Mr G Butler

A sincere thank you to Linda for your good company and your sympathetic handling of the cats.  So many familiar and friendly faces and cats in lovely condition are the ingredients that ensure the appeal of this lovely show each year.  Thank you to all concerned.

AC PERSIAN IMPERIAL GRAND CHAMPION MALE
Imp Gr Ch   Stewart’s   Imp Gr Ch Lazane on Cloud Nine 2a M.   Last year I said he brought a smile to my face well he still has that effect.  Is almost mature now and lives up to his title with ease.

Res Craig & Bell’s   Gr Ch Vita-Nova’s Dreamer (Int Ch)70 30s.  Good type and a lovely coat and the size an Exotic should be.  I like him a lot.

BLACK ADULT MALE
1st  CC  BOB   Piasecki’s   Lafrebella Josiah   1  Male.   Clearly not yet mature but showing all the signs of retaining his good looks as he gets older.  Good head with nice balance, bite a little undershot and good large round eyes.  Lovely coat and condition.

BLACK ADULT FEMALE
1st  CC W/H  Piasecki’s   Lafrebella Jozefina  1  Female.   Poor Jozefina,  obviously has all the qualities of her brother but looked rather sad with very watery eyes and a reluctance show.  I looked at her again later in the day and she looked much happier so may not have travelled well?

RED, CREAM or TORTIE TABBY ADULT MALE
1st  CC  Piasecki’s  Ch Purrsrus Simply Red  9 Male.  I had some misgivings about his coat colour on the day but since he is otherwise such a lovely cat in gorgeous condition I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt.

RED, CREAM or TORTIE TABBY ADULT FEMALE
1st  CC  BOB  McCluskey’s  Jenzjewels Zuri  8e  Female.  What fabulous eyes, they set the seal on the look but all the other features are complimentary so adding up to a very lovely young female.  My one regret is that she is not a little larger although she is quite a good weight.

TORTOISESHELL COLOURPOINT ADULT
1st  CC  BOB  McCluskey’s  Jonnycake Snow Princess  13b6  Female.   Really nice feminine looks, good type without any extremes, good balanced features and attractive coat and colour pattern.  Very well presented and gentle temperament.

2nd  Malcombson’s  Risetta Dancing Queen  13b6  Female.  Equally good looks, in fact I thought they may be sisters.  Again the female look without any loss of the Persian features.  Good coat and texture, well defined points just a little darker overall.  Well shown.

SEAL COLOURPOINT NEUTER
1st  PC  BOB  Furey’s  Gr Ch Clarity Talkof Thetown  13b1  FN.   What a treat to be able to award a very well deserved PC and BOB to a nine year old Female.  I hope she has more shows looking as she did on the day.

EXOTIC SH NON SELF NEUTER
1st  PC  BOB  Hawthorn’s Sheerbliss Voulez Vous  70 12a5ts  MN.   If he keeps these good looks as he matures he will have more success to come.  He is what I consider to be a ‘compact’ cat, every thing is there in one neat parcel.  I like the coat colour and pattern, he is a good weight and he is in lovely condition.

NORWEGIAN FOREST NEUTER
1st  PC  BOB  Balfour’s  Gr Ch Norshelian Skaugongen  67 31s  MN.   Good type with a good nose and profile and well set and spaced ears and with eyes that are the correct shape and size.  Good length in body and limbs and a full length tail.

2nd  Livingstone’s  Njalcats Brodie  67 20 MN.  Rather small but attractive looks with fine features.  Sadly he had become rather ‘spooked’ by a neighbouring cat so was not showing himself at all well.

BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL ADULT
BOB  Riley-Jones  Gr Ch Bambino Shadowdancer  76 30  Female.

1st  CC  Banks’  Junglefire Towanreef Storm  76 30 Male.   He has lovely strong heavily muscled body which becomes evident immediately you pick him up.  I like the type and his overall conformation.  Good clear spotting and coat pattern.  Excellent temperament and a willing participant.

A real pleasure to judge at my own club’s show and delighted to be able to thank the show managers, Bruce and Gillian Bennett, and the hardworking committee for running a super show for all of us once again.

AC Persian Self Champion Female

1 GR CC Morris’s CH COUNTRYGIRL CHERRYBLOSSOM

A red self girl who was just a year old with lovely persian type and a delightful facial expression. She was of medium build with a firm cobby body shape set low on short legs. Head shape was broad and had tiny well set ears with long ear furnishings. The eyes were full, round and of large size and had excellent deep copper colour which cannot come any deeper. Her nose was very short with a very strong nose break and a full pink nose leather. She had fat chubby cheeks and a strong balanced chin with almost level bite. Her coat was of medium length, not at its fullest with a short frill and fluffy trousers.  The colour was of a very deep rich shade of red, free of white hairs and was of a soft texture. The red colour on her face was fairly even and she was solid red over her back but, however, was showing tabby barring down her sides and flanks and had faint tabby rings on her tail which was short and very bushy. I thought long and hard about giving her this award on the day because of this but in the light of the fact that she was not in full coat and the tabby markings would be harder to see when she was better clothed, I decided that she was very worthy of this award, as she is a lovely specimen of the breed. A very sweet natured girl who was well presented.

Reserve Grand Withheld.

2 Armstrong’s CH TRACYLOOE PANDARUSPASSION

A very cobby female who was one year and eighteen months of age. Well built girl with a firm body set low on short thick legs. She had wonderful width of head for a female which had a very pronounced head bump and with neat ears, set very far apart on top which had long ear feathers. Eye shape was very large, well rounded with a  bold expression and had excellent deep copper colour. The cheeks were full and chubby and she had a prominent strong chin. The nose was very short with an extremely strong stop and a somewhat small pink nose leather that had tiny nostrils that I would have liked to be larger. Her bite was narrow and was not quite level although she was a great wriggler and made it hard for us to see. The coat was beautiful, very full, long and soft and was of a pale shade of cream with some slight shadiness at the tips on her back but a pale cream at the roots. The tail was short and very bushy and she had a full frill, fluffy trousers and feathered paws. A well presented girl with a gentle nature. I was sorry to withhold the Reserve Grand certificate but the main reason for this was on account of her very pronounced head bump and also concern about the size of her nasal openings neither of which can change with time.

Exotic SH Self Kitten

1 and BOB Campbell’s DEDANNAN CHASING RAINBOWS

70 1       M      19.10.08

A six month old black exotic kitten who was a good size and build for his age. Good top of head which was rounded with good width and had well spaced ears of small size. Rounded forehead with fat rounded cheeks. Very short broad nose with strong nose break, large nasal openings and a fully formed black nose leather. Large eyes that bold and were fully round in shape with good copper eye colour. The chin was firm and balanced the upper part of the face and the muzzle was broad and the bite was level. The body shape was cobby and set low on short thick legs with a short thick neck and had a firm and solid build. He had a short thick tail that was in proportion to the body length. The coat was a sound black and was very glossy and dense, of medium length but not very plush as it was lying a little flat at present. A very friendly kitten who handled well.

Brown/Blue Tabby (inc Bi-Colour) Maine Coon Kitten Male

1 Gregson’s JULESCOON JOE COONZACKI

64 41w     M     24.20.08

A brown classic tabby and white maine coon boy of six months of age who had very good size and build with excellent boning and musculature developing. Body shape was rectangular and developing good length with a square shaped rump and supported on substantial legs with rounded tufted paws. Medium length head with large tall ears that had good ear tufts and paler ear feathers which were wide at the base. His eyes were full and round and were large in size with yellowish eye colour and set slightly oblique in the face. The nose was of uniform width and had a shallow dip at the nasal bridge with a full pink nose leather. The cheeks were a touch narrow and need to fill out further while the muzzle was a little narrow and long and not fully square yet but he has plenty of time on his side for development. The chin was firm and the bite was level. The coat was glossy and long over the body with the head and shoulders a little shorter. The breeches and tummy were full and there were signs of a frontal ruff starting to form. The tail was of a very good length reaching his shoulders easily and was well furnished with long flowing fur that tapered at the tip. He had white on the lower half of the face and on the bib. The tummy had a tiny white patch and all four limbs had pure white socks. Tabby markings were excellent on the head and body being black on a warm brown agouti ground colour with a definite ‘M’ on his forehead, pale spectacles around the eyes with black eye rims, eye lines and narrow pencilling on his cheeks and lines running over the top of his head. There was a very clear butterfly over his shoulders, three dense black lines running down the lower back region and barring on the limbs. A well turned out exhibit who had an easy going gentle nature.

2 Wright’s POWERKATZ HERO

64 41w     M     20.12.08

Another brown classic tabby and white boy who was just four months of age and who had a firm body that was developing well and was a good size for his tender age. He had good boning, a fairly long neck and a rectangular shaped body with a square rump shape and supported on strong legs with rounded slightly tufted paws that had solid colour from the sole to the hock. Head shape had good width and was of medium length with a broad muzzle and a firm chin with a level bite. The cheeks were fairly full and he had a long nose of uniform width that had a shallow curve at the nasal bridge but with a slight nose bump and a pink nose leather. His large ears were well placed on top and were sitting tall with good ear tufts and feathering and were wide open at the base. The eyes were round and full and well spaced apart with yellowish green colour and set slightly oblique. The lower part of the face was white with an inverted chevron and a white bib and underside. The amount of white was less than one third of the body surface area. All four paws had white socks and the body had clear black tabby markings on a warm copper agouti ground colour showing an ‘M’ on his forehead, headlines and tabby markings down his body.  His tail was long and flowing, well furnished and tapered gently towards the tip. The coat was shaggy and full over the breeches and a frontal ruff was starting to develop. A gentle well mannered cat when handled.

Brown /Blue Tabby (inc Bi-Colour) Maine Coon Kitten Female

1 and BOB Delaney’s COONTIPS PRINCESS LOLA

64.41      F          10.11.08

A very attractive girl of five months of age who had good maine coon type , a lovely facial expression and excellent tabby markings. Head shape was of medium length with correct facial proportions between the ear line, nasal bridge and tip of chin. She had an excellent square muzzle particularly for a female with a firm chin and good cheek width and high cheek bones. Her bite was level and she had a long straight nose of even width and a shallow curve at the nasal bridge and which had a pink nose leather edged with seal brown. Her ears were large and tall well open at the base and tapering to a point at the tip and were well tufted and had shorter pale ear feathering. The eyes were full and round with a lovely expression, yellowish in colour and had a slightly oblique setting in the face and were well spaced apart. Medium size body was solid and well muscled for a female although not of the same size as the males but with limbs in proportion. Body shape was rectangular and with a squared off rump and an elegant length of neck. The legs were sturdy and had rounded paws which had long tufts emanating from the underside and were the best tufted paws on the day. The tummy fur was shaggy and the frontal ruff was starting to develop. Her coat was long and glossy and had excellent tabby marking of black over a warm copper agouti ground colour showing several clear necklaces, a perfectly symmetrical butterfly over her shoulders, barring on the legs and body lines. There were good head lines, a well spotted muzzle, an ‘M’ on her forehead and pencilling on her cheeks and light spectacles around the eyes. The tail was long and flowing and was well ringed and tapered gently towards the tip which was a dark seal brown. A worthy winner on the day.

Silver Tabby Series Maine Coon Kitten Male

1 and BOB Wright’s POWERCATZ EVOLUTION

64 41sw     M     20.12.08

A silver tabby and white boy of four months old who had good body size and weight for his age. Body shape was rectangular with a square ended rump and set on four firm legs that were strong with rounded paws that were all white and with well tufted feet. Correct head shape of medium length and with a uniform width of nose that has the nasal bridge equidistant from the ear line and the tip of the nose. The nose leather was pink and edged with black and giving him a good profile that had a shallow dip at the nasal bridge. He had a good muzzle that was square and with good tabby spotting. The chin was firm with a level bite and the cheeks were fairly full with high cheek bones developing. The ears were large in size with a wide base and pointed at the tip set well apart with silvery ear tufts and good ear feathers. He had fully round eyes that were well spaced apart with clear pale spectacles with greenish yellow eye colour and had an oblique setting in the face. The lower facial area was white and he had a white bib and underside.  Tabby markings were very clear on the head region with good head lines of black over a silver agouti ground colour and a definite ‘M’ on his forehead. Body markings were also very distinct with a good butterfly over the shoulders and clear tabby barring on the legs and lines down his back. The coat was fairly long and flowing with shaggy breeches and belly and there was the start of a frontal ruff beginning to develop. The tail was long and flowing reaching the shoulders with clear tabby rings and tapering towards the tip. An alert and friendly kitten who looks promising.

2 Wilson’s CALEYCOON BRODIE

64 41ds     M     17.11.08

A classic red silver tabby kitten aged five months old. Good weighty body that was solid of a good size for his age with a long body shape and rectangular appearance with a square rump and strong muscular legs with large rounded paws that were well tufted. Medium size head with a very square muzzle already developed, firm chin and a level bite. The cheeks were fairly full and he had a long nose of uniform width with a shallow curve at the nasal bridge and a pink nose leather. The ears were placed well on the top of the head and were large and tall with pointed tips that had good ear tufts and feathering. The eyes were large and round in shape ands had yellowish green eye colour and set slightly oblique and showing pale light spectacles. The coat was of a good length and had a glossy top coat with red and a pale silvery undercoat. The frontal ruff had still to develop and the breeches and tummy fur was shaggy. The tail was very long, feathery and flowing and tapered well towards the tip and showing clear tabby rings. Tabby markings were generally very good on the head and body with strong head lines and an ‘M’ on his forehead. A well presented kitten with good show manners.

3 Thornburn’s JULESCOON NICO

64 41sw     M     17.12.08

Another silver tabby and white boy who was four months of age. He had a medium length head with tall ears, open at the base and pointed with short ear tufts and light feathering. The eyes had good eye set and were full, round in shape and were spaced well apart with a slightly oblique setting and greenish yellow colour. The cheeks were filling out and he had a fairly square muzzle already with a level bite. The nose was of uniform width and had the correct shallow curve at the nasal bridge. The body had god length for a four month old kitten and felt solid and was well muscled with strong legs and a square shaped rump. The coat was shorter on the head and neck and fuller down the back and rump and had a glossy shine and showing black tabby markings over a silver agouti ground colour. The head had a clear ‘M’ on his forehead and he had a white blaze running up the length of the nose. The bib and underside were white with four white paws and with white not exceeding one third of the body covering. The tabby markings were clear with spectacles around the eyes, good barring on the legs and back but there was much tarnishing on the body particularly the legs and back and he had tarnishing on his face which detracted somewhat from his appearance. The tail was long and flowing with very good tabby rings. His underside and breeches were full and shaggy and a ruff was starting to develop. A friendly exhibit who was pleased to be handled.

4 Davidson’s LIONMAINE BEARFACE  BRIAN

64 41SW     M     28.10.08

A big silver tabby and white kitten of six months that I have met before with very good body shape who was very well grown and a real heavy weight with a rectangular body shape and a square rump supported on four sturdy legs with large round paws. Pleasing head shape of medium size and correct proportions with a muzzle that was fairly square and still to develop further. He had fairly full cheeks with good high cheek bones developing and a level bite. The nose was of uniform width and had a slight dip at the nasal bridge with a pink nose leather edged with black. The nose was of a greyish blue shade with cream patches on the nose above the nose leather which was somewhat irregular and also the muzzle was a dark creamy beige shade which might have been tarnishing or staining but it was hard to say which and rather spoilt his appearance and was not seen when he was a younger kitten at a show at the start of the year. Tall ears which were well set and pointed had good tufts and feathering and showing a small patch of tarnishing near the right ear. Bright round eyes were full and had yellowish eye colour and were set slightly oblique with clear pale spectacles. The face and body had good tabby markings with black lines overlying a silver agouti ground colour. There was a clear butterfly over the shoulders, three definite spine lines down his back and barring on the legs. The coat was long and full over the body but shorter over the head and neck and with a frontal ruff starting to form. The tail was of a good length and was flowing and tapered towards the tip. A boy with a lovely gentle temperament. On consulting three other senior judges regarding the creamy markings, the opinion of the judges was that the dark cream shade on the face and over the body were very unusual and irregular and should be investigated further.

Silver Tabby Series Maine Coon Female Kitten Female

1 and BOB McGeachy’s SHAWCOON WE WILL REACH YOU

Head of medium length with an almost square muzzle and a firm chin. The ears were tall, set well apart and sitting high with pointed tips, open at the base and with ear feathers and good ear tufts. Her eyes were full and round, spaced far apart and with greenish yellow eye colour surrounded by paler spectacles and with an oblique setting. The body was rectangular in shape and had a square shaped rump and a longish neck. The coat had a glossy top coat and was blue with a silvery agouti ground colour and was longer on the underside and breeches but shorter over the neck and head region. AOC Maine Coon Kitten

1 and BOB Casey’s SPIRRITZ SCOTCH MIST

64 31es     F     30.11.08

A tortie smoke and white kitten of five months of age who had a small to medium build and was not a big kitten as yet. Body shape was rectangular and had sturdy legs that were well muscled and large rounded paws. Medium length head of correct dimensions had an excellent square muzzle for a female. The ears were tall and pointed and were well placed on the skull with full ear tufts and good short ear feathers and both ears were well patched with one mainly red and the other being black. The eyes were yellow green in colour and wee large and spaced far apart with a slightly oblique setting in the face. The nose was long and straight with a shallow curve at the nasal bridge and had a pink nose leather. The chin was firm and she had a level bite. The cheeks were fairly full and the face was well patched with a cream blaze on the nose and forehead and the muzzle was white. She had a white bib and a white spot in her tummy and all four feet had white paws. The body fur was longer on the back and underside and was short on the head and neck. It was showing both red and black tipping with a silvery white undercoat that was not sharply defined at present. The legs were red and showing slight barring at present. The tail was long and well furnished and tapered towards the tip but also was showing some faint rings at present. A sweet natured kitten.

Miscellaneous Classes

AV Adult Birman or Turkish

1 Russell’s DALTEEMA CRRAILISO AMBER

13c7     F     29.5.08

A cream point birman girl of eleven months of age who I have judged before and who has pleasing type and who was well grown for her age with a long body that was firm and well muscled with strong legs of medium height that had short well rounded paws. Good head shape with a broad strong rounded skull. Medium length nose had a slight dip in profile with a full pink nose leather. Her cheeks were rounded and had plenty of width and she had a firm gently tapering chin with a level bite. Her ears were sited far apart on the head and were of medium size and her eyes were almost round in shape and had good deep blue eye colour. The coat was long with a very silky texture and was slightly curly on the tummy. It was soft and very clear being a lovely pale off white colour with a slight golden glow over her back. A ruff was starting to develop around the neck and the tail was in proportion to the body length and was well furnished and bushy. The points were cream and well matching with the mask almost fully covering the face. The ears, legs and tail were well defined and contrasted with the paler coat colour. The foot markings were pure white with gloves that were level, set a touch low on the upper part of the paw and were slightly scalloped. The right glove reached the stop on the underside but was it was hard to see if it extended beyond that point as the fur was so pale and so she was given the benefit of doubt. The limit of white on the left glove was well defined and neat. The socks were level and matching and had symmetrical gauntlets of good length which tapered nicely nearing the hock. A well behaved girl who handled very well, shown in good condition and who was beautifully presented.

