – Meek’s GD PR SHERMESE CHINA DOLL (24) 08/06/07. A dainty and stylish lady. Super head with very good top line and large flared ears wide set.  Oriental shape and set to eyes, colour has very good depth but looked fractionally dull in tone today, lighting perhaps? Quite a pronounced dip to profile centre nose, firm chin and level bite. Long slender and nicely toned body for a lady neuter, long dainty limbs, super long whip tail. Dense seal with some warmth of tone evident. Pale fawn coat quite heavily shaded, but there is still contrast,  length good but texture a touch dry down the spine today. Excellent to handle as always and beautifully presented.

R – Robinson’s PR NATHIFA DELICATED DREAMER (32b1) 20/06/07. An extremely stylish and well balanced female. Stylish head with wide top line and large wide based ears set to continue the lines of the wedge.  Typical expression to oriental eyes of excellent brilliant colour.  Almost straight profile and a deep strong chin that makes you have a good look at her bite, and which, as expected, was marginally under. Long firm and slender body, long elegant limbs, tapered tail needs an inch and has a small “pip” at the tip.  Her tortie pattern is most attractive and quite evenly mingled in rich bright red and the base colour a good dark warm seal.  Super coat texture, short sleek and close lying, shaded overall to tone.  Very sweet tempered and easy to handle. Excellently presented.

Oriental Red Neuter
PC – Clothier’s PR KASSALIC ROBIN REDFEET 07/05/07. Not the largest of cats and he is marginally effeminate for a boy of this age, nevertheless, overall, he is a  very attractive cat.  Super head, stylish and very well balanced with excellent top line and very large ears  set to balance.  Wicked look to oriental eyes of olive green colour. Tiny dip to nose and firm chin, bite has only a couple of lower incisors remaining but looks fairly level.  Body and limbs long and elegant but tail rather short for balance. Excellent rich red colouring to coat showing some diffuse tabby pattern but very good for such a young cat, mostly sound to roots.  Coat texture very good but he was upset and fluffing himself up today, behaved well under the circumstances. Excellently presented.

Oriental Tortoiseshell Neuter
PC & BOB – Lee’s IMP GD PR WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD (37p).  This lady has wonderful type and style, I have judged her so many times I have little  to add to previous critiques. Coat texture superb today.

Oriental Cinnamon Neuter Male
PC & BOB – Hacking’s ALLIBEAR MICKEYMOUSE 25/03/06. An elegant neuter boy. Longer wedge with top line needing a touch more width for balance, ears large but setting marginally high – better when he relaxed. Oriental eye shape and set with mid green colour.  Slight dip to nose, chin good and bite level.  Well toned body of very good length and long limbs, tail needs a touch more length for balance.  Rich warm cinnamon coat, slightly uneven overall and showing a little ghosting on the body, texture superb, beautifully sleek and close lying.  An extremely talkative  and friendly lad, excellently presented.

Oriental Bicolour Neuter Male
IC & BOB – Willis’ WILLHAVETODO PINTSIZEPINTO (48 40) 16/05/08. A young but very stylish neuter, he has a fair amount of maturing to do but is reasonably acceptable for 10 months. Well balanced head with very good top line and large flared ears set to follow. He has his Daddy’s eyes  I see for shape set and expression and the colour is also very good. Strong profile – also his Dad’s, firm spot on chin and level bite.  Longish body of good weight and tone, long elegant limbs, long tail with  small defect at the tip which I managed to persuade myself I couldn’t see.  Lovely warm seal colouring for  a Bicolour with warm toned pale fawn body colour. White  shows mainly across  the chest with a complete, fairly wide line down the tummy apart from  two small islands of fawn, with some on all four limbs and on mask, in all to just on the one third required.  Coat texture a touch soft and fine today but managed to lay close to the body. Super to handle and excellently presented.

MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES

AC Oriental Junior Adult
1st – Dawe’s CH WESTGARTH FOOLSGOLD (37k)  M 23/03/08.  A very handsome and masculine boy, he excels in type and colouring.  His eye colour could be a great deal better as it is very yellowish in tone but there is a hint of green and that is all the standard requires.  Rich warm tones to cinnamon coat which was mainly sound and almost free from tabby ghosting. An impressive lad.

2nd – Trudgeon’s ADATESH KIESHA SUGABABE (37) F 10/10/07. A dear little queen who was somewhat overshadowed by the winner today. Eyes are rather round in shape  and she tends to carry her ears a little high on the head. Lovely coat, dense glossy black and sound.

AC Oriental Breeders Adult
1st – Brandsby’s CH CWMKATZ CAMEO-BELLADONNA (37e) F 12/08/05 Overall a well balanced lady with very good head type.  Coat pattern very attractive with lots of rich red mingling showing overall, and the texture is superbly sleek and close. Sweet temperament.

2nd – Stephen’s SHUNGSHU FRECKLES (43hs) F 14/03/07. A dainty lady of good type though perhaps a touch long in the head for balance, profile and chin very good.  Chocolate tortie  colour warm in tone for a silver cat, silver undercoat is only about one third to one half up the hair shaft and I would have expected to  see better definition for a cat of this age, however as usual the tortie tends to confuse the issue.  Lovely coat texture.

Spring Special Oriental Adult – Members Only
1st  - Dawe’s CH EDINGORSE CHARLOTTE (37d) F 15/07/04. A rather grumpy lady of lovely type. Head very stylish indeed, she does have a small protrusion on the back of the skull but it is much reduced than I remember from previous encounters.  Excellent expression to eyes with good clear green colour. Coat colour very good with the minimum of ghosting, length and texture very good.

2nd -  Brandsby’s LEGSBY ROCKABYEBABY (48 40) F 10/02/07. A slightly shy lady of good type and style, not the largest of queens but has weight appropriate to size. She has very good eye colour for a Bicolour but she is border line for the required one third white.

AC Oriental Special  Limit Kitten
1st – Holt’s ADATESH DOT N DASH (37a) MN 18/08/08.  A big strong lad of good type. Eyes a touch full and looked slightly yellow in tone today. Superb coat qualities, cool toned blue, even in colour with little or no ghosting and mainly sound, length and texture gorgeous.

AC Oriental Maiden Kitten
1st – Wright’s COCOBA GOINGFORGOLD (29) M 27/07/08. Effeminate little boy who was far too small for 8 months of age. Type good but coat colour rather  dark for the breed and is unsound to roots at the moment.

AC Siamese/Balinese Senior Adult
1st – Dawe’s CH BARBECCO STAY WITH ME (32/5) M 18/09/06.  Very good type and style to this lad, he does lack a little in masculinity but he is not small by any means. Very good eye shape and colour  but set slightly straight. Red tabby markings good but a  little pale. Good coat contrast with minimal shading down the spine, Good coat texture.

2nd – Button’s CH PASHTAN ZOE (32b1) F 28/09/05. A shy and gentle lady of good type. Head quite stylish and well balanced. Eye shape correct, she tends to hold them rather wide at times but colour good. Tortie colouring excellent, dark warm seal showing a good deal of rich red mingling. Good coat texture.

3rd  – Salvidant’s SHIMILEETA THINGCALLEDLOVE (32/2) F 29/12/06.  Good size and substance to this lady but the head is a little narrow with a pinch to muzzle, and she needs better eye colour.

 AC Siamese/Balinese Adolescent Adult
1st – Webster’s JOHPAS GOLDEN SILKA (32a) F 25/02/08. Excellent type and rich red points colour, most attractive.  In a marginally better mood today – I was able to  handle her today, just…..

2nd – Budden’s ELEKTRA AMBER ROSE (32b3) F 09/01/08.  A nice big girl of good type. Her eyes could be a deeper blue and her chocolate colouring is a little dark, but it is well mingled with mid and pale red and overall she is an attractive queen.

3rd – Smith’s JAYMAX HEAVON SENT (61p) 20/06/08. Good sized queen. Head a touch narrow and the ears are held rather high. Good points colour. Coat good length and texture

AC Siamese/Balinese Adult from Devon or Cornwall
1st – Dawe’s CH BARBECCO STAY WITH ME (32/5) M 18/09/06

2nd – Salvidant’s CHAIROSS HECATE (24b) F 26/10/07. This queen of good type, she is still rather dainty for a mature  cat, but she has good points colouring and her eyes colour is very good indeed.

3rd – Dickinson’s ALFACENTORY MYSTERS COOLDUDE (32a) M 19/04/08. This chap was beautifully developed but for all of his size, which was considerable, he still has a “baby” look about him. Points colour good but eye colour needs to be much deeper, the shading to coat is rather heavier than you would expect to see in such a young lad.

AC Siamese/Balinese Breeders Kitten
1st – Gray’s LYNNOX KASANOVA (24b) M 23/09/08.  Overall a very stylish boy who has grown on quite well since we last met. Very good head, although for all his wide top line he is still unbalanced with  marginally longer nose than ideal and this is accentuated by the pinch to his muzzle.  Very good eye shape and set but colour could be a little deeper. Good warm mid chocolate points colouring.

2nd – Single’s SINOPE FERN (24c) F 242/07/08. A well grown female of good type. Points colour a touch dark but it does have a pinkish tone to it. Eye colour good. Coat lightly shaded and of good texture.

3rd  - Pound’s JOMESE MUMBO JUMBO (32/1) M 06/11/08. A very promising  and typy little boy, but with the emphasis on little at the moment

AC Siamese/Balinese Aristocrat Neuter
1st – Mills & Collings’ BARBECCO RUBY-STAR (32/5) FN 22/03/08. Extremely stylish young miss with lovely head type. Tabby markings very good in rich bright red. Eye colour okay. Super whippy tail. Very talkative and noisy though not unfriendly.

AC Siamese/Balinese Novice Neuter
1st – Mills & Colling’s BARBECCO REDFORD SHINE (32/5) MN 22/03/08. Litter brother to the previous cat, also very stylish but rather effeminate at this point in his development, hopefully this will improve. Eye colour has good depth but does rather lack brilliance today. Bite very untidy.

Mrs S Bullock

Open Classes
AC ORIENTAL PREMIER NEUTER MALE:
1 & GR PR to CLOTHIER'S PR KASSALIC ROBIN REDFEET
(37d) 1 year 10 months. Elegant young man of very nice type just a touch girlie for age. Stylish even wedge head with a very good top between large open well shaped and set ears. Good profile line, chin quite firm with a level bite. Expressive well set and shaped eyes of dark olive. Svelte well covered body, slim limbs and neat paws with tapered tail just a touch thick along its length and just to balance. Warm rich red coat, short and close lying with minimal surface markings. Somewhat vocal, well presented in good condition.
2 (Res GR PR N/A) STANBRIDGE'S PR GENTANIQUE AVALON (42k) 2 years 3 months. Mature fellow but somewhat overweight thus spoiling his overall elegance. This also leads to the head appearing too small for body. Near even shorter wedge with fair top between ears of moderate size set and held a tad high. Expressive eyes of good set shape and a good clear pale green. Near straight profile level bite and firm chin. Substantial body, long slender limbs neat oval paws and tapered tail just to balance. Excellently prepared coat of fine texture. Beautiful clear silver under colour extending approximate half way up hair shaft. Medium cinnamon quite rich showing some surface markings. Rather grumbly.
AC ORIENTAL PREMIER NEUTER FEMALE:
1 & GR PR to LEE'S CH & IGR PR WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD
(37p) 2 years 10 months. Gorgeous lady who I have judged frequently and continues to be one of my favourite exhibits. It gave me great pleasure today to not only award her another certificate but to select her as the Best Overall Oriental in the show. - Congratulations. Beautiful and stylish, expressive truly green Oriental set and shape eyes. Svelte elegant body, and a beautiful short sleek coat of lovely caramel broken with bright apricots, and today confident and relaxed.
ASIAN SELF/TORTIE INC BOMBAY KITTEN:
1 & BOB WILLIAMS & PALLETT'S CHAMORE EVENINGTHYME
(72a) female 8 months 4 days. Attractive lass nearing adulthood and at first a touch anxious until she settled. She has a fairly short wide wedge head with good width at the cheeks. Just a very slight pinch tapering to a good blunt finish at the muzzle. Gentle rounding to top between medium large ears set well apart. These are of good shape, broad at base with slight forward tilt and neat rounded tips. In profile the head has good depth with a slight curve to the brow leading to a defined break. Nose a little long and near straight - just a slight roll off at the tip. Bite is level bite, chin in line to the nose tip but a touch shallow. Well set moderately large eyes of dark gold and good shape with upper slant to the nose and a fuller lower lid giving a distinctive Burmese expression. Firm weighty body with good solid feel, straight back, proportionate limbs and neat paws. Rounded tip to the well shaped tail of balancing length to the shoulder. Coat of very good quality being a clear even mid blue with consistent colour throughout and well coloured to the roots. Good short length and fine texture lying well to the body with a healthy sheen to the surface. Excellently presented.
ASIAN SMOKE/BURMILLA KITTEN:
1 & BOB WILLIAMS & PALLET'S KENNBURY GLIMPEOFSHE
(72 43aq) female 4 months 1 week. Stylish young lass of overall good type. Slight pinch to a good short wide wedge with width at cheeks tapering to a blunt finish at muzzle. Gentle rounding to top between medium large well set and shaped ears set well apart. These are broad at their base with rounded tips and slight forward tilt. In profile there is good depth to head with a slight curve to brow leading to a good break. Nose is short but shows a slight bump and a very slight roll off at tip. Bite is level with a firm chin. Well set and shaped eyes of good large size clearing to a pale green. Upper lid has a pleasing slant towards the nose and a fuller lower lid giving rise to a very good Burmese expression. Firm and weighty body well developed for age with proportionate well shaped limbs, neat oval paws, straight back and well shaped tail just to shoulder with rounded tip. Coat is short, close of fine texture and lies well to the body. Interesting colour as at first glance in the pen and in the clear hall light it had all the hallmarks of a blue based caramel. However on closer inspection out of the pen, it was definitely the soft silver grey of BCR blue which was particularly clear across the lower back, over the tail, ear tips and edges of the paws including the hind legs. The slightly sludgy sandy overtones to the head, face and shoulders were the areas first suggestive of caramel. Overall the mantle of colour is medium, is clear and even shading to a lighter colour at the lower sides. Slightly more intense colour down the spine line and tail to coloured tail tip. Undercoat is a very pale cool beige extending approximately half way up the hair shaft. Soft pretty markings to the extremities. Beautifully behaved and tolerating well the extensive examination she received.
ASIAN TABBY [SPOTTED, CLASSIC, MACKEREL OR TICKED] KITTEN:
1 (BOB N/A) ROBERTSHAW'S SHADOWS WINTERS EVE
(72 45s) female 5 months 2 weeks. Relaxed kitten a little average in type. Head shows a slightly long wedge with fair width at cheeks tapering to a blunt finish at muzzle. Gentle rounding to top which is a touch narrow between large ears. These are broad at their base with fairly rounded tips and typical forward tilt. In profile the head has good depth, with a very slight curve to the brow leading to a fairly good break. Nose straight but longish with a level bite. Chin has depth but is marginally set back. Large eyes of good dark gold have a pleasing upper slant to the nose but the lower lid needs to be fuller leading to a tendency of being a touch Oriental in shape. Long body well covered but seemingly going through a gangly teenager stage, she needs to fill out and develop further muscle which would improve her weight. Back straight, proportionate elegant limbs, neat oval paws and tapering tail of good shape with rounded tip reaching the shoulder. Coat of good fine texture and close lying but just a little long. Ticking in shiny jet black - two clear bands with ground of a very good clear and even silver totally free of tarnishing. Amiable kitten lovely condition and well presented but rather too many faults for the BOB.
BROWN BURMESE KITTEN:
1 & BOB BEALE'S TEIGNAGE BETTY BOOP
(27) female 3 months 3 weeks. Super little person just old enough to be here today and overall very promising. Lovely head type with a very good short wide wedge. Good width at the cheeks - just a tiny teething pinch, tapering to a blunt finish to the muzzle. Good width to a gently rounded top between well shaped ears of medium to small size. These are set well apart, broad at base with rounded tips and typical forward tilt. In profile the head has good depth with a slight curve to brow leading to a quite well defined break. Nose is short and straight with a level bite and a firm chin in line to the nose tip. Eyes of moderate size are set well apart clearing to chartreuse green. Shape is good (improved as she relaxed) with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller lower lid leading to a very nice Burmese expression. Body is developing well and is firmly muscled and weighty with a straight back and proportionate slender limbs. Dainty oval paws and a well shaped tail with rounded tip reaching to the shoulder. As yet dressed in her baby coat which is short, soft and fine textured of a warm toned mid seal brown which is clear and even in colour throughout. Excellent happy nature and well presented in excellent condition.
BROWN TORTOISESHELL KITTEN:
1 & BOB VIRTUE'S HOBBERDY HOTCH POTCH
(27e) female 4 months. Pretty lass with a very slight longish but wide wedge, width at cheeks and tapering to a blunt muzzle. In profile the head has good depth with a gentle curve to the brow leading to a fairly good break. Nose is straight, a touch long with a level bite and firm chin in line to nose tip. Moderately large eyes of pale yellow Chartreuse are set well apart. Shape is good with the desired upper slant to the nose and a more rounded lower lid giving her a pleasing expression. Firm well muscled and weighty body with straight back, slender limbs, neat oval paws and a balancing length of well shaped tail with rounded tip. Coat is short in length of fine soft close lying texture with a healthy sheen to the surface. Warm seal brown patched and mingled with varying shades of pale reds. Comfortably presented and perfect manners.
SEAL POINT SIAMESE KITTEN:
1 & BOB LODWIG'S MAFDET MAFIOSO

