Non-Prefix Registrations

Since October 1st 1982, the full names of cats/kittens registered without a Breeder's Prefix have commenced with a distinguishing word.

This "administrative prefix" is changed each January, and a different word is used for each Section of the Register; see list below.

For Non-prefix applications, the name including the administrative prefix may contain no more than 26 characters including spaces.

The Registrars will add the appropriate admin prefix in front of your choice of cat's/kitten's names.

For example, ADQUASH RED FRED would be a 1996 registered Short Haired cat.
