The GCCF Roadshow is growing quickly, and we’re now looking for more volunteers from across the cat fancy to help us deliver roadshows at GCCF shows across the UK in 2026.
Whether you’re a judge, breeder, steward, exhibitor, or club member . . . there’s a role for you!
🎤 1. Could You Speak at a Roadshow?
We’re looking for friendly, knowledgeable speakers to deliver short, engaging talks on:
- Judging pedigree or HHP cats
- Stewarding
- Showing for newcomers
- Breed appreciation / meet the breeds
Most of our speakers are GCCF judges, experienced breeders, or BAC reps etc. — but if you’re confident, passionate, and happy to share your knowledge, we’d love to hear from you.
🐱 2. Could You Bring a Cat for Demonstration?
One of the most popular parts of the Roadshow is seeing real cats up close, especially when they’re being judged or handled.
We’re looking for calm, confident cats (not in competition on the day) whose owners are happy for them to be part of breed or handling demos. You’ll be with them at all times and the atmosphere is relaxed and controlled. We’ll look for shows near your location and invite you to help out by bringing your cats.
🙌 3. Could You Help Run the Events?
We also need reliable, experienced GCCF members to help run Roadshows locally. Ideal volunteers include:
- GCCF show managers
- Show committee members
- Seasoned exhibitors with event experience
You’d help coordinate pens, speakers, and the flow of the day, with full support from the Roadshow team.
We’re building a national calendar for 2026 and would love to have a team of volunteers across the UK we can call on as needed.
If you’re interested in any of the above, please fill in the short form here:
