S.C.S.B.E.

The very first back to back Siamese show and it ran smoothly and efficiently thanks to Show managers Lillian (SPSCC)  & Harry (SCSBE) and their assistants Yvonne & Joan, my thanks for the judging invitation.  I am sure the exhibitors appreciated the opportunity to win two certificates in one day. Thanks also goes to my excellent steward Barbie James for her very good company.

OPEN CLASSES

Grand Champion Siamese/Balinese Male
GD CC – Duncan’s CH MALIKASIAM EMIR HARITH (24b) 11/03/05. A big strong male of very good type. Masculine head with wide top line and large wide based ears very well set. Oriental eye shape and set with typical expression and good depth of blue colour. Quite a dip to profile centre nose, chin clips away and could be deeper, bite untidy but just about level. Very good substance and muscle tone to long masculine body, long elegant limbs, tail needs a touch to balance. Chocolate points rather dark but reasonably warm in tone, better on the limbs. Good length and texture to warm ivory coat lightly shaded to tone.  Good tempered and easy to handle. I must confess to hesitating somewhat over the awarding of the certificate because of his colour and chin, but decided that he was stylish enough to justify it. Excellently presented.

Grand Champion Siamese/Balinese Female
GD CC – Green’s CH MAPU FIRENZE (24n) 10/04/07. A dainty young queen of very good type, not the largest of queens but everything was in proportion. Neat and even medium wedge with good top of head and large ears set to balance. Eyes very oriental in shape and set with mid blue colour. Almost straight profile and good chin, bite scissored over.  Long dainty body that was surprisingly weighty for her size, dainty limbs and neat paws, well tapered tail needs an inch to balance.  Well matched lilac-based caramel points showing some dinginess of tone. Off white coat with excellent contrast, length and texture very good. Slightly tense but handled well. Beautifully presented.

Seal Point Siamese Kitten Male
1st & BOB – Knowlson’s DRESTOTHRIL DIOR BY DESIGN 26/09/08. A promising little boy very well grown. Stylish head with lovely width between large flared ears that were excellently set. Very good eye shape and set with slightly worried expression, colour excellent, deep brilliant blue.  Tiny growth dips to brow and nose as yet, chin firm and bite level.  Solid little body of good length with long limbs and long whip tail to balance. Dense seal points with some warmth of tone evident. Creamy coat with the lightest of shading over the spine and very good length and texture for a baby. Very sweet and friendly, beautifully presented.

Tortie Point Siamese Neuter Female
PC & BOB – Dinsdale’s GD CH & PR APPLEJACK BLUEFENIX (32b2) 24/01/04. Mature lady of very good type.  Medium length wedge with good top line and large ears very well set.  Oriental eye shape and set with  very good depth of blue colour. Almost straight profile, good chin and bite, fairly pronounced pinch to the muzzle today and making it look slightly square.  Comfortably covered body of good length, elegant limbs, tapered tail needs length to balance and has a small defect at the tip. Darker blue tortie points colour, well mingled with mainly pale cream. Super texture to coat, beautifully sleek and close, heavily shaded  but a little contrast still seen.  Temper rather uncertain – typical naughty tortie, if looks could kill…     Excellently presented.

2nd – Davies’ CHIARIKKI TSARINA (32b3) 24/11/03. A very stylish lady indeed and would have been my winner but for her undershot bite.  Well balanced medium wedge with very good top line and lovely wide based ears set to follow.  Sweet and gentle expression to eyes of oriental shape and set with mid blue colour. Good profile and strong chin which was perpendicular to nose tip, bite has only 2 lower outer incisors remaining now but they are well forward of the upper ones. Body has good length but is somewhat over-comfortable and spoils her elegant lines a touch, dainty limbs and spoon paws, tail needs an inch to balance. Very dark chocolate tortie points beautifully mingled in mid red. Excellent coat texture, in lovely condition, shaded overall to tone. Excellent to handle and excellently presented.

MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES

24 Series Breeders Kitten
1st - Green’s  BELROO HONEYSUCKLE (24n) F  24/08/08. A typy and promising baby.  Stylish little head with excellent top line and large flared ears very well set.  Oriental shape to eyes, rather straight set at present but should improve as the head develops, colour has good depth of blue. Strong profile for a baby, good firm chin and level bite. Body long, slender but really solid and firm toned, dainty limbs and long whip tail to balance. Points colour promising and beginning to show  good fudge-like tones at the base of the ears and under feet. Un-shaded coat of very good close texture for such a young kitten. Very sweet tempered and easy to handle. Excellently presented.

A.C. Novice Neuter
1st – Bond’s JOHPAS RED BREEZER (32a) MN 06/10/05. A large weighty lad of good type and style. Longer wedge head but top line wide enough to balance, ears large and very well set. Correct shape set and expression  to eyes with mid blue colour.  Strong profile with broad nose, deep strong chin, bite very untidy with several incisors missing top and bottom jaw but appeared reasonably level. Long substantial body, strong limbs and oval paws, tail rather short for balance. Good bright mid red points.  Lightly shaded warm white coat of very good texture.  Rather cross but handled reasonably well. Excellently presented.

2nd - Davies’ CHIARIKKI TSARINA (32b3) 24/11/03.

OPEN CLASSES

Chocolate Point Siamese Male Adult
Judged for BOB only and awarded - Duncan’s CH MALIKASIAM EMIR HARITH (24b) 11/03/05

Tortie Point Siamese Kitten
1st & BOB – Bowles-Gowdy’s MAFDET ULTRA VIOLET (32b8) 23/05/08. A very stylish kitten, perhaps a touch small for her age as yet but with very good weight for size. Typy head with very good top line and large bat ears excellently set. Lovely eyes with excellent shape set and brilliant colour.  Almost straight profile with a tiny dip centre nose, chin has depth but goes back a touch,  bite level. Excellent substance and  firm tone to long  body, dainty limbs and long whip tail with a minute “something” at the tip. Lilac-based caramel tortie points, suitably sludgy in tone with generally very good mingling in mid apricot, just the  left front paw a little solid but redeemed by the odd apricot hair higher on the limb. Off white coat of excellent texture, very short and close. Super temperament and beautifully presented.

2nd – Ellams’ LAZIZA KISMET (32b2) 31/05/08.  Another stylish kitten, fairly well grown, she was unlucky to meet the winner today.  Balanced medium wedge with very good top of head and large flared ears set to follow. Eye shape oval rather than oriental and she does tend to hold them a little full at times, colour very good. Profile almost straight, chin good, bite scissored over. Long elegant body not quite as weighty as the winner, good tail. Points colour very dubious, they are dark blue with a very definite brownish overtone  and the  tortie breaks  are more apricot than cream. Superb coat texture, beautifully sleek and close but off-white rather than glacial.  I was not prepared to wrong colour her in the available lighting but I do think she is probably blue-based caramel tortie rather than blue, going by what I was seeing today. Excellent temperament and beautifully presented.

