My sincere thanks to Helen and the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this lovely friendly show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and handled some beautiful kittens and neuters.  Carol Blakemore took time out to come along and steward for me with her usual expertise.  Thanks Carol.

IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER

1st & IPG Gr Gammell’s Gr Pr Welqust Mrfessiwig a) MN 11.03.2001
It was hard to believe this super chap was over eight years old and what superb condition he was in.  Lovely full round head with good underlying bone structure beneath. Wee small ears which fit into the contour of his head with good breadth between them.  Eyes a little deep set and rather pale in colour now. Lovely full round cheeks and round balanced muzzle line.  Firm chin and level bite.  Super deep cobby boy of lovely overall proportions.  Excellent width across his chest and lovely depth to his body being strong and powerful.  Short thick legs with rounded paws.  Short tail with round tip.  Superb pristine white coat which had been prepared to perfection which totally sparkled throughout was lovely and crisp to the touch and of good length as well.  A super chap who preferred the security of his pen.

SELKIRK REX NEUTER MALE

1st & PC Walker’s Amazolou The New Schmoo (39d) 13.04.2008
A super strong well boned balanced chap who today was having a little grumble but he did let us fully assess him Settled within security of his pen and head butted and purred for us. Super broad head with good underlying bone structure which is round with medium sized ears which were broad at the base and showing tufts to the tips and some furnishing. Wide opened expressive eyes.  Good profile with a short broad nose with cheeks that are filling out well and a lovely well-padded muzzle with curly whiskers which I would just like to be more rectangular in shape.  Hopefully, this will come with further maturity.  His bite was level and chin firm. Super balanced muscular shaped body which was lovely and solid to the touch and of good weight carried on strong boned legs medium length legs finished in round paws.  Tail in balance with random curls. Super well prepared coat which showed unstructured curls which stood away from his body well.  He was just lacking in curl down his spine line day.  Superbly presented and prepared.

2nd Nichol’s Curlu Neo (79L36d) 19.04.2008
Another super chap who was a gentle boy, but very shy and therefore did not show himself to his best advantage. I did wonder if it was because he was on the end of the row.  Very mature looking for just one year three months old.  Lovely round head with good underlying bone structure with medium sized ears with some inner furnishing and tufts to the tips which he just tended to hold a little on the high side. Rounded forehead with a short broad straight nose with slight downward slant.  Expressive eyes Good width to his cheeks, but I would have liked a more rectangular shape to his muzzle and more padding to his whisker pads. He was very shy and worried and I wondered if this was having some effect.   He was of super size and weight being strong and broad with excellent depth overall.  Lovely thick muscular legs with big round paws.  Tail in balanced with some curl. Lovely coat which stood away from the body well but today it showed more wave than overall curl.  Presented well.

SELKIRK REX NEUTER FEMALE

1st & PC Ryan’s Curlu Neve (79s40.5) 19.04.2008
I loved this girl as a kitten and she is certainly fulfilling her earlier promise.  A very delightful young lady who showed herself well.  Lovely head shape with good underlying bone structure. Medium sized ears with some inner furnishing and tufts to the tips. Downward slant to her nose which was broad and straight just had the tiny bump when viewed in profile. Cheeks filling out nicely with a rectangular muzzle and well padded whisker which gave a lovely facial expression. She is of good size and weight being strong and muscular carried on thick medium length legs and rounded paws.  Tail in balance with lovely curl. Super plush feel to her coat which stood away from her body well with random unstructured curls and waves.  She very much enjoyed her cuddle with us today.

2nd Gillott’s Curlu Coco (79l21) 24.07.2005
This girl was just pipped to the post today. Lovely facial expression with medium sized ears which fit into the contour well with furnishing and tufts. Nice profile with a short broad with downward slant when viewed in profile. Lovely round cheeks and well padded whisker complimented by a rectangular muzzle line. The chin was firm, but her bite was very untidy. I would have liked her to be a little larger in size and show more rectangular body shape as she is quite a close coupled. Good strong medium legs and rounded paws.  Lovely balance to her tail with loose unstructured curls.  A lovely coat which stood away from her body well which was not showing so much of a curl more of a wave today, but was prepared down to the last hair.  Not overly happy.

CREAM KITTEN

1st but BOB N/A Watson’s Abellachardan Miocamillo (17) 13.12.2008
A gentle chap who had a fairly round head shape with ears which he did tend to hold rather upright which were wide and open at the base. They did look a little better when he had relaxed in his pen. A good profile with a short broad straight nose. Eyes not fully round in shape but of lovely clear even colour. Cheeks needing to full out and he still requires more muzzle strength for balance, firm chin and a level bite.  He has a large frame and therefore, needs to develop more width and depth overall and stands tall on fine boned legs. Balance tail but with heavy ghost rings. I am afraid his coat is a very dark in colour and showed unsoundness to the roots.  It also had very heavy spotted ghost pattern present throughout as yet.  A sweet natured chap who showed himself well and enjoyed his cuddle. I am afraid not really up to the standard today.

BLUE CREAM KITTEN

1st & BOB Chance’s Charmoden Simplymara (28) 17.02.02009
A delightful and attractive young lady who well grown and of good size and weight Feminine round head with ears which are on the generous size for balance as yet. But they did fit into the shape of her well. Super deep eye colour. Nice profile with a short broad nose, cheeks filling out but she would push out her whisker pads giving her muzzle a square appearance. . She is teething at present and her lower canines are slightly divergent as confirmed by the duty vet.  This should hopefully settle once she has her full compliment of teeth. Super weight and size being lovely and firm to the touch carried on strong little legs and rounded paws all of which were broken with both colours.  She has an excellent short thick dense coat of very pleasing pale blue and cream which for perfection requires more cream throughout to fully balance the colours.  Hopefully this will come with time.  A very playful girl who was presented well.

SELKIRK REX KITTEN MALE

1st Walker’s Amazolou Skaramoosh (79l20a)
A very attractive chap who as the saying goes was ‘small but perfectly formed’ and very pocket sized.   A blue tabby baby of just over three months old.  Lovely gentle facial expression with ears which I have preferred to be of a more medium size but they were broad at the base and placed well. Good browline and profile with a broad straight nose with downward slant. Super round little cheeks which balance his head, but he needs to develop a more rectangular shape to his muzzle. Teething very badly today and therefore there was a muzzle pinch, firm chin.  Small but balanced chap who was all in proportion with muscular legs with rounded paws.  Lovely tail with loose curl.  Lovely well prepared coat which was very attractive in both colour and pattern with super curl around his head and neck and on his tummy and trousers.   A sweet chap who has plenty of time – and what a large purr for one so small!!

No Award Murphy’s Amazolou Supertrooper (79l43fs)
I am not going to comment other than to say this very sweet chap was underdeveloped and not in show condition as confirmed by the duty vet.  I had a good chat with the owner who was very understanding.

SELKIRK REX KITTEN FEMALE

1st & BOB Lamour & Dough’s Crinkles Sunfire (79s15d) 17.04.2009
What a darling of a kitten so friendly and playful and enjoyed being handled and cuddled. And cuddled she was! Lovely facial expression with medium sized ears which fit into her head shape well. Nice browline and profile with a broad straight nose with downward slant.  Cheeks filling out well and a nice shape to her muzzle. firm chin and a level bite.  Superb well grown body already showing lovely depth and balance and was of good size and weight with strong legs with rounded paws.  Tail balances to both her body and legs with plenty of curl.  Her coat was superb super unstructured random curl which went right down to the base of the hair.  A very promising baby who was such a ‘timewaster’. Shown in superb condition.

2nd Lamour & Dough’s Crinkles Sarwillou Phoenix (79s21) 17.04.2009
Litter sister to the winner and not too much to choose between them.  Another playful and sweet baby.  Again very nice facial expression with medium sized ears which I would have liked to be a little broader at the base.  Cheeks developing well as was her muzzle line already showing a good rectangular shape, firm chin and level bite.  Again lovely balanced and solid body lines with good strong legs and rounded paws.  Lovely plush coat which stood away from her body well with curl to her tummy and down her legs.  Another promising baby who was so playful.

BLACK OR WHITE NEUTER

1st Flynn’s Hinderslyne D’Artagnan (15) 14.07.2008
A super well grown chap who was balanced and of excellent size and weight. Super head with nice well spaced ears.  Expressive eyes of deep copper colour. Short straight nose, good rounded cheeks and muzzle line, firm chin and level bite. Excellent width across his chest and nice depth to his body overall with muscular legs on which he still tends to stand a fraction high. Tail in balance with round tip. Very short thick dense black coat of excellent length and texture.  Shown in super condition with a lovely temperament to match.

AC TABBY OR SPOTTED NEUTER

1st Booth’s Shimmerclaw Starchaser (30s) 04.04.2007
Rather a shy boy who settled once back in the security of his pen. Lovely large balanced strong boy who was well developed with lovely type with ears which were set well.  Nice expressive eyes, rounded cheeks and balanced muzzle line with a firm chin and level bite.  A real chunky boy with good legs and rounded paws.  Tail in balance with some complete rings. Unfortunately he was moulting very heavily today and so there was a lot of loose coat. Some brindling present which did tend to spoil the overall pattern today. A placid chap who was just a tad shy and I wondered if it was perhaps his first show.

AC NON BREEDERS ADULT

1st Flynn’s Hinderslyne D’Artagnan (15) 14.07.2008
2nd Dunstone’s Rayanshel Gandalf the Grey (15c) 26.05.2008
This boy would have won this class if he had behaved himself. But today he was not easy to handle and was using some ‘dreadful language’. I have judged him previously when he was a ‘pussy cat’ excuse the pun. Something was obviously upsetting him which was such a pity.

AC TABBY OR SPOTTED KITTEN
1st Leighton’s Porteous Bite the Bullet (15 45c) 09.04.2009
A super Lilac Ticked Tabby who had a lovely rounded head shape with good bone structure beneath.  Ears are rather generous at present but fit into the shape well. Expressive eyes of lovely colour which as yet to fully settle. Broad straight nose, rounded cheeks and balanced muzzle line with a firm chin and level bite.  Super proportionate body which was solid and of good weight carried on strong legs and rounded paws. Tail in balance with round tip.  Obviously still wearing his baby coat as yet. A pleasing lilac colour compliment with cream. Some ticking still needs to develop further on his body. A promising chap

Many thanks go to Helen, John and the Committee of KK&NCC for the kind invitation to judge.  As always a very friendly show with everyone seeming to enjoy themselves.

AC PEDIGREE PET MASTER CAT (GRAND CLASS)

1GR    HOWES MC CHEETAH, Brown Spotted Tabby Male Neuter (08.08.2007)
This young man has a lovely expressive, alert face an ideal setting for his large open eyes.  Facially he has a very strong profile with a very tidy ear set.  He has very attractive tabby markings to his face set on an attractive background colour, together with pretty necklaces, bracelets and tail rings.  Excellent body weight and good conformation.  A very appealing young man who was a pleasure to handle.

WHITE (ORANGE EYED) NEUTER

1PC & BOB    MEADOWS CH FLEURIELE WHITE SUGAR, Male Neuter, (01.12.2007)
Excellent top of head with very neat well placed ears.  Large round eyes of a good orange shade.  Short broad nose.  Almost level bite.  Excellent facial balance including strong muzzle, firm chin and full cheeks.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat low on short fat legs.  Wealth of soft full flowing coat, pristine sparkling white in colour.  A very nicely presented exhibit.

CREAM NEUTER

1PC & BOB    HOWES, GR CH & GR PR HONEYMIST CREAM DESERTSTAR, Male Neuter (11.03.2009)
Good top of head with very neat well placed ears.  Large round eyes.  Colour is especially good for age.  Short broad nose.  Bite is OK especially considering his age.  Strong muzzle, firm chin and full cheeks give very good facial balance.  Very good body weight and conformation sat quite low on short fat legs.  Coat has good length and texture.  It is a pleasing mid-cream in colour but is not quite sound at the moment.  Another nicely presented exhibit.

CHOCOLATE NEUTER

1PC & BOB    STANBRIDGE GR PR LEEROMAX JAYCEE, Male Neuter (12.02.2002)
Good top of head with neat well placed ears.  He has large round eyes.  Colour is quite good for age.  Short broad nose.  Bite is not quite what it should be.  Round cheeks, strong muzzle and firm chin.  Excellent body weight and conformation.  At the moment his coat needs a little more length and fullness.  Where coat is chocolate it is a pleasing shade, however, it is not sound all over and it is showing signs of some seasonal hotness.

BLUE/LILAC TORTIE & WHITE NEUTER

BOB    BURNETT IMP GR CH AND GR PR LOMORAS RUBYTUESDAY, Blue Tortie & White Female Neuter (12 2) (14.06.2005)
Very pretty dilute Tortie & White lady who has an excellent top of head and very neat well placed ears.  Large round eyes of a good orange colour.  Short broad nose and very good facial balance.  Excellent body weight and conformation.  Soft full, flowing, coat nicely patterned and well prepared.  Presenting pale shades of blue and cream.  Facially she has cream to the right ear area and blue to the left with a blue patch on her chin.  She has cream patches to her back and a blue patch to her right hindquarters.  A lovely lady to handle.

AC COLOURPOINT NEUTER

1ST       EMERY CH & PR BRENSHAM HONEYSUCKLEMOON, Seal Tortie Tabby Colourpoint Female Neuter (13b16) (22.04.2006)
Quite good top of head.  Ears are well placed but are held a little tall and open.  Large roundish eyes of good blue colour.  Short broad nose.  Good leather.  Almost level bite.  Strong muzzle and chin.  To achieve facial balance needs a touch more fullness to the cheeks.  Good body weight and conformation.  Short tail which needs more furnishing.  Ruff quite full.  Coat has good length, substance and texture.  Seal markings could be denser in colour.  Good tortie overlay to a pale agouti background.  Body coat fairly creamy in colour but does show some signs of seasonal shading.  Points to ears, mask, feet and tail match quite well.

AC DEBUTANTE NEUTER

1ST       FIDLER HONEYMIST RED MARMADUKE, Red Self Male Neuter (4) (10.11.2007)
Quite good top of head with neat well placed ears.  He has large round eyes of a deep orange shade.  Short broad nose.  Almost level bite.  Whilst he does have a strong muzzle and firm chin he does need a touch more fullness to his cheeks to achieve facial balance.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat quite low on leg.  Coat is a pleasing rich red colour but unfortunately it is not sound to the root and there are still some tabby markings in evidence.  More attention to his show preparation is needed to last the rigours of a show day.

AC SPECIAL LIMIT NEUTER

1ST       CLEMENTS SHEERBLISS CHIQUITITA, Black & White Bi-Colour Exotic Male Neuter (70 12a1) (10.07.2008)
Excellent top of head with very neat well placed ears which nicely follow the contours of his well rounded skull.  Broad open balanced facial features.  Short broad nose.  Bite level.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat quite low on strong well formed legs ending in rounded paws.  Coat is in full moult and is therefore not as plush or dense as it could be at the moment.  Black is a dense shade and white is pristine.  He has a white patch to lower back and a full white collar together with four white feet.

AC PREMIER OR GRAND PREMIER

1ST       BURNETT IMP GR CH AND GR PR LOMORAS RUBYTUESDAY, Blue Tortie & White Female Neuter (12 2) (14.06.2005)
As above.

2ND       STANBRIDGE GR PR LEEROMAX JAYCEE, Chocolate Male Neuter (50b) (12.02.2002)
As above.

AC EXOTIC KITTEN

1ST       FISHER SHEERBLISS CELTIC TIGER, Red Silver Tabby Exotic Male (70 7d) (21.02.2009)
Very good top of head with neat well placed ears which are held just a little open at the moment (teething?) Large round eyes, copper in colour, which are developing nicely.  Short broad nose.  Level bite.  Strong muzzle and chin, just needs a touch more fullness to his cheeks (teething) for balance.  Strong neck and shoulder muscles.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat quite low on short fat legs.  Well rounded paws.  Tail is a good length and is in proportion to overall body.  Coat could be a touch more plush and dense.  Lovely tabby markings with good lines from eyes, “M”, and lines over back of head.  Central spine lines could be less diffused.  Good butterfly and oysters together with necklaces, bracelets and tail rings.  Attractive silvery red ground colour with pleasing deep red overlaying markings.  A very attractive young man.

AC NON-SELF BREEDERS KITTEN

1ST WH

2ND       JENKINS LOMORAS FANTASY, Blue Tortie & White Female, (12 1) (09.04.2009)
Very good top of head an ideal setting for very neat well placed ears.  Large round eyes of a good orange shade.  Unfortunately she does rather scrunch them up and therefore they’re not used to their full potential (teething?).  Short broad nose.  At the moment her bite is undershot and off-centred.  Strong muzzle and chin together with full round cheeks give her good facial balance.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat low on short fat legs.  A prettily marked young lady.  I hope the mouth improves.

3RD       HOWES HONEYMIST LOTUS FLOWER, Blue Tortie & White Female (12 1) (17.04.2009)
Good top of head with neat well placed ears.  Eyes could be larger and bolder but are a good shape.  Colour is still developing.  Short broad nose.  I would prefer more break to the nose.  She does have a strong muzzle and chin, however, to achieve facial balance she does need more fullness to her cheeks.  Good body weight and conformation.  Lovely colouring to her coat which has a pleasing texture and good length.  Unfortunately it did need a lot more preparation underneath to withstand the rigours of the show day.

AC NON-SELF NON-BREEDERS KITTEN

1ST       FISHER OWLETTS ALANNAH, Silver Tabby Exotic Female (70 7) (10.04.2009)
Lovely top of head with very neat well placed ears.  She has large, bold, round copper eyes.  Short broad nose with an excellent brick nose leather.  To achieve facial balance she needs a touch more fullness to her cheeks (teething) to compliment her strong muzzle and chin. Well muscled neck and shoulders.  Excellent body weight and conformation sat quite low on short fat legs which end in well rounded paws.  Overall she has good tabby markings with lines from eyes, “M” and lines over the back of her head.  Her central spine lines are present but are a little diffused.  Good butterfly and oysters together with good necklaces, bracelets, tummy spots and tail rings.  Coat has a good texture and is quite dense and plush.  Attractive silver ground with the colour of her tabby markings developing well.  A very appealing young lady.

AC DEBUTANTE KITTEN MALE OR FEMALE

1ST       EMERY TABITHA, Short Hair – Tabby & White Female Neuter 14 weeks
Sweet little Silver Tabby & White baby.  Very regal profile developing.  Large bold eyes which are an attractive colour.  Solid body weight.  Soft plush coat which is very prettily marked with good tabby markings.  White chin and paws.  A real pleasure to handle.

LH ADULT OR KITTEN WITH THE FLUFFIEST TAIL MALE OR FEMALE

1ST       WALKER POPPY POPSTAR, Chocolate Female Neuter, 11 months
Large lass with a beautiful profile – very majestic looking.  Large bold green eyes set off the noble look.  Excellent body weight.  Beautifully soft texture to a plush coat which gleams with health and vitality.  Full fluffy tail.  Another lovely exhibit to handle.

TONKINESE NEUTER, Male
1 PC SMITH’S ANTIKPATINA HUGGYBEAR (74b) 13.8.08
Relaxed well built boy with ears a little large and I'd like his head a bit shorter. Gently rounded top of head, good width between the ears, width to the cheek bones, correct whisker pinch, Expressive almond eyes of good blue/green colour. In profile shows a slight break with a slightly long nose, chin could be deeper but bite is level. Long muscular body of substance with back rising slightly to the rump, slightly rounded chest, long slim legs and neat oval feet Tapered tail of good shape and length. Short close fine coat, some contrast between body and points, with pale choc body and slightly darker warm choc points In spite of several niggles I felt his overall balance was excellent and deserving f the certificate.
2  CHAPPLE’S ANTIKPATINA LOGIBEAR (74b) 13.8.08
Litter mate to the winner and nother big strong substantal lad ; again, ears a bit large for my taste and head rather long  but good width across the cheeks and god muzzle line with good whisker pinch. Eyes a bit full but he was a litle apprehensive, and colour  tending to blue.  In profile nose a shade long with a very slight profile break correct chin and level bite. Large mature chap in excellent condition with short sleek coat showing a healthy gloss, long slender les and neat paws, tail of good length and shape. Warm choc colour body toning to slightly darker points. I prefered his colour to his brother’s as he didn’t have as much contrast but overall his brother had the edge.

Mrs V Green

I would like to thank Mrs Helen Hewitt for inviting me to judge at this Lovely show with all the neuters available. I was sorry I did not have any kitten classes in the open. But I gather the kitten classes were down in numbers this year everywhere. But I did have some lovely older Birmans which pleased me. With so much variety in one class. As usual the show was well organised, I would like to thank My Husband Ken for stepping in to steward for me. Which he did enjoy,   He fell in love with the Maine Coons !!!

Such a pretty girl with a large even wedge head, wide top and large well set ears, straight profile, firm chin and level bite, green eyes of oriental shape and set, slim body, long legs and oval paws, long tail. As her coat has got longer and the tortie pattern less distinct, I feel ( as I have said before) that she is not a shaded but probably a poor spotty, some of the pattern is sound to the roots, there is not much sign of a clear undercolour and grey roots are now evident, there is also ticking on the undercolour. Such a pretty girl (whatever her pattern) as always well presented in good condition.