Long elegant well covered and firmly muscled body with long slim legs and oval paws. Tapering tail of good shape just to balance. Coat of warm fawn is sleek, short and near clear affording excellent contrast to well matching points of dark dense seal brown possessing a modicum of warmth. A personable and promising fellow well presented in excellent condition.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE KITTEN:
1 & BOB POUNDS' JOMESE MUMBO JUMBO
(32 1) Seal Tabby Point male 4 months 4 weeks. A very stylish and typy kitten somewhat petite for age but of good substance for his size. Medium long near even wedge with a beautiful broad top between large open flared ears. Profile a little bumpy which should even out as the head matures, bite level and chin firm. Well shaped eyes a touch straight along top line of a fair depth of blue but needing further brilliance of tone. Long elegant body - tummy a touch full (good breakfast?) - slender limbs, dainty spoon paws and a fine tapering tail just to balance. Excellent short sleek cream coat with tabby tracings developing in a warmish seal brown. "M" quite well defined with one and half facial ribbons and clear thumb prints. Good leg bracelets and rings to the tail along its full length half of which are complete. Well presented in a warm nest of blankets and an excellent temperament - I hope he grows a deal more.

BROWN OR BLUE TABBY MAINE COON ADULT, FEMALE.
1st. CH. With held. Hancock's JULESCOON MIKA, 64.41w)
Very young and adolescent looking, needing time to develop.  Fair head, the muzzle needs to broaden, the ears are of medium size and alert in setting.  The profile line tends to be rather straight, the chin has good depth.  Well shaped eyes, oblique in setting.  Well balanced body and limbs, the tail is of mid length and has a full brush.  The coat is of medium length, lacking ruff around the neck at present.  Good glossy topcoat on the back, the tabby pattern on the body is still breaking up.

ASIAN TIFFANIE NEUTER, MALE.
1st. & PR. & BOB. McLeod's BREAKFASTAT VANCLEEFS, 68d)
Friendly young boy, enjoying his day.  Still a little adolescent looking, but everything looking good.  Pleasing head shape with a short blunt wedge, good domed top between the well set ears.  The profile shows a good break and a firm chin.  The eyes are wide set and most expressive and have good gold colouring.  Well shaped strong body of mid length, the limbs and tail length are in good proportions, and the tail has a silky plume.  The coat still needs to develop fully, but is silky in texture.  Good rich red vibrant colouring.

ASIAN SMOKE OR BURMILLA NEUTER, MALE.
BOB. Only. Farinton-Stephens's PR. CHAMORE CAPTAINCLOUDY, 72.43aq)
Mature boy.  The head has a lovely strong short blunt wedge, good domed top and ear setting.  Good strong break to the profile, chin firm.  Expressive wide set eyes, chartreuse in colour.  Well developed weighty muscular body, the limbs and tail length are well shape.  Good coat texture and colouring.

1st. PR. With held. Allen's ADATESH SILVERY-MIST, 72.43bsq)
Well grown boy.  The head has a short wedge which is a little fine in the muzzle.  Good domed top with well set ears.  The profile shows a good break and a strong chin.  The eyes are wide set and expressive with chartreuse colouring.  Strong well muscled body of good length, well balanced limbs, the tail is of good length, but unfortunately has a noticeable defect at the end.  The coat is good and of short fine silky texture.  Good clear silver undercolouring to the base coat, good even chocolate shading.

ASIAN TABBY NEUTER, FEMALE.
BOB. Only. Tibbotts's UK & IGR PR. KENNBURY SEA DAISIE, 72.45bq)
Mature girl with pleasing head shape.  The head has a short wedge.  The ears are well set and the top is domed.  The profile shows a good break and chin.  The eyes are well shape with chartreuse colouring.  Well muscled body, the limbs and tail are well balanced.  Good silky coat texture, good warm base colouring, well defined chocolate ticking.

1st. & PR. Tibbotts's PR. KENNBURY SEA-FAIRIE, 72.45eq)
Attractive youngster, but not in the best of moods.  The head has a short blunt wedge with a good dome on top, the ears are well set.  The profile shows a good profile break and chin depth.  The eyes are wide set and expressive, the eye colour is chartreuse.  Muscular body with proportionate limbs and tail length.  Good silky coat texture, well defined ticking of brown and red.

SILVER BENGALL ASSESSMENT NEUTER.
Merit not awarded to Anderson's MOONMOOR KALYKE, 76.30s)
Well grown young boy, coat spoilt by the extent of the tarnishing.  Prefer the head a little rounder, ears are medium in size.  Quite good profile and chin lines.  Well shaped eyes, hazel in colour.  Well shaped strong well muscled boy, elegant limbs.  Thick set medium length tail.  Good coat texture.  Dark silver base colour on the body.  Noticeable tarnishing on the face, limbs and underparts.  Arrow headed spotting on the body.  Temperament and condition good.

LILAC BURMESE ADULT, MALE.
1st. CH. With held. King's KATSACUTE DREAM.
Only just and adult.  Fair head shape.  The head has a short wedge with a good dome on top, the ears are well set.  Very slight break to the profile, chin of moderate depth.  The eye shape is oval, prefer a more rounded lower lid to give true Burmese look.  The eye colour is gold.  Well shaped body, the limbs and tail length are well proportioned.  The coat is slightly long and a little coarse in texture, the colouring is a cool toned lilac.