3rd – Howarth’s MIYASAMA FREDDIES GIRL (32b1) 29/06/08. Neat little girl of  good type but could be better grown for nearly 7 months.  Even medium wedge with good top of head and good sized ears well set. Oval shape to eyes, setting good colour medium blue.  Good profile and chin but unfortunately the bite was overshot, it was also rather sore looking today. Good length to body, it was well covered and with weight appropriate to size, long limbs and longish tail that almost balanced.  Very dark seal tortie points with plenty of mid red mingling evident, particularly on the ears.  Virtually un-shaded coat of overall good length and texture. Easy to handle and excellently presented.

Blue Point Siamese Neuter Male
PC & BOB – Simpson’s GD PR SHERMESE TOO TOO PATOU 04/04/07. An old friend now this gorgeous lad, there is not  a lot more I can say about him that I haven’t already said. His points colour is a tad dark now but it is still cool in tone, he has the most lovely eyes with a wonderful expression and excellent depth of colour. Coat of lovely texture with medium shading overall. Perfect to handle as always and presented in tip top condition.

2nd – Mackenzie-Wood’s MERESCLIF CEANOTHUS 05/05/08. A large young boy with plenty of potential, only just 9 months and looking it, he was very unlucky to me up against the more mature winner today. Medium wedge is very well balanced but at present needs to strengthen and mature. Very good eye shape and set with  a somewhat innocent expression at present but with excellent vivid blue colour.  Profile almost straight, chin firm and bite level.  Long weighty and typically adolescent “puppy” body, long elegant limbs and spoon paws, good length tail to balance. Good mid blue points colour, good contrast to coat with the lightest of pale fawny blue shading, coat length and texture very good.  Excellent to handle and excellently presented.

MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES

Seal Point Siamese Limit Kitten
1st – Simpson’s SHERMESE PRIME SUSPECT. (24) M 10/09/08. A very well grown little boy and quite promising. Medium length head with good top line, ears large and well set.  Oval shape to eyes well set, colour bright mid blue.  Tiny dip to nose, good firm chin and level bite. Well covered and solid little body of good length, long limbs and long whip tail to balance. Very good warm toned seal points, creamy fawn coat, virtually un-shaded with good length and texture. A little shy outside  of his pen but handled well. Excellently presented.

A.C. Visitors Kitten
1st – Knowlson’s DRESTOTHRIL DOMINATRIX (24) F 26/09/08. Beautiful baby, very promising indeed. Shorter stylish wedge with excellent top line and large open based and very well flared ears set wide. Oriental eye shape and set with such an inscrutable expression for a baby and excellent brilliant colour. Straight profile, firm chin lines up, bite level, small teething pinch today. Firm little body of promising length, dainty limbs and paws, super whippy tail to balance. Warm seal points though tail rather brindled. Almost clear coat of lovely texture. A very confident young Miss beautifully presented. I look forward to seeing how she develops.

2nd – Janicki’s SHERMESE LIFE O’RILEY (32/1) M 10/09/08. An extremely promising boy, very well grown. Super head with broad top line and large wide based ears set to follow. Very good eye shape and set, perhaps a touch wide today, colour had very good depth of colour and brilliance of tone. Excellent strong profile, deep firm chin and level bite.  Lovely weight substance and feel to body of good length, strong limbs and long whip tail to balance. Good dark seal tabby markings showing large thumb prints, pale multi bracelets and very well ringed tail. Super coat for length and texture with the lightest of ticked shading to tone. What a shame this chap is monorchid. A very friendly chap excellently presented.

3rd – Kinkade’s MAFDET MOVIESTAR (32/1) F 04/10/08.

