Judges play a pivotal role in the GCCF as they interpret the Standards of Points and grant titles to those cats that, in their opinion, most closely conform. This is a huge responsibility and one that no judge can ever take lightly.
The GCCF relies upon its Judges to share their expertise and knowledge with their stewards and to guide, educate and assess those candidates wishing to become future judges.

I am on the Stewarding Scheme and proudly serve on the UK RagaMuffin Cat Society committee.”

“I have been showing cats since the mid 90s and specialised in Section 6 new colours and coat patterns. I currently show Balinese and am involved with several committees. “I live on the Devon coast overlooking the sea and breed Maine Coons. I’m best known for being Busy Being Fabulous (Brian)’s Mum! I used to teach children but now work in a pottery studio. I steward in the pedigree section but judging HHP is awesome. Every cat is special and I get carried away with cuddles, it’s hard to put them down when they are purring and snuggled into your neck.”

In my everyday life I am visiting professor at Imperial College & MD of a company developing innovation for nuclear decommissioning. I love judging HHPs who bring so much joy to their owners. “I have been showing cats since 2009. I show LH Selkirk Rex in GCCF, TICA and Traditional a European registry. I have never wished to become a full breed judge, but I love judging in the HHP section. I have judged at many shows but by far the best show to judge at is the Supreme Cat show which I have done a few times and judging Overall Best in Show is such an honour.”

I have, and I absolutely love it!”