2 Leppard’s CH KLASSYKLOGS KATRIONA

13c1     F     5.4.08

A favourite seal point girl of mine who I have met several times before but today she was not in a good humour as she may have been upset by the antics of some males nearby who were misbehaving which did not let her show herself as well as she usually does, as she is a girl with a very sweet gentle nature. She has very good birman type with firm solid body that is now well grown, of good length with strong well muscled legs of medium height. Head shape was broad with a well rounded skull and with medium size ears that were placed far apart and which had dark seal brown colour. The profile was good with a nose that was of medium length and had a slight dip at the nasal bridge and with a full seal brown nose leather. The chin was firm and slightly tapered which balanced the upper part of the face. She had full well rounded cheeks of good width and a level bite. The eyes were large and almost round in shape with deep blue eye colour and lovely birman expression. Her coat was fairly long and was very soft and silky in texture with a ruff present and was of a pale beige shade that was clear with just a slight golden glow over her back and some faint shadiness on her flanks. The points were a rich dark seal brown shade and the mask was well developed and matched the other points fairly well although the legs and tail were slightly paler in colour. The tail was bushy and of medium length which was in proportion to the body length. The foot markings were pristine white with gloves that had the right one slightly scalloped and not in a dead straight line across the paw but of correct length reaching almost to the angle of the paw. The socks were not quite matching with the right one slightly longer on the upper surface and with both socks covering the entire hind paw fully. The gauntlets were very well matched being of equal length but of slightly different widths. One tapered well to a point close to the hock and the other one was marginally slightly wider and a little more blunt in shape. A good example of the breed and a girl who is promising.

AV SLH Neuter Exc Birman or Turkish

1 Pringle’s GR PR ADDICTIKAT LAMBOURGINI

66aw     MN     2.3.02

A blue and white bicolour ragdoll who had excellent physique being a massive chap with a long body which was very well muscled on medium height legs which were substantial and supported his heavy weight and had large rounded paws. Excellent broad head that had a very flat plane and good width between the ears which were of medium size and set with a slight forward tilt. His nose was of medium length and had a gentle dip at the nasal bridge and a correct slightly retrousee tip. He had full rounded cheeks and a firm balanced chin with a broad muzzle, lovely long whiskers and a level bite. The eyes were large in size and had good deep blue eye colour with a slightly oblique setting in the face. His coat was medium length and was dense with a silky and very soft texture. He had a good ruff and a long bushy tail that tapered towards the tip. The coat colour was a bluish white and was shady over the back. The points were a bluish grey shade and the mask had an inverted chevron of white on the lower part of the face and covered the whisker pads and chin. The underside of the body was white with a white bib and all four feet were white. A boy with a lovely cuddly nature and it was a pleasure to handle him.

2 Gordon’s JULESCOON BROGANS DELIGHT

64 41w     MN     4.11.07

A classic brown tabby and white maine coon boy who was one year and a half who was huge, really well built but with plenty of attitude as he refused to come out of his pen and made sure we could not lever him out. He had a squared off rump, very long rectangular body that was very muscular, broad chest and a fairly long neck supported on strong legs with large rounded paws. He had a medium length head with an excellent square muzzle that was white, a firm chin and high cheek bones. His nose had a shallow curve and a pink nose leather. The ears were large and tall, open at the base and pointed at the tips which had good ear tufts and lighter short ear feathers. The eyes were full and round and were spaced well apart with yellowish green eye colour and a slightly oblique setting and surrounded by pale spectacles. The coat was shorter on the head and neck but shaggy and longer on the underside and flanks and had good tabby markings of black over a very warm copper agouti base colour and was glossy. The bib and underside were white and he had four white socks which were longer on the back feet. Tabby markings were clear on the head and body with an ’M’ on the forehead, head  and body lines and barring on the legs. The tail was very long and well furnished with long flowing fur that tapered towards the tip. A cat with a very regal demeanour.

Ac Maine Coon Adult

1 Campbell’s GR CH DOTCOM LESTER

64 41w     M     5.6.07

A brown tabby and white maine coon boy who is not yet two years old and who is an old favourite of mine now. He is a huge chap who was very destructive in his pen and must have enjoyed bashing it up. He has excellent physique with a very long rectangular body ending with a square rump with a long neck and was very muscular on substantial legs that had large rounded and well tufted paws. Correct head shape of medium length and with large well spaced ears that were open at the base and which were pointed and sitting tall on the skull. They had very good black ear tufts and lighter ear feathering. Eyes were full, round in shape with yellowish eye colour and set slightly oblique and surrounded by paler spectacles. The nose was of uniform width and had a shallow curve ending with a full brick red nose leather. The cheeks were full and he had a fairly square well spotted muzzle with a firm chin. The coat was of a good length on his body with shaggy breeches and tummy with a frontal ruff and was a little shorter over the head and neck and had a shiny glossy texture. The tail was long and flowing and tapered slightly towards the tip and was showing a hint of tabby rings. Classic tabby markings were visible on the body but were a little diffuse but elsewhere was a dark black over a warm shade of copper agouti ground colour. There was an ‘M’ on his forehead, pencilling on the cheeks and lines running over the top of head. The body had a butterfly over the shoulders and oysters on the flanks. The white areas were less than one third and covered the bib, chest and on the underside as a straight white line and were a clean white. All four feet had white socks and all four legs had clear tabby barring above the white areas. A very handsome boy with plenty of presence.

2 McKay’s ADATELO CHANTILLY ROGUE

64 41fs     F     25.7.08

Only just an adult this cream silver tabby girl was a little small in spite of being a female. Body shape was elongated and rectangular with a square shaped rump supported on sturdy, well muscled legs that had very well tufted round paws. Medium size head with tall pointed and tufted ears. The nose was long and of uniform width with a shallow dip at the nasal bridge and with a pink nose leather. The eyes were large and round in shape with a slightly oblique setting and had greenish eye colour with clear tabby spectacles. The cheeks were filling out and the muzzle could have been broader and more square. The chin was firm and the bite was level. The coat was fairly long and full and was a mid shade of cream with a silvery undercoat. Her tail was well furnished and very long reaching well up to the shoulders. The tabby markings on the body were a bit diffuse and not always easy to see but she had an ’M’ on the forehead, and headlines running over the top of head. There was evidence of spine lines and classic tabby lines running down the sides of the body. A well behaved girl with a very pleasant good nature who was well prepared for the show.

3 McKay’s ADETELO SILVER MYSTIQUE

64 41g     F     25.7.08

A classic blue cream tabby maine coon girl who was just barely an adult and who needs time to develop further. She was of a good size for her age and had a medium sized rectangular shaped body with limbs that were in proportion to the body length and was solid with a square shaped rump with strong legs. The head was of medium shape and had good width between the ears which were of large size, tall, lightly tufted and with shorter ear feathers, sitting well on top showing both blue and cream colouring. Full rounded eyes had greenish yellow eye colour and set slightly oblique with lighter spectacles. The muzzle was spotted but lacking a little in width and needed to be more square for facial balance and she had a chin that could have been deeper. The nose was of uniform width and had the correct shallow curve at the nasal bridge with a full blue and cream nose leather and the cheeks were filling out. The coat was of medium length and had a glossy topcoat and was well intermingled with both blue and cream and all four feet were broken with the two colours. The tail was long and feathered and tapered slightly at the tip. Tabby markings were also visible as she had an ‘M’ on her forehead, eye and head lines and a faint tabby lines down the spinal area with a butterfly visible on her shoulders. The legs had barring and had well tufted paws. A well mannered exhibit when handled.

A one and a half year old red tabby and white maine coon boy who had a massive body that was long and very rectangular in shape and ending with a well squared off rump supported on thick tree trunk legs that were very well muscled. His head was of medium size and had good width with well placed ears that were tall, wide at the base  and had very good ear tufts and shorter feathering. He had a fairly square muzzle that showed good tabby spots and long whiskers. The nose had a correct profile and was of uniform width and had a slight dip at the nasal bridge and a full pink nose leather.  The eyes were round and large in size and had a slight oblique setting in the face with yellowish eye colour and showing clear lighter spectacles. Tabby markings were visible and were of a rich shade of red overlying a paler apricot colour. He had red over the top of head and the sides of the face and the face showed both red and white areas below the eyes. There was pencilling on the cheeks and eye and head lines with a clear ‘M’ on his forehead. The cheeks were fairly full and he had a firm chin and a level bite. The bib, chin and underside of the body were a clean white and the back and legs had visible tabby markings while all four feet were white. The coat was of medium length and was of a soft texture and was slightly shorter over the neck. The tail was long and reached well to the shoulders and flowing and tapering towards the tip. A gentle giant when handled.

Seal Point Kitten (MALE) 1 entry
1st BOB Gibson's Kheraf Geraldo 24 Male- 28/11/08
Balanced young man of good type nothing exaggerated, lovely size for his age well developed. Top of head requires a smidge more width for balance slight dip in profile firm chin and level bite, I note that he was teething and I did not penalise him for this or his eyes which looked a bit sore particularly the his left eye which he was favouring when I judged him, the duty vet confirmed that it was teething related. Eyes appeared of good shape and set and of acceptable colour that ideally I would prefer deeper blue. Long strong muscular body well developed with large paws and long limbs, tail just long enough for balance. Good points colour of a warm seal brown, warm cream body colour with excellent coat texture slightly long. A Happy baby of good type. I did deliberate over the BOB as I felt that he had minor problems but on the day and on the whole I felt overall he was just worthy.
Tabby Point Kitten (Female) 1 Entries
1st and BOB W/H
2nd Wallace's Khardagia Tsuki 32/1 27/08/08 Initially I was a bit shocked at this young lady's overall size for seven months she looked like a 4 month old kitten although she was happy and seemed ok In herself, I would have preferred more weight and polish! She was of medium type with a shorter wedge head and narrow top with ears that need more size and flare, Uneven profile with a shallow chin and level bite with sore gums, her eyes were of a deep blue and well set and of a good oriental shape, there was a visible scarab and thumb prints and facial tracings with leg bars and well ringed tail all in a dark and fairly cold seal with a harsh and cool toned coat that gave a rather black and white impression. She had the most endearing temperament and just wanted to be out of her pen! Shorter body of fairly good weight and long dainty limbs with a balanced length tail. Overall she lacked type and style that I would expect for a higher award and her size and condition were a deciding factor in her placing, I did look for her owner after but did not manage to speak to them!
AC Siamese Breed 24 Adult
1st Michie's Gr Ch Highiq Hayaji M (24) 22/03/04 Masculine and Mature boy now in his prime, of excellent type and lovely overall style. I was very impressed by his condition and presentation he has a lovely temperament for a mature stud boy. Longer wedge head balanced with very wide top and large well flared ears, straight profile with level bite, chin fades slightly. Eyes slightly straight set but did not detract too much from the overall impression. Muscular body not overlarge but in proportion with long elegant limbs and dainty paws for a boy long whip tail to balance with slight evidence of treated stud tail. His points were of a darker warm seal brown with very light tonal shading and good contrast visible, short close lying coat of very good texture in most places just a tad harsher on the spine line. A stylish boy in super condition, well shown.
2. Shand's Gr Ch Andalyn Amadeus M (24) 04/06/06 Another very attractive boy of very stylish type looking slightly immature for his age. Longer wedge with very large wide set flared ears that on occasions he could bonnet, straight profile with firm chin an slightly messy but level bite, eyes of the most gorgeous deep blue, excellent expression and of lovely oriental setting, long muscular body needing a bit more weight (difficult at this time of year) he is a working boy so it is not unusual. Long legs with dainty paws and long whipped tail to balance darker warm seal points with some shading but showing sufficient contrast but the overall impression of colour was cooler than I would prefer. His coat was a wee shade dry today. A slightly apprehensive boy but nevertheless very attractive.
3rd Robb's RIvaness Bertie Wooster M (24n) 09/03/08 A Large elegant boy of very good overall type with a lovely expression, wide top of head with large flared ears, he was slightly fine in the muzzle and showed a slight pinch, slightly stepped back chin with level bite. His eyes were of a lovely colour and set well but he could at times hold these wide. Long elegant muscular body long limbs and fine paws with long whipped tail to balance, Darker Blue based caramel points with brownish tones developing well and brownish cast over his coat which was warm in tone. Slightly on his toes today presented beautifully.
4th Frasers Serapis Free Spirit M (24) 17/07/08 Huge well grown youngster ensconced on his very comfortable bed, lovely temperament and a very laid back young man. Rather lacking style at this stage, medium wedge head with slight dip in profile and small depression behind the brow line large ears that he tends to bonnet and ideally requiring more flare and could be larger for overall balance. Firm chin and level bite. His eyes were of an acceptable blue and well set that he could hold slightly open, long well covered muscular body with slight hollow in the rib cage near the sternum (DV confirmed all ok).
5th Wallace's Kazek Khardagia Kalel M (24) 18/11/07 Rangy boy on his toes which was not helped by the fact he was in a double pen! Rather lacking show preparation today. Unbalanced medium wedge head which was showing a pinch with a narrow top and ears that need to be larger and have more width between them. Slight dip in profile, messy bite that was just about level showing some gingivitis and had a shallow chin, his eyes were not typically oriental in shape being smaller and more rounded, needing more depth of colour and expression. Long body that required more weight and condition. His coat was open and quite greasy to the touch and was fairly extensively shaded, in tone with his dark but fairly warm seal points.

AC Siamese Breed 32 Adult
1st Robb's Rivaness Mardi Gras (32/8) F 01/08/08 Shy but quite stylish young miss of very good type, quite wide top with large well set ears slight dip in profile with firm chin and level bite, she at times could hold her eyes full but when she (eventually) relaxed these were of good shape and very good colour long well muscled body long limbs and whipped tail, good sludgy toned Blue based caramel tabby points all well matched with M and thumb prints evident as well as 1.5 facial ribbons and a well ringed tail. All limbs showed well developed leg bars. Good texture coat that was slightly long a sweet young lady who needed time to relax.
2nd Wallace's Khardagia Taiwantu F (32/1) 18/11/07 Very balanced lady of good type shorter medium wedge with good top and large ears well set when she relaxed and stopped trying to head but me! Almost straight profile with firm chin and level bite. Lovely eyes of good shape and good colour long muscular body with very full stomach, obviously had a large breakfast!! Whip tail to balance. Darker seal tabby points all well matched with clear M and facial ribbons thumb prints and bracelets, tail was well ringed. Lovely temperament to this lady.
3rd Michie's Debikat Jose thespecialone M (32/3) 29/07/08 Quite a flashy young man of very nice type but for his age very small and lacking generally in masculinity. Medium wedge with very wide top and very large flared ears that on occasion he could bonnet, almost straight profile with firm chin and slightly scissor over bite, eyes of good shape and set that ideally could be deeper in colour - he had a intermittent Siamese expression long fairly well muscled body that could be much larger and more developed. Long elegant limbs, tail requires an inch for balance, darker warm chocolate tabby points all well developed and matching with M and thumb prints and face ribbons and leg bars, tail well ringed. Lovely texture coat that was slightly long. Lovely temperament to this boy, his main fault was his size for age and also his bite today but for this would have easily won on type alone.
4th Brash's Rivaness Miz Prissy 32/2 10/03/08 Slightly apprehensive young lady of good type medium wedge with muzzle pinch at present large ears needing a smidge more space between and some more flare. Slight dip in profile with firm chin and level bite, slightly full eyes of acceptable colour but I would prefer them to have a deeper tone. Very long elegant body with long elegant limbs and tiny spoon paws. Darker blue tabby points all well matched showing good leg bars and tail rings and she also has thumb prints (not often visible on dilutes). Her paw pads were more mottled akin to a tortie rather than the required bluish pink the standard states. Her coat was a slightly more warm cream than the cold white that is also required for a blue tabby although the available light did not help the blues/lilacs. The coat texture was good if slightly long a sweet lady maturing well but slightly out of sync at present.

AV Oriental/Siamese/Balinese Radius Kitten

2nd Shand's Palmira Yolande F (24c) 27/09/08
On first glance this lady looked very balanced and quite stylish but sadly her eye colour was far too pale for the standard. She also has a couple of minor faults at this stage that overall I felt unable to award a first place. Overall a Very well grown young lady with very bad language! Goodness knows where she learnt such a varied and rude vocabulary. Wide top of head with large well set ears, straight profile firm chin and level bite, pale blue eyes needing far more depth for the breed, they were however of very good set and when relaxed a good shape. Well covered muscular body with long legs and whip tail to balance. Darker lilac points that I would prefer more pink tones to be evident, gorgeous coat texture excellent length. Paw pads again on this lady were more mottled with pink and cream again more akin to a tortie! Wonder if this was more hormonal?
3rd Hewson's Emerpus Dante M (37K) 14/11/08 Very shy boy of medium type with a narrow top and ears ideally could have more size and flare for the length of head which again was far too narrow. Straight profile with firm chin and level bite oriental eyes of acceptable shape and showing two tones of green paler green to rim, long very tense tubular body with long elegant limbs and dainty paws, whip tail to balance. His coat was a main concern it was a very dull cinnamon tone lacking the rich spicy intensity one desires and also across his torso it was very unsound showing a clear tabby pattern (spotted) its was so unsound it almost looked smoked in places! The coat was also slightly long although of a good texture. A sweet boy with a lot of work to do type and coat wise!
4th Khardagia Tsuki (32/1) 27/08/08

AV Oriental/Siamese/Balinese Visitors Kitten
1st French's Palmira Beaujangles (24B) M 05/09/08 Very well grown young man of stylish type with a longer wedge head that could have marginally more depth, very wide top with large flared ears slight dip in profile with firm chin and slightly scissor over bite. Eyes of very good expression a smidge deep set and small but of very good deep colour. Long muscular body of excellent size and length with long legs and large paws. All points in an excellent warm pale chocolate, slightly long coat of excellent warm cream unshaded and lovely texture. Lovely temperament and super presentation.

AV Oriental/Siamese/Balinese Radius Neuter
1st Buchan's Pr Keelokan Kaikai (32/5) MN 13/10/06 Huge Stylish Boy with Medium balanced wedge with large well set flared ears, wide top slight dip in profile level bite and slight stepped back chin, slightly straight set eyes of good shape and of an acceptable colour in the available light, I would prefer this deeper. Huge long slightly plump body with good muscle tone. Long elegant limbs and long whip tail with slight invisible indiscretion at tip. Lovely bright red tabby points all well defined and clear M and ribbons with bracelets and tail rings. Lovely coat texture if a smidge long, overall a lovely handsome boy of very good type in super condition.
2nd Buchan's Gr Pr Keelokan Hagen Daz (35) MN 24/06/05 Quite a stylish boy not overlarge but looking very composed. Well balanced head with Good top and large well placed ears straight profile with firm chin and bite looked level although top incisors missing now. His eyes were expressive and of good shape and colour, long firm body with long elegant limbs and dainty paws. Slightly thick tail of good length. Clean crisp white coat of excellent texture though it was a mite long excellent texture. A handsome boy in lovely condition looking good today.
3rd Fyfe's Betabil Myfairlady (29c) 05/08/08 Timid lady of good type, a bit overawed today and as a result looking a bit wide eyed (these did improve as she relaxed) Longer wedge with adequate top and large ears. Lovely profile very straight and even with a rather shallow chin, bright green eyes that pale towards outer rim long firm body, elegant limbs and tiny spoon paws, long whip tail to balance. Excellent even coloured coat of a dark lilac rather lacking in pink tones in the available light. This was of an excellent texture and shining with health. A shy young lady needing to get used to showing to improve her look.

