BSH BAC – British Longhair SOP update guide

The British Shorthair BAC has recently formed a working group, led by well-respected BSH Breeder, Judge and BAC delegate, Sue Dalton-Hobbs, to create a guide to the standard of points for Judges, Breeders and Exhibitors.  The BAC had made changes to the SoP to align to the BLH on health grounds to protect the breed and not evolve to resemble any extreme breed.  Initially, the group are concentrating on head type with nose length, uniformity of width, nose leather formation and how open nostrils should be.

We are creating a presentation that includes photos of the ideal to the opposite of ideal to illustrate these points.  Updates will be provided to all interested parties in due course.