Mrs E Corps

Grateful thanks to both show committees for asking me to judge, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The late change of venue was an improvement in many ways and both parties combined to make it a success. My thanks to Witolda Maruszewska who stepped into the breach when my original steward was unable to attend – she did very well, considering Siamese have far more legs than her lovely Household pets! I do hope that she enjoyed it.
SPSCC CLASSES:
Miscellaneous
RADIUS KITTEN:
1 KERSHAW’S LISAMESE FIVESTARGIRL 24 Seal point female 4m.4wk. A loving little girl with a medium wedge showing a slight pinch, shallow chin and acceptable bite. Ears good for size and set and expressive eyes lacking a little in intensity of colour. Firm body, elegant limbs and rounded paws, needing a manicure, and tail good for length and taper but a tiny pip at the end. Points of a pleasing warm dark seal and warm off-white coat of good texture.
VETERAN NEUTER:
1 SNAITH’S IMP. GR. PR. FOXTWIST MOPPET 32/8 Caramel tabby point female 11yr3m. A truly senior lady “of traditional build” to quote Alexander McCall Smith’s books! In the pink of condition and still enjoying her outings. Strong head with a medium balanced wedge, acceptable bite, ears of only fair size when set against the young upstarts now on the show bench but still balanced, and nicely angled eyes of mid blue. Well fed body on sturdy legs and tail of just enough length, a touch thick at the base. All markings clear and of a palish caramel and coat a touch long but of good texture – super temperament and a joy with which to spend time.
CLUB CLASSES:
SPSCC SEAL POINT NEUTER:
1 JANICKI’S IMP. GR. PR. SHERMESE VERY VERSACE male 3yr5m. A lovely stylish and huge muscular cat with a super temperament – quite shaded but still contrast, with a longish wedge, ears excellent for size and set, and expressive eyes of good depth of blue. Elegant body, limbs and tail, points of deep warm seal and a super little beard.
2 RUDKIN’S PR. AMYDAY INCA WARRIOR male, 4yr4m. Another enormous chap and similar to the winner but just lost out as his points were a touch cooler in tone, especially on his tail.
3 ROBERTS’ STROBER HAPY CHAPIE male 1yr5m.
B&SCC SIAMESE OR BALINESE KITTEN:
ESTEFORD-HOWARDS’S MAPU KOFI 32/1 Seal tabby point Siamese 8m3wk. (see SCSBE open class).
RP&TPSCC RED, TORTIE, CREAM OR APRICOT POINT SIAMESE KITTEN:
 ELLAMS’ LAZIZA KISMET 32b2 Blue tortie point female 8m3wk. A rather sad-looking youngster with a medium wedge, almost straight profile, ears of very good size and set, bite acceptable and eyes a little straight-set but of a good mid blue. Elegant neckline, body needing to develop more muscle now and tail of balancing length.  All points mingled, but if she had been in an open class I would have marked her down for colour as the blue was very murky and the cream rather too warm, being more suggestive of a caramel tortie. Coat patched with slightly paler blue and of pleasing quality.
SCSBE CLASSES:
APRICOT POINT SIAMESE MALE ADULT:
IC BOB to TURNER’S APPLEJAACK SUMMERHEAT 1yr11m. This large chap was getting rather too friendly while we had him out, but was basically good-natured – a case of as little handling as possible! Medium even wedge with wide top between ears good for size, good chin and even bite, and nicely angled eyes of excellent depth of blue and an honest expression belying his behaviour! Lengthy muscular body on sturdy but still elegant limbs and balancing length of tapering tail.  All markings of a dusky Apricot, pale pink pads and nose leather and warm off-white coat which was a little open but he was getting rather uppity by then. I debated over giving the certificate, but decided that he had enough charms to justify the awarding of it.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE MALE KITTEN UNDER 6 MONTHS:
1 HARRIS’S SHERMESE PEGASUS 32/1 Seal tabby point, 5m1wk. A promising young male who was initially nervous and not easy to assess. Quite long wedge, good depth of chin and acceptable bite, ears that were of good size but could have done with slightly more width between and being better set, giving a slightly tubular look to the head, and nicely angled eyes of good blue. Elegant neckline, lengthy body muscling up nicely, elegant limbs with substantial feet and long tapering tail.  Markings of dark but slightly cool seal with single tracings, whisker spots, scarab, thumb prints and incomplete rings on tail as yet. Matching ticking on coat on a rather cool white coat which was a touch harsh in parts. I did take him to the light to check but still felt that he missed out on the BOB due to coolness of seal markings. Sadly the other three entries were absent.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE MALE KITTEN 6-9 MONTHS:
1 ESTEFORD-HOWARD’S MAPU KOFI 32/1 Seal tabby point 8m3wk. This very well-grown lad was lapping up all the attention. Medium wedge with a slight dip and very slight brow depression which should go as he develops, messy bite with missing incisors and gums a little sore, confirmed by the duty vet as not a serious problem. Large and quite well set ears, and eyes well set and of a deep blue. Well developed body of good length on sturdy limbs and tail only just long enough but nicely tapering. All markings evident of a warm dark seal with whisker spots, single tracings, thumb prints, blackish rings on most of tail and tonally matching warm shading along spine line and over shoulders.  Super coat quality.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE FEMALE KITTEN UNDER 6 MONTHS:
1 BOB KINKAIDE’S MAFDET MOVIESTAR 32/1 Seal tabby point 4m2wk. This dear little baby, just out of the crib, oozed charm.  Neat medium wedge with very slight pinch, good chin, even bite and wide set very large ears. Nicely angled eyes a touch large until she settled down and of a very good depth of blue. Elegant neckline, wiry body on long limbs and nicely tapering tail of balancing length.  All markings of a warmish dark seal with single tracings developing, scarab, whisker spots and rings developing along most of tail a touch cooler in tone than the rest of her markings. Super sleek coat – promising kitten and definitely a “pocket” job!
MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES:
SIAMESE NON-BREEDERS ADULT:  An interesting set of four adults
1 BENNISON’S MORALYN HEAVENSENTSIMBA 32/3 Chocolate tabby point male 1yr1m. A balanced look with nothing extreme – medium wedge with wide top between large ears, fairly good chin, untidy but basically even bite and slight dip to profile with expressive eyes of bright mid blue. Strong long and muscular body on equally strong limbs and tail of adequate length.  All markings present of a slightly dark but warm chocolate with broken bracelets of a paler tone and darker tail rings.  Off white warm coat of good quality, super natured and easy to handle.
2 DUNCAN’S CH. MALIKASIAM EMIR HARITH 24b Chocolate point male 11m. A strong and masculine cat with a longish wedge, chin sloping back very slightly with untidy bite and slight dip to profile.  Wide set large ears and expressive eyes of a dark but dull blue lacking intensity. Jowly neckline, acceptable in an entire boy, long strong body on sturdy legs and good length of tapering tail. Points warm but too dark a chocolate and almost hooded now, and warm tonally matching shading along spine on ivory coat, short and sleek.
3 GREEN’S CH. MAPU FIRENZE 24n Caramel point female 1yr10m.
X3 STEWART’S BARBECCO LILLIBET 32/5 Red tabby point female 10m4wk.
VISITORS ADULT:
1 TURNER’S APPLEJACK SUMMERHEAT.
2 DUNCAN’S CH. MALIKAASIAM EMIR HARITH.
3 BOWLED-GOWDY’S MAFDET ROSE ROYCE 32/1 Seal tabby point female 1yr3m.
4 WITHERS’ SAMSARA CHARME 32/1 Seal tabby point male 1yr2m.
DEBUTANTE KITTEN:
1 GREEN’S BELROO HONEYSUCKLE 24n Caramel point female 5m4wk. A lively little miss with a strong medium wedge, slight skull depression in otherwise even profile, good chin and bite and ears very good for size and set. Angled eyes of depth of blue, elegant body limbs and whip tail of good length and nicely tapering. Mid caramel points and off white coat a touch coarse.
2 HARRIS’S SHERMESE PEGASUS.
3 SIMPSON’S SHERMESE REMEMBERANCE 24a Blue point female 14wk.
The other three exhibits were sadly absent.
MAIDEN NEUTER:  A close-run result with both cats worthy of a first:
1 BOND’S JOHPAS RED BREEZER 32a Red point male 3yr4m. A nicely balanced boy with a medium even wedge, good chin and untidy bite. Straight profile, large well set ears and orientally slanted eyes of brilliant blue, a touch deep-set. Elegant neckline, long body of substance and tapering tail of adequate length.  Points of a medium red, paler on limbs but bright on ears, and slight tonally matching shading on warm white coat of excellent quality. Freckling on nose and lips.
2 DAVIES’ RENDZINA PUSSY GALORE 24n Caramel point female 2yr5m. A large cat with strong medium wedge showing very slight pinch, good chin and OK bite.  Straight profile, ears of good size and set nicely wide and expressive eyes of a good depth of blue. Long well developed body and tail a touch short but nicely tapering. Points of a bluish caramel and clear off-white coat of very good quality.
CLUB CLASSES:
SCSBE SIAMESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
1 BAUGHAN’S GR CH. MAPU FORGETMENOT 24n Caramel point female 1yr10m. A lovely girl with an even medium wedge narrowing at the muzzle, chin and bite fine, almost Roman profile, ears very good size and set and rather dominant eyes but nicely angled and of a good blue.  Elegant neckline, body and limb with tail tapering nicely, points bluish caramel and super coat qualities – short and close and almost clear.
LPSCS AOC SIAMESE/BALINESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
1 ELLAM’S MEESONA LUVINAMYST 24n Caramel point Siamese female 10m. A pleasing girl on many ways, with a longish head and narrow muzzle, good chin and bite, slightly scooped profile, ears of good size but bonneted at times and typical disdainful expression in eyes of a good depth of blue. Elegant neckline, body, limbs and tail and mid caramel points, with a cool toned white coat of good quality.
2 BOWLES-GOWDY’S MAFDET ROSE ROYCE 32/1 Seal tabby point Siamese female 1yr3m. This girl looked lovely in her pen, but I was unable to judge her fully as she was not in the best of tempers, and would have come first but for a tail problem. In all other respects she was pleasing, but did not have the same opinion of us!
B & DCC SIAMESE/BALINESE ADULT, KITTEN OR NEUTER:
1 AGGETT’S AMYDAY SOLAR LIGHT 32fn Apricot male Siamese neuter 2yr6m. What a poser! Super exhibit of style and presence, with a longish wedge, slight pinch, chin sloping back slightly and most of incisors missing now but gums appeared level. Haughty Siamese expression in slightly deep set eyes of strong blue, Long muscular body on elegant limbs with spoon feet and whip tail but only just long enough for perfect balance.  Points of a dusky apricot, darker on tail and off white coat of good texture with slight tonally matching shading. I loved him, in spite of a few slight problems.