AC Siamese/Balinese/Oriental Visitors Neuter
1st Spence's Pr Scotmar Classie Lassie (24a) 09/04/07
Quite a stylish young lady of good type shorter broad wedge with wide top and large well set ears straight profile with firm chin and level bite. Lovely eye colour that she holds wide and this did give her a somewhat untypical expression. Long well muscled body, long limbs and dainty paws. Long whip tail to balance. Points of a dark blue that were fairly well matched apart from the tail which was darker. The coat was of a fawn tone and lightly shaded, not the preferred cold glacial tone! Rather grumpy but in lovely condition presented well.
2nd Allison's Trelgandorf Tabaco Lord (29) MN 29/05/06
Huge boy of very good type, Broad medium wedge head with large well set ears and good top. Straight profile with firm chin and level bite. Eyes of a pale yellowish green not the bright green as the standard requires. His eyes were a good shape in the pen, long muscular body; long legs and large feet. Long whip tail to balance. Warm Havana brown coat that was mainly sound apart from the areas he has been plucking as these were still fairly sparse. The paw pads and nose leather lacked the chocolate brown pigment required and were bright pink. He was very nervous today and would have benefited from his nails clipping as he was rather difficult to extract from his pen.

Mrs A Lyall

Many thanks to Gillian & Bruce & the friendly team at Dundee who all work so hard to make this lovely show a success – it was a great pleasure to be with you again. My steward was Lesley Coyne who made a special journey to work with me – as ever, it was a most enjoyable day. Thank you so much, Lesley, for your help & great company.

OPEN CLASSES.
AOV SLH PREMIER MALE.
GPC. ROWLAND’S PR. DOTCOM IMONFIRE 64 44dw MN – 10.10.07.Good looking lad with a sweet temperament. Head shows defined rectangular top with good square muzzle beneath, ears large, tufted & furnished, set a little wide & fractionally low over high broad cheeks, eyes could be rounder & are a little deep set. Gentle curve to the bridge of the nose, level bite & strong deep chin filling in the base of the muzzle. Strong rectangular body of good length, excellent long thick well boned limbs with large tufted paws, long flowing tail. Full mane & shaggy breeches & undercoat with promising flow & length developing on the top coat. Very sweet expression, a big gentle boy.
RES.GPC. DAVIE’S PR. YAHESKA AVALANCHE 64 14c MN – 4.11.06. A big shy boy, very sweet natured. Ears large, tufted & furnished but set wide & he refused to hold them up for us. Good breadth to the top of head, cheeks high & full, rounded pale green eyes. Slight curve to the bridge of the nose with a suggestion of a bump beneath, muzzle fairly square, bite today seems slightly undershot but he was pulling his head back which can affect the assessment, good strong deep chin. Long strong rectangular body ending in balanced flowing tail & very strongly boned long legs with large tufted paws. Superb coat, with lovely flow to the top & deep shaggy undercoat, full mane & breeches. Sadly he was not showing himself to full advantage.

SILVER TABBY SERIES MAINE COON ADULT FEMALE.
1ST.CC W/H. MCKAY’S ADATELO CHANTILLY ROUGE 64 41fs F – 25.7.08. A sweet little soul but not of the size or type required for the breed, my reason for with holding the certificate today. Head rather short & lacking a square muzzle. Ears in proportion to the small head, tufted & furnished, lovely rounded expressive eyes, slight curve to the bridge of the nose, good profile, bite not quite level & chin narrow. Body lean & fairly long, bone fine for the breed & paws dainty & tufted, long tail showing flow. Developing coat showing silver base colour & leg barring but as yet minimal tabby pattern over the body.
BOB.WRIGHT’S CH.COONTASTIC BLUE VELVET 64 41gsw F – 17.3.07.
A real beauty – in spite of the lack of coat today, which leaves her looking rather exposed, she has lovely type & shows great definition. Lovely large ears, tufted & furnished, set high & held erect, defined high cheeks & large rounded eyes with slight oblique set. Gentle curve at bridge to broad nose, level bite, strong chin & square muzzle. Long strong limbs, super long rectangular torso & flowing tail to balance. Well defined pattern, most promising girl who just needs more coat.

AOC MAINE COON ADULT MALE.
1ST & CC. CHAPMAN’S CH. BRILTHOR SHOGUN 64 74d M – 21.7.07. A most impressive lad, really balanced & masculine. Of excellent size with strong bone & a lovely full coat with lavish mane & shaggy breeches, beautifully presented. Tufted & furnished ears are a little wide set & could be larger, eyes well rounded with slight oblique set, orange in colour, over broad high cheeks, slight concave curve to bridge of the nose, excellent square muzzle, strong chin & level bite. Long thick limbs with huge tufted paws, shoulders broad & body really rectangular in shape with a square rump & long flowing tail. A pleasure to handle, he purred all the time we were judging him.
2ND.CASEY’S KASSARO INDIANSCOUT 64 16 M – 8.5.07. A handsome boy who looked rather exposed to day because he was short on coat. Ears tufted & well furnished, rather low set & a little small, beautiful large rounded eyes with slight oblique set, gentle curve to the profile, level bite, strong deep chin & square muzzle. Well boned with huge tufted feet, long rectangular body with square rump & long profusely furnished tail.
3RD.PAYNE’S DRAGONMAINE STRONG FLAME 64 41d M – 16.5.08. A timid lad but very sweet natured. Ears of good size, tufted & furnished, eyes rounded but set rather too oblique & cheeks high. Nose shows a very distinct concave curve & is then very broad with no lateral definition, bite level, muzzle square & chin could do with a little more depth. Very well grown with strongly boned limbs, large tufted paws, long body & lovely long flowing tail. Developing coat with a lovely pattern, a nice boy at a transitional stage of development & needs a little more time.

AOC MAINE COON ADULT FEMALE.
1ST, CC & BOB. DELANEY’S JULESCOON BLUEBELLE 64 41g F – 21.7.07.A most attractive girl of lovely type who positively blossomed when we got her out of her pen. Best ears of the day – large, wide at base, set high & held erect & tufted & furnished. Eyes large & rounded, set slightly oblique & well apart, beautiful profile with gentle curve at the bridge & good lateral definition, bite level, muzzle square & chin deep & strong. Very feminine but with strongly boned long legs, large tufted paws, rectangular body & tail of balanced length with profuse & flowing fur. Full coat with flow to the substantial top coat, full frontal ruff & shaggy breeches. Very pretty blue & beige coat with the tabby pattern fairly well defined & cream well mingled throughout.
2ND.PAYNE’S DRAGONMAINE BATTLEHEART 64 41e F – 21.5.08. A really beautiful girl of lovely type, balanced & stylish but let down by poor preparation – her profuse coat which had a stunning pattern was dull & felt rather greasy. Lovely head with excellent large ears, set an ears breadth apart on top of broad head, held erect with long tufts & well furnished, broad high cheeks & lovely large rounded eyes with slight oblique aperture. Slight concave curve to beautiful profile, level bite, strong chin & square muzzle. Very well grown, strongly boned, body rectangular & tail extravagantly furnished & of balanced length. Full mane, shaggy breeches & a lovely temperament.
3RD.MACKAY’S ADATELO SILVER MYSTIQUE 64 41g F – 25.7.08. A sweet little cat, just coming into call. Even given her age of only just 9 months, I felt she was too small & finely boned for the breed. Head is rather wedge shaped, ears too small & low set, eyes are lovely, nicely rounded & with slight oblique aperture, nice profile, bite level but muzzle very short & chin fine. Body lithe, limbs slim & feet of moderate size, well tufted, tail to balance. Coat very prettily marked but feeling rather harsh.

A beautiful girl with a lovely short and wide wedge which tapers to a blunt muzzle.   The top of her head has slight rounding and her ears are of desired shape and size, set well apart.   There is gentle rounding to the brow with a distinct break to a straight nose, which ends in a firm and level chin.   Her yellow eyes are set well apart, are large and lustrous with a lovely expression.   Her body is medium sized and weighty, feels hard and muscular with rounding to chest and a straight back.   Legs are slender, paws are neat and oval and her straight tail is of medium thickness and tapers to end.   A lovely glossy coat, which is short, fine and lies close, is a pale dove-grey with pinkish cast, although slightly darker on her back.   She has a lovely, gentle nature and a credit to her owner.

1CC  Barrett’s  ROSSIKHAN URSA MAJOR  (27c)  M  11/06/08

Although the top of head is slightly flat, he has well-shaped ears of good size with forward tilt and they are set well apart.   The short wedge tapers to a blunt muzzle, and profile shows a slightly rounded brow, a very good break to his straight nose and good depth to a firm, level chin.   Large and yellow, well-shaped eyes are set well apart.   His body feels hard and muscular, is of good weight with muscular feel, with slender legs in proportion as are his paws, which are neat and oval in shape.   Tail is long, medium thick with rounded tip.   His coat is short and fine in texture, lies close to body with nice glossy appearance, a pleasant dove-grey lacking a pink cast.