BSH GOLDEN TIPPED FN

1ST PC & BOB W/H DUNSTONE’S CH TEMPLEGATES JAZDANE ORIEL.  1YR 1MTH Sorry  to withold, as discussed with her owner, she is all out of balance and has seasonal coat faults. Her head type mind you could be rounder, she is rather “foxy” looking as the top of head is broad but tapers to a narrow muzzle. Cheeks fairly well filled.  Slightly long in the nose, level bite and chin recedes a tad.  Her eyes are a good green but are slightly almond shaped. Neat ears!  Her coat is long and soft, heavy agouti invasion spoils the tipping, which should be much deeper in tone to correctly contrast the rather pale apricot undercoat. The coat is also brindled which also diffuses the intensity of required colour of tipping, which should be black or dark brown, thus creating a washed out effect. Heavy tail rings too. I would like to see her developing more body substance too and more muscle tone for a british.

AC BSH ASSESSMENT KITTEN MALE
MERIT: LEIGHTON’S  PORTEOUS  BITE THE BULLET (15 45C) 3MTHS 2WKS  Lilac ticked Tabby. What a happy purrbox! Super apple head shape with plenty of width between marginally generous ears, set well. Level bite, firm chin, super cheeks, lovely type! His eyes have a lovely soft expression, nicely rounded and of a deep gold colour, promising depth to come. Cobby and weighty solid feel to his body, good bone too, large rounded paws. His tail is broad at base, nice balance with faint rings. Typical but promising baby coat, nice and short, woolly, dense. The colour is a cool toned lilac with warm cream around the head and undersides, legs with barrs too. The ticking is still coming through, mostly on sides, M to face, 2 necklaces and the tip of th tail is the same a s the markings. Wonderful temperament a really solid kitten overall, very relaxed indeed at what must be his 1st show. A pleasure to judge.

AC BSH ASSESSMENT KITTEN FEMALE

MERIT: WOOLFENDEN’S  PORTEOUS RING THE BELL (15 45A) 3MTHS 2WKS.  Blue Ticked tabby. A very pretty girl indeed! Excellent round head shape, very good width between medium sized ears, also set well. Super cheeks, broad level bite, short straight nose; chin just slopes a little.   Expressive large round muddy gold eyes. Cobby well developed body of excellent weight. Short thick legs and fat rounded paws. Tail is a fraction short, well shaped, thick at base with rounded tip. Typical baby coat, but wonderfully short! Dense but a mite softer than her brothers. Mid blue coat with pale bluish fawn evident on her face, ears and legs. M to face, 2 necklaces. Ticking is developing to legs, lower sides and rump. Gorgeous nature a very pretty baby and I loved her type and conformation and her spotty tummy!

BURMESE CHOCOLATE KITTEN MALE
1ST & BOB THOMAS’ SEYSIANA SEYSHIQUE (27b) 3mths 2weeks. This kitten seemed to cause a lot of controversy as to whether he was lilac or chocolate and I must admit as I did say to his owner breeder I took my time in my deliberation. He is a lovely purrbox and was brilliant whilst I was taking my time looking at him. He has a nice look about him, maybe a little small for his age but he was weighty and firm bodied. Slender limbs and neat oval paws with a tail however that is rather short and fine. His head forms a super short wide wedge that has good depth too. Nicely rounded brow with gentle rounding to top of head between marginally generous ears of good set and space apart. In profile the nose is short, the break is better when viewed from one side to the other, I suspect due to teething. The bite is level and his chin is of medium depth and level. Just a tad fine at the muzzle with a teething pinch. Expressive eyes set wide apart, perhaps could be slightly more rounded to the lower line for perfection. Pale yellow chartreuse in colour. His coat itself is short and typically baby in texture, lays quite nicely. Colourwise, I took into consideration the hall lighting which was bright white, not able to take to daylight sadly. On the head there are warm chocolate tones and on his back too. The tail has a light bluish tinge to it though. The pads are pink on his feet and his nose leather is fractionally darker. The coat colour itself is very pale and warm in  tone, not bluish or particularly dove grey. I decided to give the benefit of doubt and judge him as a very pale chocolate.  A difficult situation and it would be interesting to see how he develops.

CHCOLATE BURMESE KITTEN FEMALE

2ND NO 1ST. RUSSELL’S AYSHAZEN TRICKORTREAT (27b) 8mths Large lass, long firm body with slightly tall slender boned legs and large oval paws.  Good tail balances with rounded tip. Generous ears set fairly wide apart a gently rounded top of head; The head forms a moderate wedge that I would prefer to see has a little more width and overall depth. Her nose is a tad long with a wee bump and just rounds off at the very tip. The bite is definitely overshot (as confirmed by the Duty Vet) and the chin although of medium depth recedes.  The coat is a rich cool chocolate, uneven at present and has quite dark contrast masking, nice length and lays well. Her eyes for me could be slightly larger, they are a quite a good shape and set, I would just prefer s slightly fuller lower line, chartreuse in colour. Sorry to withhold 1st, this was due to the bite as discussed with her owner/breeder who was kind enough to agree with my findings and thoughts on her kitten today. Good to have an open and relaxed discussion!

BLUE-CREAM OR TORTIE BSH NEUTER

1ST GILLOT’S CURLU COCO (79L 21) FN 4YRS. Lovely looking lady! I know it is irrelevant but I was quite taken with how nice the tortie colours and mingling was, very striking. Round head shape with very good fullness at the cheeks, untidy but level bite, medium depth chin. Short downward slanting nose. Her eyes are nice and round. Correct ears. Well padded whisker pads. Loose unstructured waves and curls that stand well away from the body but are a tad straight on her back. Quite good ruff and fairly good plumes to the tail. Stands on medium length straight legs and has  a rectangular body of nice substance.

AOC BSH NEUTER

1ST DUNSTONE’S RAYANSHEL GANDALF THE GREY (15c) MN 1yr 1mth  Tetchy chap as we had to get him out for another judge too but he was ok when we put him back. Lovely expression and what hits you is his colour and clearness of coat.  Lovely type and conformation, a tad long bodied but his paws are large and bone is excellent so he just needs to grow into his frame. Excellent orange eyes, large and well opened too. Pale lilac, slight  translucence finish to the tip of the fur, sound to roots though. Short dense a mite soft but there is a firmness to it. Good tail, slightly darker.

2nd. RYAN’S CURLU NEVE (79s 40 5) FN 1YR 3MTHS. Well grown Selkirk lass of nice type and body shape, tail just tapers to a point. Round, full cheeked head, good bite and chin, short nose with bump in profile, downward slant. Round well opened eyes of nice expression. Nicely padded whisker pads. Good waves to her short coat, stands away nicely, not curly but wavy. Nice rectangular body shape of good bone.

3rd. DUNSTONE’S RAYANSHEL LILAH LOVEHEART (15c) FN 1yr 1mth Litter brother to the winner and quite different, pity she is so unsound at the moment.

AC DEBUTANTE BSH NEUTER

BLACK OR WHITE KITTEN

1ST STUBBS’ JALANDHARA THE SQUITE (15) M 4MTHS 3 WKS. Four square lad of cobby frame and good bone. Short thick tail. Apple head shape but rather a deep nose break. His bite is just level and I would watch it and see what happens as he is quite typy and his chin is very firm. Super neat ears. Large round gold eyes. Lovely jet black coat, short and sound.

BLUE OR CREAM KITTEN

Unfortunately the best kitten in this class was a Blue-Cream female so I had to wrong class her..pity!

I didn’t award any placings to the other two kittens and here are my reasons.

WATSON’S ABELLACHARDAN MIOCAMILLO (17) MN 7MTHS.  This kitten is awfully dark, almost a builders sand tone when the sand is wet, entirely wrong for a BSH cream.  His head is fairly round but his ears are set too high. The eyes are not round, more almond shaped which is incorrect, lovely colour though. Good bone to his legs. His coat is short and of fair density but it is also heavily spotted.  I was happy to discuss my reasons with his owner who understood.