Mrs N Farnsworth

A brave venture on the part of these two breed clubs to go ‘back to back’.  As it turned out it was a roaring success, largely due to the impeccable show management and many thanks are due to Lilian and Harry for their expertise.  We also had a new venue which seemed to meet with general approval and to top it all we had the most glorious weather which was beyond our control but appreciated by all.  My steward was Barbara Gould who was an excellent companion and handled the exhibits beautifully.  Thank you Barbara for working so hard.
SEAL POINT SIAMESE CAT CLUB:
TABBY POINT MALE ADULT:
1 CC W/H BENNISON’S MORALYN HEAVENSENTSIMBA (32/3) 14.1.08.  Very well grown male of slightly heavy type.  Straight wedge with good top of head and ears which need to be larger for balance.  Straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour.  Long heavy body of good muscle tone, good legs and a slightly thick tail which needs length.  Warm chocolate markings showing M on brow, thumb prints, tail rings and leg bars and bracelets.  Some shading on an ivory coat of good length and texture.
 2 WITHER’S SAMSARA CHARME (32/1) 5.12.07.  Very fine boned and of good type but needs to make a good deal growth to compete with adult males.  Excellent top of head and large ears which he tended to bonnet on occasion.  Straight lines to muzzle, straight nose, level bite and a chin which needs to be deeper.  Slightly straight set oriental eyes of excellent deep blue.  Well defined neckline and immature body with dainty legs and long well ringed tail.  All tabby markings well defined and some shading on a short coat just slightly harsh on the back.

TABBY POINT FEMALE ADULT:
1 CC BOB KNOWLSON’S DRESTOTHRIL DELIGHTFUL (32/3) 31.12.07.  Lovely young queen with excellent top of head and large well placed ears.  Straight profile, level bite and firm chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper for perfection.  Graceful head carriage and long stylish body with dainty legs and long well ringed whip tail.  Dark chocolate points showing excellent tabby markings with thumb prints, M on brow, cheek ribbons and leg bars and bracelets all clearly defined.  Short, close lying ivory coat showing slight shading.
2 BOWLES-GOWDY’S MAFDET ROSE ROYCE (32/1) 8.11.07.  Another striking young female of excellent type.  In a bit of a tantrum which did her no favours.  Excellent top of head and large ears.  Straight profile, bite not examined and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour.  Fine type overall with long svelte body, slender legs and long well ringed whip tail.  All tabby markings very well defined and a short, smooth coat of excellent length and texture.
3 RICHARD’S DEBIKAT GRACIE MAE (32/1) 2.4.08.  A younger queen than the first and second placed but easily holding her own, in fact I found it hard to place the first three as each could be a winner in other company.  Fine boned type with a balanced wedge with straight lines to muzzle and excellent top of head and well placed ears.  Straight profile, level bite and firm chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour.  Good head carriage and long well muscled body of stylish type, slender legs and well ringed whip tail.  All tabby markings evident and a coat of excellent length and texture.
4 STEWART’S BARBECCO LILLIBET (32/5) 22.3.08.  Well grown queen with a straight medium length wedge and good top of head with large, well placed ears. Straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin.  Straight set eyes of oriental shape and bright blue colour.  Well defined neckline and stylish body type with good muscle tone, slim legs and long, well ringed whip tail with a kink at the end.  Good red points with clear tabby markings and a clear warm white coat which was short, smooth and close lying.
CREAM POINT MALE ADULT:
1 CC BOB KERSHAW’S CAPTAIN CREAM(32c) 3.1.08.  In glowing condition and beautifully presented.  Medium length head with well placed ears which could be larger.  Straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which could be deeper for perfection.  Long, slightly heavy body of good muscle tone, slightly heavy legs and long tail.  His points gave the impression of being a trifle on the hot side but he was in brilliant sunlight so difficult to tell.  Clear coat of exquisite length and texture.
CHOCOLATE POINT KITTEN FEMALE:
1 NEWSON’S MAFDET FANCY NANCY(24b) 8.6.08.  Lovely kitten of excellent type.  Very stylish overall with a Straight balanced wedge and excellent width between large ears.  Straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour.  Elegant neckline and long svelte body with slender legs and long whip tail.  Points unmatching at present but far too dark, my reason for withholding BOB.  Lovely ivory coat.
2 ROBERT’S STROBER SILKITH(24b)  14.10.8.  A much younger kitten suffering from the same malady as the winner – points too dark.  Good top of head with ears which need to be larger.  Pinch to muzzle. Level bite and good chin.   Slightly full eyes of good basic shape and set with colour which could be deeper for perfection.  Beautifully grown with slender legs and long whip tail.  Dark chocolate points and  an excellent clear ivory coat.
CARAMEL POINT NEUTER MALE:
1 PC BOB MARTIN’S ABICASA PEER GYNT 14.2.08.  Very stylish gentleman of excellent type.  Balanced wedge with small pinch to muzzle and excellent width between large ears.  Straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with clear bright colour which needs to deeper for perfection.  Long body of stylish type with slender legs and long whip tail.  Good caramel points colour and slight shading on a smooth, close lying coat.
2 GREEN’S SHERMESE AZAMOUR 10.4.04.  Beautifully grown, mature boy of excellent type.  Strong head with good width between large ears.  Almost straight profile, level bite, chin needs to be deeper.  Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour, he persisted in looking down his nose on the day.  Excellent growth and muscle tone with a long body, slim legs and long whip tail.  Good caramel points colour and some shading on the back of a coat of excellent length and texture.
3 TURVEY’S PR.STYPERSON MYSTIQUE 7.8.06.  A beautifully presented exhibit in superlative condition.  Straight head of good length with well placed ears which are looking a little small in comparison to his very well fed body.  Straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour which could be deeper for perfection.  Long body, slim legs and long whip tail.  Good caramel points colour and a coat which was short, smooth and close lying.
CARAMEL POINT SPAYED FEMALE:
1 PC DAVIES’ RENDZINA PUSSY GALORE 13.9.06.  Well grown exhibit of overall good type.  Balanced head with well placed large ears.  Almost straight profile, level bite and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with bright blue colour.  Stylish head carriage and long, svelte body, slender legs, small oval feet and whip tail.  Good caramel points colour and a clear coat of good texture just a fraction long on the day.