2nd. Hillman's SEYSIANA SUNDAYBEST.
Another young adolescent boy.  The head has a medium length wedge with a fine muzzle and a slight pinch.  Good dome on top, the ears are well set.  Slight break to the profile, the chin could be much stronger.  The eye shape is oval and I would prefer a fuller lower lid.  The eye colour is chartreuse.  The body is of good length and well muscled, the limbs and tail length are all well shaped.  The lilac colouring to the coat is quite good, but the texture could be finer and silkier.

RED BURMESE ADULT, FEMALE.
1st. CH. With held. Hillman's CH. TOSCANA EUGENIE ROUGE.
Well grown girl.  Fair head shape.  The wedge is short, but the top is flat, the ears are quite well set.  The profile shows a moderate break, but the chin is weak.  The eye shape is oval and the eye colour is gold.  Weighty strong well shaped body, the limbs are well shaped, but the tail is very short, being only half the required length.  The coat texture is silky, the colour is pale red and I would prefer to see a little more vibrance to the colour.

CREAM BURMESE ADULT, FEMALE.
BOB. With held. Burley's UK.GR.CH. CHARMEUSE MILLENNIUM CREAM.
Mature girl.  Shortish wedge to the head, slightly flat on top, but the ears are well set.  Good profile break and chin depth, but unfortunately, the bite is slightly undershot.  Fair eye shape, could be fuller and more expressive, colour tending to chartreuse/green.  Well shaped body and limbs, good tail length.  Coat colouring dark cream, sleek coat texture.

ORIENTAL CINNAMON ADULT, MALE.
1st. & CH. & BOB. Dawe's CH. WESTGARTH FOOLSGOLD.
Large and stylish young boy.  Lovely strong masculine head shape, the wedge is of medium length with good breadth on top.  The large ears are well set and wide at the base.  Good straight profile line, chin of good depth.  The eyes are expressive, oriental in shape and slanted in setting, the colour is olive.  The body is long and well developed, long fine slender limbs and a tapering tail all balance beautifully.  The coat is short and fine with good warm cinnamon colouring, just not quite sound and showing tonal roots.

ORIENTAL SHADED ADULT, FEMALE.
1st. CH. With held. Stephens's SHUNGSHU FRECKLES, 43hs)
Rather uptight and nervous girl.  Fair head shape, the medium length wedge shows a slight muzzle pinch.  She needs a little more breadth on top, the ears are of a good size, but set slightly high.  The profile line is almost straight, the chin is a little weak.  Fair eye shape, slightly full, and unfortunately shows a convergent squint in both eyes which are of an olive green in colour.  Well shaped body with slender limbs, the tapering tail is of good length for balance.  The coat is a fraction long.  The silver undercolouring is present and the chocolate and red shading is well intermingled.

1 CC & BOB NICHOLSON’S LYNXELOT MISTINGURTT  64 41s  F  20.4.07
Nearly two year old girl shown in lovely condition. Head is medium in length and of good breadth being slightly less than the length. Fairly full cheeks and high cheek bones. Good profile line with shallow concave curve at the nasal bridge being equidistant from the ear line and the tip of the nose and with nose of uniform width.  Excellent feathering and tufts to tall, large ears, wide at base, set high but well apart and tapering to appear pointed at tips. Full and round shape to eyes, spaced wide apart and with slightly oblique aperture and set, yellow in colour. Broad muzzle but I would prefer it squarer, medium depth chin and level bite. Large, long body of good weight but I would prefer to see her more filled out on the haunches. Square rump and good breadth to chest giving a rectangular appearance. Proportionate length, substantial legs and large round paws with tufts emanating from under paws.  Moderately long neck.  Excellent long tail, wide at base and tapering towards the tip and with long profuse, flowing fur. Good undercoat with more substantial glossy top coat developing, good texture. Fur shorter on head, neck and shoulders and showing some lengthening down back and flanks. Good breeches, shaggy belly fur and good frontal ruff. Silver Tabby of bright silver ground colour with black classic markings which were a bit vague for my preference. Just a hint of tarnishing on muzzle and front paws. Nice natured.

Full and round shape to eyes, spaced very wide apart but with slightly oblique aperture and set, yellow in colour. A bit fine at muzzle but noticeably teething today. Firm, level chin and level bite. Good length body, solid and muscular, square rump but needs to develop more breadth to chest to give a rectangular appearance. Proportionate length, fairly well boned legs and large round paws with tufts emanating from under paws. Long tail, wide at base and tapering towards the tip and with some flowing fur. Baby undercoat with more substantial coat developing, good texture. Mr G Martin