1CC & BOB  Coulter’s  JACOU UNIQUE ULTRAVIOLET  (27j)  F  13.02.08

What a very striking girl – I could not fault her.
Slightly rounded top of head with very well shaped ears of good size and set well apart.   Lovely short wedge which is wide at the cheeks and tapers to a blunt muzzle.   Her profile shows a slight rounding to the brow with very good depth to the jaw, a distinct break to straight nose and good depth to the chin, which is firm and level.   She has beautiful expression to her large and lustrous, yellow eyes which are set well apart.   Her medium sized body has a rounded chest and straight back, feeling hard and muscular, her slender legs and oval paws in proportion to her body, and her tail, although slightly thick, is long and tapers to a rounded tip.   Her coat is short, fine and close lying - of good texture and glossy – a very attractive lilac with creamy shading.

2nd  Barrett’s  PULSARS MIGNONNE MARBRE  (27j)  F  26.03.07

A slightly rounded top of head and ears of good shape and size are set well apart.   Her short wedge is wide at the cheek bones and tapers to a blunt muzzle.   She has slight rounding to her brow and a good break to her straight nose, with the tip level and good depth to chin.   Her eyes, although having a slightly greenish tinge, are large and very well shaped – with good slant to top and rounded lower lid.   Good weight to medium sized body and slender legs, oval paws and long, well-shaped tail in proportion.   Her coat is short and close lying – a rather dark toned lilac with shades of cream.

3rd  Ferguson’s  TEAROHA PRETTY PIXIE  (27h)  F  01.08.08

Top of head shows a slight rounding and well shaped ears with correct forward tilt, a little large at present, which are set well apart.   Her profile shows slight rounding to the brow and good depth between top of head and jaw.   A very good break to her straight nose which ends in a firm and deep chin, which is fairly level.   Her beautiful eyes, which are yellow (with a slightly greenish rim?) are expressive, large and lustrous and set well apart.   A weighty, muscular body with good muscle tone, slender legs, neat oval paws and a long, well-shaped tail, are in proportion and balance her well.   Her beautiful coat is short and glossy – a warm chocolate with shades of red.   I look forward to seeing how she progresses.

1st  Banks’  JUNGLEFIRE TOWANREEF STORM  (76 30)  M  20.04.08

A big strapping boy with lovely nature.   His wedge has rounded contours and a gentle curve to the bridge of his broad nose, a full muzzle shows a strong, wide chin, and his medium sized ears are well shaped and set.   The hazel eyes are large, with a slight slant.   His body is muscular with proportionate legs, paws and tail and his coat is medium in length, dense and soft with ‘M’ on forehead, spectacles and mascara lines on face and ‘thumb prints’ apparent on back of ears.   The distinct rosettes of various shapes and sizes on a golden ground on the body have an attractive gold dusting.

2nd  Hickling’s  BRUCKLAY GRAY OWL  (80l 45a)  M  05.04.08

A very attractive boy with well set ears and good shape to the contours of his head.   His eyes are expressive and of good shape and size.   The well ruffled coat has good ticking to his tabby markings.

1st  Minto’s  PEEDIEPURRS TANISHA (77)  F  12.11.07

A lovely girl with rounded skull, narrowing to her whisker break, having a short and broad muzzle, which ends with a blunt nose.   The large ears are wide at the base and well cupped.   She has lovely large hazel eyes, wide open with correct slant and dark outline.   Her body is well muscled and medium in size with proportionate legs and oval feet.   Tail is good length with blunt tip.   Her coat is short and close lying, with a soft and warm effect, sepia brown ticking with lighter shading.   What a gentle nature she has, a joy to handle.

2nd  Forbes’  ACCLAIM WEESAMS TIYE  (78 30s)  F  04.02.08

Her wedge is slightly rounded and of medium length but ends in a slightly receding chin.   Her ears are of medium size, broad at the base and cupped forward, but held slightly high.   The profile shows a gentle contour with a slight rise to the nose which is even in length overall, but showing slight tarnishing.   Eyes are of pale gooseberry green, well shaped and set straight beneath a level brow and with a slight slant to the lower lid.   Her body is medium in length, feeling hard and muscular with slender legs and neat, rounded feet and her tail is long and balances well.   The coat is short and close-lying, dense in texture and showing ticking against a lovely silver ground.   Markings on her head show a clear scarab on top, ‘M’ and frown marks on her forehead, and mascara lines on her cheeks which meet beneath her ears.   Her leg markings show small spots and bars, her chest has no spots and one broken necklace, but on her body the spots are well defined and random in size, although paler on her tummy and her spine has elongated spots, which merge together and end in a dark tip to her tail.   A girl with a sweet nature.

1st  Dickson’s  ADSETSH KITTENKAMUN  (78 30s)  M  04/03/07

This boy was very easy to judge as he has a lovely, gentle nature.   His wedge is slightly rounded, of medium length and full cheeked.   The profile shows a gently rounded contour, a slight rise to his nose, which is uniform in length and flows to his neck, although tarnishing is apparent at the nose tip.   His muzzle is gently rounded and the chin is firm and level.   The ears, although slightly small, are set well apart, are broad at the base with nice flare and forward cupped.   His eyes are a pale gooseberry green, set straight beneath a level brow, with slight upward slant to lower lid giving correct almond-shape.   The body is well-muscled, of medium size and with muscular neck – his legs and paws are in proportion and his tail, which is of medium length, is thick and tapering, and balances well.    Coat is of medium length and close-lying, with good sheen, dense in texture and has good ticking to silver ground.   His paler facial markings show characteristic ‘M’ and frown marks, with ‘scarab’ design on top extending between his ears and back of neck, with typical mascara lines on his  cheeks which meet beneath his ears.   His chest has a broken necklace with some spots, shoulder markings are both spots and stripes, and his body markings show distinct variably sized and shaped spots, which are paler underneath.   The legs are
barred with tiny spots and his spine is clearly marked with longer spots merging together to end at his tail, which is banded and has a dark tip.

AV SH RADIUS NEUTER

1st  Forbes’  WEESAMS SNOFRU  (78 36)  FN  11/02/08

This girl was stunning.   Her head shows a slightly rounded wedge of medium length, the profile has a gentle contour, rising gently from the bridge of her nose to her forehead and flows back into her arched neck.   Her uniformly shaped nose ends in a gently rounded muzzle with a firm chin and level bite.   Her ears are medium in size, broad at base, show a slight flare and have a pointed tip with good space between.   Large eyes of gooseberry green have an upward slant to lower lid and are set straight under a level brow.   She has a good body for elegance and weight, is well balanced with slender legs and neat paws.   The tail is of good shape and length, balancing well.   The coat is short and lies close, has desired sheen with silk-like feel.   Her markings are plainly visible against the ground colour with a pale silver undercoat which is tipped with black.   Her head shows a barred forehead with the epitome of an “M” and frown marks, giving the wonderful “worried” look, also noticeable is the scarab design with extending lines between the ears and down her neck.   Barred cheeks and ‘mascara’ lines are obvious and the body has spots of variable shape and size distinctly contrasted against the paler ground colour.   Broken necklaces seen on chest with shoulder stripes and spots, also spinal line has elongated spots merging into dorsal line to tip of black tail.
This girl was “all of a piece” with super temperament – I loved her.

2nd  Maitland’s  CLOUDBORN LARKRISE  (33a 31dt)  FN  01/04/08

Short and broad wedge with high cheek bones, strong muzzle and firm chin, whisker break and good curve to skull, with short nose and stop.   Large ears, set wide, and eyes are set well and good shape.   Good weight to body and coat nicely waved, a rich red with tabby markings.

SIAMESE/BALINESE IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE
1 IGP  MATHER’S  GR PR STATIONARY SCARLETSHADOW  (32s) MN  7/7/05 A mature and elegant red chap with a long wedge and deep firm chin line, ears are well set could ideally be a tad larger, lovely eyes for shape, set and depth of colour, straight profile, small pinch , level bite. Long neck and body – the tail rather short to balance but is a good whip. Elegant length of leg and neat paws. Points of a pleasing bright tone – stockings paler, clear white coat with some tonal shading evident to hips and spine, coat rather long but of excellent texture. Handled really well.

ORIENTAL BI-COLOUR ADULT INTERMEDIATE
W/COL  to MICHIE’S  FISEPO BLUE SOLEIL  F  12/7/08  Unfortunately this young lady was entered as 48 40 g but she is clearly 48 40n and today as she did not conform to the colour SOP I had no option but to wrong colour. I was pleased to have the chance to discuss her with her Owner later who did concur.
Medium wedge with large ears that were open to base but she does tend to bonnet them a little, eyes pale blue in tone with a slightly paler outer rim, held a touch full until relaxed, small bump on nose in profile, chin rounds slightly but bite ok, firm well developed body in line with age, whip tail. She had clean bright white evident for over a third as required, with her mask showing white to right side, clear line of white through her undercarriage, points show colour of a dark brownish grey with saddle patches to back well matched, the apricot breaks  are really warm and ‘glowing’ in tone. Coat of lovely texture and of a good length.

ORIENTAL LILAC NEUTER
1 PC and BOB FYFE’S  BETABIL MYFAIRLADY  FN 5/8/08 Nicely balanced young lady. Short wedge with large ears that need to be a little more open to the base and a little more width between ideally. Eyes of basic good shape – a little full – brilliant green, firm profile , chin a little shallow but bite level, long neck and body, length of tail and elegant legs with neat paws. Super coat with a lovely pink tone evident and sleek and close lying – almost sound.

ORIENTAL RED NEUTER
1 PC and BOB COX’S  GRPR KHERAF RED HOTSPOT   MN 26/5/06 Large fellow of very good overall type and rich red colour, long wedge with small pinch, ears of good size but need to be more open to balance the lines, oriental eyes of good depth of green, rise over brow in profile, firm chin and bite, long substantial body and length of whip tail, stands tall. Rich red – heavy pattern showing but this is to the surface only, super close texture – fits him like a glove. Congratulations on BOV Oriental.