RED POINT NEUTER MALE:
1 PC BOB BOND’S JOHPAS RED BREEZER 6.10.05.  Mature gentleman of very good type.  Straight wedge with good top of head and large ears.  Straight profile, untidy bite due to loss of teeth and good chin.  Oriental eye shape and set with clear, bright blue colour.  Long body of excellent muscle tone, slim legs and long whip tail.  Bright red points and minimal shading on a coat of excellent length and texture.

Mr J Hansson

Sincere thanks to the show managers Lillian & Harry plus their respective associates of both shows for my invitation, it all appeared to go smoothly, despite the prospective perils of a new venue to contend with, the venue turned out to be excellent, a lovely environment, clean & bright.  Excellent lunch as always.  I really would particularly like to thank my steward Jackie who had the most wonderful twisted sense of humour so suited me admirably, excellent company & handled the cats well no doubt her experience as a veterinary nurse serving her well.  Can steward for me anytime, great fun, which is just what your hobby should be.

Imperial Grand Champion Female;
IMP GR CH KNOWLSON’S  GR CH DRESTOTHRIL SILK DRAWERS.  32b 1.  03-03-06.  Seal Tortie Point, very flashy if a little vocal & reserved.  Excellent head strength, even lines to the wedge, strong profile, deep chin, bite untidy.  Huge ears with very wide base, set wide & well apart, low but not so low that they drop below the head line.  Eyes have very good oriental shape & slant, deep intense blue colour, wonderfully withering expression.  Long very elegant neckline, the body long & lithe, slender limbs, small neat paws, very good length fine tail.  Tight fitting short very close, sleek glossy coat, excellent presentation.  Body shows some mottled shading with a patchy appearance due the breaks of tonal shading, still a very good degree of contrast to the points, which were well broken, good seal base colour with varying shades of cream which in an ideal world could be brighter, breaks on all her points.  Her condition was superb, not the quietest of girls to handle but despite her yells actually handles well enough if rather tense & shy, later Best Adult In Show.
RES IMP GR BAUGHAN’S  GR CH MAPU FORGETMENOT.   24n.  10-04-07.  Quite a dainty girl & could perhaps being extremely critical could possess a little more maturity, but her type is excellent & she has such  lovely expression.  Head of good length with very pleasing well balanced even lines, excellent profile, chin slopes back a little & her bite also so it meets.  Ears are beautifully set with fared base to complement the wedge, large in size.  Gorgeous eyes, beautifully slanted oriental shape, intense blue colour, with a wonderfully trusting expression.  Body is lithe & elegant, yet firm despite being quite dainty, slim legs, very dainty paws, fine tail which I would prefer longer.  Coat very good shorter length, beautifully close lying, excellent texture, well presented.  Creamy magnolia tone to the body, showing excellent contrast to the points, well matched lilac based caramel of even taupe, quite a good amount of colour on her front legs.  Her condition was excellent & she has such  a wonderfully trusting nature &  a delight to handle.

AOC Novice Adult;
1st  KNOWLSON’S  DRESTOTHRIL DELIGHTFUL.  31/1.  31-12-07.  Seal Tabb Point, most attractive firm well proportioned girl.  Good length wedge, excellent even lines, very good profile, quit a good chin, bite level.  Ears large, set quite low with some gutters at their base, complementary flare.  Eyes have an excellent oriental shape & slant, with a intense blue colour, pleasing expression.  Elegant neckline, firm well developed body, slender legs, oval paws, good length fine whiptail.  Her coat was well prepared, fitting tight & close,  sleek & well cared for.  She has some darker shading along the spine line but not excessive, with well contrasted tabby pattern, double cheek ribbons, good ‘M’ on the brow, some thumbprints on the ears, well marked leg bracelets, tail rings better towards the tip, slightly more blurry towards the base. Colour has a reasonable degree of warmth.  A gentle reserved nature whose condition was splendid.
2nd  SIMPSON’S   SHRMESE MERCEDES.  24n.  09-04-08.  Caramel Point, very stylish young girl just to acquire a degree of maturity which time will hopefully fulfil.  Medium length wedge, fining on he muzzle, slightly undulating profile, good chin & level bite.  Ears are beautifully set in a fixed wide position, flared open base complementing the wedge, very good larger size.  Beautiful eyes, lovely oriental shape & slant, vivid blue colour with a lovely expression.  Body still quite dainty whilst possessing firm tone & good weight, slim legs, small oval paws, fine tail could be marginally longer.  Close coat, well prepared excellent texture, reasonable shorter length.  Slightly cool beige over tone to the coat, with excellent contrast to the very dark slaty blue based caramel sludgy points colour.  Her condition excellent, handles well when out but quick to fire back on her return showing a degree of attitude.  .
3rd  RICHARDS’S  DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE.  32/1.

AC Radius Adult;
1st  STEWARD’S  BARBECCO LILLIBET.  32/5.  22-03-08.  Red Tabby Point, a very lean & somewhat narrow fine girl, whose type is very good but with a tendency to panic & really needs to fill out & mature more.  Her wedge has very even lines if a little narrower than I would ideally prefer, very good profile, chin good, bite okay.  Ears large & with good width at the base, set much improved when relaxed.  Her eyes though initially a little wide, but the actual shape still retained an oriental shape & slant, excellent deep blue colour.  Very long narrow body requiring a greater degree of substance this was not a reflection of her condition, she appeared to be quite a hyper girl, long slim legs, dainty paws, very good length fine tail with small irregularity at its tip. Her coat was very close lying, marginally long but not excessively, lovely texture.  Tabby tracings are a very good bright red tone, though I would have preferred them more evident, leg bracelets quite faint, better tail rings, adequate facial tracings, super contrast to the clear near white body colour.  Her condition was excellent, her temperament was quite sweet but she was inordinately shy & panicky when she was out of the pen & as a result does not show well.
2nd  KERSHAW’S  ADATEAM CAPTAIN CREAM.  32c.  03-01-08.  Cream Point, this lad was extremely well grown & masculine for his age, but rather inclined to being heavy.  Head is more of moderate contoured wedge, with quite heavy jowling for his young age, throw his muzzle which gives it a more rounded & pinched effect than a true wedge, good profile, strong chin, bite untidy. Ears need to be larger & more flared & he is inclined to prick them high.  Eyes a little too straight set & look a little deep set, the colour has a very good intense deep blue.  He has a very masculine strong body, with impressive development but may need to watch his weight, long legs, oval paws, well balanced tail.  Coat was well prepared, close lying & quite a good length.  Very subtle war shaded body, his points are quite a warm cream & little hot in places, particularly his tail.  His condition was excellent, a little on the tense side which is possibly hormonal, just looking a little out if kilter for me.