Many thanks to Dom, Kim and their team and for finding my excellent steward Ann Hobson-Kelly who seemed to enjoy her first time in the LH section.
AC NON SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION ADULT MALE. GRCH FISHERS' CH. DOLL LIKE DYNAMITE OF OWLETTS. Class Silver Tabby Exotic boy that at just over three years old has achieved balance in head and body that he couldn't possibly improve on. His eyes are the boldest and are the deepest orange possible and speak volumes. Dense plush full of life coat that shows markings to die for. He was quite shy hiding under his blanket for a lot of the day.
RESGRCH PHILLIPS' CH. HADFIELDS BEHIND BARS. Most handsome Brown Tabby Exotic boy just on twenty months old. He has a massive head with balance he could not improve on even if he tried. Very bold eyes with the very best of pigmentation complimented with short broad open type. Cobby low body on the thickest of well bred bone covered with a dense full of life coat. Thick full tail well in proportion. Very unfortunate to be up against my winner in this class.
AC NON SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE. GRCH COOKES' CH. FIRANTY ISADORABLE. A high white Tortie and White girl who will be two years old towards the end of this month. Total head balance with the boldest of eyes showing excellent clear deep pigmentation. Very well presented medium length coat covering a very Persian body shape.
RESCH FISHERS' CH. SHEERBLISS ENCHANTEDLAYDEE. Just days away from two and a half years old this beautiful Tortie Smoke Exotic girl has short broad open type with eyes that are bold clear and a deep shade of orange. Fat full cheeks and deep chin give her a well rounded lower balance. Heavy cobby body with a plush full of life coat showing excellent colours and an undercoat as light as possible.
BLACK ADULT MALE. 1CC TOMLINSONS' PELLARN PINOCHIO. In between adulthood and one year old this Black young man has open balancing type with lovely rounded head features. Bold clear eyes showing an excellent deep shade of orange. Medium to full coat sound to the roots and well presented, all covering a cobby low body set on thick well bred bone.
2nd HOWES' HONEYMIST BLACK MAXIMUS. This Black boy is just days over 22 months old and still has time on his side he just needs to strengthen his chin to achieve the head balance he is seeking at the moment. Medium to full flyaway coat sound to the roots covering a cobby body shape.
BLACK ADULT FEMALE. 1CC WILSONS' FIRANTY ELECTRA. Just days away from 10 months old this Black girl has broad to short open type which balances well with the rest of her well rounded head features. She is low and cobby in body set on good bone and covered with a big coat that showed some seasonal shading which needed more work to put her in contention for BOB today.
2nd HOLDEN-RITCHIES' SHOU TARBABY. At approximately 16 months old this Black lady is not a big girl but is surprisingly heavy. Her top of head is well developed but for balance she needs to widen on her cheeks. She was not in full coat today but what she did have was jet, sound and well shown.
BOB TAYLORS' CH. ANSTEYN DRAKONOIR.
WHITE (ORANGE EYED) ADULT. 1CC BOB HOWES' GRCH HONEYMIST WHITE ALPHINEROSE. Very pretty Orange Eyed White girl just a couple of months over 2 years old. Short broad open type with very wide nostril apertures. Bold clear eyes showing a deep bright shade of orange. Well presented sparkling medium length coat covering a very Persian body shape.
BLUE ADULT. 1CC BOB SMITHS' SOUTHKITTY BLUE MINX. Just days over one year old this Blue girl is about where she should be in her development. She just needs to work on her ear placement to achieve the balance she is now seeking. Medium length well groomed coat in the middle of the colour range - showing some seasonal shading today. She is not a big girl but has development time on her side.
RED SELF ADULT FEMALE. BOB TOMLINSONS' GRCH CHANDISSE CHRISTABELLA. Entered for BOB only.
CHINCHILLA ADULT. 1CC BOB ALFORDS' MAPLEGROVE SILVER MARTHA. Close to three and a half years old this lovely Chinchilla girl has a well rounded head balance with the most expressive eyes showing solid deep colour. Cobby body covered with a coat that was not at its fullest which made her tipping a little heavier than it would be at the right time of year for her.
TORTOISEHELL ADULT. 1CC BOB SMITHS' SHOU FRIVOLOUS. Just on 15 months old this pretty Tortie girl has a well rounded facial balance but with the remaining development time she has left, she could reduce and close her ears at base for perfection. Lovely Persian shaped body with a medium to full coat showing medium to rich shades of red patching in her black.
LILAC CREAM ADULT 1 (CC & BOB Not Awarded) 1 SWINSCOWS' KIRKFORD PEGGOTTY. This Lilac Cream girl is just a couple of weeks over 2 years old - she has no more development time left which is a shame as she needs to bring her ears into a more acceptable position and close them at base. She has a very deep chin but to balance this she needs cheek expansion. She lacked a coat today and her top right hand canine is not correctly aligned.
BICOLOURED ADULT MALE. 1CC COOKES' HOITYTOITY WINSTON. Very handsome Black and White boy who will be one year later this month. He has little if anything to improve on. His medium to full coat had seen every hair separated from its neighbour - sparkling white and jet to the root black.
2nd PAYNES' LEVINA MYLO. Just days over 11 months old this handsome Cream and White has lots of development time left. He has wonderful balance in both head and body but his dentition is still very much in development. Medium to full well shown coat bright white but his cream is on the higher side of the colour scale on his back.
BICOLOUR ADULT FEMALE. 1CC OSMOND & CALVAGNAS' POPUP ANNIE. Just over 15 months old this Red and White is not a large girl but is very well packaged. Well rounded head with bold eyes but still showing a slight rim in the centre which she needs to rid herself of.
Cobby body shape covered with a medium to full well shown coat.
BOB WILSONS' GRCH TYTHERTON TILLTHERE WASYOU. Entered for BOB only.
GOLDEN ADULT. 1CC BOB ALFORDS' INCAHOOTS FLIGHT OF FANCY. Very pretty Golden girl but for twenty and a half months old she is on the small side as far as body development is concerned. Nicely balanced head with lovely golden type and bold expressive eyes with colour not quite yet to the extremities. Medium to full well presented coat.
AC TABBY BI OR TRI COLOUR ADULT INTERMEDIATE. IC BOB HENDERSONS' TIARAZKISS GABRIELA. Very pretty Tortie Tabby and White girl just over 19 months old. Wonderful well developed balance in all departments with the boldest of expressive eyes showing a deep orange which should serve her well throughout her lifetime. Large low body set on the very best of bone covered with a coat showing vibrant colours and pristine white.
2nd Not Awarded
3rd THOMAS' MEAMORI STARBABY. Very beautiful TortieTabby and White girl just over two and a half years old. Lovely head balance with bold clear eyes showing an excellent orange. Boxy shaped body covered with a well shown coat and tail well in proportion but unfortunately with a fixed deviation at the tip.
AC NON SELF KITTEN. 1 HENDERSONS' MAVOUREEN HOKUS POKUS. There's only one word to describe this Black and White girl and that is "Wow" and she's not yet six months old. Congratulations on her BIS LH Kitten win today.
2nd WILSONS' TYTHERTON CAN'T BUY ME LOVE. Just a day over five months this most beautiful Blue Tortie and White girl was most unfortunately to meet my winner in the class.
3rd CONYBEARES' OSCARBARA JUSTLIKEBRITNEY.
LIMIT NON SELF KITTEN. 1 SWAINS' QUARTET HIDING IN SNOW. For just a touch over five months old this Blue Tabby and White is massive in all departments with total balance at this age.

2nd HOUNSLOWS' SPIRO. Spiro is a LH Tabby of eight years old with stunning good looks - he must be a joy to have at home.

RESGRPR ROGOLLS' GRPR KLASSYKLOGS KOBOLT. Very big strong mature Blue boy with handsome good looks and very nice type. Coat generally well groomed and clear at the roots with points quite even in colour but somewhat dark in tone for me. Tail balancing body but several shades darker than other points.
AC BIRMAN PREMIER FEMALE. 1GRPR HARRISONS' PR. RAPTINFLUFF CINDERELLA. What a lovely prefix for this very beautifully Cream lady of super type with lovely vivid blue sparkling eyes. Slight dip to nose with big full cheeks, excellent broad head with very well placed ears and a well tapering chin to balance. BICOLOUR NEUTER. 1PR BROOKS' TUFFTYBEE HENRY. Small but perfectly made young man of just over eleven months. Good top of skull with ears well shaped and held low, wee short nose with cheeks developing and a sweet little red chin. Cobby body with a white coat generally well prepared and quite full with bright red to face, shoulders, lower back and tail. Promising boy who just needs time to grow and expand.
BOB ROGERS' GRCH & GRPR LIEBEKATZ CUTABOVE THEREST. Magnificent Black and White boy who was groomed to sensational perfection. Overall BIS Winner - congrats to Mrs.R.
AC EXOTIC SH SELF NEUTER. 1PR BOB DASHWOODS' PETITEPAWS APOLLO. Handsome 10 months old Black lad with a round typy face and mid orange bold eyes. Good rounded head with ears lowering well, very nice apple cheeks with a short button nose and full deep chin. Not the biggest of boys as yet but has plenty of time to expand. He has a lovely body shape with excellent bone covered by a coat that was quite loose today and he carries evidence of ghost markings which from experience I think will go as he changes coat. His coat colour was dark and sound to the roots and he has a good thick in proportion tail.
BLUE POINT BIRMAN ADULT MALE. BOB BAILEYS' CH. NICADAEMUS ROMANY MAGIC. Big handsome boy.
BLUE POINT BIRMAN ADULT FEMALE. 1CC SUTTLES' ADSETLO TWOULRIKA. Very sweet gentle Blue lady of just under two years of age who is quite a compact shape but was of good strong bone. Well typed face with a nice top of head and well held ears, very slight bump to nose with well developed muzzle and cheeks and a good tapering chin. She has very bright blue eyes but is reluctant to open them and so they appear somewhat hooded. Coat pale and clear and well groomed with points of nearly even colour, just two tones darker to tail.
I unfortunately had to get the Vet to the other young girl in this class as she has rubbed her right eye so much that the conjuntia was very red and swollen with a yellow discharge. I saw her at the end of the day in isolation and she looked fine and seemed to have enjoyed her long sleep in the peace and quiet. At just over nine months I thought she looked very promising, I hope to see her again on a better day.

Mrs S Rainbow-Ockwell

Many thanks to Dominic & Kim for my invite to judge. I always have a great day at this friendly show & today was no exception.