SEAL POINT ADULT MALE
1 (CC w/h) FRASER’S  SERAPIS FREESPIRIT 17/7/08 Well grown youngster but with a few ‘niggles and problems ’ today. Medium wedge with quite a pronounced pinch, ears of good size but set close and held high, small depression evident to skull with a dip and bump to profile eyes of good depth of colour, a touch full in shape until fully relaxed, long well grown body line – funny little ‘indentation’ at end of where xiphy sternum should be, the DV did not really know what had caused it. Tail is a good whip but needs another inch or two. Seal brown points  - need a touch more warmth ideally but it may as yet be hormonal as his coat displayed a good warm tone and gave excellent contrast. Coat was a fraction long but lovely texture.
2 WALLACE’S  KAZET  KAHRDAGIA  KALEL 18/11/07 I was concerned by the overall condition of this lad – his spine was prominent  and he was lacking weight added to that he was very uptight so we were only able to give him a brief assessment. Medium wedge with sharp muzzle line lacking any depth to chin – could not check bite to closely but it appeared ok – eyes of a good shape but the haws up and lack depth of colour, short lightweight body, whip tail with greasy base, dark seal brown points, heavily shaded, coat open and rather dry to the feel.
BOB MICHIE’S  GR CH HIGHIQ HAYA JI  22/3/04 My first meeting with this lad– wonderful! Just my cup of tea and his condition and temperament both first class and a credit to his Owner – hard work to keep a working boy of this age looking top nick. Not overly large but compact and muscular – no doubting he is a male. Lovely strong wedge with wide set open based ear, oriental deep blue eyes, firm profile, lacking a little in the chin dept!, few missing teeth now, strong hard body, whip tail – shows signs of treated stud tail, ideally needs another inch, fine legs. Fantastic seal brown warm points and wonderful contrasting coat  - this close and of excellent texture.
He was my choice later in the day for Best Adult and then BOV.The pleasure was all mine!
Also considered SHAND’S  GRCH ANDALYN AMADEUS 4/6/06  Another stylish lad who was unlucky today. Strong wedge  - minimal pinch, ears of good size and set without the exaggeration of Haya Ji  (and which I love!) slightly squarer to muzzle which throws the triangular effect slightly, Oriental eyes of good depth and brilliant tone, almost straight profile, chin levels up but could have a bit more depth, level bite, would like a little more neck to him, strong long muscular body, long fine whip. Dark seal points – reasonable warmth to them, some tonal shading. Well presented.

CHOCOLATE POINT ADULT
1 CC and BOB SHAND’S  CH PALMIRA SULAWEISI  F 15/2/08 Loved this choc lady – elegant and typey and a good colour to boot! Long wedge with firm chin line, ears large and wide set, eyes set straight unfortunately – her only minus point! – and slightly small -, very good depth of colour to them, level bite, elegant neckline she uses to her advantage and long substantial body with fine whip tail with tiny excrescence to tip  and slender long legs. Points warm and medium toned chocolate – quite well matched as well, some brindling around eyes to mask. Clear to body giving excellent contrast, coat a touch dry to the feel.

CHOCOLATE POINT KITTEN
1 BOB FRENCH’S  PALMIRA BEAUJANGLES  M  5/9/08  Another lovely chocolate point – this time a well grown and developed male kitten with long wedge , large ears well set with good width between , would just like them to be a little more open to the base to ‘hold’ the set, eyes are a fraction straight in set but of very good depth of colour and expression, roman profile, chin shallow but bite level, long neck and body with long fine whip and elegant lengthy legs. Points warm and matched – good to see them and very pale ivory warm coat. Coat a fraction dry and open. My choice for Best Siamese Kitten – congratulations.

TABBY POINT SIAMESE  NEUTER
BOB BUCHAN’S  PR KEELOKAN KAIKAI  (32/5) 13/10/06 Quite a flashy red tabby chap. Medium wedge with large open based ears set with good width between, oriental eyes of good depth of blue, minimal pinch, tiny dip to profile, chin a mite shallow, long firm body with whip tail that has a tiny end ‘knobble’, fine legs. Points brilliant red/gold, single ribbons, no thumbprints, M , well etched leg bracelets and tail rings with pale tip as normal. Coat short and fits like a glove. My choice for Best Siamese Neuter.

AC ORIENTAL ADULT NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR
1 TOSUN’S  SAITAN MISS TEASE  (43b) F 28/4/08  Dainty little choc shaded miss at present. Short wedge with quite a sharp muzzle and pinch evident, ears of reasonable size but set close, eyes full in shape and rather too yellow toned, small dip to profile, chin and bite ok,Fine slightly short as yet body, whip tail and dainty legs. Heavy shading of dark warm brown  for about ¾ of the hair shaft with tabby markings quite heavily defined to the surface and clear tail rings, ground is rather cold in tone. Coat close and of good texture.

2 MICHIE’S  DEBIKAT JOSETHESPECIALONE  (32/3) M 1/10/07  A typey choc tabby but he is very effeminate at present unfortunately at almost 18 months of age. Short wedge with no pinch, wide based ears set with good width between, oriental eyes of good depth of colour, small rise over brow in profile to otherwise straight profile, good chin and bite, fine short body, whip tail needs another inch.Points dark warm seal brown – facial tracings well etched but the ticked base unfortunately has blurred the bracelets and tail rings somewhat, his body colour was warm and gave good contrast.Coat a little long and open.

2 SHAND’S  PALMIRA YOLANDE (24c) F 27/9/08  Loved the type, size and style of this lilac miss but unfortunately her eyes are a washed out blue tone and this Class is so prestigious I felt duty bound to withhold. Strong almost masculine wedge with deep firm chinline and level bite, large ears beautifully set, rise over brow in profile, eyes are of a good shape and set, strong well nourished body – good feel to her – and fine whip. Points show a good pinky .grey tone and her coat magnolia and unshaded.Interestingly her pads show a mottled effect where she has lost some pigmentation.
3 GIBSON’S  KHERAF GERALDO (24) M 28/11/08 Well grown seal lad of good type.Medium wedge with pronounced pinch and favouring his right eye, however he is teething quite badly with a double set of canines evident poor chap which was probably the cause, eyes of a reasonable depth of colour, ears large but set fractionally close and held touch high , small dip to profile, good chin and bite, firm well nourished body, long fine whip , quite sturdy legs and paws. Points slightly cold and too black in tone and his coat needs some warmth to it.

