We are compiling a list of cat friendly hotels/B&Bs throughout the UK and hope that you will find this useful. We would like to hear of personal recommendations so that we can contact the establishment to ascertain if they would like to be added so please do contact the Webmaster on goldlay@gmail.com if you know of such a place, or indeed if you are a proprietor and would like a listing.
If contacting any of the establishments do mention you saw their listing on the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy website.
The status of the establishments will be correct at the time of posting to the webpage but the GCCF cannot accept responsible for any change in services and you should always check that your cat will be welcome at the time of booking.

There is secure on site parking available (limited availability), and free parking overnight on City Road until 10am for hotel guests arriving by car. Guests travelling by train will find the Eaton Hotel conveniently situated between the railway station and the city centre, both within 5 minutes walk.
There are bars and restaurants close to the hotel and the many - attractions of Chester - are just a short stroll away. The famous shopping rows, the 900 year old Chester Cathedral, the picturesque River Dee, and the ancient Roman walls and bridges are within easy walking distance.
The Eaton Hotel was taken under the ownership of Mr and Mrs Swift in June 2007. With the help of the staff already in place, their aim is to take the hotel forward whilst modernising parts of the historic building, including replacing a 150 year old staircase with a lift for our elderly visitors. Their aim is to provide a high standard of accomodation and service in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly environment.

Between Hitchin and Stevenage, Redcoats Farmhouse Hotel offers home-cooked food and cosy bedrooms. The historic country house is set in 4 acres of gardens, with scenic views across Hertfordshire's countryside.
The bright and airy bedrooms have free Wi-Fi access and period features. Each room has a private bathroom and tea/coffee facilities, and all are individually decorated. Redcoats Farmhouse is just a 5-minute drive from the A1(M) motorway.
We do not charge for pets, as such. We do say that they are not allowed on the beds. If they cause our housekeepers extra work due to hairs, mud etc we will then make a charge.