Self Persian Champion Adult Male; GCC PHILLIPS’ CH SYBARIT KNOCKOUT (IMP) (70 3, 8/5/06). Blue Exotic lad super type with a broad masculine head & lovely balance. Excellent top of head with well set ears – they could be just a touch neater. Bold copper eyes of excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Bite almost level. Full cheeks & firm chin. Coat well prepared & generally standing out well from his body, just a little flatter along the spine. Mid blue in colour, just showing a smidge of facial staining in the excellent hall light today. Very well grown strong muscular body with good cobby shape. Strong legs with fat paws. Short tail to balance. A really impressive lad. RGCC TAYLOR’S CH ANSTEYN DRAKONOIR (1, 11/10/07). Attractive young Black lad whom I’ve had the pleasure of judging before. He was looking super today. Lovely type with a good broad head & neat ears. Bold eyes of deep copper, excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Bite fractionally undershot. Full coat which was expertly prepared. Jet black & almost sound. Cobby body. Short full tail. This lovely lad ran the winner so very close, and I really needed two Grands! The Exotic lad just has the edge on maturity of expression at present, but this lad was hot on his heels & I’m sure will be there very soon.

Self Persian Champion Adult Female; GCC Withheld. 1 TOMLINSON’S GR CH CHANDISSE CHRISTABELLA (4, 22/8/04). Sweet Red girl of open type. Quite broad top of head with fairly neat ears. Copper eyes of fairly good size – I would prefer them to be larger & more round in shape. Fairly short nose. Fair width to cheeks. Level bite & firm chin. Coat of good length & well prepared. Deep red to back, paling significantly to flanks & tummy. Showing very heavy tabby markings to legs, with clear ‘M’ & spectacles to face & even a clear butterfly to her shoulders. Very cobby body. Short full tail. I was sorry to withhold on this sweet lass, but for me her type isn’t quite up to Grand standard, plus today she was showing very heavy tabby markings.

Blue Point Birman Male Neuter; BOB ROGOLL’S GR CH KLASSYKLOGS KOBOLT. 1 PC PIRRET’S SAKKARA KASSAM (13c2, 24/5/07). Lad of good type. Good width to head with medium ears held well. Mid blue eyes of good size & shape. Medium nose with good dip in profile. Fairly good width to cheeks. Level bite & fairly good depth to chin. Coat expertly prepared & of good length, just showing slight shading to body. Mid blue to all points. Well matched gloves & socks. Matching tapered gauntlets. Very well grown lad with good strong muscular frame. Medium tail to balance, which was well furnished. Just a bit grumpy today.

Norwegian Forest Neuter Male; 1 PC HOLMES’ JOTUNKATTS HAKU OOKAN (67 36, 13/6/07). Large Black Smoke lad of quite good type. Fairly good triangular head shape with ears of good size held well. Profile is fairly straight, just showing a slight bump. Green eyes of good size & shape. Level bite. Chin could be a touch stronger. Coat of good length & fairly well prepared. Just a fraction soft at present – double coat evident along spine, but still to develop fully throughout. Very well grown with good body shape. Long tail, well furnished.

Norwegian Forest Neuter Female; BOB HOLMES’ PR JOTUNKATTS AMBIANCE.

Blue Burmese Kitten Female; 1 BOB FRANCIS’ STILEWAY MASQUERADER (27a, 17/8/08). Nicely balanced girl with fairly short wedge. Gently rounded head with ears of good size, just needing to settle a fraction as she matures. Pale chartreuse eyes of good size & shape. Nose showing break. Fairly good width to cheeks. Level bite. Good depth to chin. Coat of good satin texture & close lying. Mid blue in colour, shading gently to the roots. Silvering is still to fully develop. Well grown girl with good muscle tone & excellent body shape. Strong yet slender legs with good oval paws. Medium tail tapering to rounded tip. A promising girl.

Red Burmese Kitten Male; 1 BOB STEVENSON’S KIMARLIM RED ADMIRAL (27d, 13/8/08). Lad of fair type at the awkward teenage stage of his development. At present his wedge is looking medium rather than short with a number of areas that need to develop as he matures. Gently rounded head with ears of good size held well. Mid chartreuse eyes of quite good size & shape. Nose showing only a dip rather than a break at present & his nose & muzzle are rather long for balance. His cheeks need to develop as he matures, which is emphasizing the nose a bit at present. Level bite. Chin could be a touch stronger & deeper. Coat of wonderful satin texture & very close lying. Mid tangerine to back & tail, paling slightly to flanks & under tail. Slight smudges to hocks & faint necklace at present. Excellent body of good length, showing very good muscle tone. Strong yet slender legs with good oval paws. Medium tail, tapering to rounded tip. Only just squeaked the BOB today – a number of areas for development, so it will be interesting to see how he progresses.

Excellent width to head – ears just needing to close & settle a touch. Bold copper eyes of excellent size & shape. Very short broad nose. Full cheeks & firm chin. Level bite. Very good width to top of head with neat ears. Mid orange eyes of good size & shape. Good width to cheeks. Level bite & firm chin. Coat well prepared & of good length. Round head with good depth and breadth; neat ears fitting well into head shape; cheeks matured to round muzzle line; firm chin, short broad nose, level bite; round eyes of a lovely copper shade.  Balanced large cobby body of good weight and muscular development; broad chest; short well boned legs, neat paws; balanced tail.  Coat showing good density, short and firm, mid-cream sound to roots.  This lad has a wonderful outgoing personality.  He showed himself so well, and he was a pleasure to handle. Shown in good condition.

Mrs J Tonkinson

My sincere thanks once again to Dominic and Kim for the kind invitation to this lovely friendly seaside show and the excellent hospitality it is always a pleasure to visit this part of the country. Carol Norris stepped in to steward for me for which I was most grateful, I hope you enjoyed your day among the long thin cats as a change from your usual British. Thank you Carol I hope we can repeat the experience in the future.

ORIENTAL BLACK ADULT
1 CC & BOB TRUDGEON’S ADATESH KIESHA SUGABABE 37 F10/10/07very scared and timid young lady, quite a good head with large ears that are well set in spite of her fear, oriental green eyes that she held quite full, almost straight profile with good chin and level bite. Quite good body length and condition with sound black coat that is a fraction long but the lie is smooth, long legs with neat paws and reasonable length of tail which she had hidden underneath herself, she really was not enjoying the experience at all, such a pity to put her through something she dislikes.

ORIENTAL RED ADULT
1 CC & BOB DAWES CH EDINGORSE CHARLOTTE 37d F 15/7/04  mature red girl who was not in the best of moods but nonetheless very stylish with lovely head and large well placed flared ears and oriental set green eyes of really good colour on a red especially. Good strength of profile with firm chin, she has some canine teeth missing now but her bite appears level and she has a few freckles on her lips. Basically slender long body she just seems to have lost her figure slightly no doubt from motherhood, her coat is really short and close lying, rich bright red in colour and appears sound. Slender long legs with neat oval paws, I would have just liked another inch on the length of her whip tail for complete balance.
2 WILLS KASSALIC NITIKA 37d F 5/7/04 sweet natured little queen with moderate even wedge head and large ears of reasonable set but she was inclined to hold them slightly higher than desired. Oriental pale green eyes and straight profile with reasonable depth of chin and apparently level bite if a fraction untidy with the loss of one or two canine teeth. Slender body of good length with short close lying bright red coat that is sound to the roots, long legs with neat paws, again I would have liked another inch on her tail for balance, nicely presented.

