Open Forum Discussion of Class Structure February 2012
In order to allow a full and proper discussion of the proposals to alter
the show awards system an open forum is to be held immediately prior
to the Council Meeting at 12noon on Wednesday 22 February 2012. This
forum is open to anyone with an interest in the subject to attend and/or
contribute. Attendees will be able to stay on for the Council Meeting,
starting at 1pm, as observers if they so wish. Ideas gained from this
discussion will form the background to future Council decisions on the
show awards system. It is not intended to change the system for the
2012/13 show year to allow recent changes and their effect to be evaluated
without the complication of further alteration. There are two proposals
already under discussion from the National Cat Club and the West Country
Cat Club, first presented at the June 2011 Council Meeting, but the
forum will not be limited to just these.