Breed 32 Non-Breeders Kitten;
1st  JANICKI’S  SHERMESE LIFEO’REILLY.  32/1.  10-09-08.  Seal Tabby Point, beautifully flashy little chap, excellent type but perhaps looking a little pretty as yet.  Stylish beautifully even wedge, excellent profile, good depth chin, level bite, double upper canines.  Lovely ears, beautifully set, wide flare to the base to complement the wedge, excellent larger size.  Stunning eyes, exquisitely oriental in both shape & slant, vivid intense blue with such a gorgeous expression.  Body is developing good length, slender limbs, small oval paws, fine whiptail of good length.  Excellent short coat, which was exceptionally close for a kitten of his age, lovely texture, very sleek.  Well defined tabby tracings, multi cheek ribbons, clear ‘M’, very good thumbprints on the ears, good leg bracelets, tail rings coming through, contrasted well against the clear coat, excellent warm tone.  His condition was superb & his temperament charm itself, later Best in Show Kitten & well deserved.
2nd   ELLAMS’S  LAZIZA KISMET.  32b 2.  31-05-08. Blue Tortie, a most attractive girl for type, though ideally I would prefer her a little better grown for her age as she I rapidly approaching adulthood.  Type impressive with even lines to the well balanced even wedge, virtually straight profile, reasonable chin with tiny beard, good bite.  Ears large & well set, wide flare to their base.  Eyes have oriental shape & set, very good depth of blue, pleasing expression.  Well toned firm body despite my comment that she could be larger, well proportioned legs & neat paws, fine tail of quite well balanced length.  Coat could be slightly shorter but was nevertheless close & well prepared. Colour interesting wouldn’t like to say at this stage definitely what she is but it will be interesting to see how she develops, body is developing some rather sludgy shading though still with a very good degree of contrast to her points which are all showing breaks of colour, he blue base colour a little dark but what should preferably be cool shades of cream are very hot particularly on the tail & ears.  Her condition & temperament were both excellent.
3rd  KINCAIDE’S  MAFDET MOVIE STAR.  32/1.

Siamese/Balinese Neuter, Male;
1st  RUDKIN’S  PR AMYDAY INCA WARRIOR.  24.  15-10-04.  Seal Point, very well grown mature lad.  Longer length wedge, slight muzzle pinch, ideally the head could use a little more depth, long skull with bump at the back, profile undulates a little., chin okay, bite a little over.  Ears could b a little larger & also a tad lower in set for my own preference, would benefit with a little more flare to their base.  Eyes have quit a good depth of blue but requiring a little more brilliance ideally, good shape & slant.  Long neck, long well proportioned body, long legs, oval paws, tail needs an inch or so to balance more fully.  The coat marginally long, but close & well prepared, could perhaps be a little sleeker.  Body has rather cold toned shading, still contrast to the points but these were rather black as opposed to warm seal brown, very dense & complete.  His condition & temperament both excellent.

Siamese/Balinese Spayed Female;
1st  SNAITH’S IMP GR PR FOXTWIST MOPPET.  32/8.  17-11-97.  Caramel Tabby Point, at over 11 years of age she is undoubtedly showing signs of age, she still retains a number of qualities which defined her youth.  Relatively short well balanced wedge, looking a little blunt on the muzzle, slight break in profile, good depth chin, bite good, still with her teeth.  Ears more medium size, would benefit with a little more size & flare, well set.  Her eyes are now a little deep set, but the shape & set are both very typically oriental, colour by no means pale but perhaps a touch duller in tone.  Body has surprisingly good tone for a girl of her age, slim legs, oval paws, tail a little on the shorter side. Clear coat of milky magnolia colour with slight sandy overtone, good facial marking, more delicate leg markings, impressive number of tail rings I counted 12. The colour looking rather subtle & pale. Condition as ever splendid & she has the most serene gentle nature.

Chocolate Point Kitten;
1st  & BOB.  NEWSON’S  MAFDET FANCY NANCY.  08-06-08.  Very pleasing young miss, most attractive.  Good length wedge with minimal pinch, very good near straight profile, quite a good chin, bite good.  Ears are large & possess wide flare at the base, pricks a little high on occasion but once relaxed are very well set. Though initially a little full in the eye shape they are again much better as she relaxes in her pen, gentle slant, deep blue colour, slightly naughty expression.  Long neckline, firm toned body, slim legs, neat paws, long fine tail. Very sleek close coat, laying close & well prepared.  Beautiful clear warm ivory coat, excellent contrast, marginally dark chocolate, paler stockings, some brindled spectacles where the points have still to complete.  Beautifully presented, excellent condition, charming in the morning a little more feisty later in the day.

Caramel Point Neuter, Male;
1st & PC TURVEY’S  PR STYPHERSON MYSTIQUE.  07-08-06.  A bite a grumpy lad of even type if a little lacking impact.  Quite even lines to his wedge, almost straight profile, good chin & bite.  Ears well placed but I would prefer them larger & little more flared ideally.  Eyes quit a good oriental shape & setting, the colour for preference requiring a little more intensity.  Good length of neck, long well muscled body, with good length of legs, oval paws, quite a good length whiptail.  Close coat, generally good shorter length, well presented.  Light magnolia body colour with excellent contrast to the points,  these are softer than I would have preferred & required more evidence of brownish over caste to give a more sludge effect more typically caramel even for a lilac based.  His condition & presentation both excellent, bit testy but not difficult.

Caramel Point Neuter, Female;
1st  PC & BOB.  DAVIES’S  RENDZINA PUSSY GALORE.  13-09-06.  Pleasing girl, looking very balanced & even.  Though not a long wedge she was even & possessed good width, near straight profile, chin good, bite minimally over. Ears large & wide at the base, very well set.  Eyes have lovely oriental shape & slant, deep bright vivid blue, quite a haughty expression.  Lithe firm body, legs slim, oval paws, ell balanced length tail.  Close sleek well prepared quite short coat, excellent texture.  Cool light body colour with excellent contrast to the lilac based quite sludgy points colour, which were quite dense & complete.  Her condition was excellent, has a degree of attitude but nothing that gets out of hand.