MURPHY’S AMOZOLOU SUPERTROUPER (79L) M 3MTHS 1WK. So sorry but this kitten is not at all in show condition as discussed and confirmed by the Duty vet.  Pity because he is very sweet so I hope he develops where he needs to and look forward to seeing him in the condition he should be.

AC MAIDEN KITTEN

1ST WALKER’S AMOZOLOU SKARAMOOSH (79L 20A) M 3MTHS 1WK Litter brother to the above kitten and in much better condition although a tad small and dainty. Currently has large ears to grow into, round head but needs a tad more chin in depth. Level bite. Nice fullness at the cheeks. His eyes seemed more tending to almond shaped, maybe teething?  Nice dome to his top of head. Loose, fraction straight in places coat, nice curls on head, neck and around the ears. Straightish whiskers.  Muzzle to develop shape as is the body.

AC TORTIE BURMESE NEUTER

1ST HUTCHISON’S PR HYPNOS TIGERLILYOF IRREP (27h) FN 9YRS 5MTHS. In fabulous condition for her age and what gorgeous Burmese type!  Still firm bodied, nice rounding to chest and straight backed. Shapely proportionate legs with oval paws and a tail of good shape but a fraction short to balance. Medium forward tilting ears of very good set and width with rounded top of head. Superb short blunt wedge of excellent depth and width at the cheeks. In profile the nose is short and straight with a very good break. Level gums, good depth to chin. Super short fine and close lying coat of excellent texture and glossy sheen of bright reds and warm chocolates that mingle very prettily. Fabulous typical chartreuse eyes, large and lustrous, full lower line and topline slants gently to the nose, they are set well apart and have a very good Burmese expression. Nice relaxed lady to handle too and we enjoyed our cuddles!

2nd SIMMONS’ KYMIAN ULRICA (27h) FN 1YR 5MTHS Sweet young lass who I would just like a little weightier for her size. She is however firm bodied and straight backed with a good tail to balance. Elegant limbs and neat oval shaped paws. Her ears are just about medium in size, gently tilting forward but she did tend to hold them a little low until she relaxed back in her pen. The top of head is slightly rounded, the wedge is fairly short, tapering to a blunt muzzle, just a fraction fine though, very nice overall depth and width at the cheeks. The nose is short and straight with a very good break in profile. Good bite and chin. Expressive large and lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes, nicely set and of good fullness and shape. Superb coat! Gorgeous bright colours, warm chocolate and bright reds really beautifully mingled and very pretty! Slightly nervous but handled ok.

AC PREMIER OR GRAND PREMIER BURMESE .

1ST SIMPSON’S IMP GR PR PAPAGENA NADINA (27h) FN 11yrs. What a gorgeous example of a true Burmese! Well done on the Imperial today, she is just beautiful and in fabulous condition for her matronly age congratulations! Still muscular and firm bodied of good size and excellent weight she has elegant shapely legs and neat oval paws. Her tail is a super shape and balances with paintbrush tip. Her chest is well rounded and her back is straight. Lovely balances proportions and overall look to her. Excellent width between medium gently forward tilting ears following the outline of the wedge correctly. Slight flattening to the top of head between her ears but I guess this is her age. Her head forms a superb short deep blunt wedge of very nice width at the cheeks. Level bite and chin. Her nose in profile is short and straight with a distinctive break. Beautiful coat, short fine and satinlike and is also a gorgeous mix of warm milk chocolates and pale reds. Large lustrous pale yellow eyes that are set wide apart and of excellent shape, of very typical expression, slightly enhanced by her grumpy attitude which I just love in this breed, she was fine to handle, just moaned a bit. A very scrumptious lady!

2nd ELLIS’ GR PR MAINMAN APOLLO (27b) MN 5yrs 2mths. Wonderful laid back nature to this gentle giant of a cat, a pleasure to cuddle! Masculine chap of very good firm body with shapely legs and neat oval paws. His tail is a trifle thick, balances with paintbrush tip. Super short blunt wedge of excellent balance, depth and width. His ears are set wide apart following the outline of the wedge and have a gentle forward tilt. The top of head is slightly rounded. His chest is well rounded and his back straight. Bite is level as is the chin. His yellow eyes are of a good size and shape with good fullness and rounding to lower line, topline gently slants to nose, set wide apart giving rise to the typical Burmese expression. His coat is a lovely warm even toned chocolate, just some seasonal darkening to his back presently, super texture and length and lays well.

3rd. ELLIS’ PR MAINMAN SMARTYPANTS (27c) MN 2yrs 2wks. Superb temperament and very laid back, just purred in our arms, a joy to judge! Good sized lad of nice firm muscular feel to his medium framed straight backed body supported by shapely elegant limbs and neat spoon-shaped paws, his tail is a good shape to balance. His wedge is fairly short, of very good overall depth and width at the cheeks, level bite, the top incisors just lean back a tad. A fraction squared in the muzzle. The top of head is nicely rounded between medium forward tilting ears that follow the outline of the face. The nose is fairly short, straight with good break but just rounds off at the tip. Pale yellow expressive eyes set wide apart. His coat is a lovely shade of dove grey, a little uneven today with possibly seasonal changes, lays well and is short and fine.

AV BURMESE KITTEN (14 WKS- 5 MTHS)

1ST   HAMON’S MERINDA SARISKA (27g) F 3mths 4 wks. What a little character! She obviously enjoys herself in shows, very confident and playful! A nice sized kitten of a good firm feel about her, good rounding to chest with straight back, slender elegant legs and neat oval paws with a well shaped tail of good length and paintbrush tip. Good width between marginally generous ears of correct set, very gently rounded top of head and in profile the nose is short and straight with a good break. The wedge is short and blunt and has a good depth and width at the cheeks. The bite is level and chin is of medium depth but just recedes marginally. Her eyes are a good size, set wide apart, good rounding to the lower line with slant to nose of the upper line, yellow chartreuse in colour, good expression developing, somewhat assisted by her “character” I feel.  Lovely soft tones to her nicely mingled typical baby coat, soft blues and pale creams, very pretty! The length is good and lays close.

AV BURMESE KITTEN (6 – 9 MTHS)

1ST BATELDER’S KYMIAN BLUEBELL (27g) F 6mths 3 wks. Gorgeous baby, very promising. Excellent size and of very good weight and muscle tone, lovely firm feel to her medium length body. Elegant limbs with neat oval paws and her tail just thickens at the base a tad, tapers to a nice round tip, just balancing the body. Her head forms a lovely short blunt wedge that is wide at the cheeks and has a super depth from top of head to lower jaw. In profile the nose is short and straight with a very good break. The bite is level as is the medium depth chin. Beautiful coat that is a delicate mingling of soft toned blues and pale warm creams; is short and fine and lays close. Large lustrous pale yellow eyes that are a super shape and set wide apart thus giving rise to a correct and typical Burmese look. I loved her!

Mrs J Reed

Many thanks to Helen for the invite  - such a shame to see such a depleted entry can well remember exhibiting at RHS Hall in Central London when the Show would turn away entries – it was THE place to exhibit your kittens.
Thank you once again to Pat for stewarding on what turned out to be a busy day  – we took on Steve Morris’ book due to his late withdrawal, my apologies to Exhibitors who were expecting Steve and got me instead!

IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER ORIENTAL MALE
1 IGP BRIGHT’S   GR PR MIDAMYST SPARKLEMAKER  (29) 5/11/06 most lovely relaxed typey Havana lad whom I have long admired. He has grown and matured since last we met and was well deserving of this high award and later I made him Best Neuter. Long wedge with small rise over brow in profile, small pinch, large wide set ears giving perfect lines, oriental eyes of good depth of colour with lovely look to them, firm chin and bite, lovely long neck and body, fine long tail and legs. Really muscled and toned to the body.Colour verges on the dark but has a warm even tone to it and what makes it so pleasing is the texture and obvious work put into it. A lovely lad.
RES IGP   BAXTER’S GR PR SOLARUS CATHYS CLOWN (37r) 28/7/05 A balanced and even lad without the flash of the winner but well deserving of this certificate  -I would have happily given him an Imperial without the presence of his victor. Even wedge with small pinch, large ears – ideally need to be a little more open to base to ‘fix’ the setting, oriental brilliant green eyes, firm profile, level bite, good chin, nice neckline body firm but just slightly short, whip tail and elegant legs. Excellent coat colour  - really rosy toned and almost sound to roots, good texture and length to coat. Well-presented gentle chap.

IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER FEMALE NEUTER
1 IGP LEE’S CH & IGP WILLHAVETODO OUIJA BOARD  (37p) 27/5/06 Another firm favourite of mine whom I have handled many times, I have nothing really much more to add  - you know I love her! She was having one of her shy days today but having heard, from her Owner later in the day, the reason why – she is entitled. A close runner-up for Best Neuter.

GRAND PREMIER SIAMESE MALE
1 & GR PR WALLACE’S     IGP ROZANDEN SIMBA MFALME (32a) 12/4/03 Still looking wonderful for his age and a great credit to his proud Owner. Nothing much else to add to his numerous critiques from me – to nit pick I would like more depth of chin to him and his coat is a tad long however these small niggles are just that and overall his balance type and demeanour leave nothing else to be desired. Dear boy.
2 (RES GR PR w/h) TALBOT’S PR MORLAYN RED ARROW (32a) 4/3/07 large well nourished lad with lovely bright red gold points. He had a couple of problems today, which I felt precluded awarding the certificate. Long wedge with raised occipital ridge, large ears he was tending to hold a little high which unbalanced the lines a little, straight profile, eyes of good shape but very pink rimmed today, of a good depth of blue, long body and tail – stands tall on long legs. Points rich and bright, paler stockings, virtually unshaded coat – this a little long but very good texture.

GRAND PREMIER SIAMESE FEMALE
1 & GR PR CORPS’ CH & GR PR PANDAI NEASSA (32b1) 20/2/05 A rather grumpy lady of very good type. Strong wedge with well set ears complimenting the lines, excellent eye shape and depth of colour although a tad dull toned, small pinch, firm depth to chin and level bite – fee missing teeth now. Very rotund body but thankfully of good length to carry it off! Short whiptail. Points rather too black in tone but with the added benefit of bright red breaks which was pleasing to see, coat was quite heavily shaded and a little dry to the feel.

ORIENTAL BI-COLOUR KITTEN INTERMEDIATE
1 and BOB MIDSON’S MIYOKO SUPER TROOPER (48 43bs) MN 21/11/08 a lovely ‘high white’ lad. Strong little wedge with large ears well set and balancing the lines, oriental deep green eyes, tiny dip to profile, chin rather shallow but bite ok, long neck and firm body ideally I would like him to be a tad more masculine in build by now – ultra long fine whip tail, fine legs. Dark choc  - a little cold however the shading is a little hard to find in so much as he is predominantly white, clear tabby pattern to his little ‘skull cap’, choc around nose area – silver making this dark and cold toned, his tail shows clear ringing with white tip, very faint shadow bars to legs, clear white body and this very ‘bright’ with a super close texture.

BLUE POINT SIAMESE FEMALE NEUTER
1 (PC and BOB w/h) WATSON’S MALIKASIAM MALAIKA SAEEDA 7/10/07 rather short everywhere is best to describe this gentle lady. Short wedge with round full eyes rather dominating  - of a good depth of colour, ears small and set a little too high, small dip to profile, chin rounds slightly but bit ok, short rotund body with a reasonable length of tail. Points dark in tone and the body shows heavy fawning – coat excellent for length and texture.

LILAC POINT SIAMESE MALE NEUTER
Entered for and awarded BOB KERSEY’S MALIKASIAM WILBUR-MEWZED 6/9/07   A boy of good type although his points could show more of a pinky hue to them and he had been plucking at some point it appears. Very relaxed chap.

RED POINT SIAMESE MALE NEUTER
1 PC TALBOT’S PR MORLAYN RED ARROW (32a) 4/3/07
BOB WALLACE’S IGP ROZANDEN SIMBA MFALME (32a) 12/4/03

CARAMEL POINT SIAMESE MALE NEUTER
Entered for and awarded BOB HUTCHING’S GRPR WILLHAVETODO SIR PERCY 27/5/06 Not in the best of humours today this very large gent. Has a strong wedge that is rather spoilt by the fullness of his eyes, which do need more depth of colour to them. His plucked sides since last we met have almost grown in and the texture of his coat pleasing. Typical sludgy points and overtone to the coat colour.

APRICOT POINT MALE NEUTER
1 PC and BOB CROWLEY/LAMBERT’S JOHPAS RAFAEL 9/5/08 Very elegant lad whom I have judged recently. Long wedge with large well set ears and roman profile, chin ebbs away and bite is fractionally over, eyes of good shape and set, brilliant medium toned blue. Long neck and firmly muscled body, whip tail, short close fitting coat of a super short texture, well polished. Points very good typical hot tone, warm body with tonal shading and ghost spotting to sides.

CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN MALE
1 and BOB MEEK’S JOMESE JUSTLOOKATME 6/11/08 and I am sure that is what he was shouting as he was waving his paw at us! A lad of very good type but a touch on the effeminate side as yet. Medium wedge with large open based ears he tends to bonnet, slightly square to muzzle at present, eyes a little on the full side but of a reasonable depth of colour and a pleasing brightness to them, roman profile, chin could have a little more depth but bite is level, long neck and fine body lines with a very long whip tail and fine legs. Points erring on the dark but with pleasing warmth and well matched, his coat qualities superb – warm ivory, unshaded and fitted like a glove.

LILAC POINT SIAMESE KITTEN MALE
1 (BOB w/h) BARNES’ ABICASA CYBERSPIRIT MN 16/12/08 A lad of very good type – just a touch ‘girly faced’ looking as yet. Medium wedge with large open based ears well set to lines, eyes are a little straight in set of deep blue, roman profile, chin shallow but bite level, fine lengthy neck and body, tail of good length but rather heavy. Points are unfortunately very brown toned – it was this that cost him BOB and I do feel he should be re-registered to 24n – the hocks glazed, coat also very warm in tone and fawned. There is no evidence of a pinky/dove grey tone on his points at all. Coat beautifully prepared.

Points super bright red / gold, even developing well to legs. Coat of clear bright white – a touch long.

AC SIAMESE NON-BREEDERS NEUTER
1 LODWIG’S MAFDET MAFIOSO (24) 4/10/08 Just love this seal lad – I know he is young and immature but his type and style is just my cup of tea!
Strong wedge with jug handle ears – eyes of oriental shape and set, lovely expression to them as well, colour could be deeper, roman profile, good chin and bite, typical adolescent body and fine whip, points dark but warm and has contrasting body with a short close coat. Yummy.

AC ORIENTAL NEUTER
1 WEAVER’S PR SUNJADE SKIPPER (37k) MN 27/10/07 Lovely cinny lad – bit of a grump. Medium strong wedge with good topline, the ears could ideally be a little more open to the base to fix the setting, tiny bump on nose, excellent sparkling green eyes of an oriental shape and set, firm chin, level bite. Long rather heavy body, length of tail. Super warm cinnamon coat  - lovely tone to it – a touch long but excellent texture.
2 STANBRIDGE’S PR GENTANTIQUE AVALON (42k) MN 18/12/06 Cinnamon smoke who lacks oriental type but has a good clarity of pattern with typical clown markings to head. Short wedge with small ears set and held high, pale green full in shape eyes, dip to profile good chin and bite. Slightly short heavy body and tail, Short close coat and a reasonable warm spicy tone which is obviously masked somewhat by the smoking which was relatively even throughout.

AC NON-BREEDERS NEUTER
1 BAXTER’S GR PR SOLARUS CATHYS CLOWN (37r) MN 28/7/05
2 JAMES/JAMES-HART PR KRISTOPHE LITTLE WILLOW  (29c) MN 27/1/06 Long wedge with quite a pinch, large ears that are quite well set when relaxed, pale green eyes of a good shape, small rise over brow in profile, good depth to chin and level bite, long body and very long legs, tail slightly heavy. Coat of a good pink hue and reasonably sound. Texture was good and he was a very relaxed chap!
3 STANBRIDGE’S PR GENTATIQUE AVALON (45k) MN
The typiest of the cats entered in this class (Pen 137) I regret I had to wrong pattern. I have long had discussions with the owner and breeder over her registration. I can find no evidence of shading – sure there are patches of lighter undercoat evident but they are where the tortie mingling comes into the equation. Her roots are now distinctly grey toned which is as result of the agouti invasion of hair and I have not doubt she is a bad spottie. Sorry!

AC DEBUTANTE NEUTER
1 GIRDLER’S SHANTAI SPARKLER  (35) MN 4/10/08 only just Adult this FW lad and he looks a baby. Medium wedge with large ears he tends to bonnet, his eyes slightly small but of good shape and very good bright deep blue, almost straight profile chin could be stronger although bite level, short body needing to lengthen and develop – also rather rotund! Whip tail. Super coat short and Persil white!

Mrs L Ward

Thank you Helen for inviting me to judge at this lovely show, I had some lovely exhibits, and thank you Alan for stewarding for me.

Class 251a Brown Kitten Male – 1 Cherkas’ – JUSARKA MY LAST ROLLO - (27) – M - 28.03.09 – he has a short wedge which is slightly narrow and tapers to the muzzle.  There is gentle rounding between the ears which are a good width apart.  The ears follow the outline of the wedge, have a broad base and gently rounded tips, and are a little large at present.  The eyes are a deep yellow and have well rounded bottom lines and the top line to the nose is gently rounded, but they are slightly small.  In profile the brow is gently rounded, there is good depth to the head, and the ears have the correct slight forward tilt.  I would prefer to see a more distinct nose break.  There is a small bump on the nose and the nose leather falls away.  His chin is of good depth, but is set back slightly.  The bite is level.  The firm and muscular body is well built for his age with a rounded chest and a straight back.  He has neat oval paws and slender legs.  Tail is a little fine, but a good length to balance.  His coat is a warm brown tone, and he has visible shadow barring on his hind legs.   He was very lively and purred all the time.

Class 254 Lilac Kitten Female – 1 & BOB – Rant’s – MATAG TRUCHITA TRULOVE – (27c) – F – 9.01.09 – a short wedge tapering down to the blunt muzzle.  I would prefer slightly more width at the cheekbones.  There is gentle rounding to the head between the ears which are set wide apart.  The ears, which are slightly large, are the correct shape with a broad base and gently rounded tips.  They follow the outline of the wedge.  The expressive eyes are a deep yellow tone, and have the correct well rounded bottom line and a flatter top line to the nose.  In profile the brow is gently rounded, the head has good depth and the ears have the correct slight forward tilt.   I would prefer a slightly more distinct nose break for perfection.  There is a slight muzzle pinch (possibly teething).  The bite is level.  The chin is a good depth, and is set back marginally.  Good development to the body, which is firm and muscular.  She has slender legs with neat oval paws and her tail balances and tapers gently to the rounded tip.  She has a close lying coat which is slightly long, but has a good texture and felt like satin.  The colour is a very pale lilac with a faint hint of a pinkish tone over the face.  An attractive girl who obviously enjoys being showed.

ASIAN TABBY KITTEN (1 entered)
1 BOB Sellmans SKAMPAWS MAGGIE MAY (72 45sq) 10/04/09 F
This black silver Ticked Tabby with Burmese colour restriction is just old enough to be shown. She has a petite medium length body with a straight back and rounded chest, elegant limbs and neat oval paws, her tail is a little thin but well shaped and tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances. Her head shows a gently rounded top of head with reasonable width between her medium sized ears that have a broad base, rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edges following the line of her wedge. In profile she has a rounded brow, gentle nosebreak with a short straight nose, level chin that needs a touch more depth and a level bite. She has a medium wide wedge that narrows to blunt muzzle. Her large lustrous muddy yellow eyes have the topline slanting towards the nose but I felt needed more fullness to the lowerline, they are however set well apart. Her coat is a short, soft and kittenish in texture but is close lying and shows warm pale chocolate ticking on a chocolaty silver ground. I did wonder if in fact she is a standard but at just 14 weeks I gave the benefit of doubt and will be interested to see how her coat develops. She has very pretty facial markings with an M on her forehead, pale spectacles and dark mascara, half bars on all four limbs, rings on her tail which has a solid brown tip. A little over awed today but enjoyed our cuddles and soon settled. I understand she won BOV Foreign kitten - well done!

ASIAN SELF OR TORTIE KITTEN (1 entered)
1 BOB Hutchinson KIMANI RASTA OF IRREP (72) 10/03/09 M
Very good size and weight to this Bombay lad, he has a well balanced body that is heavy and muscular with a straight back and rounded chest. His limbs are lithe and elegant with neat oval paws. Good shape to his tail that is of correct thickness, tapers to a rounded tip and balances his body. Gentle rounding to his top of head but he needs more width between his largish well shaped ears that have a broad base with rounded tips and are set with a slight forward tilt. His brow is rounded but he needs more definition to his break but his slightly long nose is straight and he has a shallow level chin and level bite. His wedge is a looking long and narrows to a blunt muzzle that looks a little pinched at the jaw hinge today (teething??). Lovely rich yellow colour to his eyes that are set with the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid, they are set well apart but they could be a fraction larger. Beautiful glossy black coat that is a little long but lays close to his body and is coloured to the roots. A delightful chap who purred and made biscuits the whole time.