ORIENTAL TORTIE ADULT
1 CC & BOB BRANSBY’S CH CWMKATZ CAMEO-BELLADONNA 37e F 12/8/05 lovely friendly black and red mature tortie queen with excellent head and large flared ears that are well set, oriental set green eyes, she has a tiny dip in her profile but good depth of chin and clean level bite. Long body of firm muscle tone and substantial weight with well mingled bright red and black tortie coat that is in wonderful condition maybe a fraction long but of good close lie. Slender legs with neat oval feet and again I would have just liked a fraction more length to her tail for complete balance but altogether a good queen nicely presented.

ORIENTAL BI-COLOUR ADULT INTERMEDIATE
1 IC & BOB BRANSBY’S LEGSBY ROCKABYEBABY 48 40 F 10/2/07 quite nice seal pointed bi-colour queen with medium length head and large ears that are wide based and well set and white on tips. Lovely bright blue oriental eyes fractionally full  and good profile with firm chin and level bite, almost full seal brown mask except for two patches of white on either side of her face which give effect of making her appear slightly pinched in the muzzle but she is not it is just an optical illusion. Long slender body with warm cream tonal shading to her back and pure white from her neck right through the tummy region, her coat is a lovely soft texture maybe just a fraction long but of good lie. Slender legs and neat oval paws with white on all four feet, and lovely long seal brown whippy tail, lovely presentation and temperament.

ORIENTAL BLUE KITTEN
1 & BOB HOLT’S ADATESH DOT N DASH 37a MN 18/8/08 an impressive and stylish young man of excellent overall size for his age, lovely head with huge flared ears well placed and strong profile with good chin and level bite, and oriental eye set and shape, I was slightly disappointed with his eye colour it is just acceptable as green but as he is still a kitten I gave him the benefit of the doubt that the colour still has time to fully develop. Long firm muscular body with really short close lying blue coat that is maybe a fraction dark but sound to the roots in excellent condition. Slender legs with paws that he is obviously still growing into and a wonderful long whippy tail, a real darling to handle with good presentation.

CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN
1 & BOB GRAY’S LYNNOX KASANOVA 24b M 23/9/08 stylish young man with lovely head and large flared and wide based ears and good top line, good strength of profile I would have preferred a slightly deeper chin but his bite is level and bright clear mid blue oriental eyes and well developed chocolate mask. Lovely head carriage on slender neck and long slender body with short close lying ivory coat clear of any shading and in excellent condition. Slender long legs with neat oval paws and slightly paler chocolate stockings and wonderfully expressive long whippy tail well matched for colour, excellent temperament and presentation.
2 COLOMB’S ROLSEN IAMUR MEWBEEM 24b M 24/9/08 young man of modest type with quite a short slightly rounded head, quite large ears of fair set and rather full and quite pale blue eyes with an intermittent glide in both eyes but more marked and noticeable in the right. Almost straight profile but inclined to be rather blunt and broad in the muzzle, dark chocolate mask quite well developed deep chin and level bite. Body of quite good length though rather broad, lacking a little in elegance, short ivory coat free from any shading slightly open. Long legs with neat oval paws and well matched darker chocolate stockings and reasonable length of tail that is slightly blunt at the end. Generally good condition and presentation although he was not a very happy young man inclined to be grumpy.

LILAC POINT SIAMESE KITTEN
1 & BOB SINGLE’S SINOPE FERN 24c F 24/7/08 quite stylish young lady although rather shy at least at first, lovely even wedge with large wide based ears of good set and lovely deep blue oriental eyes and straight profile with good chin and level bite, slightly darker shade of lilac mask that is almost complete. Slender body of good length with short close magnolia coat with just the start of some light tonal shading to lower flanks. Long legs with neat little ova paws and very soft pale pinkie lilac stockings and pink paw pads well matched, lovely length of whippy tail to balance again in soft lilac tones, nicely presented.
2 CUTLER’S LYNNOX KALLIE 24c F 23/9/08 sweet natured little girl with medium length of head and large ears wide at base and of reasonable set, almost straight profile with firm chin and level bite and really soft toned pinkie lilac mask and ears, sadly her eye colour lets her down quite badly they are a really pale china blue and slightly full in shape. Slender long body with clear magnolia coat a fraction long but lovely lye and condition, long legs with neat oval paws and there is just enough pale pinkie lilac colour to her stocking and long whip tail, the points colour is excellent such a pity about the eye colour.
3 BUDDEN’S ROLSEN ROSYROYAL STAMP 24c F 24/9/08 rather stroppy young lady who would have liked to bite me given the chance, quite good head with large ears of reasonable set when she relaxed slightly. Pale blue eyes slightly full in shape and with an intermittent glide in the right, almost straight profile with reasonable chin and level bite, quite dark mask and ears. Long body but slightly chunky lacking in elegance, short close lying magnolia coat and long legs with dark rather muddy stockings and brick toned paws pads with the same colour on her tail that suggest strongly to me that she is probably caramel as opposed  to lilac, she is litter sister to the second placed chocolate boy I see with the same glide in the eyes.

ORIENTAL BREEDERS NEUTER
1 STEPHENS SHUNGSHU MONROMAGIC 43ds MN 14/3/07 sweet natured but very shy young lad with nice head and large flared ears that are well set. Oriental set pale green eyes and straight profile with good chin and level bite, red silver shaded coat on long svelte body maybe a fraction long but the lie is good with approximately fifty percent silver base shading through to red which is better seen on a slightly long hair length. Slender legs with neat paws with just a tiny amount of tarnishing, I would have just liked another inch on the length of his whip tail for complete balance.

ORIENTAL NON-BREEDERS NEUTER
1 PERKINS APRIKAT SUMMERHEAT 62 15d MN 3/11/07 big red tabby oriental longhair boy with wonderful head and huge wide based ears that are fully furnished and show clear thumb prints. Lovely strong profile with good chin and level bite and oriental set green eyes, and full facial tabby markings in rich red. Huge long body with soft silky smooth lying coat of good length, and quite well defined tabby pattern with good penetration of colour in the pattern area in rich red on a pale ground. Long legs with broad paws and fully tufted toes with a wonderful plumed tail and well defined rings, a very handsome boy who grumbled slightly but no aggression I would just say that he needs to watch his figure or it could detract from the overall elegance if left unchecked.
2 HALLETT’S ADATESH MYSTACOOL MERLIN 29c MN 10/10/07 quite pleasing lilac boy with good of well balanced and large flared ears well set. Oriental bright green eyes that are fractionally full in shape, straight profile good chin and bite. Big long sturdy body with short close lying coat that is sound to the roots if a slightly darker shade of lilac but in lovely condition, long legs and neat paws with reasonable length of whip tail.
3 WILLIS WILLHAVETODO PINTSIZEPINTO 48.40 MN 16/5/08 young seal pointed bi-colour boy with nice head and large wide based ears and super deep blue eyes, straight profile with a flash of white down his nose and on both cheeks, good chin and bite. Long slender body with warm tonal shading to his saddle area but pure white from his chin right through his tummy. Slender legs with neat oval paws and white on all four feet, long whippy seal brown tail that has a terminal pip at the end.