AC Debutante Adult;
AOC Novice Adult;
Her condition excellent, handles well when out but quick to fire back on her return showing a degree of attitude.  .
3rd  RICHARDS’S  DEBIKA GRACIE-MAE.  32/1.

Titled Neuter;
1st  SIMPSON’S  GR PR SHERMESE TOO TOO PATOU.  24a.  04-04-07.  Blue Point, wonderfully stylish exhibit with the most wonderful temperament.  Excellent wedge, the lines beautifully even, unusually strong profile, raised above the eye line, with a ‘Romanesque’ appearance as a result, good chin & bite.  Ears are large with wide flare to their base which complemented the wedge so very well.  Super eyes, the shape & slant essentially oriental, intense vivid blue colour wonderfully supercilious expression.  Long very elegant neckline, long firm well toned body, slim legs, neat paws, very good length fine tail with the smallest of indiscretions at its extreme tip.  His coat is very close lying though could b a little shorter ideally, well prepared.  His body colour was showing some tonal blue shading but still more than adequate contrast to his points of well matched blue that I would have preferred softer toned.  Super condition, quite a charming nature.

2nd  HAYWOOD’S  GR PR AERANGIS ZHIVAGO.  24.  22-07-98.  Seal Point, still quite a striking lad given his age.  Very good length wedge, long skull with quite a prominence to the back, small break in profile no doubt attributable to age, good chin, no lower incisors & long upper canines.  Ears large & well set, wide well open base, slight amount of bonneting.  Gorgeous eyes, lovely shape & slant, the colour still retaining a very good depth of blue, excellent expression.  Good neck, long body of surprisingly good muscle tone, slim legs, oval paws, quite a well balanced length tail.  Coat slightly longer & thicker due to his more senior years, but that aside the texture was good  & his presentation excellent.  Body shaded but warm tonal tone, dense complete points, still with a very good degree of contrast.  Lovely condition, such a composed dignified lad, still looking extremely handsome.

3rd  TURVEY’S  PR STYPHERSON MYSTIQUE.  24n.

Blue Point Siamese Male Neuter PR. Miss E M Mackenzie-Wood’s: MERESCLIFF CEANOTHUS (24a) MN 5.5.08 A young boy of good type and well grown, he has a medium to large even wedge head, wide top and large well set ears. Straight profile, firm chin and level bite, deep blue oriental eyes, large strong body, long legs and oval feet, long tapering tail,  (hopefully) dark blue points, there seemed to be some sign of the caramel shade, but not enough to be sure, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt!  Off white rather than cool glacial body, good contrast, short fine coat, a friendly boy well presented in excellent condition.  BOB. My thanks to Lilian for the invitation to judge and congratulations on an enjoyable show.  The new venue seems good albeit I got lost on the way and apologise for the lateness in beginning to judge my classes.  I thank Anne Clay who came to steward for me – we had an enjoyable day with lots of lovely exhibits – Anne as usual handled all the exhibits with great expertise and gentleness.

Mrs B Pearce

SEAL POINT SCC OPEN CLASSES.
AC SIAMESE/BALINESE IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER MALE.
IMP GR PR, JANICKI'S IMP GR PR SHERMESE VERY VERSACE. (24) 22.8.05. Seal Point Siamese. Very proud and handsome, looking absolutely superb. Very strong head, his wedge even and beautifully balanced. Ears very large, wide at the base and superbly set. Good profile, firm chin - lovely little goatee beard, level bite. Expressive eyes, oriental in shape and set, dark vivid blue tone. Strong and masculine in stature with a long muscular body, long strong legs and a long whip tail, tiny invisible pip at the tip. Well matched dense warm seal brown points. Warm toned shading to the body, heavier over his back, warm cream bib - the contrast between points and body perfectly acceptable. Lovely coat texture, beautifully prepared and close lying. Wonderful temperament, he really is a joy to handle, and was presented to perfection. RES IMP GR PR, SIMPSON'S GR PR SHERMESE TOO TOO PATOU. (24a) 4.4.07. Blue Point Siamese. This another example of superb type and style - although not quite so mature looking as his older half brother, I found it very difficult to choose between them. Longer strong wedge head with excellent width to perfectly balance the length. Ears very large, wide at the base, beautifully set and flared. Very strong profile, there is now quite a rise over the bridge which detracts a little, good depth firm chin, level bite. Beautiful eyes and expression - the colour dark and sparkling. Very tall and elegant in stature, has really grown up now and gained plenty of substance of late. Very long firmly muscled body with long slender legs and a long fine whip tail, also with a tiny invisible pip at the tip. Blue points well matched, just a touch dark but soft in tone. Cool toned shading to the body, glacial bib - the contrast between points and body good. Coat of excellent texture, maybe just a touch long but perfectly prepared and close lying. Delightful boy beautifully presented.
AC SIAMESE/BALINESE IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER FEMALE.
IMP GR PR, REED'S IMP GR CH & UK IMP GR PR JOHPAS GLAMNGLITZ. (32b8) 17.4.02. Caramel Tortie Point Siamese. Well what a lady - it's a job to know what else to say about her that has not already been said by me, Uncle Tom Cobley, and all!! Looking superb - wonderful strength of head with very large wide based ears beautifully set and flared. Strong profile, good chin and bite. Gorgeous eyes, truly oriental in shape and set - have retained excellent depth and brilliance of colour. Very long body and neckline, although slinky she is very firm to the feel and well toned. Long slim legs, very tall and elegant in stature. Fine whip tail needing a touch more length for perfect balance. Lilac based caramel tortie points, showing correct brownish overtones, and all mingled with shades of apricot. Off white body, just the merest hint of tortied shading on her lower back and hips - very good contrast. Coat beautifully prepared, of excellent texture and very close lying. Beautifully presented, outstanding in all respects - it's hard to believe she is approaching 7 years. RES IMP GR PR, MARTIN'S GR CH & GR PR ABICASA CARMINA BURANA. (24c) 13.2.07. Lilac Point Siamese. Lovely girl - very deserving, and very unlucky indeed to meet the winner - but unfortunately "that's show biz"! Very strong and even mid length wedge head, her ears very large and wide based, held just a touch low but not unacceptably so. Near straight profile, Chin lines up but could be a little deeper, level bite. Excellent oriental eye shape and set, bright vivid blue in tone. Long well toned body with dainty legs. Whip tail requires another 1" for perfect balance. Points excellent - true pinkish grey in tone. Magnolia body very lightly shaded over her back - the contrast between points and body very good. Short, close lying coat of excellent texture - she was prepared and presented to perfection.
APRICOT POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE.
IC n/a 1, TURNER'S APPLEJACK SUMMERHEAT. 27.2.07. A boy of good overall type with a mid length slightly pinched wedge head. Ears well set but need to be a fraction larger and wider based. Straight profile, chin lines up but lacks depth, and unfortunately at the moment has quite a lot of acne which requires treatment (this was my reason for withholding his certificate). Level bite. Eyes of good shape and set showing very good depth and brilliance of colour. Good length well muscled body with long legs and a tapered tail. Very good apricot points, hot and sandy in tone, well matched on ears, mask, hocks and tail - paler on legs as expected. Warm creamy white body lightly shaded over his back in tone with his points - contrast very good. Coat a little long and rather fluffed up, but he was quite tense.
BLUE POINT SIAMESE KITTEN FEMALE.
1 & BOB, MARTIN'S ATARIQ ABICASA ROSAMUNDE. 28.8.08. A lovely well grown baby of very good type. Short strong wedge head well balanced by large wide based, and very well set ears. Straight profile with a firm chin and level bite. Eyes oriental in both shape and set, the colour a bright vivid blue. Very long well muscled body with long slim legs and a long whip tail. Points slightly dark, but soft in tone and well matched on her ears, mask and tail. Paler blue stockings. Glacial tone to the body, just very lightly shaded over her back. Coat short and close lying, of excellent texture. A delightful kitten beautifully prepared and presented.

SCSBE OPEN CLASSES.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE ADULT MALE.
1 & CC, BENNISON'S MORALYN HEAVENSENTSIMBA. (32/3) 14.1.08. Chocolate Tabby Point. A big strong youngster of good overall type. Good strength to mid length even wedge head. His ears well set - whilst not small, for perfection they could be a touch larger. Very good straight profile with a firm chin and level bite. Good oriental shape and setting to bright blue eyes showing acceptable depth of colour. I particularly liked the strength and masculinity of this lad, he was very well grown and developed for his age. Long muscular body and neckline with long strong legs. His tail somewhat short and thick but it was well ringed. Other tabby markings overall well defined in warm mid chocolate apart from his leg bars and arm bands which, as expected, were paler. Firm thumb prints. Good clear M, fine single cheek ribbons with several splashes under, and pin prick whisker spots to his mask. Warm ivory body virtually clear of any shading, just a little at his hips - excellent contrast. His coat superbly prepared - very short and close fitting - gleaming with condition. The gentlest boy, beautifully presented. 2, WITHERS'S SAMSARA CHARME. (32/1) 5.12.07. Seal Tabby Point. A boy of similar age to the winner but looking very immature in comparison. His head is out of balance at the moment - he has a very good top with large well set and wide based ears, but lacks length from his eyes to his muzzle. Good straight profile, chin weak and receding and his bite marginally over. Eyes of good colour but very small and straight set. Long body, firm and well muscled with long elegant legs and a long whip tail. Seal tabby markings quite well defined although there is some agouti invasion, mainly to the tail rings. Brushed thumb prints. M and single cheek ribbons to mask (hint of a second developing). Paler leg bars and arm bands, tail rings could be clearer. Body shows ticked shading in tone with the points colour, but his contrast perfectly acceptable. Coat short but a little dry in texture, and therefore not lying completely close. Very friendly boy - excellent presentation.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE ADULT FEMALE.
Four lovely girls with a lot to offer. 1 CC & BOB, KNOWLSON'S DRESTOTHRIL DELIGHTFUL. (32/3) 31.12.07. Chocolate Tabby Point. Gorgeous mature queen of excellent, and beautifully balanced type. Long strong and even wedge head with large wide based ears set to follow the lines of her wedge. Straight profile, just a touch flat over her forehead, firm chin and level bite. Lovely expression to oriental eyes with dark vivid blue colour. Long well toned body with graceful neckline, long slim legs and long fine tail. Well defined mid chocolate tabby markings. Round thumb prints. Mask shows a clear M, firm single cheek ribbons with shadow second, and pin prick whisker spots. Paler leg and arm bands. Good tail rings with a solid dorsal line. Warm lightly ticked ivory body - excellent contrast. Coat of superb texture, short and close lying. She is aptly named and was beautifully prepared and presented. 2, RICHARDS'S DEBIKAT GRACIE-MAE. (32/1) 2.4.08. Seal Tabby Point. A very promising young lady gown and developed in line with her age - very stylish and elegant. Even wedge head showing very good strength and balance. Large ears, wide at the base and very well set. Straight profile, deep firm chin, acceptable bite although her teeth are very untidy for one so young. Deep vivid blue oriental eyes with lovely expression. Long slender body, well muscled and developed in line with her age. Seal tabby markings well defined. Wide brushed thumb prints. Clear M, single ribbons and dark whisker spots to mask. Paler leg bars and arm bands. Good rings to tail with a solid dorsal line. Un-shaded body giving excellent contrast. Coat short and close lying, of very good texture and beautifully prepared. Excellent presentation. 3, BOWLES-GOWDY'S MAFDET ROSE ROYCE. (32/1) 8.11.07. Seal Tabby Point. A very attractive mature looking girl, but she was quite a handful today and didn't do herself too many favours!!. Well balanced strong wedge head with large wide based and very well set ears. Good straight profile, firm chin, level bite. Very good basic shape and setting to her deep brilliant blue eyes but held quite full - and she would persist in squinting at me. Long well toned slender body and neckline, long slim legs, long whip tail. Dark well defined tabby markings, a touch on the black side of seal. Brushed thumb prints. Clear M, single cheek ribbons and dark whisker spots. Good leg bars, arm bands and tail rings. Body shows ticked based shading in tone with her tabby markings. Lovely short, close and well prepared coat. Beautifully presented but she was very uptight - on the verge of a call perhaps?? 4, STEWART'S BARBECCO LILLIBET. (32/5) 22.3.08. Red Tabby Point. Although not quite the youngest she looked very much the baby of the class, and was somewhat overawed by the occasion. Fine boned and dainty I would expect her to improve as she matures. Longish wedge head almost balanced by the width. Her ears large, wide based and well set. Straight profile with a good chin and bite. Dark blue oriental eyes, her expression and overall demeanour more relaxed in her pen than out. Long slender body, firm to the feel, elegant in stature. Long slim legs. Fine whip tail - tiny invisible pip at the tip. Tabby markings quite well developed, and roughly in line with my expectations of a red tabby of this age. Ears bright in tone with wide brushed thumb prints. The colour a little paler on other points with fine M and short fine cheek ribbons to mask. Shadow leg bars and arm, bands. Fairly good tail rings. Warm white un-shaded body. Close lying coat of excellent texture. Beautifully presented.