1st DEMBSKI’S CH & PR BAUDRONS GANDALF (12a2) MN 05.05.2001
A massive blue and white boy of eight years. Broad top of head with well rounded skull. Neat ears set wide and low with excellent furnishings. Large round deep orange eyes. Snub nose with reasonable break and good sized pink leather. Full round cheeks, wide muzzle. Undershot bite and very strong chin. A large boy with very substantial bone. Heavy in weight and masculine in appearance. Full flowing soft coat expertly presented. Large white chevron to face, blue chin and full white collar. Fifty percent colour to white on his body. One spot of colour to front right leg. His blue is pastel in tone and sound to the roots. His white sparkles. Finished with the smallest blue tail that is lightly furnished. A lovely natured but quiet boy. 2nd STARK’S CH DUSHENKA TASHABELLA (16a) 17.12.2005 A very talkative Russian Blue lady of almost three and a half years. Beautiful expressive green eyes. Unfortunately very reluctant to leave her pen.
CLASS 544 – AC PERSIAN JUNIOR ADULT MALE
1st MORRIS’S COUNTRYGIRL GRAPEVINE (4) M 16.04.2008
A show stopping red boy of thirteen months with beautifully balanced Persian type. Very broad top of head with smooth rounded skull showing excellent width between small low set ears with very long furnishings. Bold round expressive orange eyes. Short nose with deep break and fully formed pink leather. Full round cheeks and ample width to muzzle. Scissor bite and good chin to balance. Heavy and cobby with broad chest and standing very low on short thick legs with fully tufted feet. Short extremely well furnished tail that is almost as wide as his body. When he stands on the table his feet are only just visible as his coat is extremely long and flowing. Full and soft in texture it has been expertly prepared with every hair separated. He is off a rich and vibrant red colour that is mostly sound showing just a little ghost barring. Very full ruff framing his face and deep frill to chest. Slightly paler red underbelly and underneath tail. He has the most wondrous temperament and is a real charmer. My nomination for B.I.S. Persian Adult which he so deservedly won and went on to become B.O.V Persian. A credit to both his breeder and his owners.
2nd MALCOLMSON’S HADFIELDS TEXUS HOLDUM (70 8) M 08.04.2008
A brown mackerel tabby Exotic of thirteen months. Very smooth well rounded head with good width between medium sized round tipped ears of good set. Round copper eyes of good size and shape. Short nose with deep break and medium sized brick leather. Full cheeks, good width to muzzle. Perfect level bite. A little more depth to chin required for perfection. Standing low and cobby on strong short legs and of a very good weight. Excellent plush dense coat standing well away from his body. Dense black markings on a very warm brown ground colour. Clear ‘M’ to forehead, pencilling from eyes and to cheeks. Three necklaces to chest, one broken. Numerous narrow lines running from what appears to be, at the moment, a broken spine line. Spots to tummy. Thick short fully ringed tail. A lovely young boy who is developing very well into adulthood.
3rd STEWART’S IMP GR CH LAZANE ON CLOUD NINE (2a) M 08.06.2007
An orange eyed white boy of almost two years. Smooth well rounded skull with good width to top. Neat ears set well and fully furnished with long featherings. Bold round orange eyes that he does not use to the best of his advantage. Short nose, deep break, with fully formed leather with wide open nostrils. Ample cheeks and wide muzzle. Level bite but missing many top incisors. Good depth to chin. Very well balanced and masculine boy. Glacial white coat that sparkles and shows excellent show presentation. The coat is thick but soft in texture very full and standing away from his body like a fluffy white cloud. Today, unfortunately, he shows yellow staining between his legs. He is cobby and heavy standing low on short thick legs with a short fully furnished tail to balance. He is a beautiful boy with an excellent gentle temper.
4th SATTAR’S SHEERBLISS SHEER KHAN (70 9) M 30.05.2008
A very nice red tabby Exotic boy of eleven months. Lovely top of head with neat well rounded ears set wide and low. Slight bump to forehead at present. Large round copper eyes with exquisite expression. Very short nose with deep break and excellent size leather and nostrils. Good width to cheeks with muzzle developing, level bite and deep chin to balance. Coat of a lovely soft and springy texture but at the moment just a fraction long to give the required dense plush feel. Very well presented and prepared. Classic tabby of deep rich red showing clear ’M’ to forehead, lines running from outer edge of eyes and four unbroken chains to neck and chest. Three lines over the top of his head leading to a clear butterfly. Clear single spine line at present, oysters to flanks and fully ringed medium length tail. He is young in appearance but a nice size and shape with short legs and good boning. An adorable natured boy quite happy to just sit on the table and watch me write. Unfortunate today to find himself in such a large class of mature males.
CLASS 545 – AC PERSIAN JUNIOR ADULT FEMALE
1st CRAIG & BELL’S KATYKAYE SPECIAL REQUEST (70 12a8t) F 10.04.2008
Blue tortie and white tabby Exotic girl of almost thirteen months. A small and very compact young lady of extremely heavy weight, pleasantly plump body with short thick legs and medium size bone. Smooth well rounded skull and forehead with good width between small round tipped ears set low. Excellent bold round eyes of deep copper colouring. Very short broad nose with good break. Her pink and blue leather is fully formed but a little small in size with wide open nostrils. Fat cheeks with fair width to muzzle and scissor bite. Firm chin that could be a little stronger. Dense plush stand away coat of lovely texture and excellent preparation. Her head shows both blue and cream, blue to right side and ear, cream to left side and ear. White chin and patch dividing the colour to her forehead. Broken ’M’ due to colour distribution, clear pencilling from eyes and spotted whisker pads. Predominantly sparkling white with cream spot to shoulders showing tabby lines and blue patch to body with faint tabby markings. All legs showing three colours. Short cream and blue tail showing clear tabby rings. Her blue is medium in colour and the cream of a pastel shade. Both are sound to the roots. A lovely temperament and an adorable girl.
2nd McCLUSKEY’S JENZJEWELS ZURI (8e) F 16.05.2008
Tortie tabby female of eleven months with a rich vibrant coat and beautiful expression. Medium top to head with larger sized ears, a little open at base and still to settle but with lovely long furnishings. Very bold round copper eyes. Short nose with deep break and fully formed brick leather. Good width to cheeks and muzzle with a level bite and nice depth of cream chin to balance. Medium sized girl who is quite cobby with excellent bone and good body weight. Her top coat is very warm rich and vibrant, jet black and showing all shades of red well distributed. All feet broken. Today her coat is soft and silky to touch but lying a little flat and needing more undercoat to lift it. Lovely tabby face with thumbprints to ears, clear ‘M’ to forehead, pencilling from eyes and to cheeks. Tramlines over the top of her head leading to a clear spineline. She appears to be a classic tabby but has no clearly discernable butterfly to her shoulders and questionable oysters to her flanks but her coat is very well patched making it harder to perceive a pattern. Body showing a little coldness to roots. Two necklaces to chest, clear bars to legs and fully furnished ringed tail. Black to hocks. A placid and easy going girl who shows great promise.
3rd HAMILTON’S LEMASH CLEMENTINE (12a5) F 23.07.2008
A red and white bi-colour female of just over nine months. She is very well grown for her age with excellent weight and bone structure. Smooth round skull with good width to top of head and small ears set wide and low with full furnishings. She has deep copper eyes that appear slightly almond in shape but she was very reluctant to open them. Short nose with deep break and fully formed pink leather with wide open nostrils. Full cheeks with level bite and muzzle developing. Firm chin. Excellent preparation to a full, soft and flowing coat. Red to ears head and chin with a white moustache and full blaze running over her head. Fully coloured red tail and red spots to all legs. Her red is rich in colour and sound, her white is pristine. She has an excellent temperament and paddled her paws all the time she was out of the pen. Today her eyes were rather dirty and she refused to open them hence the reason for her placing.
CLASS 546 AC PERSIAN SENIOR ADULT
1st CRAIG & BELL’S GR CH VITA-NOVA’S DREAMER (INT CH) (70 30s) M 20.05.2005
Black silver spotted tabby Exotic boy of almost four years. Large masculine head with broad smooth well rounded top and small ears set wide and low. Expressive round deep copper eyes when you can persuade him to open them! Short broad nose with deep break and pale brick leather which, although is smaller in size, has large open nostrils. Ample cheeks. Bite within the realms of acceptable. Good width to muzzle, which is a little tarnished, and strong chin. His coat is soft in texture and well presented but he has shed most of it and without an undercoat to lift his pattern appears to have linked spots to both shoulders. Good density of black on silver ground colour. Head showing clear tabby pattern with ‘M’ to forehead, pencilling to cheeks and lines from eyes. Barring to legs and fully ringed tail which has, unfortunately, a fixed deviation near its end. Today he stands quite high on leg, appearing to have a longer length well muscled body. Excellent temperament and easy to handle.
CLASS 565 AC PERSIAN KITTEN (4-6 MONTHS)

Her body colours are deep rich red and sound jet black with sparkling white. She has just a few stray white hairs to the black on her rump. An adorable naughty tortie.
2nd PIASECKI’S PURRSRUS TE AMO (3) F 23.12.2008
A very young blue Persian female of just four and half months old. Well rounded skull with good width to top of head. Small ears that are extremely well furnished and positioned well into the contours of her head, but yet to settle. Bold round eyes of mid orange colour. Very short nose with deep break and fair sized leather and nostrils. Scissor bite. Full cheeks with good width to muzzle and depth to chin. A nicely balanced kitten with excellent bone confirmation and weight. Very square and boxy with tiny well furnished tail. Short legs with nicely rounded and fully tufted paws. She has a soft coat that is profuse and full but a little woolly to the roots and needing more attention to preparation. She is of a medium blue colour showing a paler temperature mark half way down the hair shaft and new darker coat growth to the roots. Today she shows a few stray white hairs to her rump and tail and is noticeably stained on her face and front legs. A very bouncy kitten with an extrovert temperament who kept the crowds entertained.
CLASS 566 AC PERSIAN KITTEN (OVER 6 MONTHS)
1st CAMPBELL’S DEDANNAN TINY TREASURE (70 8) F 19.10.2008
What a little cutie but oh so small. Brown classic tabby Exotic girl who looks far younger than her six months. Small but perfectly formed she is very cobby and boxy, of good weight for her size and standing on well boned thick short legs. Smooth rounded skull with a good top of head and the smallest of ears set wide and low. Round eyes of the darkest muddy hue that should be an excellent colour as she matures. Short nose with deep break and acceptable sized leather. Apple cheeks and broad muzzle. Level bite but missing her top right canine. Her head shows excellent balance for one so young. Thick plush coat that stands well away from her body, scattered with a few longer ‘gooseberry’ hairs often seen on a younger kitten. Beautiful warm brown base coat with very clear dense black markings. ‘M’ to forehead, unbroken stripes from eyes and clear narrow lines to cheeks. Three necklaces to neck and chest. Thumbprints to ears and clear classic tabby pattern to her body with a beautiful butterfly over her shoulders. Fully ringed short tail and clear bars to legs. A lovely well rounded spotty tummy. A dear little poppet to handle.
2nd CAMPBELL’S DEDANNAN CHASING RAINBOWS (70 1) M 19.10.2008
Black Exotic litter brother to the brown tabby girl and of a much larger size. A nice solid boy of very good weight with excellent bone, who creates a very good first impression. Cobby body supported by short thick legs and balanced with a medium length nicely rounded tail. Well prepared thick plush coat which is full of life and standing well away from his body. A very good sound glossy jet black colour and free from stray white hairs. Despite his size his breadth of head is a little narrower than his sisters’ with medium sized ears set low but not as wide. Slightly bumpy skull at present. Bold round copper eyes. Snub nose with fair depth to break and fully formed black leather with wide open nostrils. Good breadth to cheeks but requiring more width to muzzle for balance. Level bite with very misplaced top left canine. Good depth to firm chin. A super looking boy with outgoing temperament.

1st CARMICHAEL’S PR JUSCARI EMLYN (54) MN
A male golden of just over three and a half years old. Broad well rounded top of head with good width between small well set and fully furnished ears. Bold green eyes of good colour intensity, that could be rounder for perfection, outlined in seal. Broad wide nose with reasonable depth to break and fully formed pale brick leather and dark seal outline. Good width to muzzle and full cheeks with a level bite and fair depth to chin. Excellent size and weight with good bone confirmation. Standing quite low on thick legs with medium length body and fully furnished wide tail in proportion. Soft, long and flowing coat that lies a little flat today as he lacks undercoat to lift it. His seal tipping is generally evenly distributed, being just a little heavier to his rump and top of tail where it extends approximately one third of the hair shaft. Seal to hocks and all four feet. Very pale apricot chin with light apricot ruff, chest and underbelly. A well mannered young man who was easy to handle.