1 BOB Sellmans SKAMPAWS SWEET HARMONIE (68 41bs) 23/02/09 F
Most attractive chocolate silver classic tabby Tiffanie of good size and weight for her age, she has a strong muscular body that has a straight back and gently rounded chest, her tail balances. Her legs are elegant with neat rounded paws. Gently rounded top of head with plenty of width between medium well set ears that are wide at the base with rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, the outer line following the outline of her wedge. In profile she has good depth to her head, a rounded brow and gentle nosebreak, straight nose and firm level chin and level bite. Short broad wedge that tapers to a blunt muzzle with good width at jaw. She has large lustrous pale green eyes of the correct shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower lid that are set well apart giving typical Asian expression. Her pattern is very well defined and shows clear warm chocolate tabby markings on a pale silvery ground. She has an M on her forehead, pencilling on her cheeks and a pleasing mascara effect around her eyes. There are unbroken lines down her spine to her tail with a butterfly effect on her back and oysters on her flanks. She has a ringed tail with a solid tip, bars on all four limbs and a spotty tummy. Her coat is developing well and is of medium length and silky and she shows a plume to her tail, ear tufts and streamers and the first signs of breeches and a ruff. A very sweet girl who was really enjoying her day out.

Gently rounded top of head with very good width between her small ears that have a broad base with rounded tips with their outer line following the line of her wedge and set with a slight forward tilt. She has a short broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with level gums. Large lustrous pale chartreuse eyes have the desired shape and set with the top lid slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower line and set well apart giving the correct Burmese expression. Her profile shows a rounded brow, distinct break to her short straight nose and level strong chin. Her coat is short and close fitting with a healthy satiny sheen and of a very pretty mingling of warm chocolate and red. A lovely girl with a sweet disposition.

Mature classy girl just showing a little middle aged spread today (who isnt?) she has a rounded chest and straight back, dainty legs and spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of correct shape and thickness narrowing to a paintbrush tip but is short to balance. Her head has gently rounded dome with good width between her small ears that have a broad base with rounded tips. They are well set with a slight forward tilt, their outer edges following the lines of her face. Short broad wedge narrows to a blunt muzzle, level bite. Large lustrous pale yellow chartreuse eyes have the desired shape and set with the top lid slanting towards her nose with a fuller more rounded lower line and set well apart giving the correct Burmese expression. Her profile shows very good depth to her head with a rounded brow, distinct break, straight nose and level strong chin. Clear rich tangerine coat of superb texture is close lying and sleek and belies her age. A super girl with a lovely temperament.

I last judged this girl when she was a kitten and liked very much then as I still do now. Very pretty chocolate tortie who feels heavy firm and muscular with a rounded chest and straight back, she has elegant limbs and neat spoon shaped paws. Her tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and balances. She has a slightly rounded top of head with very good width between her smallish ears that are broad at the base with rounded tips, their outer edge following the outline of her wedge and set with a slight forward tilt. She has a medium broad wedge that narrows to a blunt muzzle with a level bite. She has good depth to her head, rounded brow and distinct nosebreak, straight nose and firm level chin. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes have the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded lower line, set wide apart. Most beautiful chocolate tortie coat is a pretty mingling of warm milk chocolate and red. She grumbled a little but was relaxed and easy to handle

Handsome mature lad looking every inch a male, he was the baby and only boy in my Veteran class and was very unlucky to meet three cracking girls today! His heavy body is firm and muscular with a rounded chest and straight back, strong elegant legs with neat oval paws. Tail is a little short to balance but is a good shape and tapers to a paintbrush tip. He is just showing a slight flattening to his top of head with very good width between his well set medium sized ears, that have a broad base and rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt. His large lustrous pale yellow eyes have good set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a gently rounded bottom giving a typical Burmese look . He has a pleasing profile with good depth to his head, a distinct break to his slightly long nose, and medium firm chin just recedes a little. His wedge is short wide with a blunt muzzle and level bite. His coat is a glossy rich seal brown that is short and close lying. A gentle chap who was a joy to judge.

A very attractive brown girl of excellent weight with rounded chest and straight back. She has proportionate legs and neat oval paws, and her tail is of good shape and length with a paintbrush tip and balances her body. Slightly flat top to otherwise well proportioned head, with good width between medium sized ears that are wide at the base with gently rounded tips. They are set with a slight forward tilt and follow the outer line of her face. Short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, her bite is level. In profile she has adequate depth to his head, a rounded brow and distinct nosebreak, reasonable depth to level chin. Large lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and set wide apart giving typical Burmese expression. Most beautiful coat of a rich seal brown, glossy and close lying. A happy promising kitten shown in tip top condition.

Much younger baby showing promise. He was of very good weight feeling firm and muscular with a broad rounded chest and straight back. His limbs are elegant and slender with neat spoon shaped paws, medium length and thickness to his tail that tapers to a paintbrush tip and balances his body. He has a slightly flat top of head with good width between his well shaped and set largish ears that are wide at the base, rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of his face. He has a short wide wedge narrowing to a blunt muzzle, with a level bite. In profile he has acceptable depth to his head, and he has rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a short nose that just slopes off. His chin is strong and level and he has a level bite. Nice Burmese look to his eyes which are a yellow chartreuse and have the topline slanting towards his nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid and are set well apart but could be larger. His coat is short and close lying, still a little kittenish in texture and is a pale cool brown. A sweet kitten enjoying his day out and our cuddles.

Older chocolate baby with a well muscled body of good weight for her size, she has a rounded chest and straight back. Slender elegant legs and neat spoon shaped paws, her tail is of good shape with a paintbrush tip. Her head shows a gently rounded top and acceptable width between her medium sized ears that are broad at the base and gently rounded tips and set with a slight forward tilt, their outer line following the outline of her face. Her wedge is short and of medium width and narrows to a blunt muzzle that is showing a 'teething' pinch today. In profile she shows reasonable depth to her head, with a rounded brow, distinct nosebreak with a short nose that just slopes of at the tip. Her chin is of good depth but it just lays back and she has a level bite. Lustrous yellow chartreuse eyes are of the desired shape with the topline slanting towards her nose and a fuller more rounded bottom lid that could be slightly larger. Beautiful short close fitting coat is glossy and of a paler chocolate, a very sweet girl with a lovely temperament.

Promising young lass with a body of elegant proportions with a rounded chest and straight back and feels firm, muscular and is of very good weight. She has elegant slender legs with neat oval paws. Her tail is of good length and thickness and tapers to a paintbrush tip. She has a gently rounded top of head with good width between well set medium sized ears that are nicely shaped with slightly rounded tips, broad base and set with a slight forward tilt. Her wedge is short and wide with a blunt muzzle and good width at jaw hinge. Her profile shows a distinct nose break, short straight nose, strong chin and good depth to head. Large expressive yellow chartreuse eyes, are well set with the top line slanting towards the nose and a fuller more rounded bottom line set well apart to give the typical Burmese look. Sweet blue boy who of excellent size and weight for his age, he has a medium length body with a rounded chest and straight back, elegant legs and neat oval paws. His tail is of medium thickness and tapers to a rounded tip and balances. He has a gently rounded top of head with acceptable width between medium well shaped ears that are set with a slight forward tilt. He has a longish broad wedge with a blunt muzzle but is looking a little pinched at the jaw hinge today (teething?) and he has a level bite. In profile he has a rounded brow but just needs a little more definition to his nose break and his nose is just a little long. Reasonable depth to his chin that just lays back a fraction. His eyes are large lustrous yellow chartreuse in colour but are more round in shape than I would like. His coat is medium in length and lies well and is of a mid blue with attractive silvering on his rounded areas. A happy chap thoroughly enjoying his day out
