At the Council Meeting on 6/11/2021 a temporary amendment to GCCF Rule Section 5/3a proposed by the Veterinary Advisory Committee was approved, which effectively allows a 3 month extension to the permitted booster interval for adult cats attending shows. To attend shows, adult cats, who have completed the primary vaccination course, must have had a vaccine within the 15 months and 7 days (changed from 12 months and 7 days) preceding the show. This concession is temporary until vaccine supplies are back to normal.