SIAMESE BREEDERS ADULT
1 DICKINSON’S ALFACENTORY MYSTERS COOLDUDE 32a M 19/4/08 young red point boy of excellent size for his age and a lovely masculine strength to his head with large well placed wide at base ears with good top line, strong profile with quite nice depth of chin and clean level bite, oriental eye set and shape I would have just liked to see a deeper shade of blue especially on a red point but it is just acceptable, quite well developed rich red mask and ears. Firm muscular svelte body he has a lovely weight and feel to him with short close lying soft creamy coat with just a little tonal shading. Long slender legs with neat oval paws and a paler shade of red on his stockings but well matched to each other and good length of whip tail for balance, his temperament is wonderful with good presentation.
2 CRUMPLER’S SARNAJES CHERRY BLOSSOM 24b F 3/2/08 quite shy young chocolate point queen with fairly good head and large wide based ears of reasonable set when she relaxed slightly. Straight profile with good depth of chin and level bite and oriental eyes of quite a good bright blue colour although a fraction full in shape, well developed mask a darker shade of chocolate but there is warmth and depth to the colour. Slender long body with virtually clear ivory coat that lies well if a fraction long, slender legs with dainty paws and well matched chocolate stockings, I would have just liked another inch on the length of her tail for my taste, good presentation.
3 DAWE’S CH BARBECCO STAY WITH ME 32.5 M 18/9/06 lovely natured red tabby point boy with moderate even wedge and large ears wide at base and of reasonable set showing thumb prints. Bright clear mid blue oriental eyes with single ribbons, straight profile with M to brow quite good depth of chin and level bite with whisker spots all in quite a bright red. Rather long slender body and short close coat with warm tonal shading fractionally long but good lie and condition. Long legs with neat oval paws and pale leg bracelets, good length of tail well ringed. He is a lovely sweet natured boy well presented, however for an entire male of his age the overall impression is that he generally needs to fill out and muscle up and his head is quite small with a rather innocent expression.
X3 SMITH’S JAYMAX HEAVON SENT 61p F 20/6/08 caramel tortie point young queen quite pretty little girl with moderate even wedge and large ears that she inclined to hold slightly high although the set improved slightly as she relaxed. Lovely deep blue oriental eyes and almost straight profile with good chin and level bite with well mingled caramel and apricot mask and ear colour. Slender little body of good weight and almost clear magnolia coat, lovely soft silky condition and of reasonable lie but the length is not yet fully developed. Slender legs and quite neat little paws, she has not yet developed tufts between her toes, there are good breaks of colour caramel and apricot on all four feet and on her tail of good length and for her tender age a nicely developed plume, a really happy little soul nicely presented.

SIAMESE NON-BREEDERS ADULT
This was a lovely class of girls who all showed well and in excellent condition, it was difficult to separate them, lovely to see so many promising young ladies, no one really deserved fourth place.
1 BUTTON’S CH PASHTAN ZOE 32b1 F 28/9/05 mature seal tortie point queen with really good expression of red on all points, nice even wedge head with large wide based ears and lovely bright blue oriental eyes with a really wicked expression, straight profile firm chin and level bite with full seal brown and red tortie mask. Nice head carriage on long neck and slender body with short close lying coat that is quite shaded but in tone with her points and there is still sufficient contrast. Slender legs and neat paws with good mingling and breaks of colour on all four feet, lovely length of whip tail to balance, quite chatty and good natured girl.
2 HARPER’S LYNNOX JEZABELLE 24a F 26/6/08 rather stylish blue point young queen who just lost out on maturity to the winner, well balanced head with large well placed ears wide at base and wonderful deep blue oriental eyes with good strength of profile, she could just benefit from a slightly stronger chin but the bite is level, fairly dark blue mask that appears complete. There is quite a bit of shading to her short close lying coat although still good contrast on slender body of good length, there is still room for growth but she is only just adult. Slender long legs with dainty oval feet and well matched blue stocking and excellent length of whippy tail, a very promising young lady.
3 CLOTHIER’S KASSALIC LIVEFORDREAMS 32b1 F 1/6/08 another nice young queen with good head and large wide based ears well set and with flashes of red evident, lovely profile with god chin and bite and bright clear blue oriental eyes and nicely developed seal tortie mask with a promising amount of red developing. Slender long body with short close lying coat that has some tonal shading, long legs and neat little paws with well matched stockings showing beaks in colour on all paws, nice length of whip tail to balance and good presentation.
X3 BUDDEN’S ELEKTRA AMBER ROSE 32b3 F 9/1/08 chocolate tortie point with balanced medium wedge and large wide based ears that she was inclined to hold slightly high but the set was quite good as she relaxed. Straight profile with good chin and level bite and lovely deep blue oriental eyes, full chocolate and red tortie mask. Long body of good weight and substance with soft textured short close coat that has just a little pale tonal shading on her flanks, slender legs with dainty ova paws all point are well broken with milk chocolate, red and cream and lovely length of whippy tail also well mingled for colour.

Long slender boy and of good overall weight with short close lying magnolia coat free from any shading. Slender legs and neat oval paws with well match caramel stockings and lovely long whippy tail, for personal preference I would have just liked her to be that little bit bigger for her age, but sweet natured and nicely presented.
2 KEIGTLEY’S KASSALIC CASSONOVA CADBURY 24b M 6/3/08 chocolate point young male with medium length wedge head and large wide based ears with quite good width across the top line. Almost straight profile and bright clear mid blue oriental eyes, quite good chin and level bite, his mask is rather a dark chocolate and needs more warmth to the colour, he still has a fairly innocent expression. Good length of body and fairly well muscled but his ivory coat is inclined to be slightly long and quite fluffy and open in texture although virtually free from any shading. Long legs with neat oval paws and well matched stocking in the same shade of chocolate as is his long whip tail, gentle boy well presented.
3 SALVIDANT’S SHIMILEETA THINGCALLEDLOVE 32.2 F 29/12/06 blue tabby point girl with medium wedge and large wide based ears showing thumb prints but she was inclined to carry them quite high. Straight profile with reasonable depth of chin and level bite, oriental eyes of quite a nice bright almost royal blue but she did seem to have an intermittent glide in the left eye, M to brow eye ribbons and whisker spots all present in a nice soft toned blue. Long substantial body her coat is also longer than desired and quite shaded although the lie is good and lovely soft texture, slender legs and neat paws with good leg bracelets, I would have liked another inch on the length of her well ringed tail, gentle friendly girl.

SIAMESE MAIDEN NEUTER
1 COLLINGS BARBECCO REDFORD SHINE 32.5 MN 22/3/08 sweet nature young red tabby point boy with lovely head and huge wide based ears well set and with thumb prints. Straight profile with good chin and level bite and oriental eyes but the colour although possibly just acceptable I felt rather lacked the intensity I like to see, faint eye ribbons Scarab and whisker spots all present in bright rich red. Elegant neck and slender body lines with lovely soft textured short off white coat, slender long legs with neat paws and paler red leg bracelets, lovely long whippy tail that is well ringed a nice young man who is still very adolescent.

Long slender body with short close lying coat that is quite shaded although there is still a degree of contrast. Slender legs and neat little oval paws with good breaks of seal brown and red tortie mingling on all four feet, she would have just benefited a little more with another inch to her whippy tail but good presentation condition and temperament.
2 SINGLE’S SINOPE WELLINGTON 32.3 MN 14/8/06 mature chocolate tabby point boy with quite a good head and large wide based ears with thumb prints but I felt that his eyes were rather deep set and slightly straight and I would have liked a deep shade of blue. Almost straight profile with good chin and bite but quite dark chocolate facial tabby markings, eye ribbons scarab and whisker spots. Big long strong muscular body with short close coat that is quite heavily shaded, long legs and neat paws with well defined leg bracelets and well ringed tail that could just do with a fraction more on the length to balance out his body length, good natured boy.

Small well set ears. Incorrect eye colour of pale lemon with a greem rim to centre. Broad wide nose needing much more definition in break. Large fully formed leather. Lacking in cheeks and needing more width to muzzle. Unable to really assess his bite as he has no teeth apart from his bottom canines. Srong chin. Thick neck. His coat is long, thick and glossy having a soft texture and being expertly prepared with no white stray white hairs. Today it was not sound in colour. He shpwed a very pale chocolate undercoat and stomach but an even, dark chocolate top coat. Very gentle natured boy. Sorry to withold the 1st place but he has the incorrect eye colour for the standard of points.
